Very Disappointed

I order a king size bedroom set from here. 2 Months ago!!! Still never got it.... We have been laying on a mattress in my empty room. Since I through all my old stuff away. Because I was promised a date of delivery that was never true.When I call the manager never gets back to me. When I go back to the store they say in a week or two. All Lies...... Never buy anything from here. This store is a joke....!!!!!!!!!

The worst customer service ever. I have purchased sofa for my daughther 7 weeks ago, still no sofa, manager does not return phone calls. I will never shop in that store again.Corporate office has no customer service skills.

Disappointed

Bought a L shaped Sofa on January 21 2013 during the warehouse sale, paid cash for it and here it is April 3rd and still have not received it. I was told yesterday that I MIGHT have it by May 1st. The sad part is when I received the first phone call that I would have my sofa by Feb 19th I gave away all my Living Room furniture. We are now sitting on lawn furniture. I was told that I could cancel the order and get my money back, but the problem with that is I cannot buy something else at the price I bought this for.

Ashley furniture sucks

About w months After buying a couch and loveseat the pillows frayed. After Six months the cushions were like pillows flat as pancakes. After four years it feels like we are sitting on the floor. So we add pillows on the couch to stack on top of this cheap furniture til we can afford new furniture. My last couch lasted 15 years we were excited to get new furniture all I can say is DON'T BUY ASHLEY FURNITURE. BUYER BEWARE

Piece of Junk

I purchased Ashley furniture from a franchise and they broke it coming in the door have been trying for one year to fix it without anyone willing to help me! I hate Ashley will never buy again

Another dsiappointed customer

I purchased a Queen Sleigh Bed in Cottage White Finish for my 15 year old daughter Christmas 2009. Less than a year later the rail had to be replaced after breaking. Not sure why since my daughter weights hardly nothing. Ashley did replace the rail and had it delivered to my home (Thank God for the warranty). Now, here it is 3 yrs 3 months later and the replacement rail has now broken. I called Ashley, who informed me this set was discontinued in 2010. That's interesting! Why was it discontinued a year later? The Sales Manager just agreed with me '' Oh, that's not good!' I have bedroom sets much older and have never replaced the rail. I will never buy anything else from Ashley Furniture.

Definitely Not Coming Here

Thank you to all who posted there horrific stories, I hope you all get your money worth or money back this is terrible. I have to say, Ive heard that Ashley had great furniture with the right price, was looking on line and fell in love with a bedroom set and dinning room set I want...but after looking at reviews HELLLL NOOO! I would definitely end up in jail with a case if they did half the things they have done to everyone...WOW is all I have to say. Thanks again to everyone for guiding me another way and GOOD LUCK!

bought a bedroom set for our daughter and was told it was going to take a month to be delivered.Finally delivered and the hardware is missing.bed sitting in the room unassembled.after numerous calls still unresolved.the ashley store in pleasant prairie , wi , cannot get the delivery people back out to assemble the bed.there is some infighting between the store and delivery company.meanwhile i am stuck in the middle and my daughter has no bed to sleep on.all her stuff is in the middle of the living room.what a joke .

Delivery

Purchased two chairs 3/12/13. Was told by the sales person that the chairs would be delivered to their Myrtle Beach store by 3/18/13 and then we would be called to schedule a delivery. Called store 3/20/13 and was told by rudely by the clerk that answered the phone that we would be notified when the furniture was en-route and then called to schedule delivery. Salesperson was not truthful, Office clerk was rude and still haven't received a call back telling me what is going on w/the furniture which was paid in full the date of purchase.

Purchased living room set, the love seat had a defect, they came to pick it up to repair or replace, 3 months later still haven't heard from them, when i finally get thru to customer service they give me the run around, i have no idea how there still able to be in business! They need to be shutdown because they are nothing but crooks!!!

Customer Service

After purchasing several thousand dollars of products their costomer service would not even answer their phone after repeated calls. No help means no business with me anymore!

Not informed and sold furniture

I purchased a cahise lounge from them on friday during a sale they were having and asked about transport of it because I only had a car. I paid for it that day and they put a tag on it as SOLD. And I finally come in Tuesday ready to pick it up and they tell me everything had been sold from then and there was nothing in their store anymore, they got rid of it all. They then told me that it had to have been picked up by Sunday at 3 pm which I was never told about when I paid for it and even explained when I would be getting it and the guy was like ok that will be fine. So they sold a piece of furniture to someone else that I had already purchased. They didn't even have the nerves to call me and tell me anything

Crappy Leather

Bought a leather reclining sofa and 2 reclining chairs in 2011 at Ashley Furniture in Houston Texas.Tried to clean one of the chairs with leather cleaner and the color came off.Went to the store and talked to the salesman who sold me my furniture.He talked to his manager.Called me later and said they could not do anything.Also purchased the extened warranty.Save your money. Not worth crap.Will never buy from them again.

Wrong

I bought my furniture from Ashley and they delivery my sofa and love seat the wrong address by a delivery person they had chosen when I call to tell them I was coming pick up my furniture they presented to me a scratch and dent set which I refused they took my money the furniture and move without alerting of their where about . I stay can believe this is actually happen in America.

Do not buy from Ashley

Long story short-We bought a couch that looked good at a good price. However, we did not get eight years out of it before the frame actually broke. We had similar Sears products for at least 15 years. We'd like to dump it on the stairs of their corporate headquarters for all to see the junk they sell.

Not a happy customer

January we ordered a diningroom table with chairs. Here it is march and we still have no table. My husband calls their office and we keep getting the same story...it will b there in a few days. What is so hard about giving me what we paid for. Yhis wasnt credit we paid it outright n owe nothing. How do u force a company to give u what u paid for?

Delivery Service

I have bought furniture from Ashley furniture in the past and had a good experience. I recently purchased additional furniture when I relocated and it has been nightmare. The delivery service and customer serive is terrible. I ordered a dining room set and when the delivery came, they only delivered the chairs and table base. The delivery people told me that there was not top ordered for the table. WTF...who orders a dining set and doesn't order a top. The delivery people also assembled the furniture outside and set it on the ground before bringing it into my apartment. They did not clean it nor tighten any of the parts. I contacted the store manager three days ago where I purchased the items and I'm still waiting on a confirmation of when the top will be delivered. I would suggest that anyone buying furniture go somewhere else unless you only want part of your order delivered.

Going Elsewhere

I'm considering buying a new couch/loveseat recliners and went to the local Ashley showroom. I was impressed by their prices, but always look for online reviews before purchasing. Also checked BBB for reviews. Thank you to everyone who posted reviews. As a result of the negative comments primarily about delivery and product, I've researched another furniture store and am going elsewhere. If the corporate office takes no ownership of its franchisees, I won't spend my money at Ashley Furniture.

Thank God For Refunds

Before writing the previous review I had not read any of the reviews, but I can thank God that George in the Buckhead, Atlanta was so rude and inconsiderate I have my refund and will go some where else. Thanks againGeorge.
