Cruelty to animals
I am writing about the stupid commercials for AT&T, in particular the one where the girl says she wants to be a slow turtle because it takes longer to get run over on the street. Why are you teaching cruelty to animals in your commercial? Why don't you say that evolved and compassionate people STOP, pick up the turtle, and finish crossing it to the other side???? Also the one where it says "Can't you BUY a puppy?" Why don't you say Adopt a puppy from the shelter? I find you ignorance and lack of compassion for animals very offensive. I do not have any business with AT&T and never will. EVOLVE.

Customer service representatives located outside of the continental US never have answers. They are constantly transferring my calls, then disconnecting during the transfer. These people are useless. We need American customer service reps., please.
What is AT&T doing giving massive donations to the people who are trying to take away women's rights? I can tell you now for certain that AT&T knows nothing about women's health, nor cares, they only care about politics. I can see they don't care whether they have business from Women. I plan to tell everyone I know of their deceit. It is treachery and a lack of education and caring about others. Shame on AT&T. AT&T used to be a good corporation.

This is a joke when you call in. I can not speak to a manager. To get a number for Corporate is also a joke. I had to take my own time to look it up myself. After finding a number I still get the call center after calling 210-821-4105. Now doing this all over again I feel a customer for over 20 year should not have this problem. I feel very sorry for your employees as they have to deal with complaints and they can do nothing about anything.... Thank god for good people and how hard they try. First rep. Was a joke and then I got this nice man to help me. About time.... I also feel the supervisors should be nicer and understanding to the customer as I was stated that no manager are there and it take 2-3 weeks for a call back. Again what a joke.....

Customer adn Technical Support
In 30 years I have never dealt with a poorer company for customer service or technical support. I finally went to and ATT office for help and the person called ATT for help. His comment to the ATT service person "Ma'am. You don't have to yell."

Poor service! Lie about warranty. Illegally accessed info remotly on my phone without permission. Do not use service.
Misrepresentation
Att is very deceptive. According to them they credit me 200 because they sent me a microcell to have better reception from home as I had very poor signal. Ok so when I call to make a payment the rep said my balance is only 43 dollars because I received a credit of 200 dollars for the microcell they sent. I asked again that's it, I don't owe more? She said no. This month I look at my bill on line to see that I have a balance of 455 dollars! They failed for lack of a better word, to tell me that I was credit 200 but it will be applied to next months bill. Both reps misinformed me. I don't understand how they can get away with this. Is it because their corporate office is in TEXAS,hmm. And I'm calling their corporate office and its runs through automated system, not one live person. WOW! But that okay I'm not stopping here.
bad service
My home phone (land) and cell phone have been bundled for years, since July 4, 1984, with automatic payments to AT&T from my bank account. Just recently they were not bundled and I started getting text messages that my cell phone was past due. I called and they said I had not paid the bill. I went online to my bank and it showed that the amount had been taken out of my bank account on June 6, 2013. I called AT&T who confirmed that this was paid, both land and cell. I called the cell phone number and told them but they said they were not paid. I asked what happened to the money. They said it was never paid. A case was opened but the matter was still not resolved plus I spoke to a supervisor who promised he would find out what happened. No resolution. Nothing but run around tactics.

AT & T has a very negative attitude towards consumers, the service is extremely terrible and representatives rude, the corporate offices do not care as long as they find people stupid enough to keep their services.
Worst Customer Service
At&T Promises you fantastic service and customer service. This is the opposite of what it actually gives you. The sales and management staff at the store misrepresents the product and customer service relations sends you in circles telling you who to contact, but not giving you the contact name or number. If you want POOR service and MISREPRESENTATION then AT&T is your company! I give it a minus 10 stars.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible
AT&T has so many incompetent customer service representatives. No matter how many people you speak to you never get the same answer twice. When you make a mistake with your payments they don't hesitate to turn your service off. On the other hand, if they process your credit card twice you have to fight to get your money refunded. I even asked for the corporate address and was told "I'm sorry but I can't give that information out." Completely incompetent on every level!!!
customer service and bait and switch billing
Awful at&t customer service. I signed up for advertised pricing and am being charged a higher monthly fee. After monthd of complaining to customer service wrote out complaint to fcc and at&t complaint dept. The address the customer service gave me was not valid address. Next step BBB.!!!
the worst
AT&T has to be the worst, in my opinion, of any company ever. Time and again I thought of going back to AT&T to bundle but each time I suffered more aggravation and changed my mind. You always quote one price and when the bill comes it is much higher than quoted. Not fair to mislead people. Today I phoned at 8 am, was on hold four times (got disconnected 4 times as well) for 30-35 minutes. Each time had to go thru the same information and got nowhere. The last rep promised to straighten out my bill from now on. From past experience, I will probably have to go thru this every month. One of the many reasons I cancelled home service was when AT&T billed me for a service call I did not authorize(with penalties each month up to $150) and it took Public Service Commission to void that charge. Very bad for people with health issues. You are, in my opinion, the #1 company that causes more stress than anyone else.
Dissatisfied customer
AT&T uverse is unwilling to work with there customers. I have been with AT&T for quit sometime now. There unwillingness to work with a customer that has not had services turned off before is very sad to me.
Cable Disaster
I have only been with At&T for about a year for cable and for the fifth time I am without cable due to the hard drive being out in the box. I have had three boxes replaced in the last month. The amount of time spent on the phone is irreplaceable. Tech never even showed up yesterday as scheduled and I have to wait another three days. Was told we would receive a credit on bill that has yet to happen. I do not recommend anyone to ever switch to this cable. Over the last three years I have also had three different internet boxes...frustrating to say the least!
I have had AT&T cellular service for more than 16 years in Phoenix. The customer service support has always been of the highest quality. I am particularly happy with the telephone support staff, they have the answers and fulfill requests in a timely manner.

I have been an AT&T customer for years. We had their DSL service but wanted to see if there was something faster to watch videos on the Ipad. The rep informed us we needed to go the U-verse direction. We agreed to it, spending $100 for the new modem & $50 activation fee. It is NO faster than what we had and cost us $150 + for nothing. Two emails to corporate have gone unanswered! Way to go AT&T. No recommendations coming from this household!!
The telephone lines to my house were cut by a tree trimmer. I attempted to contact AT&T. It took me 20 minutes to contact a live person. They were in sales. He transferred me to customer service, off shore. She could not understand my need as a physician to have my service restored. She read her script and said a routine appointment would be the next day in a 12 hour window. I requested the supervisor. He read the same script. When I insisted upon speaking to someone in the USA he reluctantly transferred me to a tech in Texas. He stated that he had no means of communicating with the California dispatcher. He would try to send him/her a chat. He said he would call back, he never did call me on my cell phone. This is an excellent example of a culture that does not care about effective communication with the customer. I am looking at going to another carrier who can offer customer service when needed. I suspect this is a theme for AT&T. A substantial loss of market share may cause some focus on revamping customer service.
