Worst Customer Service

Purchased a sofa on 2/18 President's Day sale. As of Easter, it was still not available and they would not set up a delivery date for me although I had paid in full. Asked for a refund, was told it would take 21 business days, it is now 24 business days later and they're saying I'll get it next week. Sure I will. No one ever calls back when they say they will. Terrible experience. I strongly urge everyone to shop elsewhere.

Worst product and the worst customer service

Don't purchase any furniture from them, because they are a rip off, I spend about $5,000 for a bedset, mattress and couches, they delivered everything very late, when delivering they broke off the bed handle and the cushions for the couch doesn't fit I been trying to get a hold of manager for the past two months and I called cooperate they asked me to call the manager again, it's like they are wasting my time and wasted my money as well. Please go to Ikea everything has quality and is worth your money and time.

Personnel Issues

I suggest if you're looking at a job at this location, you think twice about it. I HIGHLY suggest Undercover Boss for this Company! There seems to be issues in several areas! Sad.

Ashley now uses compressed wood, not real leather, and the material they use is now brought pre-cut/made in China.

Their warranty is a scam

I purchased a $2000.00 bedroom set for my son in 2009 and paid $85.00 for a 5 year extended warranty. After 3 1/2 years the footboard literally fell apart, when I called Ashley Furniture in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia they said the can no longer honor the warranty because there is a new store owner who wants nothing to do with arrangements that were made by the previous owner. This is not an arrangement with me and the previous owner, it is an arrangement with me and Ashley Furniture according to the receipt so shouldn't the new owner have to live up to the agreement. I have bought a lot of furniture from Ashley in the past but never again.

I had a question regarding my billing and after talking to customer service, who was extremely rude, they hung up on me. I'm not ever buying from them again!

Don't ever buy from this store!! They have the worst customer service. We were told and signed a waiver that our furniture would be 50 months interest free. After 12 months, we are now being charged interest. The GM called us liars and told us there is nothing they can do about it. She offered us $350 off our invoice if we drop the issue and not to mentioned was VERY rude to us. Never again will I buy from them.

This company is the worst furniture store to ever purchase furnature from, when you are in the store they are friendly and eager to get you to make a purchase, once they have you, you are no longer important, we spent alot of money on furniture and when it was delivered it part of it was damaged, they did a second delivery which was also damaged, I am tired of their lies and unprofessionalism. they don't return calls and are arrogant when they do, no one should have to go through this type of trouble.

I bought a mattress set and a sofa. So far the mattress set is 2 weeks past delivery due date. I sure wish I had read these reviews before spending my money at the store in New Bern, NC. If they can't get a mattress set to me I doubt I'll ever see the sofa. Definitely will never deal with this company again.

I purchased furniture from Ashley furniture store in Palm Desert. Upon delivery my pillows had been missing and ended up in the trash wrappers in the truck. My assessories had been wroing and also the color of the rug. When I asked to have the rug replaced I have been told to bring the other rug to the store. Living over 100 miles away not possible naot with a delivery fee. No more Ahley furniture for me

More lies

We purchased a chair with an ottoman in the Saskatoon store and payed up front. Ashley gave us a delivery which they have now changed three times. Upon complaining about this, the Saskatoon staff became belligerent and told us that we had 48 hours from the time of purchase to cancel. How do you cancel within 48 hours if they are running on arbitrary delivery dates that they know from the time of sale they have absolutely no intention of adhering to? The Saskatoon store has only been open a few years and has already received a "B" rating from the better business bureau. Today I will be contacting the BBB in an effort to further lower their rating. 36 pages of similar complaints. Coincidence.........

Poor Shipping Material

I have recently purchased 2 beds and bedding from Ashley. I understand that it takes time to deliver the products, but when my order was delivered a month later, one bed had the wrong headboard (which meant my child slept on the mattress and box springs on the floor). Then one month later (give or take a day) they bring the right headboard with the WRONG hardware! Now, MAYBE, they can fix it tomorrow! I have lots of Ashley furniture, but this will be the last i buy! When called by the store rep, I asked for a number where I could complain, and was told that there is no number that can be given out! DONE WITH ASHLEY!!!

Extended Service Warranty Insurance Is a Rip-Off

In 2008 I purchased approximately $15,000 in new furniture. It was recommended by the sales person that I should also purchase an extended warranty insurance for an additional fee, which I did. I purchased a 5 year service contract through a second company named, Montage. In the 5 years of having this furniture I made one claim, in 2009 and lastly a claim, in 2012. Here is where the issue aroused. During a move in December 2011, I was not able to seperate the bed rail from the foot board, so I broke the foot board from the rail to seprate the two pieces. I called Montage to make a claim for repair a few days after wheb I finished my move-in to my newe home. A customer service rep with Montage said he could not find me in the system but would return my call as soon as he could confirm service. I never heard from the service rep. I called Montage a second time where I was emailed a hyper link to a form which I filled out and mailed to Montage. Montage emailed me a service denial claiming that I had exceeded their 14 day service claim notice. I called Montage hoping that if I could explain what happened they might reverse the serice denial. I waas wrong. The managers were only concerned with the 14 day laps. I explained to the managers that the reason for the laps wasn't due to the 14 days laps but because the Montage rep had not retuning my call......I was told they had no record of such a call and that the denial would stand. Montage has my money which I paid for service. I called Ashleys Furniture to report the issue and I was told that Montage is not a part of Ashleys Furniture, only a second business partner providing a service.This is bad business and I no longer have confidence in Ashleys Furniture or its business partners. I will no longer do business with Ashleys Furniture and I am informing all of my friends and family to stay clear. I suggest you do the same.

Ashley has very poor service; I purchased a living room set and management was rude at the Northridge location and the delivery was a little late but I dealt with that. The frustrating part is when I got the bill and it doesn't represent what was discussed at the purchase and you have to go back and forth faxing documentation to their offices to get this resolved. This is not worth the hassle, stay away.....

Ridiculous.

I bought several thousand dollars worth of furniture. I had a great experience in the store and delivery was on time. However, the delivery men left trash in my front yard and did not put a support pole on my bed frame. The bed frame broke the first time I laid on it and I received the run-around for a full week before finally talking to a customer service rep that felt empathy and agreed to exchange the bed, along with a mirror that looks rotten, a butterfly table with a nail hole/wood chip, and a sofa table with a section of unfinished wood. Not to mention the server was back ordered and I received the wrong rug. Prior to talking to this fine rep I was being told I'd have to wait 2 weeks for a technician to come out and look at the pieces in hopes of being able to fix them, and if they couldn't be fixed it would take longer. Warranties or not, furniture should last more than a day and their customer service should have better solutions initially, not after 10 phones calls, threats of returning everything, and talking to multiple representatives. Getting ready to call corporate. If I don't receive a discount/refund on delivery/or some time of redemption for this hassle I will definitely not be recommending this company to anyone.

attempt to purchase a dining room suite from local dealer in Leeds Alabama

NBC furniture store in Leeds, Alabama ordered and assured me of a phone call to notify me of arrival of a diningroom suite made by Ashley furniture. D213 to be exact. They took my name and personal information to call me upon arrival. I checked in with them on several occasions. Today on 4/11/13 I went by the store only to find out that they sold my item to someone else knowing that I was waiting on it. My heart was set on this room of furniture. I want everyone to know not to shop with this dealer as they do not care about you. I will be posting complaints about this dealer on every site I know.

Never had a worst experience buying furniture in my life!

This is the most disorganized furniture store I have ever dealt with! The salesman gave us a quote on the pieces we looked at in the store and when we got to the counter to pay for it he was $1000.00 off on the price!!! The furniture is now ready to be delivered and the salesman calls 4 days prior to tell me that he has to charge me $30.00 to setup the bunk bed set, but don't worry there is no charge to set up the other beds we bought, are you kidding me! This place is a scam and needs to be held accountable for there horrible business practices!!! DON'T SHOP HERE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF EVERY CHANCE THEY GET!!!!!

Horrible Company

I bought a $2,300 dollar bed with extended warranty, 2 yrs into having the bed one side sinks in and they said the warranty does not cover that because its memory foam and not a spring....Real shady company I have never heard anything good about them

Not a good experience

First, the sales guy (probably knowingly) gave me wrong information about the same as cash program. The first thing I asked when I stepped in the door was if they had any such thing and with that used car salesman type of smile assured me they had a 5 year same as cash program. Only when I was signing the last papers did I notice it said "24 months". I raised the flag about that, they called the salesperson over and he very non-apologetically explains that's if you spend $5000 or more. Hardly a minor oversight. With enough complaining they gave me 36 months. It's not that I need that much time, more of the principle of the thing. On top of that he first assured me it would be delivered the next week, only to find out after the sale 3 of the 4 pieces weren't in stock and were on back order. Took 5 weeks to get the furniture, but it turned out that most of that is that Ashley, to my amazement and unlike anyone I've ever dealt with before, dictates not only what day of the week they deliver to your area, but you can't even decide if you want the morning or afternoon delivery window. Absolutely amazing. That's the most pathetic business practice I've ever experienced. Again though, after much complaining they arranged to have it delivered on a Saturday. But guess what? My furniture was put on the wrong truck and it never made it, so I had to set aside the next Saturday too to finally receive it and even then, and after several calls to find out the status, they were almost 2 hrs late. At 3:00 pm I was told they'd be there in 30 mins or less. It was almost 5:30 before they showed up. And to top off everything I'm not having to deal with the fact that what they turned into the finance company was for the 24 month term, not the 36. Nor, over a month later, has the $325 refund been received by the finance company for the extended warranty I was charged for that I had specifically told them I didn't want. I'll never do business with this company again, and that's an understatement. For what it's worth, this was the Alliance Town Center store in Fort Worth.
