parts store in Alabama,I went to store to get help on brakepads that had a lifetime replacement but there is a fine line but he explained it and I was okay with that there was customers in the storeand he made a remark that was you do KNOW you will have to buy them and tone he used is the way I would talk to a child ther has been a lot of complaints for this store. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN ANOTHER ADVANCED STORE AGAIN!!!!!!!

I had a truck stuck on the side of the road and went into advance auto parts that i have a business account and done business there for a many of years. Young woman waited on me and i told her the info and the part that i needed. She went and got the part and the box looked like it was opened before, so I opened it to ensure the part was good and what i needed. It was a u-joint that I noticed had some of the needle bearings laying in the bag and one of the caps was on at an angle. All of this was in front of the counter woman. I asked if she saw this and asked her if she had another part due to this one my be damaged. She looked at me like I was crazy and made a disrespectful look and walked away and stopped before turning to go in the back and made another face, which she didn't know I saw her until I turned real quick. she then went back and got the other part and returned. I asked her if I could speek to a manager and she stated that she was the manager. I could not believe this. I stated if she worked for me she and displayed that kind of attitude with a customer she would be fired asap. To whom it may concern, I WENT TO ADVANCE AUTO PARTS TO PURCHASE A STARTER FOR MY VECHICLE CJ AND GARY WERE VERY RUDE TO A ME. I FEEL LIKE CUSTOMERS IS ALWAYS RIGHT BECAUSE I MADE A ERROR WITH THE STARTER WHEN I PUT ON MY CAR I TIGHT THE BOLTS TO TIGHT SO I MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO THE STARTER SO I RETURN IT TO THE STORE FOR A ANOTHER ONE, BECAUSE THEY SAID IT HAD A LIFE TIME WARRRANTY ON IT. It took me awhile to find out who the so called lady was who almost ran over me in the parking lot of your chatham store but i did.She wasn,t dressed like all the other idiots who work,work,over stated,inside.Turns out she is some kind of BOSS.Boy that in itself says alot for why this store is in the toilet as far as i,m concerned.She,GINIA,was on her cell phone,cig.hanging out her mouth,no wonder she didn,t see me,almost hit me,then flipped me off to put it nicely.I didn,t even reply back.But think next time i,ll just let one of your so called bosses hit me.That will make a great law suit. 8-18-2012-----my truck let me down at a time i cant recover. I lost a day of work,a real job.Not like working with advance auto skummm. 3 times i,ve had put a airtex fuel filter in my ride. I shoulda known better than to get anything from advance,they let me down as a employer and in parts.THE CHATHAM STORE AND ALL U PRICKS AT THE TOP CAN GO STRAIGHT TO HELL.aND IF ANYONE WANTS TO CALLENGE ME ON ANY LEAVEL, P L E A S E DO. This is a store I used a lot but they have fallen on hard times they cant keep the parts I need and the counter help is useless I bought a altrnator with life time guarantee and when I needed to replace it they said that there computer crashed and they could not give me a new one the receipt I had faded out and they were very rude. I had a trucking company and I know I would not be in business if I treated people like this this store is in Lubbuck Texas on 4th street. I asked for a area managers phone and the number they gave me was for a bank. Stephan Rosales must not care to much about customer service or that is what it seems like. Would Darren Jackson ceo advance auto care more about this I think he would being a business man he knows the costumer is always right. I will call Advance and see what happens. I had to order the same part three times. First time, misspelled name, order cancelled. I assume the name is why. Second time, after name correction, still cancelled. Call my bank to see if that may be the problem. Charged to me twice, and then returned twice without problem. Maybe they couldn't find a box for the part. Call third time to order and they are as confused as me, but I order again anyway. For my inconvenience I was quoted next day air to receive my part in a timely manner. Two days later in the evening I call to see why I have no shipment conformation. Well, they haven't put my next day air package through to even be put in a box. Really? I may get a part on Monday that for the third time I ordered on last Sunday, and for my inconvenience was sent next day air. Which lets face it, at this point is not next day air. Granted I did order the same part for the third time with the same info, and the same credit card on a Sunday... But Really? The original order date was the 6th, and now I may get a 3-4 day delivery on the 20th, that then became next day air, and then 3-5 more days. Maybe. The kicker is that the package they finally sent, was sent with the original wrong name. I have been tracking it and it will be delivered, but not without much trouble. Do yourselves a favor and go to another parts website, or store.

I was in your Powder Springs, Ga store and I really have to rave about Rob G. He did the diagnostic check on my car and let me know what the problem was. He then proceeded in the pouring rain to change my windshild wipers for me even though he got drenched. I think that he performed excellent customer service and didnt even mind getting drenched to help out a customer. I think that your other stores should take lessons from him on customer service. Can't say that I'm real happy when a store doesn't honor a warranty when I have a receipt and a failed part. Poor quality and poor service from store 9352 in Merritt Island, Florida. "I don't know" and "I can't" are words that would get me fired. Apparently, they are acceptable phrases coming from corporate robots.

I normally have good service at the Advance Auto store on East Pittsburgh St. in Greensburg, PA but last night was a different story. My girlfriend came home with a broken radiator hose that could not be repaired. It was 8:52 and they close at nine but I'm only two minutes away so I rushed there and pulled in at 8:57. The young man working had already locked the doors and stood at the counter acting as if he had no clue I was there. I understand that he wanted to get out of work but the sign clearly states that they close at 9:00 not 8:57. If the door had been unlocked I would have been in and out in less than a minute. As a result my girlfriends car wasn't able to be driven today so she had to miss work and we lost 12 hours worth of pay. With children and bills I don't have to tell anyone how significant 12 hours pay is. I'm sure some people will think I'm being ridiculous and others will understand but either way if the sign says they close at 9 that is when they should close. Not 10, 5, or even 3 minutes early.

This is reference to advanced auto parts Covington,LA. Under the management of district manager Mel Sweet and general store manager Wayne Martin.Myself I was an employee there for a Lil over a year. Within the year that I had worked at this store I had already been through 3 store managers. One Day Mel Sweet had this great idea to hire some new talent from the cosmetic dept at wal-greens (Wayne Martin).keep in mind this new store manager had no prior mechanical or automotive parts experiances at all. For example,I vividly remember his 1st day there. A customer walks in,walks up to the counter where him and I are standing wait'n to help,so i thought. The customer directs his question toward him since he has the grey managers shirt on. After the automotive question was ask'd he steps back and ask if I could ansewer the customers question. At this point it just raised a red flag in in my head to watch this guy and my couriosity was right this guy knew absolutely nothing bout automobiles or their parts. This guy has been there now for bout a year(how) I have no idea. Unfortunately I decided not to work for the company any longer because of numerous situations like the one I explained above.i just did not see a future in it for me if this is the kind of garbage that they hire to ansewer unsuspecting customers automotive questions for the do it ur selfers and commercial customers that depend on management to lnow their parts so they can get the right part the 1st time. Any how on my way out I let him know that I could see right through him and that it wouldn't take long for customers and other employees to see through him also. Needless to say I don't think he cared for my comments to much. I still continued to do buisiness there and buy parts. Every time id go there and if I seen him I'd shake my head in disbelief and a few times he ask'd If he could help me. All I could do is laugh and tell him no thank you and that if I was ever at wal-greens in the cosmetics dept and I had a question I'd come over and ask him a bout it(lol) well now I'm not allowed on the store property and if I go over there this clown calls the police on me. Way to go advanced auto parts. All u have accomplished by do'n this is just piss off a do it your selfer customer that still bought parts there,piss'd off a former employee,piss'd off a US Navy veteran,and like a lot of buisness's believe,word of mouth is ever thing . Well I guess u guys can figure the rest out from here. Everyone I speak to I've told this story to and will continue to untill I can't breathe any more

Stopped in your Chatham store yesterday,will never step foot in another Advance Auto and will tell everyone about my visit there,it sucked.

i find it odd that if u have a paper coupon l;ike the one's u get in the mail sometimes advance will honor it and do a price match for u in store, how ever they will not do the same thing online they will not match a price and let u use ur coupon and imo that is total bs with this being said i have bought thousands of dollars of parts from them as i have been working on cars for 20 years but this is a customer and a customer base they will no longer have and i have plenty of ppl who go to buy parts where i do so i guess auto zone will be getting better business now.

advance auto in Shelby NC near the Bojangles. there's a lady name jessika she wears short clothing and when she beans over I see her ass not professional and its not good for business either. especially when I have my kids in the store . This isn't a hoe store where workers have there crap hanging out. I have never seen this before in my life Ive never had to contact the office and tell them that their employees are dress like a stripper in a family store its outrage's. Its crazy my husband even said something to me while we were in the store and I wanted to say put some clothes on and contact the manager and it seems like he didn't think it was a issue . This is a family store wear your clothing after or before work not during work. plus her customer service wasn't that great it was bad, I'm glad I'm not a mysterious shopper I would grade your customer service bad and bad performance poor of , you all need a dress code were the ladys dont have nothing showing .

The pregnant female "Manager" Shannon i believe is the most rude and snobby person ive ever met. She pretty much screamed at another employee if front of us customers. Anywho I bought a wheel bearing for my car and when it arrived it was just the bearing itself. I wanted the whole hub assembly. And when I went to return it she gave me this big ole fuss about thats all my vehicle carries. So I left and decided to return to give her a piece of my mind, but she had already left, but a young fella named Fox thats what was on his shirt looked up exactly what I needed so I really think you shouldnt let women look up parts. they should do the basic things driving (which they cant do that either lol) or answering phones or something. But i wasted 2days waiting for the part to get here and then she didnt give a shit about attempting to locate the part I actually oredered. But I give 5***** to the young fella Fox who got me what I needed with a smile. This took place in Vestal New York. Will maybe shop at your store again just wont deal with that stupid shannon woman!

Well i,ve been so disappointed in the chatham store i chose to do my buss. elsewhere. Then i heard that Matt had been gotten rid of but saw for myself thats not the case.And once again he-MATT- told me that he could save me some money if i let his girlfriends dad do my work.Marie was her normal hatefull self,wouldnt even speak to me when i tried to be nice and said hi.When pray tell will yall ever clean that store up. You got rid of the hardest and nices workers.Start with the store manager,dwain,omg.What a two face sissy.He wont even stand up for his best people because of being afraid of losing his job.Well for the better of the store,termanate him,matt,marie,scott,the night time scott,charles.Keep the rest and try to get back the best.

Advance auto is the worst place to work folks there getting ride of full timers for part timers to save on bills they are getting ride of there older people for younger people that never worked on a car or a truck in there life. Days of someone knowing what there doing is gone it,s retail get over it go to napa

I used to like advanced Auto Parts. They usually have the best prices. In the last 2 years I have spent several thousand dollars online. They offer discounts online that you cannot get at the store. A few months back I ordered over $300 worth of parts. They packed 100 pounds of stuff in a 10 pound box. When I received it half of the stuff was missing. They told me I had to pack it up and send it back. I told them I was not doing a thing if they want it they can come and get it off the back of my porch. Just last week I wanted to order rotors for 1998 Cirrus. There was three different types listed but the descriptions did not explain what the difference was. I called the order in and the rep told me which one I needed. So I get the car in the air and pull the old stuff off and go to put the new rotors on and they are too big. Now I got to go to the local store in Smyrna, Delaware. I took one of the old ones w/ me and asked the manager to get me the right ones. I explain to him that the item descriptions need to be updated online so people can order the right rotors themselves and not have to depend on some incompetent customer service rep. The manager credits my account and then wants to charge me full price?? The reason I ordered online is because there was a 20% discount and that’s what I want now. It was not my fault they supplied the wrong parts. He reluctantly gave me the discount with an attitude. He said the stores and online sales are two different entities. If that is the case why are you dealing w/ their mistakes? I call customer service today and guess what????? I am talking to a service center in India. I am done w Advanced Auto I will shop at NAPA from now on.

I,ve stopped shopping at advance,but in the eyes of fairness,thought i,d give the chatham store one more chance.What a screwed up ideal that was. U have a gaint working there that curses like a drunk sailor and dont care who hears him.you have a new girl-BIG GIRL-and i mean B I G!She tried to charge me for putting on new wiper blades.And your new delievery guy,THE HIPPIE,almost runs over me in parking lot.Then i had the bad luck of having to follow him in the advance truck down the road.I could not believe all the stuff he was throwing out the window.It should be a rule for your drivers not to be eating and drinking while making delievers.O well,as for me giving advance auto parts another chance.YALL BLEW IT BIG TIME.That store is hurting our community.

My husband has been with this company for going on 4 years! He comes in when called in and is one of the only ones in the store that actually does their job correctly. I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and his boss has just informed us that he cant take any daddy time for our first born!!! REALLY How Shitty is that...Further more he has a week sick time and a week paid vacation that he is supposed to be able to take anytime and he cant even use those apparently!!! I have offically lost all resoect for the manager and the company I think its awful that they cant give the time he has worked for and plan a month ahead to take time off with his child!!!
