I just cancelled my UVerse and went back to DSL. I had to tell them that, if they didn't get me back onto DSL I was going to Hughes Net--THAT got action. So, Friday I get switched back If it screws up, Hughes Net here I come!
CLASS ACTION SHOULD BE IN ORDER!!
ATT customers should file a class action against ATT for their costly negligence. The lack of knowledge of the customer service reps and the overwhelming attitude is down right criminal!
I just signed up with U-Verse, What a joke! I have had more problems with this crap in 2 weeks than I had with regular DSL in almost 8 YEARS! They tell me it takes "time" for the router to gear up in the morning because I turn it off on my power strip at night. When I had regualr DSL I didn't have to wait at all. It is like going from a 2012 Taurus to a Model-T. The only reason I did this was because the weasels at AT&T raised my DSL rates damned near every month. Much more of this "service" and I will end all my services with these clowns and go with another ISP.
I would not give them any stars as they are the worst company I have ever had the experience to deal with. Have been trying to get a correction on my phone bill for three months have not succeeded as of this writing. Their support people will never take care of you and their supervisors are always too busy or running to an appointment no matter what time of day it is. No one should ever become a new customer of this company. I am discontinuing service with them, asap.
BAD SERVICE
I transferred to ATT services hoping to save money. I went to a retail store. There I was improperly sold services by your agent and switched and baited and he actually defrauded me. Not one item he said was correct and know after 6 hours with different rep's I am left with nothing but am sorry that the outlet did that but you are responsiable for the bill. I will never do business with this company again!
I recently switched from Time Warner cable to AT&T and I am already having issues with my equipment and my bill. Not once did I call Time Warner but seems like I have to call tech support for att on a regular basis. I wanted to switch out two wireless receivers for wired but I would have to pay pay a technician to install it. As if I couldn't install it myself. I am going to pay my cancellation penalty and go back to Time Warner.
San Diego Del Mar Heights Att Store
Visited this store a few times in the past and each times it has new faces. Past visits the employees helped resolve issue with my U-verse account as well as my regular Att cell phone account. Today i stopped in with issues with my U-verse account and was told by the Mgr Cathey they couldn't help with the issue, etc, etc, etc. Tried to talk with the folks over the phone on my issue and just a big run around etc, etc. Anyway, going back to Cox or Dish for my needs, which are cheaper by far
Apple and ATT are the worst
I have an apple I phone 4s for less than a year. This morning it stopped charging. I spent over 5 hours on the phone with apple and att and the best suggestions I could get were to take phone to apple store...closest is 4 hours away or wait a week to get one in mail which would also require me to give them a credit card number over the phone. I live less than 20 minutes from multiple ATT stores but apparently it is against "policy" for me to be able to exchange phone in the store even though I bought it at an ATT store. The worst customer service representatives I have ever dealt with. Their training must consist of how to treat the customers the worst way you possibly can.
AT&T real live thieves
Not only do the like to charge for services they don't provide, now they come into your home and steal your stuff! You would think any company would be aghast at this behavoir from its own employees. AT&T actually tries to protect them and they will not help you get anything back!
AWESOME
Ok, I have to say that AT&T has outdone themselves with UVerse Customer Service and Tech Support. Whatever changes they have made I hope they keep it up!!! I have had AT&T for cellular for many years and just last year got UVerse and it has been so AWESOME! Every time I call I am not on hold for longer than a minute and that's both Customer Service and Tech Support side. If the call drops they call you back, they even follow up a week later!!! AT&T has come a long way from how it used to be. For those that haven't had good experiences there should be a number for residential and it's a horrible automated system that usually goes in circles and you can't talk to anyone. But there should also be a number for the UVerse side and like I said I have never been on hold for longer than a minute and have always had good experiences with them. I recommend UVerse to everyone I know since I have had such a wonderful experience. AT&T please keep up the great service....please don't go back to the way it was!!!

My wife and I have had AT&T service for several years now and have been completely satisfied with the phone service anywhere we have been. We live in southern WV and tower strength is often an issue. Our signal has been strong in places where some other carriers just can't get to.. The only issue we had was with a sales person that tried to help us with a tablet purchase that was not quite up to speed. The issue was handled quickly and we were back up and running in a day.

I said "shameful" but I should've said SHAMELESS for this rogue company. They have no shame and couldn't care less for their customers. I loathe, despise, and absolutely hate AT&T

AT&T has the WORST customer service. All of their reps lie to you to get you off the phone and no one does anything they say they are going to do and when you ask for a manager they have conveniently already left for the day. We will be switching to a different services carrier.
I have just had the wort experience ever, I just had a rep listen to my issue as I remained calm throughout the entire call and, as he thought that he was connecting me to the other rep, the member spoke harshly about thinking that he was speaking to another employee.......Worst experience ever.
What Customer Service ????
We switched to UVerse in order to, as AT&T recommended, to save $10/month on our bill and to get better service. Since then we have had nothing but pproblems, servuce problems and billing problems. And the people at AT&T tell us that they can't fix the problems because they are not UVerse. I am about to do what my children have done, and recommended that I do, and get rid of my land line altogether. Utilities are bad in general, but AT&T makes the rest of them look good..

May 15 2013 I was suppose to receive my modem for internet but. I called at&t & was told my equipment was delivered & left on my porch which was a LIE because I was home all day!
OK if You're NOT Prepaid
AT&T is eager to have your business, but if you want prepaid cellular, it is thoroughly communicated to you that you are a second-class citizen, a red-headed stepchild. If you're prepaid, not contract, you cannot e-mail ANYBODY at AT&T. Your are told you cannot do this or that because you are prepaid. I was PROMISED a mailing address with my prepaid service (so I could use my own bank's online bill pay and keep all my records in one place), only to find I was lied to. If you're going to get a contract, you may be okay, but only get the prepaid if you want to be consistently treated like a second-class customer, on the web site and in person.
Repair Complaint
For the past 3 months or longer, I have notified the 1 800 number and Addison repair about a pedistal that was damaged in my alley. I have been told the "dig crew" will need to make the repair and orders have been turned in. I have yet to see any repair and it was again run over today and all the wiring is exposed. I picked up the canister cover and attempted to place it back on the pedestial. The cover was lying in the alleyway. Can someone contact me and explain why this is being ignored. I'm sure phone outages are occurring or will occur. I am sorry to bother you about this issue, but it seems no one will respond. It is located in the rear of 6300 Hickory Hill, Dallas 75248.
Wost of the Worst
I have been with At&T for 10 years and have had enough of their inconsiderate service dept. I have nothing good to say about AT&T and recommend to anyone seeking phone and and internet service that they avoid AT&T at all costs.
For four days now, I've been trying to change my primary e-mail address on my AT&T Android Samsung Glide cellphone? To no avail! Because if I did this- I would lose almost 1,400 pictures within my gallery; almost 60 installed apps; several games and it would disrupt my Twitter & Facebook accounts!! Google doesn't have an easy way to change the primary e-mail address after they have disabled the primary e-mail address? Why they would do such a thing, is beyond comprehension? And AT&T cannot change anything- but charge me $108 every month for my cell service? So this review is to let you know that I will be contacting an attorney, so we can settle this before a judge in a courtroom! You can forward this complaint/review to the AT&T Corporate Offices, if this isn't them? Once again- incompetence? Laughable! Pastor Dennis Cesario 6-3-2013
