I have a 2001 toyota tocoma pickup that I had them order new catalitic converters for, to the tune of over $500. They called the next day and I went and got them. The next day I removedthe old ones, I then started to install the new ones when I found out that the gaskets they gave me did not fit. Then I had to use the old gaskets. Also where the two converters bolt together, the flanges that the bolts go thru were not welded corectly so part of the pipe stuck out past the flange about two inches so they could not be bolted together. I call the store where I bought them and the guy said well what do you want me to do, I didn't make them and if you don't want them then bring them back. Now mind you thatI have spentover three hours removing the old ones and trying to install the new ones and there is no way I can return them because I would have to remove them and then I will hove no exhaust and get a ticket. Long story short I had to modify my exhaust to make them fit and sprend about seven hours under my truck. If they were the last parts place on this earth I would not get a thing from them. Oh yes when I told the manager that I wanted to return then he told me that I couldn't because I had ground them down so that would fit. I have been working on cars since the early 60s and have never had such a mess, what ever happened to customer service. I guess they are making so much money that they don't need to give a crap when they screw a cash paying customer.

I walked in bought some cleaner for my car onfriday and was fired on saturday.. WTF!!!!!

I was ordering at the KFC and my car decided to died right there at the window, I got help and then proceeded to go over to one of your stores there in Easton, MD #2294 where this nice young man named Ricky was helping me and that day was 102 degrees outside but he took the time to help me discover the problem with my car and let me wait in the store as my battery was getting charged to see what was going on and he was so great and wonderful that once we discovered the problem that I bought the product I needed for my car so I am so grateful for people like him to go the extra mile because I was ready to pay him for charging the battery and all but he said no charge...such great service and wonderful people. Thank you...

Terrible customer service at Corporate.. First of all Id like to speak to someone that I can understand that is not working out of somewhere in India, next I have been transferred more times than I can count.. its just pure incompetency.. Beginning to wonder if Im EVER going to get a straight answer out of anyone..

This is not for the store which is in Pueblo, Co on Highway 50. This is for an employee who works there. I have been in this store several times and have wondered around the store looking for parts. There has never been a time when an employee has asked if I needed any help, until a new employee started working there. I believe her name is Becky. When I walked into the store, I was greeted and asked if I needed any help finding anything. Wow, That was a first. It was really nice to be addressed and helped upon entering the store.

I will not deal with advanced auto in biddeford Maine the manager Dave is always high on pot along with the other employee reece behind the counter neither one has a clue about being an auto technician gives ya parts off there return table an thinks our customers cars are suppose to run after 3 starters I finally get a decent one. I'm personally tired of installing junk parts from them. I've been dealing with advanced auto since they bought out parts America. They don't care about our garages anymore then the customer off the street that's why I will be sending my business back to Napa til advanced gets decent. Drug free employees back to work for them. There's a thing called a drug test advanced auto try doing it an ya can get real employees.real businesses check there employees periodically. Sorry for your loss of business from my Shop but my customers depend on me an so don't there families to keep there cars safety rolling an im personally tired of my business losing money because of yours.

I find it interesting to see so many women complaints. This must be an overall problem with most of the stores. I went to my local store today to have the diagnostics checked on my car because the check engine light had come on. This was the Abingdon, VA store. The first person I encountered was very polite telling me someone would be right with me. He went outside to assist the person in front of me. The other two workers however did not even look my way and proceeded to help the men in the store. One of them told me after I wait him for help that the fellow who was outside had the machine which was not true. He handed the machine to a man who came in long after me and allowed him to use it. Needless to say I went to AutoZone and got all the help I needed.

I bought a new battery july6 2012 I was informed then that they don,t install batterys in 2005 chrysler sebring but they have a man that installed them for 25 dollars. I agreeded. I picked up the car later and I droved about 2 blockes and noticied the radio light and time was not working I returned to store and informed Kieth s. of my problem and they don,t st the codes on radio. I then called the manthat they called to installed battery HE TOLD ME HE DOSE, NDT PUT CODE IN RADIO AND HAS NOTHING to do with the code. what do i do no now? I spent 1 spent 138.00 dollars not counting when I repace battery.what do I do now

I would like to rate one your employees a 5 star plus. His name is Victor. I do not know his last name. He works at your Lexington, Ky store located on 3490 Richmond Road. Victor is very knowledgible about automobiles. I first went to the store and met Victor in April of this year. I purchased a motor for the Driver Side power window for my 2002 Lincoln Town Car. On July 2nd of this year I returned to the store and told Victor that my window was not working properly. I described what was wrong and he suggested that I try a Regulator since I had just bought a new motor back in April. He said that my problem had to be in the motor or regulator. I purchased the regulator and later discovered that my problem was in the motor. He politely told me that the motor was still under warranty and refunded my money for the regulator and gave me credit for the old motor that I returned to the store. Because of Victor-I will never trade any where else. May God Bless Victor and Advance Auto. Keep up the good work!

wake up corp.. u r firing all the good in store help and the best drivers u ever had!your chatham store now is plum pitiful. no one in there has a smile on there face or happy to see a customer like me come in the store. i also am a comm. client--was a comm. client--. i,d rather go to a place where the people are friendly and glad to see me rather than have someone try to sell me something i dont need. i am sure no one in your store knows more about auto parts than me. all i ask is for a reasonable price,and a friendly,nice person to sell it to me. untill i see some changes i WILL be taking ALL my busness to FISHER,AUTO ZONE,anywhere there are good people. AGAIN-YOUR CHATHAM STORE,which used to be the only place i and my family and friends shopped,SUCKS NOW.

The store located in Willingboro, NJ is the worst. They need to close it. You can never get the correct parts you need for your vehicle and of course when you need it to be delivered it takes them an hour or longer. Close this store or replace everyone in there with some real experience.

Ive never been so upset with customer service! Piscataway Nj advance auto not only will never see business from me again but as well my family and friends. The manager yells in front of customers and always has smart remarks. An associate was nice enough to assist me and he has the nerve to say what were you doing we have more important things to do go do what you have to do and I'll do the return yelling at the employee when the manager himself was assisting a customer previously with there car. Only employee that is ever yelled at is of color! Racisim is long gone but I guess not for all and I will not support it at all!

I work at Advance Auto Parts as a delivery driver. In the midst of all this heat I am being told I can NOT carry water. I have already been out sick once due to heat exhaustion.

On June 19th 2012 I purchased two windshield wiper blades from 4600 W Northern Parkway, Baltimore, Maryland, 21207, STORE # 01280. In the store window the store had advertise, free installation of wiper blades. During the installation the store manage broke my front windshield, damage my wiper motor, and also damage my wiper regulator. Therefore, my care needs a replacement windshield, a new wiper motor and a new wiper regulator. THIS IS THE SOLUTION GIVEN TO ME BY THE DISTRICT MANAGER. (1) Get my car fixed by one of the company they have an account with, (2) They will eliminate me getting a new windshield motor and fix the other things that was broken,(3)pay directly to an auto repair shop and not to me. NONE OF THE ABOVE SOLUTIONS ARE ACCEPTABLE TO ME. THIS COMPANY DAMAGED MY CARE AND SO THEY NEED TO PAY ME FOR THESE DAMAGES. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

I work for Advanced Auto. People are horrible. Its been in the 90s and was specifically told I was not allowed to have even water with me when I deliver parts. I couldnt even go to work yesterday due to being dizzy and having a sevier headache. I probably should've gone to the doc cause im sure its from being in the heat and not allowed to have any water with me. I was told that if i was caught with a drink i would get fired. I was also told that I may not have a job when i return tomorrow.

I needed a battery replacement and the young man who replaced it was very helpful. However when we drove off, I noticed that my speedometer was not functioning. I drove to the nearest Advance Auto shop and they told me that the battery replacement has nothing to do with the malfunctioning speedometer. I went back to the original Advance Auto parts store where I brought the battery and their response was the same. I went back home and did some research on the internet and there were several people with the same model vehicle (2001 Dodge Caravan) and the solution was very simple, just hold down the mileage reset button for a few seconds and the computer within the vehicle goes through a series of readjustments and low and behold, the speedometer works. Your staff should know this. A good portion of your work is battery replacement.
