This company is full of incompetent employees that lie or try to manipulate the customer.I have been with them 16 years and only because I do not need all the bells and whistles on my pre paid phone.I could not imagine ever having a contract with them.They turn off coverage and try to deny it,make excuses and fabricate stories.They have a hard time fooling me as I have everything documented and usually back them into a corner with their lies.I stay on phone 8-10 hours but I get them to fix the problem they created.I am looking into Verizon because lately they just turn the picture text coverage off telling me I never had it when I have been using it for years on all three prepaid phones.Their 25 dollar a month coverage includes this unlimited feature.They blame the towers or that I need to pay for data coverage or its the three phones that are all the same model neither is correct because when I rarely find someone with a brain they fix the problem and the E appears(edge) on the phone and Im able to send picture text.By the way my 2G is able to do this in every town but mine all of a sudden.It always worked in my town for three plus years so for them to deny that is frustrating.Lile I said I have proof that this service has been on my phone and I do prove it to them but they just continue lying.I will fill out a form to the Attorney General.

After reading complaints about AT&T, I feel that my hopes, promises, and expectations of this company are nil. After experiencing with calling all over the country, being without my home phone for days with various people from AT&T telling me that there is something that they have detected on my line and that a tech would be out to fix the problem, I am beginning to get a gloomy picture of this company. I feel as though a rug has been snatched up from under me.

I recently reviewed my credit report and notice AT&T had sent a 4 year old account to a collection agency called Anderson Financial which they reported the acccount to the credit bureau. I never received a final bill from AT&T was never contacted by any of the Collection Agencies. No statement or letter not even a collection call. Only notice was when it hit my credit report. I disputed the account with the credit reporting agencies(they are crooks also) because I did not know if it was an old Cell Phone or Residential. I wrote their Collection Agency and was finally contact by an At&T appeals unit. I explained to the rep I have no idea why this Collection Agency Reported an AT&T account on my credit report. Found out it was a 4 year old bill but the final bill was mailed to the wrong address. Not sure where they got this address from. Therefore, as I explain to the Rep you cannot hold a consumer responbile if the creditor mail the statement to the wrong address. I am requesting them to remove the negative item from my report. Will see how this goes!

You have NO customer service with at&t all you get is sent to an over seas operator who has know Idea who at&t is at&t was at 1 time a very dependable service back in my time they were the only service for telephone service. Now they want to take advantage of seniors who are trying to learn

AT&T NEEDS TO SEND THEIR WORKERS TO POLITE CLASS THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY ARE SO RUDE, THEY ALL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND, THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD PASS YOU TO ANOTHER PERSON, WHICH THEY JUST LISTEN AND GET THEIR EXCUSE READY FOR YOU OR THEY JUST HANG UP ON YOU WHEN THEY GET TIRED OF YOU. THEY SEND YOU BILLS LIKE IS THERE ANYBODY IN THE BILLING ROOM THAT KNOWS WHAT IN THE HELL THEY ARE DOING? DID THEY COME TO WORK JUST BECAUSE EVERYBODY CAME IN? WE NEED ANOTHER PHONE COMPANY WITH PEOPLE THAT HELPS THEIR CUSTOMERS AND NOT SENDS THEM TO THE DR. OFFICE. THEY REALLY SHOULD WORK ON THEIR EMPLOYEES AND SEND THEM TO RUDE CLASS. I WONDER IF A CORPORATE MANAGER WOULD CALL THE CUSTOMERS NUMBERS AND ACT LIKE A AT&T CUSTOMER AND GET TREATED LIKE THE PAYING PEOPLE, GET A RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKER GET AT LEASE 5 EXCUSES, SAYS THAT THEY TOOK CARE OF YOUR PROBLEM AND NEVER DID, OR JUST HUNG UP ON YOU AFTER 29 MINUTER ON HOLD. AND YOU HAVE A NICE DAY MANAGER

After having at&t uverse for a little over a year and numberous tech calls and techs coming out and linesmen we got a call today saying that we are to far from the box and there is nothing they can do.Yes there is you can put a box down our way.After all we been through and with all the moneys you spent on sending out linesmen and techs you could have saved alot of money by putting in a box down our way.The kicker is they keep selling it our area knowing that we are to far away.That is stupid if they are not going to put a box in this area.They need to stop selling it if they are not going to provide the service.I think it is time for us to file a complaint with the attorney generals office and go to our local news channel.Let them know what his been going on and show them what we have been going threw and show them the records we kept of all ours call with time dates and names of who we spoke with over the year we had at&t uverse.Then we will see about getting a class action law suit going or just sue them on our own.For all the stress and frustration we are going through with them. I updated 3 phone lines on 9-4-12. I have ref #s and I just called to update 3 other lines on our business. While talking on Oct. 1-12 I find out that it was never done for the 9-4-12 update. I ask everyone to Pray this company steps up or steps out.

What a nightmare! Is it for real? What happened to customer service? When I was in Europe I was so proud to say that in America we had customer service that does not exist anymore. Many of the accounts are handled in other countries like India and bless their heart but they have no clue..........................I thought I was the only one but I see that there are so many people who are so dissatisfied with ATT. I just moved back from Europe and so I had no idea the poor service that ATT gives now. I hope to find another provider who cares about their customers. Lidia Schulten-Valdizon

I have all my service with att wireless , home phone, internet, every time i call to get sevices i get a big run around expectly my wireless service. I have call many times in the past to get a upgrade on one of the four phone i have they are never eligebile for upgrades . No matter when i call always some kind of excuse. They will try to get me to pay full price for there phone .After many years of paying phone bills from 200.00 to 300.00 they should be happy and give any of there customer a phone . You no i am 1 customer but you should appreciate all your customers for using your services. because there to many phone company out there that will give you better services at cheaper rates and thats were i am going . i have a htc inspire right now that i can not get out on in my area because att have not upgraded there service for the customers they sold me this phone knowing they did not have 4g sevice in my area. I complain about the 4g service it just like oh well but they still except my money not right you should be ashame of treating customer like that. I see i am not but 1 of the many unhappy customer dont you care.

If the world terrorists had to go thru ATT, they would be defeated. I have never dealt with a more incompetent business dept. Everything that is wrong, falls down to the customer. Hiram, a a service leader in small business, refuses to refund me 4 charges for the porting of a number-when the number being ported was canceled.He will give me 1 charge-outrageous. Further, the small business team never asked for the correct address-which is why we were not receiving a bill in the first place. We had to deal with small business to cancel corporate accounts and reduce to 1 cell phone-all separate divisions. Not one division is willing to look at the whole picture. Hours on the phone the last 2 days and I am told by Hiram that he will pass on my request to his supervisor-Sherry-but she may not call me back. Further, the escalation dept will decide on these charges , but they may not call back either. Are you kidding? Do you really call this customer service? This is not the company of my childhood -thats for sure. I do hope someone from ATT reads this and realizes -they can do SO much better for customers.

I have had uverse for a year with intermittent services over 30 techs have been out to my home still no results finally i wrote the president a letter with 15 days to respond before we took legal action an they finally got them off of there butts BUT now i am looking to have my bill adjusted because they kept saying that it couldnt be adjusted until the problem was resolved well as you can guess they wont do anything now but i have some contact info for you guys contact Cynthia Stair (203)771-4488 and Micha Monconice (404)499-3708 this guy was super nice and called everyday to make sure the field techs were doing there jobs Mrs Stair was nice until it came time to pony up the adjustment on my account but i guess in the end ill have to file in small claims court if i want to recover any monies payed out for terrible services.

ATT CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. MY ACCOUNT WAS FLAGED FOR WHAT REASON NONE AT ALL. I WAS TOLD THE FRAUD DEPT WAS OPEN TODAY.BUT GUESS WHAT ITS CLOSED ON SUNDAY WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS. HOW DARE YOU LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS THATS HOW YOU LOSE MONEY ITS NOT ABOUT ATT ITS ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS. EVEN THE WEB SITE SAYS OPEN ON SUNDAYS ANOTHER LIE. NOTHING BUT LIES LIES LIES WOW. AT&T is a nightmare. They keep sending me bills for the modem I returned to them 5 months ago. THey sent my account to collections and now they are still sending me bills. I spent over 10 hours on the phone to resolve this issue, but they keep lying to me and say their hands are tied.

My complaint is about AT&T's DSL internet email service. They have recently released a new email home page, http://att.yahoo.com/. When I enter the internet using internet explorer v8 with my computer (using windows XP SP3), I receive a message to sign in to get my email. This message states that I can stay signed in for two weeks if I request it. Yet, when I request this, it ignores my request. If I sign out, for example, and then reenter the internet 15 minutes later, I get the sign-in message once again. Every time that I sign in, no matter when my last trip to the internet was, I have to sign in again! After multiple calls to AT$T online technical support people, including their tier 2 high level specialists, I could not get an intelligent answer to this problem. In fact, the latest two of these "specialists" said that they had the same problem, which indicates that it is a design flaw in the newly released AT&T internet software. I continued talking to more and more of these specialists with no results, until I threatened to file a complaint with the FCC. This specialist then took several minutes and located a Yahoo email specialist, who quickly gave me the desire answer to my sign-in quagmire with AT&T!! This special specialist directed me to the Yahoo home page at http://www.yahoo.com, where there was a new sign-in page that had never seen before. It had nothing to do with AT&T, and used my email address and password for the sign-in process. After I signed in at this Yahoo home page, I stayed signed in for the requested two weeks, time and time again signing in before the two weeks were up. For unexplained reasons, all of those people with whom I had spoken at AT&T were unable to come up with this simple solution to my problem. Is this company so incompetent that they don't this much about their defective software? Are is it that they are not allowed to tell the customer that all that he/she has to do is to make Yahoo the home page for entering the internet to receive his/her email? I suspect it is the latter, since this would be steering the customers away from all of those money-making advertisements. I believe that it is now time to inform the FCC about this situation, even though I now know the answer. I worked very, very hard to get it!
