Ashley, this has been one of the worst purchasing experence we have ever gone through. We have had this sofo less than 2 years. There has appears to be a fault in the leather. Guardsmen Protection Plan said it was a manf. problem and nothing they could do. Contacted the Winston Salem NC store, they said it was over a year. We even asked if they could repair it at our cost. They said no. What kind of bus. do they opperate. We had plan to purchase a bed.room funiture, not now! Sorry we did with you ! Donnie Pollard
Get a clue, not one 5 star rating!! or even a 2 star... I'm not even going to brother writing my horrible experence just read all the others and thats is what happened to us, problem is what good does writing this do? Ashley furniture does not care.. as long as suckers like me keep throwing money away on ashley furniture product and services. I think I will go and stand outside the store and yell don't go in! its a money trap and give them copies of the reviews!!!
Worst shopping experience. Do not buy from this company ever. Took over 8 weeks to get my daughters bed. And ark have not recieved it. Management were not helpful they were absolutely rude. Save yourself a headache and maybe a possible trip to jail . Stay as far away from a ashley store as possible, run the other direction.
This is the worse store to purchase anything from!!! The beds are beautiful, but the products are horrible! Don't be deceived. The items are not made well, and will break within months after purchase. I wish this could go on the cover of USA today! I repeat....... dont buy anything from any of their stores. The customer service is terrible, and the managers are trained to defend the negativity! Do not end up in the situation I am in! My couch has lost it's form, and my bed is broken! Both are Ashley furniture products!
I will never buy from Ashley's again. From the sales person to to the delivery of there horrible products has been a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I wish I had read the message boards before I shopped there. I purchased a table & 6 chairs. The table top was cracked & 1 chair had a nail bulging out of it. I tried customer service with no satisfaction. I called the store & even the manager won't return my calls. I don't know what to do next.
Whole company needs improvement in customer relation. I can sense irritability on all person i talked to regarding an inquiry about purchasing for a hospital entity. I've been trying to get some information for 3 weeks that was not going anywhere. That turned me off from buying from any of your furniture retailers now and in the future. Rude staff.
Im never going to buy from Ashley again and what ever you do don't use GE money there the biggest joke you send your bill 2 week ahead of time and get a late fee and give you some bull shit reason like well it must of got lost in the mail not only happened one time but two time and my bill was like 35 a mouth which sound it all good but since i got a late fee my bill has interest on it in-tell i pay off 100 some odd droller's to get it back on track which was not my fault to-begin with im really thinking about calling a lawyer Ive reed so many other people getting screwed by them too and if they wanna do business with them there bot going to do business with me
I agree with the complaints 100%, I purchase a sleeper sofer from Ashley Furniture in Woodbridge VA, Worst piece of leather furniture, after a couple of months the leather cushions starts peeling, the store gave me the run around, after threating the store, they had more seat cushions delivered. within three months those peel. The furniture in my home is well taken care of there's no one to abuse my furniture. Ashley furniture is not good quality. but its pricely. dont buy from Ashley furniture, with the way the economy is today, money is too hard to come by to throw it away on crap furniture. As consumers we need to stop buying from them and maybe they will go out of business.
I would warn anyone thinking of purchasing furniture from Ashley furniture to go elsewhere. This company is a disgrace!!!!!! It has been the worst experience of my life dealing with these people. Who by the way hire convicted felons and drug users. So, your order is messed up from the beginning. Also the Baybrook store in friendswood texas is not helpful at all. They lie to you give you floor model furniture but charge you for new furniture. Then when you contact the supervisors not onsite to that store you just get lied to again and promised that they will do something, and never do. so, if you would like to have to argue everyday with someone and get no results then this is the store for you. There professionalism is non existent. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!!
We too are awaiting the delivery of a chair we ordered from a furniture store in Fredericksburg, VA. The maker Ashley furniture company. We were told the chair was on back order, but should be availble in 6 weeks. Each time I call to see if the chair is ready we are told the date have been pushed back. We purchased the chair in March and are now being told we might get the chair by the 27th of June, but it will probably get pushed back again. I will never again order anything made by Ashley Furniture company and will tell all family and friends to do the same.

False Information !!!! , & Customers Like All Of Us Being Treated With Disrespect !!!!' We Purchased A Sofa Set W/ Additional Tables & Lamps 2009 In San Antonio , Texas . It Was A Gift For Our Son As They Claimed At The Time Of The Sale That It Was All Leather , But It Became Embarrassing From The Start . The Delivery Was Not Complete . The Reason Was It Had No Legs on None & They Claimed It Was In The Side Pouches , But They Were Wrong . Aside Of The Scatches or Cut When ThreDelivery Guys Open The Boxes .We Made The Call To Replace All The Delivery . Then.... The Second Delivery Came Again The Glass Tables Were Scatched & the Sofa Set Came Wrapped Tightly In Plastic . When They Yook Everything Offfier The Sofa , It Had Creases ( Like Lines When You Iron A Pair of Pants & The Line Is On There . I Asked What Those Lines Were About . The Delivery Guys Ssid; it's Ghe Design ... Well As The Months Went By The Lines Desded To Distich Along The Line . I Called Again . They Made Excuse After Excuse As The Year Grew Closer then They Said ; They Would Not Replace It Cuz Yjey Contacted Me & Our Phone Was Disconnect It ( I've Had That Line For 5 Years , Then They Said ; That They Came To My Sons House & No- One Was There ,( But If They Were Tgere & Missed Us They Would Have Left A Note Cuz The. House Did Not Move , Nor Did We ) & A Letter Was Never Sent That They Missed Up To Rescidule The Date For Replacement ... Call After , Call That We Have Made . I Think We Should All Pull Together & Request A Form From The Attorney Generals Office & Report These So Call Owners Of Ashley's Furniture !!! And Stop Buying Their Cheap Merchandise That Is Disposable That Only Last In A Matter Of Months . The Best Thing To Do Is Go To The Media ,Write To The Attorney General's Office & Or File A Law Suit !!! I Will Never Buy From Them Again . I'd Rather Buy What Last More Than 2 Years . & Their Management Is A Disaster In Itself ( The Owners Outta Listen To Their Recordings . That's Why A Place Like That Needs To Be Closed , Period!
Same as others...I have been waiting for five weeks with everything in the warehouse except our Simmons Mattress set. I will never buy anything from Ashley again. Wish I had researched its reputation prior. Like others, I paid in full with nothing in return so far. Ashley Furniture, Wichita Falls, OK.
Ashley Furniture Store has been a huge disappointment. They are incompetent and useless. I ordered a chaise. It was 8 weeks before the delivery date. They did not call me ahead of time to let me have any idea of what date or timeframe. I just happened to check my messages and work (which I usually don't do) and saw that they had been calling because they were there with the delivery. I rushed out of work (not an easy task) for the delivery, and it was a recliner. So, they took that back and I had to go through all kinds of crap over the phone about this!! Too many idiotic details to go through here!!! In the end, they were supposed to deliver me the correct furniture in 8 MORE WEEKS with some money taken off of the original order. So, after 8 weeks, they delivered the WRONG FURNITURE again!!!!!!! More phone calls. I take notes about who I am speaking with on the phone. I had one girl Kaitlyn that even lied about talking to me. I had talked to her fifteen minutes before the second conversation. She said she would call me right back after talking to the warehouse. When she did't call, I called her. She said she did not remember having a conversation with me and that there was no record of it!!!! What are they teaching their employees to do???? This is the most horrible customer service!!!!!! I still don't have any information or answers about my wrong delivery. Everyone keeps saying they will call me back, but they never do. PPPPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE, don't ever buy anything from this company. You can't get anywhere with them and they all have alzheimers, even though they all sound like they are 16.
Buying Ashley was the worst experience. I purchase a sofa bed from Unclaimed Furniture, Duncan, SC and what a nightmare! They called to state the furniture arrived when I went to the store they stated they did not have the furniture. Upon looking on the floor the couch was there unwrapped with my name on the tag. Couch was brought home within 3 months we noticed the one side was sinking. Upon further looking the frame to the bed was broken. I called the store, they came out to repair. The couch sat unused for several months. A relative who weighed under 120 lbs used the bed. Again, same area the frame was broken. I called the store and because it was out of warranty they no longer were able to help. After a round about conversation, they finally came and repair. Again, the couch sat unused. A friend came out and used the bed for his little 5 year old 40 lb daughter. Within 3 days again the same area was broken. This time I called the HQs of Ashely directly and spoke with Andrew. He was rude and very unconcerned that I was having issues. He stated there was nothing he can on his level that it was a store level issue. This was my first and last experience with Ashely furniture. They are poorly made and when you have issues customer service seems to want to pass the ball to others without correcting the problem.
I HAVE PURCHASED PROBABLY THE WORST LIVING ROOM FURNITURE IN THE WORLD AND TO KNOW AVAIL HAVE NOT HAD ANY REPROCUSSIONS FROM ASHLEY OR THE STORE WHERE I RURCHASED IT. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND ASHLEY FURNITURE TO ANYONE. I am not getting through to a real person on any of the customer service phne numbers. I waited forever on each number I called and never got through. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.
I bought a leather couch from Ashley Furniture and a staple came out the top. I had the warranty service and the guy came out pulled out the staple and left a hole. He said that the office would be calling me. We never received a call to this day. When i called in the sec stated the case had been closed as the staple and the ensuing hole were not manufacturing defects??????? I went to the store and asked for help. I received a call from the store person that says in my customer file that all calls are to go to the boss of the department. FUNNY I called 3 times and he was always to busy to take my call. I left my number and he never called. HMMMMM how do you suppose that is to work LESSON TO LEARN: DO NOT SHOP ASHLEY FURNITURE

My rating is very poor not only for a sale services, but also for treating by Ashleys Furniturs in New Jersey salesmen person. I have information so last week( before Memorial Day 2011)my friend didn't have pay for his work,a sale of $10,000.00 furniture set.He is a new person working for Asheys and on first paycheck is missing %5.4 on this particular sale = $600.00. How to trust Ashley Furniture Corporate Offices and management? Wher is honesty, America!, in Ashleys? How my friend will pay his bills working for this store? Bayer did not return enything, but magically someone alse in store maked A MISTAKE and in result EVERY EXCUSE was created to not to pay my friend.
I have been very upset with Ashley Furniture HomeStore. I returned defective furniture, was to be issued a refund just under $2000.00. This was in 2008 and still to this date no refund. I have been unable to get satisfaction from anyone that I have contacted. But I am going to continue. Will never shop Ashley again.
