I just the worst experience ever dealing with Ashley Furniture location in Sugar Land, TX. Our furniture showed up damaged and the delivery forced my wife to accept it anyway. The store insisted that I take a rug and lamps home so it could secure the sale in case I would have an experience this this. They have been refusing to take the furniture back and seems to be very rude each time I have to deal with a different person. I have been a customer since graduating from college in 1991, but never again. I'm going to "Rooms-to-Go" from now on!!!! The service at Ashley was beyond horrible!
I purchased over $5000 worth of furniture with them and was planning to spent more than that to furnish my new house I had the worse experience with their customer handling. I am surprised with all the comments I read about them they are still in business. I am sure it just takes once to do business with them and that would be it. Unfortunately I never researched about them before making my purchase. The sad part is I left 5 messages for the store manager in Sterling VA and have not received any call back. Since their phone even while open for business goes to the voicemail that says they are closed because it’s after hour which is not the case, I called their Wood bridge number and talked to their manager who sounded very nice and helpful. He said he will call Jeremy the manger on his cell phone and will make sure that he will call me back. No response yet. I will NEVER go pass by their store and highly discourage any one else to give them business as well.
ASHLEY FURNITURE SUCKS ASS!! PURCHASED A SECTIONAL WHICH WAS DELIVERED WITH THE WRONG CONFIGURATION EVEN AFTER LITERALLY DRAWING THEM A DIAGRAM. THE MANAGER ARGUED WITH ME TELLING ME I WAS WRONG AND THAT THE CONFIGURATION WAS RIGHT AND SENT THE EXACT SAME INCORRECT CONFIGURATION AGAIN!!!! SO NOW THEY ARE SHIPPING FOR THE THIRD TIME!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.
HA! ABSOLUTE WORST!! CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE TO REPORT AN ISSUE AND THEY TOLD ME ITS BETWEEN ME AND THE SALES REP WHO SOLD ME THE ITEM!!!! WORST EVER!!
I have never dealt with a company who has not been able send a complete order. We have bought a bedroom suite from their Austin southpark meadow store and not only were they able to not deliver the complete bedroom suite but only delivered part of it but when the bed came in some 2 1/2 weeks later they did not have the slats that go in the frame, so now they inform us we will have to wait another 10 days for them to be got from the factory. This is totally unacceptable to me, if you pay the price we did , you should be able to have complete and total parts for anything you purchase and if not then they should be able to provide necessary parts in a shorter time frame. I cannot believe that the factory is so inept that they do not check their shipments before they are sent. I will not be purchasing anything from them again if this is the service we are to expect,also I cannot in good faith recommend them to any of my friend or aquaintances. Never again would I deal with this store
I am very very dissatisfied with the customer service and professionalism of these people!! I don't recommend Ashley to anybody!!! A scam a joke and a total rip off!!!
D'ont,dont,dont buy anything from ashley furniture,the worst service ever seen, if you do buisness with them,you'll regret it the rest of your life.i was lied by the sales person and his manager,delevered half of the marchandiz and charged me full price for it. NEVER,NEVER AGAIN AH! the otherthing is when you call'm .They'll put you on HOLD for HOURS.
I went to the Ashley furniture store in Plymouth Meeting today to buy a new kitchen table and living room furniture. My sister and her husband tagged along. I dealt with what I thought was a very nice and helpful salesman's named JACK. He was great. After shopping for awhile - I decided to come back with my husband. I asked JACK for his business card, he said he would write the prices down for me. My brother-in-law started questioning JACK about the prices. The furniture is for our summer home. We wanted a sofa bed. All the sofa beds were priced $100 more than just a plain sofa, except for the one I was interested in - the difference was $326 more. My brother-in-law said that's crazy. Why such a different. JACK said that's what it is - nothing we can do about it. My brother-in-law said you could lose a sale with the price being so much higher - at that point JACK took the business card "I" requested, ripped it in half, through it in the trash and walked away. My brother-in-law was not buy the furniture, I was. I was the one who asked for the business card, not him. So JACK turned out to be not so nice after all. I’m disappointed and shocked that Ashley Home Furniture Store would hire such an A$$. I’ll never go back there again.
Like everyone else, I bought furniture three months ago with a promise of getting it in six weeks. No furniture as of yet. I called them they keep telling me they are waiting on one item to complete the order it will just be a couple of more weeks. I finally went to the store I purchased the furniture from to see if I could get better answers in person. All I was told was it would be another six weeks they were waiting on one item. Well I wrote a letter to the corporate office. I guess nobody cares if you get what you ordered or not. They already have your money and will not refund it. They should be put out of business.
If I could give zero stars I would. Placed an order for a Jewelry Cabinet and when it arrived the front part of the drawer that secures this with the top of the cabinet was completely off from frame. Staples were hanging out and could have been a health issue. When I emailed about the damaged merchandise I got a nasty email stating I had to take pictures and than go from there. It states customers might have to not that we have to because not everyone even has a computer let along a digital camera or been obligated to send a picture by mail. I am not upset about the fact things can happen with merchandise but it is clear this cabinet was already messed up and stored in a warehouse and no one bothered to write on this box the merchandise was damaged. It is the way customer service treated this order with so little regard for the fact they sent me damaged merchandise. My husband and I sealed the box up and didn't want to look any further since it was obvious this item had to be sent back. I would have reordered the same item but after the horrible customer service with them I have already ordered this cabinet from another store that I have had good luck with the merchandise plus pleasant sales people to work with and even though they may not be the best on prices ,paying a little more for good merchandise and good service and pleasant people to work with is certainly worth paying extra instead of sarcastic rude people like Ashley Deals on line. At first I was expected to pay to have this furniture sent back and upon arrival of the furniture Ashley deals would than give me back my money so I filed with the BBB and told them of the damaged merchandise and how customer service treated me . So than still a nasty email but stating for me to have the damaged box out for pick up but this person went on about making nasty insults and I didn't even respond to his email. these people need to have training on how to treat customers and I am surprised they are still in business. It is one of the worst stores with arrogant , sarscatic rude people and to be called a liar about sending something back just for the heck of it and I agree with other customers this is the worst customer service with treating customers that give business to them and not care about how they approach and accuse the customer of being wrong when damaged merchandise is sent out. People don't waste your time dealing with Ashley Deals . Pay a little more for good service and I have gotten good service from other furniture stores plus good merchandise but also good pleasant people to work with. It takes all kinds of people to run a business and ashley deals has to have the bottom of that list of rude sarcastic and arrogant employees and yes I still order on line and will continue but rest assured never from Asley Deals and listen up people you don't want to deal with this store. My biggest mistake is not looking at the comments about this store and having to go through all I did in order for Ashley Deals to pay to have the damaged cabinet sent back to them Yes, they wanted me to take this large damaged cabinet to the post office or Ups and pay to ship it back and it took writing the BBB and filing a dispute with my bank to get them to agree to pay for the damaged item but not without rude sarcastic and nasty comments that nothing was wrong with the cabinet. Stay clear of Ashley Deals.
Concerning the Victoria, Texas Ashley Store. After I submitted my last negative comment I continued to go round and round with the warehouse folks about my order last week. Talked to the assistant manager who placed my order and also the store manager Tammy. My delivery date (to my home) is supposed to be Monday 7-11-2011. They told me they have a third party delivery company that they would contact me on Sunday 7-10-2011. I did not belive anyone was going to contact me on Sunday. We went round and round. The asst. manager and manager guaranteed me I would be contacted today. Well here I sit at 7:35pm. No call giving me the delivery time window. Now what am I to do. I have been sarcastic in response to the store's "no big deal" attitude. They dont care how unhappy and frustrated their customers are. How am I supposed to get help resolving my issues? We bought a sofa and loveseat from Ashley Homestore in Sterling Il. They repaired the the sofa the first month because of gaps in the furniture. the love seat was totally replaced in the second month. I have never bought furniture that has not lasted for a least 8-10 years. It has been a little over a year and the reclining mechanisms do not work,the stuffing is flat and one of the seats the padding has rolled all the way to the back of the seat. We were then told that Ashley does not make furniture to last more than 2 years. COME ON with the economy the way that it is that is just totally ridiculous. We are still under warrenty, but have to pay for labor to have anything fixed. At this point the furniture is not worth putting another cent into it. We even bought the extra insurance, but of course that was totally useless also. Be careful buying from this company no Integrity what so ever. All about making money not customer satisfaction. I wonder how many return customers they have?
4/29/2011 My wife and I purchased a full bedroom set from this store from the girl with dark hair (fiance of store operations or general manager) We received in writing that it would take 4-6 weeks. We were not told that until after the entire transaction was complete. Had I known that I probably would have not bought it as I am an instant gratification type of guy....I want it now. After about 5 weeks I called and asked when I will see my furniture. They assured me it would only be about 2-3 more weeks. This pretty much ticked me off but we decided to just wait. Here I am 7/6/2011 with no furniture!! I call and call and call and get the most rediculous stories each time. Around 6/4 they told me that my order was held up because of one piece that was not ready and that they would do a "split shipment" so I could get averything else. They said they would be calling to set up a time soon. About a week later I called back and was told the exact same thing. The lady told me that she was not sure why the "split shimpent" never processed before but that she would take care of it and call me to confirm a delivery date soon. That was two weeks ago. I called last week and was told that due to the flooding in Mississippi, my furniture had not shipped!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! I misplaced thier number so I searched for it and found these reviews. I have been sick to my stomache literally all night thinking that i will be sure ripped off. I paid cash for half and financed the rest. I have already made two payments on this to the lender, GE money. I canot get any manager to call me back and when I ask for one they are always busy. If I hold for one I get hung up on. I called 4 times the other day and I swear someone picked up the line and hung up all 4 times! I called from another phone within the same minute and someone picked up. The more frustrated I get with them the more they get with me. I feel like I have been ripped off and I very very upset right now! I may go down this weekend and demand all of my money back. I read the agreement and it is pretty solid. Why did I not read it before buying? I thought it was a Big coorporate store and I was not even woried about it. Has anybody filed suite against these people? I saw the owner get on here a BS some people, saying that they are constanlty trying to improve thier business. He also said he wanted honest critisism...well here you go bro, If you were really trying to improve your business and keep your customers satisfied, you would deliver on your end of our deal and have my furniture at my house 8 weeks ago. You would also make sure that your Managers called me to let me know what is going on without a bunch of tall tales. You should be ashamed of yourself for treating all of these people like this. These could have been repeat customers!! How has the corporate Ashley store not had you put out of business??? BUYERS BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE Go anywhere but here CAN ANYBODY OFFER UP SOME ADVICE ON HOW TO EITHER GET MY FURNITURE OR GET MY MONEY BACK?? Even though I have paid the finance company already.... Oh yeah...I would give no stars if I could too.

These people have ripped me off. They took my money over 4 months ago and I have no furniture. The store I bought from just changed owners and they will not give me my money. They just say they are trying to get my furniture.....then they asked me what I ordered again...:( I need a good laywer.
The lowest star option is 1. They are far below that! 1 month and still waiting. Dont expect customer care or the delivering warehouse to be of any help either. So much conflicting info coming from store, customer care, and warehouse that I am convinced my order has not even been placed yet! They could at least coordinate their lies! Hopefully you are reading this BEFORE you purchase from Ashley Furniture!
MY RATING FOR ASHLEYS IS 0 VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE MELBOURNE STORE. THE EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE TRAINED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION. I PURCHASED ITEMS TOTALING 2500.00 AND DID NOT RECIEVE MY ITEMS ON THE DATE SCHEDULED, NOR DID AN ASSOCIATE CALL TO SAY I WOULD NOT BE GETTING IT. i CANCELLED HALF THE ORDER AND RECIEVED A BILL AND LATE PAYMENTS FOR THE TOTAL. i SPOKE WITH SEVERAL ASSOCIATES AND THE MANAGER WHOM SAID THAT THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE BILL THAT THEY DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS BILLED FOR ONE FURNITURE I DID NOT RECIEVED AND TWO FURNITURE THAT I CANCELLED. GE MONEY CONTINUES TO CALL FOR PAYMENTS AND ASHLEYS ASSOCIATES KEEP SAYING THEY TOOK CARE OF IT. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS. NOW I DONT EVEN WANT WHAT I DO HAVE BECAUSE I'M BEING BILLED FOR 2500.00 AND I ONLY HAVE 650.00 OF A BILL THAT ASHLEY REFUSE TO FIX.THE OTHER FURNITURE WILL BE DELIVERED BACK TO ME IF THEY CANT SETTLE MY ACCOUNT. I SHOULD NOT BE PAYING LATE PAYMENTS ON FURNITURE THAT I DID NOT RECIEVE OR CANCELLED OR EVEN MAKE A PAYMENT ON SOMETHING I DONT HAVE. I WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE MY SERVICES BACK TO ROOMS TO GO WHERE MY BUSINESS MEAN SOMETHING AND CAN RECIEVE PROMPTNESS..
Ashley furniture has the worst customer service I have ever encounter. I have been waiting for a month to get my furniture which I paid un full. They delivered my bedroom set which was incomplete. They told me I would get the rest with in a week and I have not received anything, not even a call. I would advice anyone not to purchase anything from Ashley's furniture.
we have never had such poor customer service. This staff at Ashley Furniture is only nice when your making a purchase, after they have your money they could care less about customer satisfaction. It was impossible to get the furniture delivered and then when it was delivered it was damaged. It then took an act of congress to try to set up a new delivery or get a refund. I have never experienced such poor customer service. We wish more people would read the reviews and not be subjected to the poor service as we have recieved from Ashley Furniture.
DO NOT SHOP FROM ASHLEY. The furniture is CHEAP and is not good quality. The warranty they offer is horrible and does not cover anything.
