I feel that the Stamp Saver program that Albertsons has from time to time is a scam. They are always out of the product that I save stamps for, this has happened for the last three years and I've had enough. I shop at two Albertsons, one on Ellsworth and Baseline (they are keeping a list of cutomers and the item you are trying to obtain). The other Albertsons that I do business with is located on Power Rd. and Broadway, they do not keep a list and all I get told is "We don't know." I am contacting the Attorney General for the State of Arizona to file a complaint and I hope everyone else will do the same. Albertsons, you've lost a good customer.
I'm playing the Albertson's "Wish Big" "Win Big" I have become very disappointed because I've been playing the game from day 1 and spend lots of money buying the groceries that have gone up in price. It is the supermarket in my neighborhood in Long Beach, CA but I'm in between 2 Albertson's but I choose to go to the downtown store. I have become frustrated we've spent hundreds of dollars buying our groceries and I'm getting a lot of games pieces but they are DUPLICATES of what I already have. I've exchanged some games pieces with my co-workers who live in Orange County, CA and received a few pieces that I didn't have I'm ok with that my concern is that where is a "WINNERS LIST" where we can see if anyone is really winning. Is this a ploy for me and other loyal shoppers to continue to shop? Really I'm getting fed up. The downtown Long Beach store is a good store I like it because the workers are courteous and helpful and the store is clean. Give us some winners!
I would like to know why albertsons being the only grocery store in a small town like Lewistown, Mt. can raise thrir prices so higth, most the town can,t even afford to shop there, we make a trip to Great Falla Mt., or Billing Mt. once a month to by our grocerys. It really is a ,same that a corp. like albertsons can allow something like this to happen in a small town. jeanette turner 411 w barnes lewistown, mt. 59457
Well I do know there are winners. Someone here in the Paso Robles California store won the LED TV. I'm Still waiting for my turn though! LOL And by the way to the person who commented about sending in the $1,000 Big Win on an index card... You can cut card stock paper to that exact size and it is a 3x5 card. Also cutting it out of the game sheet and losing the $10.00 game on the back of it should not be a concern. The big win is over January 31 and the $1,000 drawing does not have to be postmarked until February 14. Does anyone know if there is there a list available telling us which items have already been won? By the way, This Albertsons store in Paso Robles is super. The Manager Gary is always friendly, and helpful... In fact everyone is. The Manager is always a happy person and obviously loves his job. A very friendly store to shop in. Other Albertsons I've shopped in could take some lessons from this one.
I always thought Albertsons was a good store, I have been loyal and shopped to recive stamps for small appliances. Well I have saved and went to cash in on product and guess what? Albertsons only order a few at a time and put your name on a list, I think this is a big joke!! Albertsons should honor this product promotion and have it in stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I guess I will have to shop King Soopers or Safeway.
I have been playing the Albertson Win Big game for the last 2 months. My Albertson store is located on Crenshaw Bld in Los Angeles,CA. This a very busy story I have been a loyal customer for many years and I am sure that this store brings in alot of revenue. This pass week-end I spent over 150.00 in groceries and the cashier gave me over 50 game tickets and over 95% of them were the same. No one has won anything out of this story. I am begainning to think this game is rigged are you sending the same tickets to the same store over and over again. To much money spent and not any winners something is wrong with this picture.
On numerous occasions I have needed help, and EVERYONE (at the Albertson's store at the corner of Scottsdale Rd and Thomas Rd in Scottsdale, Arizona) has bent over backwards to help me -- thank you all.
I was at the Albertson's store in Rio Rancho, NM and went to check out at the Customer Service. I had several items which I thought should have been prized for the same amount, but not aware that it only applies to the first 4 items, etc., in the meantime the young lady who took care of me had to call for assitance from management up front. The women who I am familiar with named Lorraine came to assist her and was very condensending and rude to the young lady who I thought was about to cry. She was treated with no respect and for management to act like this was unprofessional and inappropriate. I thought everyone should work together and help one another. This women whom I have been in her line before is always talking loud and always talking about someone. Management needs to be aware of the abuse of employees treating other employees. Bad business.
I would give Albertson's a better rating if the company would recognize and close for one day and that is CHRISTMAS! Why are your stores in Dallas open on Christmas day? Why are the employees not allowed to rest and have a day with family???? This is ridiculous!!! What ever happened to companies giving their employees some respect for their hard work during the holiday season???? Stop being a Grinch and allow your employees a day of rest.
THAT BIG WIN GAME IS A WASTE OF TIME-LITTLE STAMPS THAT DO NOT STICK AND YOU HAVE TO GO BACK AND FORTH TO SEE WERE TO STICK THEM----DONT GO THRU THE SELF CHECKOUT IT WONT TAKE YOUR PHONE NUMBER FOR ANY POINTS---YOU LOOSE ALL YOUR POINTS IF YOU DONT HAVE AT THE END OF A QUARTER---THEY DONT CARRY FORWORD ---4999 POINTS YOU HAVE NONE TOMORROW --- ENTIRE SYSTEM POINTS AND GAME SHAM SUCKS--THEY WANT MORE CUSTOMERS--HIRE ME AND ALL TELL YOU WHATS WRONG!!!!!!!!
Does your corporate people think they are gods or better then any of there employees I shop at 3 different stores in my area and I have wittnesed personally them talking there managers and employees like dogs instead of jumping in and helping theres a way to talk to you employees and teach them especially when they are always working like drone bees. I hate when I'm shopping there and you guys are there you can always tell when you all are at a store cause there are no smiles on your employees faces .
I have to say even though I worked for this company they REALLY have no clue to what CUSTOMER SERVICE is. I worked the customer service booth and the store I worked for should be happy I did. I treated every customer EQUALY and FAIRLY. Even when employee friends or family came in they still had to wait in line like everyone else and I did not care if it pissed off some of the supervisors. I was treated like shit for sticking my ground. I eventually got a better paying job before quitting. Their bullying attempts made me sick to my stomach. I hated the way they treated other people they thought were lower than them. The front office door was right next to the booth I worked and I would hear them speak. Disgusting people. How can these people be managers or supervisors ? Where was the leadership and set by example ? I quit this job back in 2008 but to this day I am still bothered by an incident that happened when I went to get my last check. I waited with my 5 year old daughter by the office door for my check. One of the supervisors came out to take to me and distracted me while another retched supervisor FLORA took my daughter int the office. After speaking to the supervisor and realizing my daughter was not besides me I became frantic looking everywhere and calling her. They did not release her from the locked office door until 10 minutes of me in tears. It's a shame that store closed and I have no idea where that stupid bitch FLORA works now. I should have and could have sued for her "funny" little prank. It's also a shame I pawned my gun.... I suppose for the good. KARMA BITCH !!!
Why are there no Albertsons stores in San Antonio Texas? We only have 4 grocery stores here I have gone to Houston and there are a few Albertsons there Some people here would like another big grocery chain to do our shopping at.
Summer, it is that easy...I went to Walgreens and bought 3x5 index cards and affixed my stamp to the card and mailed it in. I hope everyone gets frustrated like you and then hopefully I will win $1K shopping spree-yipeeeee!
Regarding Albertsons Insulting to the Consumer 'Wish Big, Win Big' sweepstakes and Sandy's questions about the 28 drawings for $1,000. It stated to affix them to a 3x5 index card but if you cut these out to paste them on the 3x5 card to mail them as an entry, the other cash prize symbols on the back will be ruined. "Doesn't make any sense." Exactly! I decided the game was so ridiculously time consuming and tedious that I would only go for the $1000 drawing and, upon encountering the same issue, I wondered if you just paste the 2 game pieces to a 3x5 card? I looks incomplete when you do that, but the instructions say to affix 01 and 02 to a 3x5 card; it doesn't say to paste them to the picture and then affix to the index card (seriously, how many people these days have 3x5 cards hanging around?). I think this is intentionally deceitful. How could there possibly be any other answer? I was of the opinion that Albertson's corporate should be ashamed of themselves for creating this game even before I realized the issue with pieces 01 and 02 and the 3x5 index card!!! At least they quit telling customers it was like monopoly. I got the game "board" home and starting tearing the pieces open and moistening and affixing them to the board, and could not find any connection to monopoly whatsoever. Hmm. I saw an ad that featured the little man from monopoly and figured I had the wrong game board. When next at the store, a few hundred dollars later and being handled a fistfull of game pieces, I asked for the monopoly game and was informed I had the right board; there was only one game being played right now, to which I responded "then quit telling people it's like monopoly; it's absolutely nothing like monopoly." The response I received was that they tell people it's like monopoly so they understand there's a board and pieces and . . . . Really? What AM I missing?
Well, I DID manage to spend over $1900 in Albertsons, saved 190 stickers for a food processor for this promotion that is supposed to end in January, and now I can't get my hands on a food processor because their warehouse is supposedly out of them. Can you say bait and switch? I can. I bet the NM attorney general can, too.
I shop at Albertson's almost daily. I have no complaint about products, service or any employee. In fact everyone I have had contact with has been No.1. My complaint is that on Thanksgiving and Christmas every corporate executive and stock holders be required to work from 10 AM to 8 PM at an Albertson's store right along with your employees. Because these two days are family oriented holidays and you clowns are at home with your loved ones, getting fat on the holiday goodies and the employees are stuck working to improve your income and bonuses. You heartless bastards need somebody to ring your bell so you can have feeling for those that are making you rich. You and those assholes in Washington must have attended stupidity school together. To set things straight-- I am not related to or have friends or any other connection to any employee of Albertson's. I have a casual customer relationship with those worknig in store 6061. I hope your holiday food gives you plenty of reason to spend the next few days stuck on the toilet...
Seriously?? I shop at my local Albertsons at least 2 times a week and when they came out with the Cusinart Appliances that you could save stamps for, I was excited. I mean I spend the money anyway, so why not get things for free?? Who would think that someone could complain about free things?? Well the stamp saving started around the end of September and it is now the middle of November and after diligently saving my teeny tiny little stamps that could easily be lost, I found out that I would never get enough stamps for the food processor. (190 stamps) For those of you not familiar with this program, let me explain. For every $10 you spend you get a stamp to affix to a little booklet. There are different appliances at different stamp amounts and if not you can either use the stamps and money or purchase without any stamps. So after almost 2 months of saving I had enough to get an electric can opener...valued at $24.99.... FREE with the stamps...60 of them!!! Thats $600!!! FOR A CAN OPENER???? And then the food processor would be $1900!!! REALLY?!?!?!?!?!? I think that you need to rethink this process and really reward the loyal customers and the new customers that you need.
The only reason I go to the Albertsons in Bend, Oregon is because of the Deli and staff that work there. Evelyn is outstanding!!! She takes so much pride in her work and goes way out of her way to make things perfect for every customer. I only hope that Evelyn gets the acknowledgement that she deserves from this posting. The rest of the store is overpriced compared to other markets in the area, but no other store offers the service that Evelyn delivers.
I spent over $300 on groceries that I don't need in order to get game pieces. Wishing to win some prizes. Is there really a winning game piece out there? Are those prizes all taken? That's why I didn't get any new winning (different) game pieces!!! Last week, I shopped at 3 different Albertsons' locations and got hundread of game pieces, but they are all the same from what I already had. I've already spent $40 for stamps for $1,000 Albertsons shopping spree sweeptakes. Am I going to win anything from Albertsons? I think McDonald's is much better. I got a lot of food prizes from McDonald's Monopoly game, at least I did get something back from playing the game.
