worst ever

They ripped us out of over 100 dollars. They originally told us we needed a deposit so we put one down. we couldn't get internet service really lives so they told us that we needed to mail I'm out a man and we would get out of positive well now the modem and and then they tell me that didn't need to do that because we had to pay for a new is ours to keep I do not know how to do their job they are not helpful and I are the most rude arrogant people I've ever spoke to my life and I will never again use AT&T

customer Service

AT&T customer service is among the worst I have ever used. Aside from being accidentally hung up on and having people unsure as to how to direct your call, they don't fully comply with your requests. I requested my phone service be shut off and they never did it. Now they think I should pay for the period that it remained on, even though I was already using another service. They simply never wrote down my request and therefore they insist it is my problem. It would also be nice if the customer service people weren't all spanish speaking and could actually understand English well enough to comply with requests. Even the manager was a problem!! I will never use AT&T again.

terrible service, arrogant customer service reps

After calling to discuss my bill, I was given attitude, I was hung up on. Lastly when I said i'd call corporate, they said "go right ahead" In all my years of using different cell phone companies, I have never been so disgusted. It is sad that in this day and age paying for a service still doesnt guarantee common courtesy.

AT&T CS & CLAIM REPS ARE INCOMPETENT

I had a bank error (Wells Fargo) sending an overpayment of $47,332.00 to AT&T. I have been working on this issue for almost two weeks with no answers. AT&T CS says the CLAIMS department handles these issues and they are unable to do more than send the information along. The CLAIMS department says they need more information and continue to research. The CLAIMS department apparently has no direct number and sends messages to my account that are only read to me when I call to inquire. I have been a LOOOOOOOONG time customer of AT&T (Cingular 5 Years) with cell phones, four business lines, and U-Verse at the office and at home. I do not, and will not recommend them from here forward. I have small a business and they have no sympathy or compassion for my employees who need to be paid. Hope this keeps someone out there from feeling my pain….

Very poor service

Wanted to get line share with current dsl line..was told current dsl would have to be turned off for a day to add a dial tone to line. Three days later when I called customer service to see it there was a problem, I was told no problem--but service would take a week... It took less than 30 minutes to turn dsl off , going to take 6 days to turn back on.. My question is ---I can call att and pay my bill in less than a minute, there is plenty of knowledgeable people in that dept..but call and ask for service and you have to wait 6 days to turn on a dsl line that took less than 30 minutes to turn off ---WHY.

AT&T employees the most incompetent people I have ever had the unfortunate displeasure of speaking with. They lie, contradict themselves, barely speak English and apparently didn't take math as a subject in school. Having to deal with AT&T is like getting a root canal that never ends and when it finally comes to an end you still need a root canal because nothing is ever solved. WORST COMPANY EVER, BOYCOTT AT&T!

Never never use their service

Worst customer service in the entire world. Rude, rude, rude, have no intention of ever resolving your billing issues.... Do not sign up with their service. Rip off.....,,,

Very rude representatives

Seems like when I have an issue with my billing, I usually come across a rude, angry woman on the other end of the line. When I ask to speak to a supervisor, they are no better. Some of the representatives need a refresher training course in Customer Service and politeness. They seem to take it personally when there is an issue. I have to rate Customer Service with a 2.

Services

If I had to grade AT&T for their customer service it would rate well, however, the actual service to get done and be done correctly, it would be rated at a "0"! I would never ever recommend AT&T business services to anyone! One out of the dozens of CS people I have had to speak to were nice and even helpful the others NOT at all. I have been calling CS for nearly 9 months and written headquarters and still NOTHING has been taken care of. Sad that a large company cant control the simplest of tasks.

The customer service representatives need to have extensive training on emphaty and listening skills.

misinformation

I have been a loyal At&t costumer for years. However I have to say that the costumer service is worse!! They have a bad habit of misinforming the costumers!

Poor customer service and fraudulent billing

Absolutely the worst company I delt with. Service was OK, but after the third fraudulent bill with phony charges for non-existent equipment, numerous calls to customer service without any result to correct the billing, I finally fired them. Don't need the hassle each month. I had one provider for 12 years, another for 3, and I never had to make a single call about billing. In the first 2½ month with AT&T, I talked to 8 customer service reps (including a supervisor) with no result. I don't know how they stay in business. I should have checked this site before I hired them!

Serious Billing issue

Here is the problem the exec team will be faced with. Your billing department made a $36,000 billing error and this is 4 months later and no one there resolved anything. Do us a favor go bankrupt and collect unemployment your not worth a dime. From the top down your company is disgustingly inadequate with big titles and small brains.

Poor Quality

I currently have the cable internet service. I have had 3 modems replaced in the past 4 years. The one I have is currently not working properly. So I am probably going to have this modem replaced. It is slower than the US Government when you are trying to get money owed you. Ha!

repair on phone line

AT&T. Repair service promised to get my phone problem fixed it took from weds. To the next Monday to fey fixed. This company is not what they promise. What a thing to say we will give you one month service free.

Wrong verse

I too signed up for uverse and I too am upset and I too am going to change or do without. This has been a terrible experience and I am truly disappointed to think that this huge conglomeration would treat people this way.

Poor Customer Service

I was offered a package last Dec. 2012, and I've called every month to have my bill adjusted to what we agreed to. They backed down on the deal they offered me and acted like "I" made a mistake. I wanted to cancel my contract but they charge $120. I told them I should charge them $120 for backing out on my initial contract. After 6 phones calls, I finally got someone to try to assist me. By the way, it's annoying to speak to people all over the country every time you call. All they want is their money every month. I can't wait to go to Comcast.

I am counting the minutes to when I am off this U-Verse crap! I just talked to a friend of mine who told me his computer has messed up ever since he switched a few months ago. He did not know that his bill will go from $19/month to $46 a month after a year. He said he had a workman come in to do something with his U-Verse and the man could not even get it to work--and he is a technician!

AT&T Store Staff are very nice and good at up selling. It would be nice, when the store if filled with waiting Customers, if each salesman did not spend the first 10 minutes trying to gauge whether or not they could up sale or bundle a home phone onto the new account or existing account. It's frustrating when, you've waited for 30 minutes, three AT&T employees out of six actually helping customers, and your still at the bottom of the list. The customers waiting Wait Way To long, you have managers I guess taking names As we walk in to put us on the list. They ask what and why you are here at AT&T, theanger should say we have 5 people ahead of you All looking to purchase new phone so I will be over an hour wait. AT&T knows how's to up sell but keeping their customers from switching to intelos or another carrier is another story. Existing customers with problems get priority over there. Now I see why it's important.
