Unreal DISAPPOINTMENT

I am leaving SPRINT after 14 yrs of service and have received LESS than sub-par assistance on trying to transition. I now have 14 days to decide if I want ATT cellular services or not. It has taken me 2 weeks to get a phone activated with them. If this is any inclination of the Customer Service I am facing, I will take this 2 weeks to seriously reconsider this company for my cellular needs Walmart might have the RIGHT idea with the NO CONTRACT options. Why else would a company WANT a contract other than so they DONT have to accommodate their consumers, as they are locked in!!

commercials

please reconsider your commercials where a man talks with children - a child shakes his head and waves his hand etc. This is very disturbing. There are medical reasons that make people do this type of involuntary movements and would like to see TT&T remove these ads.

billing

I love U-Verse, however my bill has gotten so high, I don't know how much longer I can keep your service. I'm a Senior Citizen on a fix income. I believe when your company starts a quote for a service, the amount should stay the same and not go up. I believe you would have a lot more customers if you would keep new service the same price or give long time customers a discount.

HD Scammers

What a joke ATT's HD service is. The signal is compressed to be able to go over phone lines and causes pixillation like crazy. How ATT can claim HD service when other providers claim the same HD service and there is a world of difference in quality. ATT even charges an extra $10 for this HD service. The 55" Samsung Smart TV I bought for $1600 has twice the technology ATT service can provide. What a waste. STAY AWAY from ATT and go with another provider that has true HD service. Geeeez I wasted 4 days in service appointments to replace all sorts of equipment when the real trouble was just the poor quality of the signal. I am currently trying to get reimbursed for all my wasted time. I wish ATT would just be honest about the poor compressed signal quality and stop blaming the equipment and wasting a customers time.

I would be happy if there was Cell Service in my area, I live on the nipple of Eastern KY. At&t's map Says Moderate service. Guess that means At&t thinks Moderate means None. Thousands of potential customers in this area are forced to go with a Local Ph service Applachian Wireless, Who charges 3x what At&t does. They don't allow anyone to use their towers to keep a monopoly on Cell service. AT&T We need you, or at lest your towers.

SLAMMED!!!

My business numbers got SLAMMED by AT&T and is going on three weeks now trying to get my numbers back to my original carrier. Now AT&T says they are having a technical glitch and are having trouble giving it back. I'm now on a 48 minute wait time to speak to someone again. Can you say negative stars? Calling a lawyer.

ATT should be brought to trial for their tyrannical behavior. Some legal student or public advocate should look into the viability of suing them based on the Sherman Anti-trust act.

I want a Refund

I have been with AT & T Wireless for years. Last week, I get a text message that says I went over 3Gig's for the month and they were going to cut back on my speed from 4G to 3G or worse. Funny thing, I am paying $180 for two phones and I am grandfathered into an unlimited everything plan (unlimited data, text, phone calls, etc). So I complained. Why? I never ever got that text message before. Everyone at customer service said you can use hot spots and it would be free....for what? It is like paying for a full tank of gas upfront and getting less than a quarter of a tank...and then they tell you "I'm sorry, there is nothing we can do." I'm sorry, you just unloaded my bank account and didn't deliver on ther service. Most people call that stealing. The worse part? I have not had internet, data, anything service except cell service since then. Their response "we're sorry, there is nothing we can do." My response? "give me your checking account number so I can withdraw some funds for free and see how you like it when I tell you there is nothing I can do about it. I can't help myself!" Don't call it unlimited if you're going to steal from your customers. As soon as my contract is up...I am flushing them down the toilet where they belong.

Environmental Justice

North San Jose, Calif is building 40,000 new homes in the next 15 years and 8,000 are already in process of being built and will be equipped with ATT Uverse and Comcast Cable and Internet. I live one mile from there and they outright refuse to provide any other services than the slow adsl service. This company discriminates against small and rural areas and poor areas around the country. They write into their franchise that if is costs more than 400.00-500.00 they do not have to provide services. Well everyone knows it costs more than that. That just want sit on their butts and collect money and pay their worthless ceo and shareholders! t

DSL

I have had your DSL for years and this year all the time the DSL spped is good one day and low the next. When the download sppeds and upload speeds are so low I cannot even complete my stock transactions due to the low speeds. I called numerous times. They rebuilt the line, changed the port and it was fine for a few weeks then here we go again. They have sent techs to the ondo and they all claim there is little they can do. What am I paying for and not gettting what I am suppose to get. The trouble is in your lines and servers. I was even told that your pushing I-Verse so your lowering nthe DSL signal to force people to by I-Verse which others I know have and they have half the spped then they are also suppose to get. I am filing a report the the Illinois Attornety generals office and the FCC broadband complaint center as you are ripping off people with your service...

POOR Service

I have never been with such a God forsaken horrible company then your. Your customer service is the worse in the world and it is unbelievable how you are still in business. I know that your company makes billions of dollars and when a customer like my self have to sit on hold for over 15 plus minutes then get disconnected, call back and to have a service technician tell me that no matter whom ever I speak with that my problem can not be solved because they have no record of me making prearrangement, it really is the last straw. I will do everything I can to pay the early termination fee and will NEVER do any kind of business with such a poorly ran company.

Sorry I switched

A month ago we switched to U-verse. I was assured that the billing switch would be done automatically even though they couldn't port the number we had for 13 years. This is my 3rd Wed in a row on the phone with them. I have paid the u-verse bill but there is another bill they can't seem to get a final on. I just spent 50 min being transferred to 4 people. Everyone assures me it is now taken care of. Same assurances I have been getting for 4 weeks. Any suggestions for new carriers when my contract is up?

At&t is rediculous . Any guesses as to why their corporate office number takes you right back to the customer service department that you just spoke to and got mad at. One person tells you one thing ,next person says something different . I used to work at the call center for business wireless and they didn't treat people the way at&t does for personal. They act like you are taking the money out of their wallet. My friends make fun of me because I pay them 300 + per month and they pay like $90 to verizon .

AT&T Overall

It is sad that you only receive the negative comments. I believe that the majority realize that AT&T is a worldwide leader in communications and that service is a regional thing which can be corrected. My only observation is that I cannot get the local office (New Haven CT) to correct an oversight and install U-Verse TV for my neighborhood.

Att is the worst company. They find ways to keep taking ur money. The bills paid in full and then they say u still owe 187 dollars after u have done paid them almost 400. So someone tell me how is this right and they just keep getting away with it. This is not any different than someone stealing something from u because they r stealing ur money and saying u owe more

so my account on my phones is always getting suspended because the phone was reported stolen but my ex girl friend found the phone an gave it to me in the beginning of February i had it for a while but didn't no it was reported stolen until i got it turned on this Sunday an every time i call at&t they turn it on but my account always get suspended so i was wondering if you can help me out with it because i feel its a waste of money an i really like the phone i have a new pin number for the phone an everything

AT&T is a J-O-K-E

Unbelievable! After having PRO DSL service for 10 years, AT&T decides that it will no longer support this service in my area eventhough my next door neighbor still has PRO DSL. After trying to get this resolved for several weeks and 2 field tech dispatches, I'm told by the "Network Control Group" that provisioning simply says "Tough! Be happy with what you have!" Their new slogan should be "AT AT&T, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWYAS WRONG!"
