942 Reviews For Ashley Furniture Headquarters & Corporate Office

I really wish I would have read these reviews before we decided to purchase $3000 worth of living room furniture from Ashley. We made the purchase on 3/2/12 and they told us the delivery would take 2-3 weeks. Our sales person said 3 weeks at the most. Well, here it is, 4/4/12 and we STILL DON'T HAVE OUR FURNITURE!!! And, it won't be here for another 2-3 weeks. They customer service representative at the actual store was very nice, as were all the stores' employees, who we dealt with. The only complaint with them is that they said they would be in contact to provide us with the shipping information, but they only correspondance that they've initiated was a thank you letter from our sales person. Other than that, I've called them to find out shipping information. Every time I've called, the date gets pushed back. When I told my husband that the delivery has been delayed once again, he asked what sort of compensation we would get for having to wait so long. Of course, they haven't offered any. So, I decided to call the corporate office. Herein lies the problem. The "customer service" person was very defensive and crass... she said there was nothing she could do for me, and that the actual store where the purchase was made would have to contact her directly so she could find out the issue. I insisted that she should be the one to call the store, and after several minutes of insistence, she finally agreed to take down the store's information so she could get in touch with them. What if I were a timid person and hadn't insisted that she DO HER JOB?? I guess, then, I would still be playing the waiting game with them. Only now are they going to make an effor to expedite the delivery. Why couldn't this have been done in the first place?? I think that the privately owned stores are not made aware of the availability of the furniture inventory in the warehouses, and as long as the furniture is on the showroom floor, they sell it. The sales people have no idea that the furniture is backordered because there is a lack of communtication between the showroom stores and the corporate warehouses. They should impliment a better system to deter this problem or they are going to end up going under. I just hope that when we receive the furniture that it will be in pristine condition. I would love to be able to write a good review about the furniture we've chosen (the first actual set of furniture that my husband and I have ever bought together, awww)!

Tuesday, April 03, 2012 Ashley Furniture Customer Service 1930 Mt. Zion Rd Morrow GA 30260 Dear Customer Service, Ashley furniture is well known for its quality and for valuing customers. It is disappointing to write to you today about my recent experience at your Mt. Zion location. From the time we entered to the time we left your location our experience was haphazard at best. On Tuesday, March 27, 2012 my daughter and I were on a mission to purchase a bed set for her. We arrived at your Mt. Zion location surprised to see one of your sales agents sitting on the edge of a display bed and remained there as I proceeded to clearly express my interest in a purchase of a bed set for my daughter. From a first impression I concluded he must be a customer who is familiar with the layout of the store. To my surprise he represents Ashley furniture. He did not welcome us to the store with a friendly smile. He failed to demonstrate any interest in my business as he proceeded to sit while providing us directions on where to locate such furniture. My daughter and I proceeded to the location to view the selections without any assistance. This associate was not assisting any other clients and we waited approximately five minutes before finally being assisted. I would expect a sales associate to capitalize on this sales opportunity upon the first initial expression of interest. Unfortunately again the associate failed to connect with us as customers. The lack of attention was evident. Repeatedly I had to explain our interest and to act with a sense of urgency. Even after the selection was made he proceeded to move on to the next customer before we could officially close out our sale. I am grateful for the “Meisha” associate who realized our frustration and proceeded with the fact finding process. During the purchase process to set up time frame for delivery and confirm pieces being purchased he proceeded to leave us to help another customer. The confirmation and disclosures were left for my daughter and me to review. Astonished that this associate left us in the middle of a transaction, a more helpful associate “Meisha” returned again to complete the sale. Upon his return there was no apology for his rude behavior. No expression of gratitude toward his peer for her assistance. The lack of respect and focus alone is confirmation never to return nor suggest this location to other potential customers. Overall, from beginning to end this sales associate demonstrated the lack of interest, fact finding, effective listening, build rapport, mirroring, and making our experience one of a kind. The process of the sale was in lack of better terms “cookie cutter” or “assembly line” performance. This is certainly not the reputation that Ashley furniture is known for. I would not recommend any friend or family to purchase from this location and to seek other furniture vendors. I am appalled and disappointed the treatment we received. Disappointed Customers, Karen and Taylor

In March 2010 I bought a kitchen table set, $600 cash, I picked up from warehouse after about 3 weeks, and its a very sturdy, great wood table. no complaints about anything...well Feb 2011 I go back to buy a Living room set I purchase a $2000 sectional, I kind of felt like I was conned too, I went in there knowing I wanted a sectional but he only showed my certain ones, kept me away from clearance turns out! Anyways I was made aware of the long delivery wait of 4-6 weeks, after 7 weeks, I call, oh were sorry! Its on "back order" it will be another two weeks! Finally End of April I recieve my furniture...Everything looks great, Satisfied, even the delivery guys were nice. But then a month later my 2 YEAR OLD SON, jumps in the right spot of the couch and the frame BUSTED! LITERALLY! It literally fell in! one whole side of the sectional is on the ground...so I call to use my warrant, not to mention I have the manufacture warranty since its still been under a year...so they send out a tech and the tech says....oh Ill take pictures to my manager and see what he thinks because I have no idea how to fix the frame (at this point the rest of the couch is going with it because of how its leaning and lost the support) 2 weeks went by and I didnt hear anything so I called..."Oh were sorry we need you to file a claim with Montage Furniture Services, since they are who your warranty is through" Okay no big deal but you couldnt have told me this a week ago!? I call Montage, they email a bunch of paperwork, I mail it in, call them 3 weeks later, they never recieved it!! so I fax it in, 1 day later I call, oh we got it, its being reviewed. 4 weeks later..."WE ARE CONSULTING WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE TO SEE IF THEY WILL FIX IT SINCE IT WAS STILL UNDER MANUFACTURE WARRANTY" REALLY!!!??? As you can see its now March 2012...and I am still getting the ro

I am so upset that I did not read the reviews here. I have purchases Ashley Furniture before and had no problems with anything. Not this purchase, I purchased a living room suite and have had nothing but problems with each piece, the couch has been worked on twice and taken to their warehouse for repair which I did not want, but I was strong armed into this, now my loveseat needs to be taken in for repair. This is the worst, I mean worst furniture I have ever purchased, could have bought from a YARD SALE and got better furniture. The NON-customer service department is horrible to the customers, as someone stated earlier all they do is LIE, LIE, LIE, and at the customers expense. Will tell everyone I know that Ashley has nice advertisements, but POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR QUALITY FURNITURE. My plan was to purchase a bedroom suite for my son's room this will NOT happen.

We bought a couch and chair from this store in February of this year. At the time of purchase I told the saleswoman I had children and was looking for a durable, child friendly couch. I wanted a leather couch but the store did not have the color I wanted in leather, she steered me to the correct color but in a Durablend leather couch, assured me it was "better than" leather and would hold up with kids. Easy to clean was a must and she said that was the "perfect couch" for me. Then told me "because" I had kids, buying the warranty for the couch would cover anything that could or would happen to the couch for 5 years. I was thrilled. What a deal, a durable, kid friendly couch, warranty to cover the couch for 5 years and in the color I wanted. Couch was delivered and one month later, I had issues with cleaning the couch that clearly was made with a paper thin material so when I wiped it with paper towels it ripped. People would sit on my couch and chair, adults, buttons on pants would rip the material, Fingernails will rip it. I felt like this couch was really just made to look at and not actually sit on. I checked online to see if there were complaints about this Durablend and found many, many complaints about exactly what I was dealing with. So we call Ashleys and tell them our situtaion and send someone out to look at this, I ean we did have a warranty on top of just buying this furniture. Guy comes out and first claims we must have a cat, what? No cat buddy. Ok it must be the dog, no the dog stays outside, we have a child who is allergic to dog hair so dog must stay outside. Husband is talking to this guy and he is saying how much trouble he sees with this Durablend and how many people are unhappy with how it tears, rips and doesn't hold up but yet he keeps blaming a dog that NEVER comes inside and has never been near this couch ever. I knew we were going to have trouble after his visit. Back online to check if any complaints about Ashleys furniture. Ok find hundreds on just a simple search about how they sell you furniture and sucker you into some 5 year warranty that is supposed to cover everything but NEVER pay out on it. No one ever gets to use that 5 year warranty because they will blame any damage on the consumer. Well don't I feel stupid. I am one of those suckers. I am not backing down on this because we are in the right and they just made up some lame excuse to not have to cover this furniture. I really want a refund and just go somewhere else to buy something that is what I expected when I bought this furniture but we are willing at the least to get a store credit to buy what we were supposed to get. As it is right now, we call and ask to talk to a manager, supervisor, anyone to fix our problem and we get a promise that someone who can help will call us back. Well no one does.

There should be a rating of "NO STARS" never ever again will I purchase anything with an Ashley Furniture label on it!!!!! Purchased a Sofa and Love Seat set 1 1/2 years ago. The cushions are flat and the cushion casing fabric is splitting which is not repairable. I would need to order new cushions and casing. The cost for the cushion is $40.00 the cost for the casing is $50.00. The repair cost for the love seat would be $180.00 and the cost to repair the couch would be $270.00 plus the shipping costs. That is a total of $450.00. I paid $654.99 for the Love Seat and $720.99 for the couch and 1 1/2 years later I am looking at an additional $450.00 to repair it. The customer service agent offered no help other than contacting a Ashley dealer in my area. So helpful! I am so disgusted. Now I have to look at this crappy furniture until I have the extra money to purchase a whole new set. Makes me sick!

I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE I purchased an Ashley Sofa in Jefferson County, Tennessee. I am greatful that we did not purchase a lot more things, which we were planning to do. We bought the sofa on 3/9/12. We were told (verbally) that our sofa would be delivered in 7 to 10 business days. On day 9, I called them. Of course, I spoke to the secretary, not the sales manager. What a thankless job that poor lady has. She has to deal with all the fall-out from the lies. When I did get the sales receipt out and looked at it, there was not mention of 7 to 10 days. Only a note about backorders: 3-5 weeks. So, they knew from the beginning that we would not see that sofa in 10 days. The secretary said that the computer showed the sofa would be "loaded" (presumably at the factory) on March 30. I have no clue when it will be delivered to me. After reading these comments, I am afraid we may NEVER receive our sofa. This has taught me a big lesson. From here on out, I will always check the corporate sites first. Luckily, we know the truth. They are not concerned with repeat business, but out to get you to open your wallet 1 time.

Where to start with my experience with Ashley Furniture...... This is the worst experience i have ever had. This was my first experience purchasing a piece of expensive furniture and it was NOT a good one! There furniture is VERY POORLY built and not worth the money! When we got my furniture, unwrapped it, a huge gash was cut out of it. Getting them to fix that was not that bad. The guy came out on a weekend to do it. Not a few months later, the frame on the back of the couch broke. I never would have thought sitting and laying on furniture would break it. We reported this and Ashley Furniture sent out Montage! Little did we know, if Montage fixed it, it would void our 5 yr warranty. We were apparently unaware of how there warranties worked! They did not fix it bc the guy was honest enough to tell us Ashley should have. We then call Ashley and try the "PROCESS" of getting it fixed. Keep in mind it has been about 2 mths of run arounds with them, they finally send someone out. he comes out, doesnt even take the couch apart, doesnt have any tools and tells us we need to deliver it to the warehouse to have it fixed! NO! so needless to say, we are still trying to work this out and a time for them to come bc THEY THINK NO ONE HAS JOBS ANYMORE! WE WORK DURING THE WEEK AND I HAVE TAKEN OFF 3 DAYS TO TRY AND FIX THIS! NOW ITS TIME THEY ACCOMODATE US! I CAN NOT BE TAKING OFF MORE WORK! SO IT LOOKS WE WILL BE WITHOUT A COUCH FOR A WEEK! I AM A "VERY PISSED" CUSTOMER THAT WILL BUY NOTHING ELSE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!

Ashley Furniture customer service sucks. I purchased a bed room set at the Wilmington Delaware location. I was told by my sales associate as well as the store manager that the set I was purchasing was made of "real wood" not to mention I paid $3,000.00 for this set. To my surprise, not even a month later my 4 year old gets in the bed and the rails fell apart from the head board. I looked at the the pieces that fell of the bed and wow they head board was made of "styrofoam" yeah go figure. I have been back to the wilmington store location and they gave me the number to customer service in Maryland(410-398-8844)which sucks. I was asked to email pictures of the damaged headboard, which I did, three days went by without a response. I have called the store several times and each time I am told they are reviewing the photos or they did not recieve the photos or they are trying to figure out if they can repair it or replace it. Bull crap, the pictures clearly show that there are two layers of materials to the bed and the first layer is styrofoam. The corporate office is no help at all, run around city. I am contacting an attorney and reporting Ashley furniture to the BBB. This company is very dishonest and does not honor their word or products. I will never purchase another product from this company again. Ashley furniture is a fraud. I wish the rating scale had a rate of no stars which means beyond terrible.

Wow, I thought I was in this alone after reading everyone horriable story about how Ashley furniture customer service, sale person and manager stink. My husband and I order a living room set about two weeks ago, it was deliever friday March 17, 2012 now remind wherever someone deliever sometime to your place of resident someone have to be home, my husband and I waited patiently while the deliever guys took their time by calling us to let us know they was on their way. Then they got to the house took their time to take the furniture off the truck. Once the furniture was in the house and set up the chair had straches and cuts marks and the sofa chair had straches, cuts, and bad stiches. I refused the furniture the delievery guys was mad because I refuse furniture my husband and I paid big money for. I called the store and explain how the furniture was in bad condition, they asked me a thousand question like I was lying. I said to my husband if the furniture we had in the living room was not old furniture I will not be ordering new furniture, because customer service and management and sale person are the worst people to deal with all they want is a sale to get a big bonus. I just got a called today from Ashley store in decatur ga saying that my furniture will be delievery March 26, in the mean while my husband and I been sitting on a ottaman waiting for our living room. If you are in the market to buy new furniture I do not think Ashley furniture is the place to go. Worst experience I ever had with a furniture store..lyer lyer pants on fire.

My wife went to Ashleys in Jacksonville, NC on the 12th of Jan 2012 and purchased a Key Town bedroom set as a welcome home surprise to be delivered before my return from a deployment overseas. Aprroximately two weeks ago, she went back to the store and was informed by Dan (Sales rep) that the furntiure will not arrive as scheduled. In fact, she was told that the bedroom set won't be available till the 12th of March 2012, two weeks after my return. Dan reassured my wife he will call on the 6th of Mar to set-up a delivery date and time. After not getting any call from the store on the date promised, my wife called but Dan cannot be reached and no one in the store could tell her the status of the furniture. Needless to say, the surprise didn't happen and my wife was given the run-around till this day. Yesterday, we went to the store to inquire about the furniture and of course, Dan wasn't available so we were referred to another manager, who was completely clueless regarding our situation. We offered to take the same bedroom set on display but was told it's against "Corporate policy" to sell furniture straight off the floor. After that didn't work, we asked that whatever pieces they have in stock be delivered to us as soon as possible and the remainder pieces can be delivered at a later date. The manager was hesistant at first but finally gave in after speaking to another "manager". It has been over 8 weeks now since my wife purchased the bedroom set and we are still waiting for it to be delivered. All we keep hearing from the store and its reps is that it's the factory's fault for the delay and not theirs. This is UNACCEPTABLE And shows the poor quality of customer service the store provides to its customers. The store would rather make excuses instead of providing customer satisfaction. I have been back for over a week now and still sleeping on a mattress without a bed and the worst part about the whole ordeal is the unnecessary stress my wife is going through dealing with the store. For the record, the Ashleys store in Jacksonville, NC is the worst furniture store I have ever dealt with. They definitely need to learn the meaning of going above and beyond when it comes to providing a world class level of customer service...CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!

Do not shop at any Ashley Furniture(University Blvd) in Mobile, Alabama. My husband and I had been shopping for a couch the last two months when we finally found a couch and two rocker/reclining chairs that we both liked. We wanted to purchase but upon inspection of the furniture we found that one of the supports in the couch had came lose, we still wanted to puchase and we were told to contact the sales rep Charlie the next day after the repair tech looked at it. We contacted Charlie on the following day as we had agreed on. He said he would contact us on Wednesday. Needless to say he didn't call. My husband contacted him today and he said that he could not sale the couch in the condition that it was in, and that the store sold it to a company that takes their unrepairable furniture. I called to make a complaint and found out everything he told me was a lie and that they had sold the furniture to someone else. I will never shop ther again and will not be recomending them to anyone.

Want to deal with incompetent people with don't give a damn attitude? Just go to the Ashley Store in Linden, NJ. The store is loaded with them! We shopped there on Feb. 11, 2012 and found a sofa and love seat that had powered reclining which was awesome. We told the sales girl we wanted them and what color we wanted. After checking inventory she told us that color was not available in that color but we could have them in a much darker color at which time we said we were not interested. She asked if we would mind waiting while she checked with her manager to see if they could special order what we wanted. An hour later we were told no problem they could have what we wanted if we could wait 5 weeks. We agreed an the order was written up and delivery was scheduled for 3/14/12. Two days before this date they called and informed us that the special order was leaving the factory on 3/15/12 and would be delivered on the 17th. Today, 3/15/12, they left a message stating the power mechanism. is not available in the color we ordered, if any questions, I should call them!! When Ia called back I said there must be a mistake--why wasn't I notified sooner when the order went to the factory? Dah!

we are very upset we ordered a bunch of furniture including a living room set a dinning room set and 2 bedroom sets one for us and one for my daughter everything came in on dilervery except we got the wrong head board and we have been waiting 4 weeks with still no head board in our new house! this is rediculios! I have been calling and keep getting the run around im pissed this is terrible customer service!

If I could I would give this store less than a 1 star!!! Wow what horrible customer service and after reading other peoples reviews I am noticing a trend with Ashley LIE,LIE,LIE!!!And I only was buying a mattress nothing that was custom made or special order just a mattress they said it would be here on Thursday and as of Monday still no mattress when I asked what the problem was I got 3 different stories so I was being lied to no doubt about it. And when told I wanted my money back I was told the manager would have to call me back in about 2 hrs since she was not at work and this was at 1:30 in the afternoon dang! I want to go to work for this company you can totally screw up lie about it blame everyone else around you and you don't have to be to work until sometime late afternoon these people have it made!!I suggest to anyone that they look around their towns for a local store I did and after I told the sales lady my story she sold me a better mattress and knocked off 20 dollars my troubles BUY LOCAL AND NOT FROM A CHAIN!!!!!

Here's just another complaint to add to the long list that NOBODY AT ASHLEY seems to care about. If enough of us talk then maybe some day their business will tank. I wish I would have read all of the complaints before I made my purchase on 2/24 which I haven't received yet. I just got the call that everybody else gets - One of the items is on back order so they'll deliver everything on 3/14 and then the other piece a week to follow. There was no smile in the persons voice and that really could have made a difference. You get what you pay for so it seems they don't pay their customer service reps to care enough either. What goes around comes around and if they're not willing to fix their wrongs then it'll all come back twice as hard. I've never felt worse about a purchase.

We bought some furniture sometime in November from Ashley Furniture and one of the recliners had to be worked on and it still wasn't fixed. At the same time we ordered 2 pillows for our couch and it has been almost 5 months. And about 3 weeks ago they sent us 2 pillows but they weren't the ones we ordered so I have constantly called and they say that they will call us back. They were supposed to have them picked up March 3rd and still at my house on the 7th. I have called them again and told them that I want them picked up and want a credit on our credit card. I am a very patient person but I am not very happy with the way that they keep putting us off and sending the wrong pillows in hope that we would think that they were the right ones. Very disappointed. Will not ever buy from them again in Hobbs NM.

We ordered a sofa and loveseat and were told it would be 3 weeks. 2 days before they were supposed to arrive we received a phone call telling us that the loveseat would be here on time but the sofa wouldn't be here for another 4 days. We were upset because we had family coming to town and would only have a loveseat in our front room but there was nothing they could do so we wanted them to at least deliver the sofa for free when it came in. We called on the day when the sofa was supposed to come in to check on the delivery time and found out it would be another month before it would be in but I knew it had been delivered. Everyone kept telling me to call someone else to find out more information-no one knew anything and no one could help including the store manager. I finally found out that the manager had accidentally canceled our sofa order when he ordered the free delivery and they sold it out from underneath us! It took us 4 days to get a return phone call and almost everything they told us was lies. I will NEVER shop there again!

That's right 5 stars...a 5 STAR DISAPPOINTMENT... I know some Ashley Furniture Home Stores are independently owned and operated, but one would think that you would choose who you let represent your band, unless you just in it for the fee you charge to use your name...The Bel Air Ashley Furniture Store is a disgrace and what a waste of shape, the people working there for the most part are rude and lazy, have no concept of CUSTOMER SERVICE and what it means... We purchased a bedroom set there (10 pieces in all) and it has been the biggest CLUSTER F@*K in every meaning of the word CLUSTER... they make the Government look good...I will NOT by another piece of furniture from ASHLEY FURNITURE or with that NAME ON IT... I rather sit on milk crates or in mud before that happens again... Jesus himself would have to come down and tell me to do so... but then after reading this and the other reviews he may agree with me and everyone else on this message board... So I rate my experience with ASHLEY FURNITURE of BEL AIR MARYLAND phone number 410-683-8440 a 5 STAR DISAPPOINTMENT... HEED THIS WARNING...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and be happy...
