I purchased a recliner over 5 weeks ago. My credit card was charged almost immediately which I already paid. I still haven't received my recliner and the store has no idea when it will arrive. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive but it has been nearly 6 weeks and still no recliner. They seems to be no customer service. The store makes excuses that don't make sense and doesn't seem interested in my situation. I will never deal with a again with Ashley and I will also be letting my friends also know about how they deal with their customers. I really don't understand how they stay in business with customer service being so bad.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. THEY CALLED ME TO PICK UP MY FURNITURE AND ALL THE PIECE WERE NOT IN, SO i HAD TO MAKE TWO TRIPS TO THE WAREHOUSE WHICH WAS 45 MINUTES AWAY. THEN THE RAILS FOR MY BED WAS NOT IN THE ORDER AND THEY REFUSED TO DROP IT OFF TO MY HOME, THEY WANTED ME TO DRIVE A THIRD TIME TO THE WAREHOUSE! i WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN. THE SALES MANAGER OFFERED ME A GIFT CARD TO USE IN THE FURNITURE STORE FOR MY INCONVENIENCE, BUT YOU WOULD HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY IN THE FURNITURE STORE. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT. DO NOT USE THEM

We purchase two reclining chairs. I have MS and now need an electrical reclining chair that will help me to get in and out of it. We tried the chairs out for a few minutes in the store. (We paid cash $60.00 each.) We had them for only two weeks and realized they are the most uncomfortable chairs we had ever owned. I call Ashley store and they told me "No Returns, no exception" that was their policy. If we had known that was their policy we would had never enter the store much less ordered two chairs from them. Maybe Ashley should have a big sign in front of the stores and inside the store that says NO RETURNS NO EXCEPTION also have their salesperson tell the customer NO RETURNS NO EXCEPTION What is interesting that their brochure states under warrantes--unmatched comfort. I guess it means comfort in the stock holders pockets!!!!!!!!!

LET THE BUYER BEWARE! We purchased a leather double recliner sofa and within 3 months the color was worn off from normal use. That seat cover was replaced but our other complaints about no support on the seats went unheeded. Now after numerous complaints about the poor structure of the recliner seats that are at least 5 inches lower than they were originally, the sofa is almost unusable. We discovered to our utter dismay that the 5-year extended warranty we foolishly purchased only covers "accidental" damage! This is a $1500 piece of junk. Ashley has no interest in standing behind their products. WE WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PIECE OF ASHLEY FURNITURE AND ARE ADVISING ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN TO STAY AWAY, REGARDLESS OF HOW GOOD THE DEAL MIGHT SOUND. WHAT THEY MAKE ISN'T WORTH IT AT ANY PRICE!

I also would give -5 if I could They are the poorest customer service people I have ever dealy with!! Trying to get furniture delivered is not going to happen but yet they Charge $$$$$ in the first place. After the salesman sells you the furniture you might as well forget about them helping you. They called no message left and were going to be at the house in 30 minutes never spoke to a human. Now they say since we missed the time have to pay 49.00 to reschedule. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! too frustrating....;

IF I COULD POST LESS THEN 1 STAR I WOULD !!!!!!!!! I PURCHASED A SET OF COUCHES FROM ASHLEY HOME STORE IN COLTON CALIFORNIA. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER WHEN I RE ARRANGED THEM I NOTICED THAT THE FRAME WASNT RIGHT . I CALLED ASHLEY THEY SENT OUT A TECH . HE TOOK APART THE COUCH AND TOLD ME THE FRAME IS BROKEN .. HE THEN PUT A PICE OF WOOD ON THE FRAME AND SCREWED IT IN. NOW IM BEING TOLD THAT THEY REPAIRED TO THERE SATISFACTION... REMEMBER THIS IS "BRAND NEW FURNITURE" THEY ARE SUCH A GIANT COMPANY THEY DONT CARE !!!!!!.... YOU OR ME ARE NOT GOING TO BREAK THEM THAT SO SAD.......................................................................................................................................................

Me and my daughter was going to purchase two beds and could not decide which kind to get so we went in the Ashley Furniture in Hattiesburg Ms. We purchased the beds was told if we got them home and wanted a different size we could exchange no problem! The sales lady also informed us 30 days to return if not comfortable! My daughter got the Temp. Plush and I purchased the Temp. Cloud the day of delivery I told them the bed was hard as a brick and to take it back. Was told oh sleep on it and see if it breaks in. The next day I could not move my back hurt so bad. Today is day Three and we are at the Ashley store in Hattiesburg told the manager I wanted to return the bed and was told it was a ED percent restocking fee Z774.00 to take the bed back!!!!!! I was never informed of that and he brought out a contract paper that was in the stack of financing and said you signed it!! So I have to pay the money or be stuck with this 3500.bed that is like laying on the sidewalk. The manager was so rude he ask us not to speak!!! He did not want to hear us at all and said we could call the district manager he did not care! I am running an add in the Hattiesburg paper tomorrow to inform everyone how underhanded this store is! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! RIP OFF!!!!!!!

My wife and I went to Ashley Furniture in Chattanooga to buy a bedroom set. After deciding on what to get the salesman asks us if we need a mattress. We tell him that we do but we need to do some research first. He tells us that their prices can not be beat and that if we do find a better price somewhere else they will credit our account. So we decide to check them out. The salesman tells us about a very reasonably priced mattress and tells us that he has one in the back. He brings it out for us to lay on. We both lay on it and agree that it feels fine. I jump online to see if I can find the mattress somewhere else in a hurry but no luck, thinking that I just have not taken enough time to find it. We go ahead and order $3,500 worth of furniture. When the furniture finally arived they called and set up a delivery date. We got rid of our existing furniture and made arrangements to be at home. Ashley Furniture calls us the day before and tells us that the furniture came in damaged and needs to be ordered again. We say fine these things happen, atleast they are checking the furniture. 2 weeks later we finally get the furniture. The furniture looks good but the people who install the drawers must get paid by the job, not the hour. All the dresser drawers close differently with some of the tacks uneven. You would think that the work would get inapected before it shipped out. The delivery men were nice and told us that someone would be out to fix it. My wife and I decide to try out the mattress and it is the hardest mattress I have ever laid on. I had to double check and make sure that it was not a box spring. We check the mattress and realize that they sold us a diffetent mattress than the one we laid on. We call the store and explain that there was some kind of mistake and that sleeping on the mattress is not an option. They proceed by telling us that there is a $250 restocking fee. After arguing with customer service my wife tells them to get ready because we are comming to the store. After arguing in person the salesperson finally admits that he made a mistake but tells us that cancelling is not an option. They finally decide to exchange the mattress but we have to bring the mattress in and then drive to the wherehouse to pick up the new mattress. Ashley Furnirure is a bunch of crooks. They had us lay on a more expensive mattress than what we were getting. They also tell you that they price match

Please advise all your family and friends not to purchase any of the junk ashley offers. I paid 3,600 cash for a bedroom suite and the bed was slanted and your feet was higher than your head. Ashley sent a tech out twice and pretty much told me that was how it was made and the tech even put in his report my house was slanted. The manger offered me 10 percent back on the bed alone of 15 percent on my total purchase if I would keep the bed. I expressed to him that since having the bed I had noticed waking up with my back hurting and I did not want to keep the bed. I was told I could come in and select a new bed but that was all that he could do. The Spanish Fort, AL store even tried to charge me a delivery charge To deliver the new one that I selected. The sales lady was great and the lady doing the paperwork was great but the management sucks. I will never buy anything else from Ashley. I spent 3,600 on bedroom furniture without the mattresses and hope the new one will be better than the One I originally selected.

we purchased asofa and loveseat from ashley in april 2111.by october the fabric is worn. the mechanisms areloose and hardto close. i have been trying to grt something done. i am very frustrated. they are crooks for not standing behind their products

I purchased bedroom furniture at the Rivergate store in Goodlettsville, TN. When it came, it did not have the right accessories with it. We ordered a trundle bed and mattress set. We thought since it said set, we were getting the mattress and box springs. We received the mattress, but the delivery men said we didn't get the box springs and the mattress would have to have some kind of support with it. We went back to the store the next day and the sales person and the manager admitted she made a mistake in not adding the box spring to the order, but instead of trying to help with getting a box spring, he told us we would have to purchase one even though it was their mistake in leaving it off the order. I didn't think that was fair since we already paid for the set, but he said he was giving us a 'deal' by knocking off a hundred dollars. I told him that wasn't right, that we had already paid for it and didn't get it. He stated that we could do that or get a piece of plywood for support. He was very condescending toward us even though he and the salesperson had admitted they made the mistake in the first place. We also bought a nightstand and instead of having it delivered, we chose to pick it up. They said it would be delivered to the Lavergne, TN store thirty miles away and still charged us $19.99 even though we will be picking it up ourselves. This is not the way a store should do business. My wife wanted them to take the furniture back and get our money back and the manager smirked at her and said sure, for a 30% re-stocking fee. Now we are stuck with this furniture and will never be able to enjoy it because of the terrible way were treated.

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY. We purchased furniture over 2 months ago and did the financing through GE Capital. We were extremely unsatisfied with the quality as soon as we received it and called to have the items picked up. They didn't waste any time picking it up but have not yet credited my GE account. I have made 4 telephone calls and been assured each time that it would be taken care of and it still has not. My credit is being affected and I am incurring late charges.

we purchase furn at Ashley on RT 40 Middle River Maryland. a reclining sofa it was broke when it was delived. the frame is bent All I want is a new sofa that I payed for not a fixed one. Ethel & Robert Scharmer

Just as an FYI DO NOT purchase furniture at Ashley Furniture HomeStore their furniture is junk and they do not stand behind their products. I purchased a recliner from them and have only had it for 4 months. The backrest is wobbley and the armrest is broken. I had an inspector for Ashley come out to look at it and she determined that recliner needed to be replaced and told me some one will be contacting me within 4 days to talk to me. Well they did not contact me and when i called them they told me that the case had been closed. Well thanks for letting me know...anyway they told me that the chair works that way its suppose to be wobbley and have a loose armrest...I do not think so. It just so happen that the inspector contacted me today for my end tables because they did not completely finish them and I told her what had happened. She told me that some one changed her report and that and it did not list her finding. So lesson learned DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE ITS JUNK AND THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

For all of the people who have had nothing good to say about Ashley, please contact the Better Business Bureau and let them know how bad Ashley Furniture is and post on facebook to all of your friends to BE AWARE and DO NOT purchase furniture at Ashley's. I spent $1294.00 and didn't get ripped off as bad as others and for those that didnt spend a dime and went some where else SMART THINKING. Will never step into that store again...done, done, done with that place such bad customer service and cheap furniture.

On November 14th we went into Ashley Furniture in Midland Texas to look at purchasing 2 queen beds and a temper-pedic bed. We had to have at least 1 queen complete bed set for our visiting family on Thanksgiving. The salesperson and manager promised they would make sure this would happen if we bought from them. WE DID. Our guests had to sleep on a mattress on the floor because they did not have the frame when they came to deliver. They also only had half of our order but we really only needed that one bed. We made calls to the store but was told they would have to call us back. NO ONE CALLED. My husband even went to the store to get a frame and put it together himself on Thanksgiving eve but we were told it was on the truck en-route to our house from Lubbock so we back home and waited and we are still waiting today January 9th 2012. We called the store and the customer service department several times after Thanksgiving was told each time that the manager or someone would call us back. NEVER DID. Went to the store and spoke to manager about being lied to and they said they would have their boss call us in the next 2 days. Never happened Again visited the store a few weeks later and asked about canceling the order because of the many times we had been lied to and they said we had to keep the temper pedic bed for 30 days before it could be returned and they could take back the other items but would only give store credit and charge me restocking fees even though all of the items have not been delivered. I explained that solution was unacceptable and they said there boss was coming to town and would call me to come in and speak to him NO call came. Spoke to manager again a few weeks later and this time she said the temper-pedic mattress could be returned but the ergo system and base was not returnable. I have no use for a temper-pedic base without the bed and this is not what she and sales lady told us when we were looking at the beds. I explained that I felt this was a deceptive trade practice and she made a call and said the corporate Vice President would be in town and she would guarantee that they would call me to resolve the problem. AGAIN NO CALL. We have had to start making our payments and we don’t have half of our order and may not ever get it. PLEASE DON’T BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!!

We paid almost $2000 for what we thought was the perfect sectional for our living room. After 3 months I noticed that the cushions were not as sturdy as they had previously been. Now it is 6 months since we bought this couch and I am considering putting plywood under the cushions because this couch sits so poorly. This is something that I would expect if I had bought my couch at a thrift store. I certainly expected this $2000 sectional to last longer than 6 months! Someone tell me what the heck is going on with the quality of ashley furniture!

I purchases 2300.00 in furniture and paid in cash. I canceled the furniture order all except a table that was non refunfable. I canceled my order and was charged the cancelation fee which i was fine with Icanceled my order on November 28 2011 and it is now Jan 9 2012 and i still have not received my refund check.

I purchased a sofa and loveseat (leather and very expensive) from Ashley in Henderson, Nevada (Mall Ring Circle)and received delivery Aug 3, 2011. The second time my husband sat on the left side of the couch the cushion puckered like cheap "pleather". The 3rd time he sat on the same side the springs collapsed!! My husband is not a huge man at 6ft and 185lbs!! I took photos of the pucker and went to Customer service 3 weeks after delivery. The woman that waited on me acted unconcerned, filled out paperwork and told me someone would contact me for the repair. After numerous, numerous phone calls and complaints, a service tech came out today, Jan 3rd 2012. He was the rudest, nasiest "little man" I have ever encountered. His attitude was flippant, cavalier and snotty. "Well, this is obviously an old couch and it is showing weaR and tear". I asked him to sit on the couch so he could see what was happening and he replied that it was against company policy to sit on the couch. That it was like sitting on a bed...couldn't be done. He said he could order me a new cushion slip cover....duh, like that's gonna fix the couch!!! I threw him out of my house. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IN HENDERSON, NEVADA. THEY ARE THIEVES AND IDIOTS!!!!
