Allstate's Drivewise Program
Be warned the the Drivewise unit can damage your computer port which could cause Thousands of dollars to repair. These ports on cars are not designed to hold a unit in place for long periods only to get short readings such as when at a repair shop. Our Drivewise unit broke the pins to the port and has been estimated to be repaired at $1900.00

Every Allstate agent that I've ever tried to deal with has provided me with a terible experience. As an insurance agent myself I try to provide a good Customer Service Experience to my clients even when they are moving to another company. NOT ALLSTATE AGENTS, they underinsure to get the business - never mind what's in the clients best interest. We educate our clients so that they understand what they are buying, Shame on every agent who does not look out for their client. Here's a warning and I hope that if you're reading this that you take heed.
Worst Experience EVER Homeowner's Cla
I had Allstate for over 20 years on home, auto, boat and this past Christmas I had a tree fall into my house. Not only did my agent NOT EVER call me back, it took 3 days to get someone at the 800 number to FILE a claim for me. Now over four months later, after following EVERY rule and jumping through every one of their ridiculous hoops, my claim is STILL NOT PAID and I have 100% email proof that the work was approved!!! Anyone interested in a class action suit? I have iron clad documentation. Allstate's goals are to reach a 13% return on equity in 2014 and you should check out what they made last year! This is criminal!

just canceled my policy with liberty mutaul.my all state agent had me send letter of cancellation so i did recvd all my new all state copys of insurance.my agent call me today a week later and says he has bad news for me,wich is that my home owners is canceld with all that totally not right......plz help

my sun roof to my car was shattered i believe by a rock i call all state told them what happened they told me i could pick what ever shop i wanted so i called the dealership all state call me back and said they couldnt accept the dealers price and referred me to there preferred shop because the prices had already been set so in otherwords i could use whom ever i want but if its more than our preferred shop you must pay the differences so they are forcing me to use there shop.the dealer had the glass in shop ready to go the shop all state wants me to use is 2000 miles away would have to ship it fom mich. to cali. now i have to take 2 days off work for the glass to be installed all the wild my car is beeing exposed to the elements. if the would have agreed to the dealers price which was no more than 200 dollars more my car would have been ready the sane day, Can i just get my window fixed PLEASE.......

I am absolutely appalled at Allstate for raising our insurance. We were told that because of Hurricane Sandy we must eat the cost for auto insurance. Are you kidding me! Sorry that people lost their homes and cars, but why should we be responsible for their losses.

why arent insurance companies making gun owners pay a premium for their liability on home owners insurance? If a dog is considered a danger a higher premium is required- we need an updated policy for each weapon in homes- there is serious money to be made by insurance companies.

I havie the Allstate at work disability insurance. I have this insurance to prevent loss of income when or if I am out of work and disabled. This insurance was formally known as "AMERICAN HERITAGE" until allstate purchased the product line. Since Allstate has taken over this product, claims are paid SLOW at best. MOST of the time they are not PAID AT ALL!! YOU CAN NEVER TALK TO ANYONE THAT HAS ANY KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR CLAIM. YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT IN GOOD HANDS. . TIM

With Allstate you are in bad hands. They are a disgrace to every insurance agency and my particular agent is a total disappointment. They apologize and they think by doing that, they are performing customer service. My blessing does not go with the money that I pay them.
after 27 yra withallstate wew never made claims nowthe past few yrs we had 5 due to bad weather and broken pipes ruining our floors so we needed new floors so they droped us after so many claims why do we need insurane for show? WE ARE QUITE UNHAPPY WITH THEM
Back in July, My husband and I was enjoying a daily ride with our motorcyle UP until we broke down and realized we had a dead battery! We happen to break down near a fuel station (thank-goodness). We than contacted Allstate RoadSide Ass' immediately and asked specifically for our local office. I was placed on hold for nearly 15 (and mind you, the heat was excessive and my hubby became ill!) I FINALLY was able to talk to someone, explain our situation (repeatedly), and they placed me on hold AGAIN for nealry an hour! AGAIN I was transfered to another CSR assuming I was still sepaking to a CSR from the RoadSide Ass' Dep, AND again I had to explain my situation several times...at this point I was LIVID. my hubby couldn't handle the excessive heat, so I had asked them I NEED HELP! My hubby than took over the conversation elaborating what had happened. they asked for our membership number. they than placed him on hold AGAIN...he waited. and waited. and waited. and, come to find out, the CSR had hung up on him. My hubby than contaced RSA AGAIN, asked specifically for our local office, and guess what.....he was transfered to INDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they had informed us we had NO RSA membership so therefore, the CSR had indicated to my hubby that we needed to have a CC to purchase the membership for ONLY $75 in order to get the service! My hubby had used explicit language and told them to FORGET IT! That evening, I had contacted Allstate, reviewed our policy and guess what...we had indeed the RSA and we were treated soooooooooooooo unfairly that day that my hubby had told me to cancel our policy and till this day, we are still awaiting our refund of $900.00. I can reassure you this Allstate, I will NEVER EVER recommend anyone to your company. and as a result of this nightmare we encountered that day we received from Allstate was a MEANINGLESS APOLOGY from the Corporate Office! to all you policy holders out there, we are strictly a number to them nothing more. It's all about their $$$$$PROFITS$$$$
I would not advise anyone to get insurance with allstate i had an auto accident in july and my car was totalled here it is september and the deduced 240.00 out of my checking account and i dont even have a car i wouldnt get my dog insurance with allstate they suck
My home was damaged by a hailstorm on June 19th 2012. I filed a claim with allstate following the storm. They came back with a lowball offer saying it was only minimal damage. They offerd me 8,000.00. I hired a public adjuster to come out and look at the damage. He came up with over 30,000.00 in damage. Now Allstate says they will only pay for similar items. My siding was a premium siding by certianteed. Allstate says they will only pay for the closest match as decided by itel. Which happens to be by some unknown company and the only thing that matches is the original color. The texture is not the same, the thickness is not the same, the slope is not the same. It is ridiculous. STAY AWAY FROM ALLSTATE. YOUR ONLY IN GOOD HANDS WHEN YOUR GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY, NOT WHEN THEY HAVE TO GIVE YOU THEIRS.....
I have been with Allstate approximately 30 plus years. I have not had a claim in about 20 years. I am the type of person that try not to use my insurance unless I absolutely have to. My water well was destroyed by a lighting storm. I had a well repair person come out to fix it. He stated the lighting had melted the pump to the casing and etc. To make a long story short, the well was destroyed and all the outside pole lighting in that area. The electrician said lighting had struck it or it had strucked near by. Allstate sent a forensic engineerer from another state to try proving it was not from lighting. I was not satisfied with the denial of the claim. I am now looking to find another insurance. Surely, you are not in good hands with Allstate
A hail storm came through my town. I was the first on the block to file a claim for hail damage on my roof. Allstate has been my company for 25yrs along with auto. This company makes the client jump through hoops to get any claim money. I had 2 roofing contractors and a couple who do CAT duty with any insurance co. ALL agree damage to my roof. My agent sudden became rude and would even stand up for me. The adjuster was rude to my contractors. Needless to say Allstate denied my claim! But here is the kicker....3 of my neighbors with in 500 ft are now getting new roofs by their ins co. They don't have Allstate and your not in good hands. Allstate has their reputation of not paying out!
I have a close friend who is married & has children. Around the first of Aug. their home was burglarized. Many of their possessions were taken, among them were a lot of their children's clothes. Allstate has made this already devastating experience even more so by hurling accusations at them, accusing one of their children of having something to do with the theft! This family is well respected. She & her husband have good jobs & are well able to provide their family with everything they need. Yet Allstate has "suggested" they change their statement about the theft. It is appalling to me that they are all but being accused of outright lying. They are being treated as though THEY are the perpetrators rather than the victims! It's like a woman being raped & treated as tho she caused the rape to occur! I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE!! Word if mouth is a powerful thing. Especially with forums such as Facebook, twittter, etc.
I would definitely chsooe the $ 5 million lifetime maximum. I have a friend (she's only 27) who has battled cancer and already used about $ 1.8 million in insurance benfits. She's had the policy for about 6 years and has a $ 4 million dollar lifetime maximum. If things continue, she will exhaust that maximum too.If anyone in your family gets cancer or HIV or some other terrible long term illness, $ 1 million will run out before you know it. Think about it you're paying an extra $ 40 a month for an extra $ 4 million in coverage. It will take you over 8300 years of paying $ 40 per month to make up for that extra $ 4 million dollars in coverage and that's only for one person, not four.It's unlikely anybody in your family will ever exhaust the $ 1 million in coverage but for 5 times as much coverage it's worth the extra premium.
