I bought an 1800 matress from Ashley Furniture in November. Of course like everyone else I didn't get it until March. This morning I woke up and felt like the matress was sunken in... Sure enough the whole side was bulging and the matress is BROKEN!I weigh 125lbs, so it's not me. After spending an hour on the phone trying to talk to someone.. the guy said they would send a man out in 3 weeks to "take a look" at it, and that they don't even carry this brand anymore! They told me that they aren't resposible, but that they would take a look and try to help! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN, ITS BEEN NOTHING BUT A DAMN HEADACHE~!!
I ordered and paid for 5 support bars for a King bedroom set I bought there. I slept on the couch for 3 weeks weeks waiting for their arrival. When the box came, I arranged for someone to come put it together for me. When we opened the box, there were only 2 supports in the box. I have been back to the store twice and called twice and been promised by the manager and others that it was being taken care of. It has not. Customer service is not their strong point, never mind the fact that they can't even put in an order correctly.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. ASHLEY FURNITURE ARE A DISGRACE TO THE USA.
STOP!!!!!! Don't do it! Do not spend your hard earned cash with Ashley, even if they do have a great incentive promotional going at the time. My husband and I have fallen victim to several sets of crappy furniture over the years that we have purchased from our Navy Exchange. We like it in the store but when we get it home it starts falling apart rather quickly and we are back to buying another set. This time we decided we would not purchase from the NEX because perhaps they get stuff of lesser quality. Ashley was running a great promotion; purchase over 2400 dollars in furniture and get no finance charge for 5 years!! Sounds great, right? Off to Ashley's we went, spent over 3 hours touring the store checking out the furniture, coming back to the same pieces after checking out others and realls spening quality time picking out what we wanted. After picking exactly what we wanted it was another hour for the guys to do the paper work and finally get us out of there, with the promise of our furniture being delivered in 2 weeks. It was delievered in 2 weeks; however, 2 of the four pieces we purchased came in with scratched leather and even a few punctures in the leather. We kept the two pieces that were in great condition and refused the other two. I marked on their paper work what the issues were and that I wanted a Rep. to call me to let me know when I would have my new pieces. I never got a call. Nobody ever called me to schedule another delivery. I called the sales guy at Ashley's that sold us the furniture, he said he would call the warehouse and see when we would receive our furniture. When he called but he told me I would have them in 3 days!!!! Wow! That's great, but still, why hadn't anyone called me??? Delivery day.......they guys bring in the first piece of furniture and place it on front of my very large windows where the sun was brightly shining in. While checking the piece over I realize the MOTHER F-ERS sent the same piece back out after trying to repair the leather with a yellow sticky substance that came no where close to the brown leather. I became quite pissed! Are they serious? They are going to try and repair the chair and send it to me!!!! NO WAY!!! I told the guys to get it out of my house and put it back on the truck. I could not believe Ashley's would treat us this way; they have our money but won't give us proper customer service. The delivery guy showed me the second piece and wanted to know if it was acceptable. I'll be quite honest, at this point I was seeing red! I could not focus on that chair because I was so mad I told them to load it up too! After they left we went to Ashley's store and talked with, funny enough, a manager named Ashely. He acted like he cared. Said it would be another few weeks until the furnture came. He also said that since the one chair was now on clearance he would give us a price match. When he came back he said he couldn't because we took the 5 year deal. He said he would have corporate mail us a 100 dollar gift certificate to use in the store on anything we wanted at no minimum price. We left there feeling like we had just been told they were shoving a rod up our ass and we had to deal with it. So today, several weeks later, we still don't have the gift certificate, duh! But our 2 pieces were delivered for the 3rd time. They brought one piece in, I checked it out really well and it was acceptable. They went to the truck to get the second piece; while they did that I checked the first piece out a little better. Who in their right mind would think that a very minute rub mark on brown leather could be covered up with black marker and I wouldn't notice!!??!! Really? That is how they are treating customers? Appauling! The second piece was in good condition. I pointed the marker out to the guys but told them I would be keeping the piece. The rub mark was smaller that the tip of a pinky nail and would hardly have been noticeable, but black marker!!! Come on guys. We will be contacting corporate about the issues we have been having, by the sounds of all the stories here we won't accomplish anything but we have to try. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY'S!!!! THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAM ARTISTS!!!!
FUCK ASHLEYS. IDK why you have to give them a star. U pay all the money for furniture and once they have ur money they treat u like garbage. I say save your money and time and shop else where. Its August and I am still waiting on Furniture to be fixed that I orded in March. The customer service is the worst.

Delivery. Ashley promised to deliver furniture purchased on 8/7 before 1 p.m. Called at 1 due to furniture not arriving and was told it was scheduled to be delivered on 8/8, but all invoices indicate 8/7 delivery. Called store manager (Bob) at the Colton store who was worthless and did not attempt to reschedule or take care of issue. We are contacting corporate office on Monday, but I dont hold my breath.
I will never, never set foot into an ashley furniture store( Brice Road -Columbus Ohio). The first time I went into an Ashley store. I walked around for 1 hour before anyone offered to help me. Only one person even came and aske "May I help you?" that was on my way out the door. The old people they had in there were rude, ignorant and snubby. If you don't look as if you have money they won't wait on you. I even sent my neice to that store, as she was looking for a bedroom suit for her daughter, they did not even wait on her. So now we are going to got to Kittles or some other store. We refuse to spend a dime in an aSHLEY FURNITURE STORE. I just live around the corner from this store. THAT IS THE LAST TIME I WILL EVER GO THERE .
The rating is not 1 star. I couldn't choose a negative number. I can't believe that Ashley furniture gets away with this. I purchsed a sofa/recliner and was told I would get a call for delivery. I was not told it would be 4-5 weeks when I purchased. I just moved from another state and don't have living room furniture. I would have purchased something immediately available had I known. And they won't let you cancel the order. Anyone know of a class action suit? I'm going to report them to the BBB for sure.
OMG The worst customer service , please please before you want to Purchase furniture from them think many times , they have the worst follow ulama nothing except Sham on you Ashley furniture . I purchased end of June bedroom setand sofa & lovesit from Burbank in California store Sure enough they are very pleasant when they want to make a deal but after that do not even try to reach them because is impossible . Anyway after while I try to clean my bedroom set all the color came out completely when I called service For sending Technition it is a nightmare , I had tears in my eyes , frustrated and helpless I called customer service forget it I called their headquarter forget it ?!!!! Sham sham sham I don't believe I am in America ?!!!!!! If I knew your quality and service I wouldn't even pass bye any of your store !!!!!!! I HAVE talked to the dealer and he said it’s YOUR fault, ASHLEY FURNITURE is who keeps changing their delivery date, so apparently the consumer orders something, you and the retailer get our money and then you both point fingers at each other stating it’s the other person I need to talk be speaking with about my problem. We purchased a bedroom set at the Ashley Store in West Melbourne Florida on April 17, 2011. As of todays date, 105 days later, I still do not have my mattress, nor comforter set. The bed was delivered with damage to one of the rails at the bottown and has not been replaced. My husband and I paid $7541.00 in cash and now as we are going into August 2011, the employees at this store do not have any definite idea as to when any of this will be delivered, nor has the damage to the bed been resolved. I know that you will probably delete this post for you do not want the bad publicity, but you need to put a fire under this stores behind. We came down in April, leased a house, and were told all would be here by July 1st when we came back down to stay. I have had back surgery and hip replacement. They delivered a loaner mattress, a sealy bluestone extra firm, which is like laying on concrete. I was told by an employee, Mindy, that this is the cheapest of your mattresses. My husband and I ordered the sealy embody, due to my surgeries. I am so disgusted with your store here in Melbourne. I will never purchase another item from Ashley Furniture. This has taught me a huge lesson. When you pay with cash, you get the shaft. I sent corporate headquarters an email over a month ago, with no response. Sounds to me like from the top down, none of you care about your customers. If this issue isn't resolved by the 14th day of August we are bringing a lawsuit against Ashley Furniture for breaxch of contract. By that date 17 weeks will have passed and 119 days since we made our purchase. In my way of looking, that is more than ample time to have all my items setting here in my bedroom. I also had to go out and buy another mattress so that my husband and I could have somewhere to sleep. What a joke this store is and if you are their headquarters, you should have done something about this situation. Mine of course isn't the only complaint and I am most certain headquaters knows this.
Ashley furniture is the worst in the world to do business with. The salesperson and manager in Midland, Texas, are liars!! I would never recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Most of the staff could star in a gangland video. They are rude and unprofessional.
i bought furniture here in puerto rico. i have been lied too and missing furniture without notice. corporate does not care because independent dealers but they take my money.... interesting? i have a lot of money to spent and in the future it will not be ashley
Ashley furniture has the worst customer service, I purchased a sofa along with many other items over the years, Two months after the warranty expires on the love seat and couch the back of the sofa splits in several places. The customers service supervisor informs that there is nothing that they can do and if I wanted it repaired that I would have to pay for the repairs myself. As much money as you spend with them and the loyalty you have with them you would think that they would come up with some way to say YES I can help you. What happened to backing your product. I ask the supervisor for the president's email address so that I could share my concerns and disappointment, she lied and told me the only corporate address she could give me was located in Fairbourne OH. I guess she thought they would be able to intecept this complaint. NOT!! . I will never shop at Ashley's again.
I moved to puerto rico and i was promised that the drive will speak english because i am learning to speak spanish. Is was not true and I did not got my furniture as promised...why can't we have the corporate phone number the telephone on the internet is a lie also...................i have still have a lot of furniture to buy and ashley just lost my future business....
Don't ever buy merchandise from Ashley furniture. I live in Puerto Rico and is the same as in US. The merchandise was deliver with damages two times in a row. Actually the second time they say the merchandise was new and was actually the same merchandise of the first delivery. The service is really bad and you can never find the manager. Never accept the merchandise if one of the items is damage. Return everthing. If not you will waiting forever. And never accept a merchandise and then call a technician to repair the furniture. I will tell everyone I know to never buy from this store, ever! And will also call the radio so this information reach all the public. Puertorriquñeos no compren en Ahsley. La mercancia llego danada dos veces corridas. La segunda vez entregaron la mercancia que se devolvio la primera vez, y aseguraban era nueva. El servicio es bien malo y nunca aparece el gerente. Nunca acepten una entrega donde una de las pieza este danada. Devuelvan todo. Y nunca acepten una mercancia para luego llamar al tecnico para que repare. Le voy a informar a todo el que conozco que nunca compren en esta tienda. Tambien voy a hacerlo publico a traves de la radio.
