Ashley Furniture is a peice of junk!!! I purchased a bedroom set from them and got it delivered when they said, they make you purchase an extended warranty because the furnature falls apart. After $3850.00 of a purchase and 3 weeks of owning it the rails break on a king size bed and im waiting a week already just for a phone call back from these idiots!!! I am so mad bout this!!!! but at the end of the day they received their money up front. I would never suggest anyone to buy anything there..... ASHLEY FURNITURE SUCK!!!!!

I am writing in reference to the Ashley Furniture Homestore in Albuquerque, NM. First I would like to say that the sales person at this store was very helpful and nice, sorry you work for such an awful company. However, the customer service and delivery side of this store is HORRIBLE. I have bought furniture and other items for many years and I have never had such poor customer service. Furniture bought on 10/2/11 promised delivery on 10/10 no call, no show; I call the customer service on 10/10/11 and was told the sofa was in but the recliner had not yet come in was due in on 10/11/11 and earliest delivery date would be on 10/14/11. I said ok. Called on 10/12/11 to inquire about the 3 hour window for delivery which was 10:45 - 1:45. Today is 10/14/11 and yes you guessed right... NO DELIVERY. I live in a gated community but the gate is open from 8:00 am til 6:00 pm. I called and was told that the driver rang the gate and no one answered, this is a lie, then it changed to the driver buzzed the office and no one was there, this is a lie. I was then told by customer service that it was my fault as she had called and I did not answer my phone and she left a message. I called her back and this was at 1:40 pm and I said well when you go to the bathroom to ---- do you take a phone, she said she probably would, another insulting lie. I am going to the store this afternoon and I want all my money back today. They were quick to take the money but can not follow through with their promises. I do not want anything else ever to do with this furniture company. There are way too many other furniture stores in Albuquerque, NM who I know would be glad to have my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS RAN BY LIARS.

I worked at Ashley furniture in Las Cruces NM for five years. I noticed the quality of their product drop to an all time low. Many of my customers expressed how disappointed they were with their furniture. Well I know how they feel since I too purchased furniture from Ashley before I resigned from the company. I am now on my second set of leather because they had to take the first set back and refund my money. Shame on me for purchasing the second set of leather from Ashley. I bought it in February 2011 and it is now October 2011 and this set is losing the pigment or color just like the other set did. Ashley told me to bring it in and they would dye and polish it because the factory rep in El Paso said that was all they could do for me. Well it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know what will happen. My advice to all you potential furniture customers is Pay a little more for a better product. And don’t buy any furniture made by Ashley.

Hello, I purchased a brown sectional for my new home, from Ashley furniture. The delivery guys tore the back of the sectional when they were bringing it through the front door. I noticed it as soon as they were leaving and had them to state that on the receipt before they left. I immediately called the store for a service request.. they said someone would get back with me. No one has EVER CALLED US BACK... no service call follow up....NOTHING. It almost will be a year since I've had my furniture and the warranty will be expired soon. Ashley furniture dont give a damn about the furniture once u get it. I've called at least six times, and still haven't rec'd a response....that is not exceptable.... I feel as thou I shouldn't have to pay another dime for this furniture BECAUSE I am one DISATIFIED customer. My husband and I spent quite a bit of money in the Catonsville, MD store. I would never recommend anyone to shop at that store. The customer service department needs some training.

I wish I would've read these others first! I'm so tempted to send this bed back. I've not received my screws after countless attempts to do so. The delivery team is the worst ever. My salesperson was great and the manager who tried to help me get the screws was great too but after dealing with delivery. That takes the cake. I promise, I'll never purchase anything from Ashley again. As a matter of fact, after I post my experience on Facebook, I just might create an "My Ashley Furniture Experience" page. Hmmm...not a bad idea!!!

I purchase furniture three weeks ago. I was given a incorrect date for delivery. I called the distribution center and customer service and was told the cumputer was down. I gave my cell phone number and no one returned my called. I called home office and it was told to me "Delivery is at the discretion of the home store". I am from a working family and we have different work schedules. I think the Distribution Center and Customer Service should be more accomodating and friendly towards the customer. I feel for any business is to thrive the concerns of the customer should be heard and considered.

I put a sectional in the layaway at Ashley's....found another sectional at another store for less and asked to be refunded the $550 I paid down. I went into the store to cancel on September 24th, was told my card was credited I waited 4 days to receive my $200 in cash back to my card. Apparently the transaction didn't go through and the store somehow wasn't aware of it. Go figure. I paid $300 down with a check back in July. Ashley requires that you get a check in return for check--even if they cashed yours long ago. Today is October 3rd. Still no refund. Long story short, if you go to Ashley's and change your mind, don't expect them to treat you like they care if you ever come back. They don't. My mother passed away and I need my refund to go home. I asked that I not be charged the cancellation fee but of course that was a no. They didn't try to help, expedite or otherwise apologize for screwing up on the debit transaction or any part of this unpleasant situation. No. I found a better deal and took. It shouldn't take an act of Congress to get my money back. There should be a limit to the amount of punishment I have to withstand for finding a comparable sofa for less.

I hate this store. I am living in Winnipeg Manitoba.I spent almost 3000 to buy a format dinning room set in st James ave. When they delivered to our house. All the dinning chairs are not stable. They are shaking a lot . We can not even sit on the chair. And the dinning table has a big gap. Then we went to the store. They told me they will contact me and fix the problem. But nobody called. In the store We found that the price is600 dollars less than we bought . Then we found the salesperson, he thought it is reasonable to do the price match. When he tried to return our money. Who is called himself "store manager came and said he refused to return our money. I am just wondering how can be a store manger in Ashley? Because they are more greedy than others? He cheated my money, I can not believe in Canada I met such a bad person. They cheated me as a fool!! Just steal the money from me. I am pregnant, in the store I am sad. I can not believe I had this experience. I don't know who can help me. It is not how much I was cheated. It is like somebody steal money from me. The storemanager horrible person! i need to file a complaint with corporate office about a rip off.do you have a email addres for them. obviously they dont want to make that public.i purchased oer 5000. of products from them. i put 2500 down. partof the purchase was 2 bar stools. i was told they cost $69. each on clearance. i said i need 2 will take them. within 10 min a sales man said oh no, they are 169.00 each. i thought and said, well, i need them will take them. i also purchased a large bed for 800; a recliner leather chair for 800 and paid cash for both; when i bought the couch and loveseat it was only because they had 5 yrs no interest. they said i had to pay cash for the bar stools on sale so i did. then i had to pay cash for the delivery of 175. and for the 5 yrs warranty. so i paid another 782. cash all within 2 wks.after delivery of all but the bar stools, they said there was an adding error and i could no longer have the bar stools and they added the cost of bar stools to the balance that i financed and refused to refund the 340. i have been waiting for over 5 wks now for the bar stools or the cash. they told me i dont get either one. that it was sent tofinance co. towards my loan. i said, i need the cash to pay for 2 bar stools somewheree else. i was told sorry. wont happen.they made an error. right. i agreed to pay the error in adding but need it added to the financed portion. they said no. bar stools are gone even though they have 5 of them in the store. what a rippoff. after 5000. this is how i am treated.i am not tring to cheat anyone, just want the damn barstools. i agree t pay the adding error. but my contract does not state thatanywhere.

I agree with all the complains about Ashley. This is the worse experience I ever had, buying furniture. I got a set of 3 living room coffee tables; the quality is so bad, that I don't even use them, because I'm afraid we are going to get hurt. The look is very modern but the reality is that it's not even one screw attaching the wood pieces and the top glass is loose. It's over 2 months I'm asking for the option to get credit and get something else. After many calls, visits to the store and e-mails to Customer Care, I got a phone call responding that I should look at the pieces before I order them, so in other words, all clients should take a apart the furniture in the store, before we are buying, to be sure how is done. This is the most ridiculous answer to a customer. Instead of making us happy and try to have good reviews and recommendations, are doing the opposite. Professionalism is totally missing, when asking for a name they don't want so say the last name, I don't know why. I'm not giving up, and I'm planning to contact Customer's Affairs. This type of business is totally unacceptable.

I really wish I had did my homework and not ordered from Ashley. I bought my furniture from the Ashley on Golf Road in Niles, Illinois and at first we had trouble with the delivery date. After they delivered the reclining couch and love seat they had to take a piece off the couch to get it through the door and they put it back on but hours after they left i noticed the piece they took off would not recline. The next day I called customer service and requested that a tech come out any time after 4:00 because I had to take off work for the delivery. The tech called back and said he would be able to come between the hours of 11-12. I tried to call the store and speak to the Manager and now I am getting the run around. PLEASE I STRONGLY SUGGEST NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY THEY HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY ALSO TOLD ME THEY HAVE NO CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS

Hello my name is Aaron Jolley, and I am a very distruct costumer because have bought a loveseat and two accent chairs: Loveseat Item No. 5350135, two chairs Item No. 5350160. Paid full price and paid cash, but the funiture I bought the loveseat and one of the chairs were already used. The chair had marks of paint on the arm and snagged on the cushion and the loveseat had impressions inside of the cushion, like someone sat on it or it was used. I dont pay for used furniture because if that was the case I would've went to Goodwill and bought their furniture, but I thought I was getting new furniture but when I talk to the sales person he said everything was in stock and brand new also in boxes but when they delivered the funiture only one of the chairs was in the box and you can tell that was a new chair because the loveseat and the other chair was wrapped up in plastic. All I want is a new chair and a new loveseat because I am not getting this problem solved in rosedale, the manager isn't helping and and the services isn't helping, and my next step is to go to my local tv station because your store keep given me the run around I even offered to pay half of the delivery. The personnel on initial visit very friendly and go that extra mile until the check is written. Then, apparently you're on your own. Wish I had read the reviews prior to putting out over 4,000.00 ! Still no furniture, even after I had told them I was on a deadline for delivery. The last excuse? There wasn't't enough furniture on the truck to make the trip worthwhile. I would have to wait until there was a full order. REALLY? Going today to fight for cancellation and a refund. Looks like an uphill battle. If you're considering buying from Ashley; think again !!

I purchased a bedroom set from Asley Furniture in CATONSVILLE, MARYLAND, I also got the warranty that would fix any thing or replace item. Well as things go I got a few scratches and contacted them 5/11 and was told someone would contact me within a week, Weeks turned into months. On 8/1 my lovely greadaughter got into fingernail polish remover, on my night stand.. In a panic I called Ashley right away I needed help and now Elauise was not able to help but someone would call me back. What a joke, I called the next day and asked for the supervisor, Dana the warranty manger would have to call me back. That went on for weeks and then I spoke to him and he said I needed to send in pictures and I did 8/16. Now I'm back to phone tag. I would never buy another product from them ever. Nor would I suggest anyone else to either. It's September 13, 2011, do u think I'll ever get something repaired? lol

ASHLEY furniture is HORRIBLE!!! The quality, for the price you pay is a total tip off and they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!!! I bought a 3 piece leather living room set from a local retailer less than 4 years ago and the leather is LITERALLY PEELING and falling off!! I TOO bought the extende warranty and when it came time to NEED it, ASHLEY NOR the PROTECTION PLAN COMPANY would do ANYTHING!! I called, emailed and wrote letter to Ashley headquarters and NOTHING!! I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER again buy ASHLEY FURNITURE OF ANY KIND...if you are smart, you wont either!!!!

Wow. This is a company that should not be in business. My disappointment is immense! Furniture not delivered on time or at all. Poor quality furniture and just an all around TERRIBLE experience!!! As stated in previous comments, I really wish I read these reviews before ordering furniture. ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I shopped at Ashley in Patchogue and Farmingdale new york. I could not believe their delivery prices. they are the highest I have ever seen at ANY furniture store. I asked if I could pick up the furniture and they said we dont do pick ups. What a complete rip off. I will never shop Ashley again.

Don't go to the one in Bryant Ar whatever you do. They put a price on something, you like it and oh by the way those options are not included in the price. Complete BS and not to mention false advertisement. If there are options they should be listed with the price tag and let me know whats included in the price.

DO NOT BUY ANY LEATHER FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY !!! We spent over $3,000.00 for a livingroom set and in just 18 months the leather is flaking off on all of the pieces. We take very good care of our home and this is just unacceptable. We were told that we would have to deal with the sales rep for our area and work something out with him and the owner of the furniture store. What? Meaning that Ashley does not stand behind their merchandise. I plan to take this as far as I need to and I advise other buyers to do the same. Don't let them get away with taking your money for sub-standard merchandise.

Unhappy customer, Lubbock TX I really do think there should be a way to inform people NOT TO BUY from any Ashley Furniture stores. What a rip off!!! I purchased a bedroom set for my daughter on 08/13/2011. I didn’t have a problem with the delivery since it was delivered on time but once the furniture was set up and after looking at the quality of the pieces, my goodness you have to be kidding me!!! The set up was not done correct, as there were 2 screws exposed at least 2" from the top bunk bed and the night stand was not assembled correctly. Almost forgot to mention the slats for the bunk beds are so paper thin that I do not trust these cardboard bunk beds. It WAS very nerve wrecking to see the slats bend downward when I had a person get on the top bunk bed so I could feel comfortable about having the kids sleep on these beds. So needless to say I will now have 2 full size beds in a tiny room since I do not trust my child will not get hurt on this furniture So contacted customer service (the name is a joke) they were very rude and they told me the next day they could send someone out to correct the problems was going to be by Sept. 27th. Even after I explained the hazard with the 2 exposed screws that could harm the person on the bottom bunk if they were not extremely careful. That day was unacceptable, so I asked to speak to a supervisor and they had me on eternal hold. Finally a lady by the name of Tammy got on the phone and stated she is the office manager. Guess what? She promised a day of Thursday Sept. 1st. Today is 08/30/2011. After reading all the negative reviews I’m not holding my breath with any thing they say. And of course, I tried talking to the actual store about returning the cheap furniture and Greg at the Lubbock Store said , “sorry once it’s in your home, it’s your’s to keep”. So of course I advi
