UNWILLING TO UPGRADE

We have been customers for over 13 years. We have two cells,and wish to upgrade. we are both getting older so we wanted to get one of the phones that have a larger screen. Unfortunitly the only ones that do are smartphones. we are not allowed to have a smartphone unless we have a data plan we don't need or want. all we ever do is call, text and on rare occasions send or take a photo

bad continuous service

I would have to.say that Att has got.to be the worst servicein america. I would not.recommend Att to.anyone. I have had problems with Att for many years. I also can't get good customer service either. They give me the run around and wont let me talk to anyone in charge. I would have to tell people not to use Att for phone service or even their.internet service.

Personel director for phone customer service lines

Please hire employees that want to work. Your phone customer service line is consitently the worst. Your on site service techs are usually fine. As a former us distributorship corporate secretary, I hope I can help your company and eleviate my frustration. Honestly, it is embarrasing as an American that it is so difficult to obtain customer assistance via phone with our main phone company. Also-while I'm at it-your voice activation system does not work as good as my I Phone 5s. Farewell Ms Davis

UNACCEPTABLE

I lost access to my email Thursday before last, 04/02. After transferring me to 8 different numbers over 9 entire days, all of them combined have totally failed to restore my email access. This is disastrous for me. CNET.com has rated their wireless service the WORST of them all for the last 2 years. I now know beyond any doubt that their email and isp service deserve the same last-place ranking. These people are horrific.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have never dealt with such incompetence and unprofessionalism in my life. ATT was scheduled to come install a second line used for fax in my home. A day of work was wasted waiting on them, and they never showed up. After numerous calls, it was established that the work order was never sent to the technician. In the meantime, ATT electronically disconnected my ringmaster service, which was what was being used to receive faxes (I run a large medical practice out of my home). Now I was unable to receive faxes at all. After 3 days of promises that my ringmaster service would be restored, and talks with 3 different supervisors, nothing was corrected. Customer service said I couldn't schedule another appointment to install the line, as there was a current work order in their system (this was the appointment they never showed up for). So now I am without a fax, and essentially my practice is shut down and patient services are being disrupted, because of ATT stupidity and incompetence. I have no idea if and when ATT is going to resolve this, and apparently they don't care. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!

AT & T Joke Company

The following was the first person's comments and I have the exact same experience. This is a worse company I have ever experienced. _____________________________________________ I moved my service in January and it has been the worst nightmare. It is April and I am still not credited for equipment that'e been back in your office since February, per your office employee. I am also dealing with terrible customer service. I have a $600.00 bill. even with the credits given me by your employees. This type of gross activity seems to be a culture of your company. Your employee called my work and cell phone to tell me the equipment charges had been removed on Saturday. Today is Monday, April 8th and it is still on my bill. That is the short version of the nightmare. I have services that do not work properly since the move. My internet is account is not even working properly and it has not been since I moved. This is the worst service I have ever seen with any company. It is bad when employees do not get it right but it is a travesty when management (It can't wait unit) and other management is not solving issues that is the fault of your company.

HORRIBLE

I cancelled my business phone lines prior to the renewal of my contract. I was told I would not get another bill. AT&T fails to cancel my lines. They continue to bill me for lines I cancelled. I have spent hours on additional calls trying to fix the issue. Each time they say it's resolved but the bills keep coming in. Now, the final straw is- they send me a bill saying I have to pay an early termination penalty of $590 because they failed to cancel my lines timely. I have had it with this joke of a company. I can't see how they will make in the long run it with this kind of service. They won't allow me to give 0 or negative stars, so I can only give one.

Poor service with moves

Worst Customer Service

I purchased the new Samsung Tab 2 and the Samsung 3 phone in Dec.2012. I have had problems with them since day one. ATT will not replace them unless I go thru warranty dept and pay 199.00 each. and I even purchased the protection plans on both. Tablet use of a total 3 weeks will now cost me over 700.00 to get supposedly repaired units . Don't waste your time with this company unless you are willing to lose money!!

dsl outage

ATT seems to have the worst customer service perhaps in the world. I have had a DSL outage for a week and have talked to customer service reps, technicians and even supervisers with no results as to what the exact problem is or when it will be corrected. I get lip service and promises but no results. April 5 2013.

I was offered a deal of $300 in gift cards and an extra $50 if I oredered my service on line which I did. That was in May 2012 and still waiting for my gift cards. Thinking about hiring a lawyer to get satisfaction.

Commercials

When are you going to change your commercials. I'm sooo tired of those kids. I'm an adult, having kids in commercials to represent a product, makes me that much more not want the product. When my contract is up with AT&T , we will change providers. By the way, your commercials are not cute, they are annoying!

seriously??

I tried to call this number to get information on legal services and you could not get past the prompt! Really?? This is a phone and communication company and they can't even get THAT right? Now I know where NOT to go when I switch my cell phone service!

ATT horrible

If you want good service go to Time Warner , wireless what ever. I have had them 25 yrs and they give great CS. My parents have ATT and nothing but problems and when you call you get put on hold for hours...they hide their corporate phone numbers as well. This is the worst company to deal with....don't be a fool for a better product...just go to Time Warner if they are in your area...your customer service is far more important than a product.

Very unsatisfied

I am very unsatisfied with the setup of my account. I have had wireless service with AT&T in the past and always paid my bill on time and now all I wanted is the deal you are offering on the fastest DSL at 6.0...What was sent to me is 3.0 at a much higher price. I was offered the $19.95 deal thru one of your partners Dish Network and was not given that by AT&T. So I am sure you can see my frustration. Can you help me with this mix up? Was told my daughter could upgrade today, had to do it by phone. Price was way higher than store. Gave us the store price but could not find our address in their system, tried to give me run around. Now I have to go out of my way to a corporate store to get phone because their system doesn't recognize my address? I have been with AT&T for 13 years I think they should get a better system to help their customers. My address is correct I know I live there Grrrrrrrrr

REALL?????!!!!!!!!

I have been on UVerse since end of August 2012. It has been nothing but a nightmare. I have made over 30+ calls regarding service issues. Finally took my phone off Uverse and put it back on Telco...leaving my internet on Uverse. Still having problems.......Your company is way too big and have been in the business way to long to be having the issues you are having. Also....bring quality back to your company...customer services back to the USA and get rid of Uverse. You have to be expending way to much $$$ chasing your tail on this product. Just about ready to go to a competitor after over 30 years.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS

My mother was charged for two years for an internet service she canceled. She was using cox internet. When I found out about it I contacted AT&T via chat and they said they shut off the service and put in a credit. When I called AT&T there was no credit and the internet was still active. I can't believe there is such a disconnect between AT&T reps/departments. Then they told me they wouldn't credit me the service that I can contact blah blah blah blah to get my internet canceled and oh then they tried to sell me TV service. What a joke.

The service is a joke didnt know about this web page didnt think it was just me. Ive been with Att for 12 years. I have had to use the service department this last year OMG unbeleivable. I will be moving to verizon as soon as i get out of contract.

return policy

I have never been treated so poorly. I was pressured by a pushy salesman into buying two iphones along with two otter boxes. I was told I had to buy it that day to get the deal. That was a lie! I tried to return one of the iphones and the otter boxes two days later and was told there was a $75 dollar restocking fee!! The iphone was never activated and still sealed in plastic. I was never told this at the time of sale! The store also straight out refused to take back the never opened otter boxes. Nowhere in the store is this return policy posted. Nowhere!! I am livid. I will never shop at ATT again.
