Poor customer Service
The worst customer service ever. As a matter of fact the store manager has told me 3 times that he would call me back. 3 days later he has still not called me. Poor delivery scheduling and not flexible at all. I'm home every day 7 days a week, except 1 hour in the middle of the afternoon where i have to pick up my child from school. Unfortunately that 1 hour has created a lot of trouble. There is not one human being in the corporate office or the local store that has the slightest customer service skills. The sales rep was very nice. Give her credit for that.
Was accused of lying
I would never buy or recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. The girl in customer service insinuated I was lying about what the service man said to me when he came to look at my chair. He told me the back would be replaced and then wrote in his report nothing more could be done and it met Ashley's standards. My first mistake was not getting it in writing. I have already filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs, will follow up with the Better Business Bureau and a letter to their Corporate Offices but it appears from the comments I have read here, I will not get a decent response. If they do not rectify the situation, I will tell all my friends and family NEVER to buy from Ashley's.
Never buy from Ashley
Purchased a love seat from the Newark, DE store about 2 months ago, still waiting for the right cushions. Delivered with wrong cushion, store ordered new cushions, new cushions came, now the covers don't feet the new cushion. They said they will order new covers but the instructed me to bring the cushion and the covers to the store so they can insert them. After all tis I have no intentions on taking anything to them, all I want at this point is my money back and for them to come get this junk out of my house. Don't buy from Ashley... Have pictures if anyone is interested..
Terrible Manager
I was calling to inform the Corporate office of the awful manger at one of the thier stores, I got the recepionist and I knew just by speaking with her that this was a Company that could care less about customers, I was then tranfered to another person who listen to my whole story but as soon as I was finished said that there was nothing she could do I had called the wrong number. Again, I got that impression, that she could care less about customers.I mean when you call a Companies corporate office and they are rude and will not bother to help you know its a bad place to do business. So everyone beware. Very Sad..
Awful Customer Service
Ashley Store in Savannah, Ga. Multiple delivery dates not honored. No phone calls to apologize. Store managers would not return phone calls. Rude store personnel. I will never shop in an Ashley store again.
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Customer Service, they take your money and when you get a product thats damage, they give you a hard time to fix it, they say they have a 5 star rating with customer service, ha ha ha ha yeah beware

The website says that the store in Corbin, Ky is open on Sunday 1-5. It is closed on Sunday.....wasted 26 mile trip, wasted gasoline, wasted time. After reading these other reviews maybe a good thing that they were closed.
Terrible costumer service
Ashley furniture is a terrible store and has even worse customer service. They charge for delivery and install and they wont install in once they bring it to your home. Its near impossible to get a hold of anyone in customer service and they were unwilling to help out once you do. Beware!!!
Lack of Service
They have been unable to deliver product as promised they say 30 days wrong think again on a scale of 1-10 being the best I will give them a 1 unable to fillful there promise.

We ordered a bedroom set from ashley bought it 2months ago and we bought the furniture in november. Well it is now february the 5th and they already had to replace the side rails.But the footboard and the headboard was damaged also.The delivery guys also put the bed together backwards and that's why they broke the rails.They have been lieing to us from day one saying we have some one bringing your footboard and headboard but every time we call they lie to us the footboard and headboard has not been ordered yet but they keep telling us the same sad story its getting old .Me and my wife are so tired of this bad customer service we paid 2400 for this stuff cash.Yall need to never buy from Ashley Furniture again
junk furniture buyer beware
Bought what I thought was a nice leather couch.....its actually leather and junk vinyl.......this couch has hardly ever been sat on....all the vinyl has seperated from its backing and is falling apart........this is the lowest quality vinyl available apparently........i have vinyl seats in my work truck that have 200k miles on them that look brand new and I am a heavy equipment mechanic......ashley should be out of business!!!! do not buy from them
Not happy
Went to the Vintage Store part and turned in an entry form. A salesman met us and I gave him the form. My friend and I walked through the store. The salesman, tall, gray haired and with glasses gave me my prize; a replica of a 1 ounce gold block. What this man did not know was I was interested in leather furniture. After he gave me my replica, he never asked if he could help. Walking through the Vintage part of the store and other parts; NO ONE asked if we were interested in any thing. As my friend said, "if we looked like we had money, they would have waited on us." However, we did not and did have money to buy. I will never go to this store again.
My experience is just the opposite of those above and have never written anything positive or negative before. The furniture is great, especially for the price, and the sales person was helpful. The sofa was a few days late but that happens and they explained that the sofa is so popular and their sales so good that it took another five days. Four stars!!
Never buy from here!
I should have gone on this web site befor I walked in and bought a bed set and matteres set they told me they would have all the stuff I ordered in 3 weeks that fine I told them and now 3 weeks is up and they don't know what happened. Really!!! Never again am I going to go there and buy a thing and I hope nobody else does.
Sofa Sucks
I have purchased a sofa set over a year ago from Ashley Furniture and I tought at that I was purchasing a great sturdy sofa because I made it a point to tell the sales person that I do not want a sofa that when I sit in it I sink down and is hard to get back out of the coach. Well at this time the cushion is actually sinking to the bottom....I actually need someone to grab my hand and help me up. I had contacted customer service and they said that the warrantee that I got ran out and there is nothing they can do. Know I realise that it would have been better to purchase it from Raymond and Flanigan or Meally's it may be a bit more expensive but the quality exceeds the junk that Ashley sells calling it furniture.
not satisfied
I bought a bed headboard and frame and I am extremely unhappy with it. I ordered it and a hour later I tried to cancel it because husband did not like it at all. I have not received it yet and absolutley do not want it. I feel harrassed into keeping it and paying for something I do not want. That is not how to do business and I will surely tell everyone I kinow and those I don't not to buy from ashley. I f you can fix this I will appreiciate it. I do not want that bed delivered to my home.
living room furniture junk
I purchased a pleather/faux leather living room sofa, love seat and recliner. it took over 2 months to get all 3 pieces delivered. I haven't even had the furniture 3 years and the material is cracking and rubbing off. We have no pets and children are grown. The furniture is sat in the way it was intended. It is very embarrassing to have this furniture in my living room. I expected my investment to last longer and Ashley will do nothing about it. I've filed a complaint with BBB. How can they display the BBB symbol with all these complaints? How is Ashley furniture in business? This is a company that will take your money and give poor service and quality.
Horrible company. will never buy from Ashley again. They do not back their furniture.
Horrible customer service
I bought a headboard saw that it was damaged, I contacted the store for return instructions and was informed that only the store manager could OK a return and that he would be contacting me; well he never returned my call. I going leave now and I will hauling it right through the front door.
Spoke to Customer Care at my store, apparently a franchise operation, about a problem and they could not have been more dismissive and rude. I contacted Ashley corporate - was told that the store is franchise and that I have to deal with them. What a bunch of garbage
