AT&T, why don't you make a smart business decision and undercut your biggest competitor? I'm curently a Verizon customer and their customer service is terrible. I'm sure if you could lower your prices a little and bring back unlimited data, you could take over the wireless industry. You are the only competitor that comes close to having the coverage they have. They have made lots of customers very angry with their poor customer service. If the customer isn't happy then nobody is. The customer can always take their business elsewhere. Just a suggestion. I have been thinking about switching to AT&T for awhile now but I don't want to lose my unlimited data package that I currently have grandfathered in at Verizon.
Letter of Appreciation
Dear Raul Meza, I'm taking time to write you a letter of thanks for a "Feel Real Good" moment I experienced yesterday made possible by Ms Mandy Middelton. I visited the AT&T Thousand Oaks Store, CA, yesterday with the goal of transferring my iPhone 3A data to my new 5. As I arrived, and a smiling, confident AT&T sales representative approached me asking if I need assistance. I responded, "Where do I log in?" I was in luck, no waiting, and I informed Ms Middelton of what I needed. She took both my phones and said she'd try her best. Followed by "It may take some time, but I'm hopeful." How cool is that? She may have known it was a slam dunk, but tactfully, chose the cautious approach should any abnormality arise. It took time. She not only successfully transferred all my required data, she completed my "Cloud" transfer which makes future back-up less complicated. The entire process was completed in roughly an hour. Throughout, she continuously updated me of her progress, and was able to support additional AT&T customers. Upon successful completion, she returned my phones, advised which programs remained to be downloaded, and what was needed to complete same. What a terrific smile! What a competent employee. What a "Feel Real Good" moment! Obviously, Ms. Mandy Middelton is a credit to herself, and more importantly, a credit to AT&T! In closing, "What a fine "Job Well Done"! ATT has a contract at our apartment complex and knows there is a problem with slower than contracted service. No answer as to when it will be fix. They need to allow the complex out of the contract and allow Time Warner or other company that can provide service to provide service.

i received a 2 phone that arrived with not only no sim cards but rep promised us our area gets the best coverage;. We never had the chance to even use our phones. my 4g iphone would show searching. I couldnt even get text msgs, I had 3 managers hang up on me yesterday and one this morning. I have never been treated so poorly by a company that claims they have great coverage. I even contactacted apple to inform them how a AT&T is selling there products and they called At&t for me but still nothing is resolved. and know the president of the company is no where to be found and AT&T told me they are not allowed to release this info. IM VERY ANGRY. your rating system requires a rating for me to process this complaint. AT&T rating should be -85
I came home from after having to burying my Mother only to find out my AT&T acct had been deactivated for no fault of my own. I called that night thinking easy fix after they would find out it was their error but NO not easy to them. I was told I would have to call in the morning between 8-5 and speak with billing. So no TV or internet for me so all I had was a radio. So the next morning I did that and went through the call only to find out they would have to call and wake up the the lady who was kind enough to help me over a year to get it set up even though I paid all the bills. Well she told them to reactivate after the guy told her it was their error which I told him to make sure to tell her. She only ask to try to set up an acct in my name which was fine. Well I thought this acct was reactivated and we started an acct for me and he apparently gave me a "deal" but guess what. Yep I have no TV and Internet and I thought he would put me on an emergency basis since afterall it was THIER FAULT my acct was deactivated and not mine. I have to wait a WEEK for TV and INTERNET and i get to listen to a radio for now. The bad thing here is ATT has a monopoly at our apartment complex so I have NO CHOICE BUT TO HAVE THEM.... SUX TO BE M
I paid for an Iphone 5 upgrade, waited the 30days for the back order, was told that it would be delievered today!! ATT put the wrong address on the shipping box and now I can not receive the phone, ATT then told me that I would have to be put back on the waiting list for 30 more days because they could not send me the same phone!!!!! This coming is bs, I will take my money back and find something alot cheaper and people that help alot better. I paid for the damn phone, just give it to me, you obiously do not care about customer service or money!!!!!!!!
AT&T does a perfect BAIT AND SWITCH and it looks like with all the complaints I just read, I am not the only person that they have done this to. It also looks like a perfect Class Action for some anxious attorney with some guts. AT&T makes promises and then in reality (when you get your bill) they have lied and lied and lied. POOR IS NOT LOW ENOUGH!!!!!! IT IS CRIMINAL...FRAUD AND THEFT. If you try to discontinue your service, they threaten with all kinds of charges...the worst dealings I have had in my 70 years on this earth. Wonder if anyone will even read all these messages...I doubt it.
I just give a star because it required AT&t is the worst internet company that I can sign for I regret for having them number one they charge too much to send a technician and there is incapable people I couldn’t believe the stupid Tec put the modem for the internet in the closet. Second do not even bother to install my phone. And on top of everything I call and email the manager and she even give me a call me to at least check what happened. How ineptness as well as disorganization to charge money they like to be on time but when is time for services is so poor I can’t wait for my contract gets over so I change.

I challenge you to come to my parents house for a week and follow through with us all the time wasted on the phone (6 hrs and counting) and just sitting around waiting for non-existent techs to never show (20 hours and counting). You need to wake-up, you need to be on the show "Undercover Boss" and experience the lies and complete ineptness and disorganization of your company. I guarantee you will also call it a nightmare and want to get rid of ATT. ATT cut my elderly parents phone off with Charter and left them totally without phone service for over a week (still waiting), if they need an ambulance how can they get one? I left my cell phone for them to use for emergency but they have trouble using it. Last year it took over 3 weeks and many calls and many techs to get my personal service going. As of right now my whole family hates ATT and will make sure everyone we know is warned to stay away from your service!
After reading page after page after page after page of ANGRY, UPSET AND UNHAPPY customers getting screwed over, lied to and hung up on (like myself) I am sick to my stomach !!!!!!! AT&T you need to respond to EACH and EVERYONE ONE OF OUR COMMENTS ON THIS PAGE !!!! YOU OWE IT to ALL OF US. THIS LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM IS DISGUSTING!!!!

a year ago i sent a letter to the president of att in dallas, tx. TWO THINGS HAPPENED: i received an unsigned letter from customer service in atlanta, ga telling me i was NOT going to get $150 back which i incurred sitting in my car using "on star" for 2-1/2 hours waiting and talking to att personnel trying to find out why they cut my service. there was no explanation. BUT my $42 a month att bill was cut to $20 FOR A YEAR. that made me feel good and also reimbursed me for prozac i had to pop to keep my sanity talking to them.

AT&T Uverse is a complete rip off! The had informed me that they had upgraded my service to allow free international calling but this was not the case. Since then they have billed me about $800 in international charges.Everytime I call I receive conflicting information. It appears the number provided for the corprate office goes back to the same reps I had been speaking with all along. I regret getting my services bundled with this provider. They are horrible!
At the beginign of the year ATT purposely slowed the internet service and speed to its customers icluding me. I was paying $40 a month for 6mpb but when I go to the speed test . net to test it I would always get bearly 3.1 mpb so half of it. Att lets get this straight I pay full amoung of $40 not half or $21 but I get a half speed? WHY?? So since Att lowered the speed they "came up" with the "universal a new super fast" service which in fact is the same service you had before they lowered the speed but now they sell it as a new service for a much higher price. So when I called them (made mistake to give them my number because they call me now all the time at 7 am or late night a 9 pm to sell me their services)and asked them for upgread to so caleld "universal" they said NO. its way more money eventhough they were running promotion for new custumers for $19.99. So besically I never got the speed that I was paying for it. When I asked for upgreat they said NO. Now they are botherting me with phone calls to come back. I am done with ATT. Got Comcast $30 bucks for 25bpm and it is super fest actually when I test it I get over 30 0r 31 bpm. No more ATT.. "Reach and touch someone else"
I have been a thru a living nightmare. A total of eight techs have been to my home to solve the ongoing problems with my televison (freezing Screen)A total of nine techs have been sent to my home to solve the on going problems with my land line. They have replace cables, wires, the modeum times 2, the receiver time 2. and yet the problems, remained the same. Customer service is awful. They are rude and totally incompetent. Now, my cell phone has died twice, in one week. T I took it to two ATT stores, both of the stores failed to help me. I have spent 2 weekends, without phone service, T.V or internet. I am chronicially ill, with a pain disorder.
