I bought a couch from Asley furniture in 2007. By 2009 the couch fell apart. The frame broke and I was told a technican had to come to the house to examine it. I paid $39 for him to check it out and was told it was my fault it was broken and it would not be covered by any warranty. But for $ 150 they would pick it up and take it to their warehouse and repair it for $ 55/hour. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? BUYER BEWARE! Seems like customers are never right and are treated rudely and unprofessionaly once they get your money. I WILL NEVER SHOP IN EITHER ASHLEY OR MORRIS FURNITURE AGAIN!!!

Too bad that ZERO is not in the raiting report, because that is what my number would be. To the people that buy from Ashley, sorry people Ashley is the worst furniture store to buy from. Someone needs to put them out of business. The first furniture that we bought from them, couches with warranty and let me tell you don't buy the warranty from them, that warranty SUCKS. We payed too much for the warranty for them to send us a stain remover that costs five to ten dollars. When you call Ashley and tell them that, that's what they did, guess what they tell you, they SUB contract the warranty with another company. That's what they tell you so that you can get off their back. Well guess what guys after a long time time of looking for furniture we have decided to go back to Ashley for a dining room table. The sad thing about is that, that was my wife's VALENTINE'S present. I taught that they would have it ready for that day and they didn't. I asked why they couldn't have it ready for that day, and guess what the employee had said, I don't know if the P.O. would be clear by then. I couldn't even get my wife's Valentine present in time because they have P.O. issues. That's not my fault I'm the customer and I'm paying for an important day and I can't get it in on time. So I spoke with my wife to let her know what was her Valentines present and she said that it was ok for the delay. The delay was going to be seven days. We decided to pick it up instead of paying 99 dollars, at this time guys with this economy we have to save what ever we can, we decided to pick it up. We were told buy the main Ashely furniture finance accountant that they would call us when the furniture is in the warehouse to be picked up, to be honest with don't wait for them to call you call them they are so F____ up in the warehouse outlet. My wife had to call on the next day that they had said that they would call us, guess what they had said that the furniture was in, but we would have to wait for two days, the office was closed. O.K. we waited we went in to pick our furniture, as we go in my wife gives her drivers license, that is what they ask for, they didn't tell us, but a sign does that the wait is 60 minutes, so we waited because we were all excited that we were going to get a new dining room furniture. My wife my two kids and my self. Everyone the Ashley OUTLET in New Braufels is so out of control that EVERYONE at that warehouse needs to be fired except the guy that is loading the truck. He was the only hard worker. This what happened we walk they tell us that they would call us when they are ready AGAIN, well two hours latter people literally outside trying to get the furniture that they have purchased, it was just out of control no supervision at all. My wife spoke with a lady that was returning her furniture back to them and didn't want no business with them for the rest of her live. She paid CASH for her furniture. It was made very HORRIBLE. She showed my wife all the issues with the furniture and let me tell you they way that they made it, it would off been better made in CHINA. She drove an hour to pick and she had to drive an hour to drop it off. WELL people she was not the only one to leave her furniture we were the other ones too. WE canceled ours right then at that moment. We would never ever buy any furniture from Ashley and yes we are going to let family members and friends never to buy anything from Ashley. One thing I have told my wife is we need to report it to BBB and our News company. ONE I HAVE TO SAY, NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY i think that the ones made in CHINA are cheaper, but you don't have to put up with this. I hope that people read the complaints before they go to any ASHLEY stores.

Again Ashley too bad that you dont have a ZERO in place, but that would be my numbers not just one but two. I will contact the BBB and all my news companies and let them know how bad Ashley Outlet Furniture stores are. Yall SUCK. Someone needs to shut them down. Who ever owns Ashley needs to be fired and be bought out maybe from the ROOM STORE, the management their is better.

I bought a leather couch set paying 1800.00 I have had the set for less than 2 years and one of the cushions is unraveling, now they want me to purchase a new cushion for 65.00 what a rip off. Poor quality of furniture, I have ever purchased and I will never buy another piece from them.

I wish I had check out this site before going into Ashley. After searching for the contact number for Corporate Office, this is when I notice everyone going thru the same problem I am. I purchase my furniture on 12-19-2010....i was told I would have my furniture before Christmas......I receive my furniture a couple of days before New Years. I have been trying to get a replacement seat for my dinette set every since. I have made severaly phone calls....first I was told a replacement seat would be send out.....after a couple of days of no seat...i call back and was told seat had just been ship.....after a coupld of days went by(no seat)....i call back again and was told I would get the whole replacement chair.....after a couple of weeks has gone by, i finally talk to person Eric(who sold me the furniture)...who said he would call me back.....it has been 3 days.....no callback yet......I guess I will wright this off as a lost.

This company this thoe worse to deal with. I bought a bedroom set and was told the night stands are on back order and not to worry they should be ready in two weeks. When they brought the bed the rails were broken and had to wait 2 more weeks for new ones. I will say they fixed this issues with no problem just a long wait for something they broke. For the night stands the order was then put on backorder again and had to wait. No one from the company called me by the date told me. I had to call to find out the were put on backorder a third time. I asked them what they felt should be done and they offered me a $200.00 store credit. When I told customer service I did not want that why would I put myself through more stress and never know when I would get what I buy from you she changed her mind and told me it was a Visa gift card I can use anywhere just to get me off the phone and I would get it in 4 to 6 weeks. That time past no card called again and then was told they have never offered Visa gift cards and I had to except the store credit. Customer service hung up on me 4 times informed me each time I called that the managers were in meets could not speak with them. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEYS you do not need the headache.

Eight consecutive weeks I've been given the "Oh, sorry, 'they' forgot to put your bedroom set on the truck...we'll make sure it's on there next week for sure" routine...I mean if you're going to lie at least mix it up a little! I still have not received the set and they refuse to refund my money so I have no other recourse. What an absolute joke, I will never do business there again and to anyone reading this: unless you have the patience to wait three months or more, DO NOT SHOP ASHLEY! Horrible attitudes, culture and service! How the hell this company is still in business defies all logic.

I purchased a recliner from the Montrose Colorado Store on Jan 16, 2011. I was told they would call me when the chair arrived at the store in 3 to 4 weeks. After 5 weeks I called the store to see if the chair had arrived and was told that the chair had been discontinued and I would have to take the floor model which had no warranty. I told them I would not pay full price for a used chair which had no warranty when I had paid for a new chair with a warranty. The store manager (Derek) just laughed at me the whole time I was on the phone. He refused to give me the name of his supervisor. So I have no chair and no refund. In my opinion Ashley simply stole $428. from me. PLEASE BE VERY VERY AFRAID to do business with Ashley Furniture.

I WILL never order from Ashley Furniture again !!!! This furniture store does not value there customers at all !!! Poor service!!! Might I add I have been waiting 3 months on furniture and still dont have it ....

Absolutely do not buy from Ashley Furniture unless you KNOW you are going to keep what you bought! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was sold something for a bed that was not needed and DID NOT FIT the bed I bought, and the store would not let me return it to them. I have to drive an hour out of the way to return it to the warehouse!!

After 1 bad experience we went back to Ashley to look at bedroom furniture. On questioning the size of the bed, salesman assured us he would work with us and the same bad experience wouldn't happen again. WRONG. It was worse with the salesperson making promises that he couldn't do. After we paid cash, almost $1700, we measured and the bed was way too large for the room. Went back to cancel in less than 24 hours and were told at that point the refund would be store credit. At no other time were we told this. Spoke with manager and he had the salesman call my cell phone and left a voice message that the refund would be store credit. We do not want store credit. We want our money back. There is nothing there that we would want to buy at this point. Comparing this to a bad experience like buying a used car. Will not be back at Ashley EVER.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE My boyfriend and I had placed a living room set on layaway as we were soon to be moving into our new house we had built. When I called to make the first payment, they told me no layaway orders were placed because they were going out of business. (As the owner of the Altoona and Johnston stores in PA was going bankrupt) They said we should have been notified. We were not notified by mail or phone call. We waited then closer to our move in date and when we were sure of when we were moving in my boyfriend called Ashley to see how long it would take to get our furniture. They told him on the phone it would be 2 weeks, which timed out to be perfect to move in. By the time we got to the store that evening and actually placed the order, paid in full and were ready to leave, they said it would be 4 weeks. We called and complained and they said we would get it last week, we have not and it will not be here until next week. This is the worst place to buy from and the worst customer service I have ever had. I would not give this piece of shit business another penny of my money. They deserve to be bankrupt and go out of business as they clearly can't run a business. Hopefully the owner loses his house in it as well and DOESN'T have any furniture to sit his fat ass on.

(BIG MISTAKE!)  She paid in cash $4,160 for her furniture on January 20th. She was guaranteed  by the salesperson that it would be delivered to her on February 2nd. After she paid she was told that their computer was down and they would call her to confirm the delivery time later that day. After four days go by still no call she decides to call them. They tell her sorry your furniture is going to be much later than promised. At this point my mother says fine give me my cash back so I can go somewhere else to buy. They say fine. She goes back to store and IS NOT given her cash back. Instead is told we will send you a check and can take up to 21 days. Now has no cash no furniture and no way to buy new furniture! I'm a comedian in Vegas and tell my audiences nightly what a joke Ashley Furniture is. The only good thing that happened from this is I got some new material for my act. By the way she is still waiting for a check...

I will never buy ashley products again. We purchased a sofa sectional and within 3months the material began to stretch out and the cushions would not bounce back into shape after sitting on them. We contacted the store but were told that our 1yr Limited Warranty had expired . Read the warranty and all of the limitations and exceptions would apply to most complaints and or problems with a product sold by them the wording is confusing and the specifics are not clear as to what they will do for you in the event their prodcut fails.

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto!!!!! I bought in November and now it is the middle of February. They have threatened me with re-stocking fees, because I want my money back. My point to them is, if it is made they send it. They promised to take 10% off the price to wait 3 more weeks. I was given a date on Feb. 11th at 1:00pm. I called today and as usual, they are telling me two more weeks. There is NO comunication between who ever is making the products and the stores. Then again, the stores just parrot the same thing over and over again. I really wish I had read this page too before walking into this mess. I will never ever consider buying from them ever! You can bet I will be telling everyone about my expierience and advise this page. It is not worth it. And, it is not normal to wait this long.

I CANNOT BELIEVE I ORDERED FURNITURE ON 09/03/10 AND STILL NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO ABOUT A SIMPLE BED RAIL THAT IS NEEDED FOR A BED I BOUGHT FROM THEM AND ABOUT 5000.00 MORE IN FURNITURE). I AM TOLD WILL BE CALLED BACK, SERVICE TECHS HAVE COME OUT TO FIX THINGS, WAREHOUSE CANNOT DO ANYTHING, AND AFTER MANY MANY PHONE CALLS, I AM STILL RIGHT NOW 02/07/2011 SITTING ON HOLD WAITING ONCE AGAIN FOR A MANAGER. I THING I WILL DRIVE FROM ODESSA TO MIDLAND AND DUMP THE HEADBOARD I BOUGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR STORE!!!!!I AM SO PISSED I WILL NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I have **on video** the store manager saying they don't actually have to deliver the furniture within any timeframe. It's when AND if they choose. They claim my furniture arrived to them damaged...however, they also stated they never had 3 pieces available. Selling stuff they don't have and likely won't have is FRAUD!
