No problem
I have at&t for 3 cell phone lines and u-verse at my house, I love the cell service and u-verse is great never have any issues with internet speed or cable acting up. I have had billing issues in the past but when I did I got on the phone and they were taken care of quickly and to my liking, maybe the rest of you just dont know how to talk to customer service people politely so they dont wanna try hard to help you....
I am sick and tired of ATT customer service folks. From the very beginning I was lied to. I got the bundle pkg and was told by the agent that (internet, phone with long distance was included), and that my previous modem would work so I didn't have to purchase one. That was a lie! I had to purchase a modem from ATT for my service to work, then get my first bill was billed for long distance and was told that was extra. Got it taken off, ATT charge me for doing so. Finally I decided I would get another provider for Internet but an agent offered me $15 off the cost if I would stay. Heck yeah, I stayed for that. Now that I kept the service the other agents have a problem with that and won't honor it. I went to Executive Office and they too won't budge. What is wrong with this company - no ethics. I would not recommend ATT to anyone, even though they have a long standing business it is not worth the lies, headaches and very poor customer service.I am not even rating them at a 1 because they are negatively off the map,but it appears I must at least do so.
Poor Service
Poor Service, Called and was transferred about 6 times. Placed order and it was placed wrong by customer service. Called back about 10 times to get straigten, kept getting transferred. Supervisor was suppose to call me back - never did. AT & T has been an nightmare!!!!! it is the worst service ever.
The service is poor and to make a complaint for charges for data usage that they sent to my phone and would not go away. the charged me 50.00 dollard and when you call they can not help me until the amount aqppears on my bill. The just kept me on hold for 18 minutes to speak with a supervisor and the supervisor told me I should not of responded to the info they sent me.
Lying
they tell you one thing on your bill and charge u another thing. Then when u call them to take care of it they say they cant because they never told u that price .
Customer
I have never seen a company more poorly managed. How can you deceive customers to enter a one year contract and you raise their price after five months? What's the purpose of having a contract if the benefits are all one sided on your side. Then after you breech the contract and raise my price, you won't let me out of my contract so i can go back to a company with real customer service Comcast. This is really bad business on your part and look on line how people complain about you. Keep it up and your bottom line will suffer down the line

I have been trying to get voice mail taken off my package for 2 years. No luck.
Robo calls &donation calls
I am on the do not call list for my state and for the country ,but somehow att&t still allowes these calls.Ihave been a customer since they were Bell South , now i am 87 years old and bed ridden .It is so hard for me and my care taker to answer these annoying calls.
Hiring process
The reason for the horrible customer service and lies during the sales process is because they are lazy. Nobody can take time to read an application, check references, or actually talk to a possible employee in person. Everything is done online, application, a stupid 100+ question test, with only agree, disagree, strongly disagree or strongly agree .. This is what your outcome will be. The only people that pass that test are liars, and they wonder why they can't keep good people working. Get off of your butts, put the computers away and hire quality people that will actually do their job.
Lying customer service agents
AT&T is horrible with customer service. They lie to you, tell you about promotions and how they will help you, but then when your bill arrives they expect you to pay it despite them telling you fees would be waived. They constantly lie, you have to stay on the phone for hours to get help, then half the time the calls get disconnected.
needs improvements
ATT cable tv and service sent wrong box that it destroyed my very costly set and damaged my protector strip. This caused my wall socket to show arking which i had replaced and check my outlets , thankful there were no damages to my main box. I was talked to and handled so rudely , disrespectfully and representatives never were concerned about my loss of property. Att's claims provider company's name is Sedgwick who was a nightmare from my initial contact . Att should handle customer's property loss that is their loss respectfully.
your commercials
your current commercials are very stupid...the ones with the kids around a table with one adult. In one, a grandmother is slow! grandmothers are different today than they were in 1950! In the other commercial, the boy describing the big screen tv is a spoiled brat! this advertising campaign is awful...you can do better than this!
Feed up
I have had AT&T for a long time know. When AT&T was bellsouth, the prices were much lower, customer service billing was better, and the service calls were faster. Uverse billing was a nightmare, the high speed service was great, but again the billing was awful. They tried to bill me for early termination fee when they told me that I had to switch back to DSL because of the area I moved to. It also to 3 months to receive my reward card. Also, during the time I changed telephone providers, they billed me on 3 different accounts and all the bills were wrong. They even sent me to collections for 20.00 in error. Know I only have the internet and they charge 30.00 for reconnection even after you make arrangements. The customer service reps give you different information on billing. I am switching providers, maybe someone will listen when they loose more business.
ATT
how are these peplor still in business,,, have a hue hole in my front yard for 3 weeks and they cannot tell me when it will be done - been on the phone for - 1-1/2 hours... next call will be to WFAA television - look for me on the news - hopefully that will get my hole filled
Worst customer servicer EVER!
DON'T let AT&T handle your business. You will spend hours on the phone trying to solve the simplest of problems. I have only been with them two months and I have spent 4-5 hours on the phone being shuffled from one uncaring person to another. I went to my local AT&T store and they tried taking care of my business. They, too, were shuffled from person to person until they gave up.
Dispicable Customer Service
I bought a HTC ONE in Aug 2012. The phone started acting up immediately. Unable to do anything media related at work- friends with iphones (also at&t) have no problem. Would have to power phone down repeated due to locking up, was unable to receive phone calls at times or send and receive text messages. Went to the at&t store where I bought the phone (no help at all), only to be told to call the 800 number. This past weekend was the last straw- unable to do doing anything media related- on WIFI or tower signal. Called at&t on Sunday- on phone for 3 hours, talked to 8 different people. No Satisfaction. All they want to do is send me a refurbished phone. Didn't buy a refurb-ed phone, don't want replacement refurbed phone. Same story from everyone I talked to..."we can't send you a new phone..." Saga continues. Moral of the story: 1. Don't buy a HTC phone 2. Don't go to at&t
BILL
We disscontinued our service and went with another companie. Called an told them this on Oct 8. The contined to charge us for a month. Now we are harrassed with these bills saying if we do not send back the equipment we are going to be charged. I have called them around 30 times about this and nothing has been done. Why would anyone be stupid to go with this company.
Complaint
I hace been trying for 4 months to resolve a billing issue related to my DSL account. No resoluntion to this date. I do however continue to get threatining letters. Customer service is nonexinstant.
SERVICE
We are new customers of AT&T U-verse. The initial installation was somewhat of a disaster. It took three days for the installation and it still was a problem. Finally, we got someone named Larry LV3968. He was amazing! He spent two hours with us and got everything working. My husband and I highly commend him for his service, knowledge and people skills. We think your corporate office should do the same. Thank You.
I have been a customer for 13 years and I set up everything with this company from U-verse to cell phones and internet. When I asked to speak to a supervisor about a missing order to add a home phone like a Audrina Vindas aadvised that she didnt have an ID and that she was a supervisor that would be sending me a phone free of charge and I should have it in three days, I was so happy to hear that someone cared, but the issue was that she lied and never shipped anything and when I called back she must have lied about her name because nobody knew who she was and that there was no order placed. What a shame! I guess I will be moving to another provided that actually cares
