I WAS A CUSTOMER AT 10275 LOCATION STORE NUMBER 0209 STANDING IN A LINE WHILE THE CASHIER WAS TALKING ON THE PHONE FOR 20 MINUITES. iT WAS A NO BRAINER THAT THIS WAS A PERSONAL CALL WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD TALK ON THE PHONE TO A SUPPOSE CUSTOMER FOR 20 MINUTES WHEN YOU HAVE A LINE OF PAYING CUSTOMERS. nEVER ONCE THE THE CASHIER MAKE EYE CONTACT OR AKNOWLEDGE ANY PERSON IN THE GROWING LINE. A female customer walked up a the same cashier who never adressed the customers in line asked her if he could help her. What happen to customer service? The man who was first spoke up and the cashier became offended. The customer explained all he wanted to do is pay for his item in his hand. Chris the store manager came out because he could hear the commotion. we customers verifyed what he stated and Chris told the customer to get out. This is who represent your store. I found the behavior of Pepboys employees inappropriate and hostile.I will never be a customer .

well we can start it off right now." I told him that how long would it take and I had the list of things they had already given to me a month b4, so I hand him the estimate paper and ask how long would all that take , he said about 4 to 5 hours,. I was fine with that but I did ask, will it be done today because i didnt have a ride so I was gonna be walking in the area to wait. he assured me that they would finish in 5 hours tops. so I leave my car, I hang around in walking distance to kill some time, then about 4pm I call to see how its going, he says we need more time, I said ok, I kill more time then I call around 6pm, The guy Bravo tells me," oh Im almost done, I should be finished by 7 to 7:30pm, by this point i was Like, what but fine as long as its done the same day like he had said in the beginning. I had even called back and asked him what time does the store close, he said 9pm, so I was like ok, my car will be done way before that hour, so 7pm comes along and I go to the shop after Ive been waiting all dam day, and I come and see my car with the hood up in the oil change door way, so im thinking they r just lubeing up and they are almost done. I ask the guy working there, hows my Ford Taurus? he replies with,"didnt the guy (Bravo) call you and tell you that the car wont be done til tomorrow," I told him no,I just called him about an hour ago and he told me he was almost done with my car,and he would be done by 7 or 7:30 so here i am. He starts dialing his phone, and calls Bravo and talks to him about me being there and what he told me, I have no clue what that bravo guy told him but he then tells me,"its that he was having a hard time unscrewing some screw, and that he had a better tool at home",then with that said, he says "well he went to go get his tool, but he lives far away so now he is not coming back", ok by now none of this makes sense since the store closes at 9pm but the guy had left early after telling me that my car was almost done and to top it all off, better tool or no better tool, He couldnt give me a courtesy call that my car wasnt going to be done til the next day so he left me not only waiting but stranded with no car to take me home plus I couldnt get to work this morning and plus my car is still at the shop right now Saturday 12:30pm the next day I called the corporate office, they said they get back with me in 48 hours and my car still at that stupid pep boys shop and no work salary for me. What a crock of B.S.! That Bravo should be fired for the uncalled for behavior and not being proffessional and to teach the rest of the workers a lesson of what not to do next time they need more time to work on a car and have the desency to tell customer something.I believe my car is just parked there and nobody is working on it! These unproffessional guys are making your company look so bad that i will never go to a pep boys again in my life! I will pass the treatment I got around Face book and all my family and friends as well.

Pep boys service time for my vehicle was quoted at "a couple of hours". 8 hours and still waiting. What a bunch of clowns. Hard to blame employees as they are not very smart. However the organization is madeup of bright people who should be ashamed of themselves for impersonating professionals.

July 17th my car was taken into pep boys and it is Sept 2 and I still do not have my car. I just want my car fixed....

WENT TO PEP BOYS IN NORTH CHARLESTON,S.C. BOUGHT 4 TIRES,WHEN IT CAME TO GETTING A TIRE REPAIRED,THEY PLUGGED IT AND IT KEPT LEAKING AT THE PLUG THAT THEY PUT IN.THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE TIRE,I SAID I HAVE THE ROAD HAZZARD WARRENTY ON THEM.THE TIRES HAD 9/32 OF TREAD ON THEM OR ABOUT 12000 MILES AND THEY CHARGED ME OVER HALF THE PRICE OF A NEW TIRE AND TOLD ME I HAD TO BUY A NEW ROAD HAZZARD WARRENTY AGAIN BECAUSE I USED MINE.THE MANAGER ALAN TOLD ME THAT WAS IN THE FINE PRINT,WHEN I ASKED HIM TO SHOW ME HE SAID FOR ME TO READ IT HE WAS BUSY....DO NOT GO TO PEP BOYS ON RIVERS AVE. IN NORTH CHARLESTON S.C.ALAN THE MANAGER WILL NOT BACK THE STORES WARRENTY........

The customer svc at the washington rd. location is augusta ga is by far the wrost customer svc anyone could receive... The workers don't have a clue, management is even less clueless....When they installed my tires, they hit a brake line, knocking it loose then refussing to fix it....I call corp office, filled a claim and was told they'd get back to me in 48 hrs....I have to take my truck to another shop to fix then screw up and now I don't have a vehicle to drive until Monday (this all happened this morning Friday).....NEVER will I step on their property again... i went to pep boys to have a compressor replaced for my 1988 dodge van. told the service manager that the a/c has not been used for years.when the part was replaced thats when everything started going wrong. first there was no system evaluation done. a 25 year old van you can expect other system parts to be concerned about. during the time they had my van there were no phone calls to me, i had to call to check the status of my vehicle. the bill included extended warranties that weren't discussed with me, assuming i wanted to purchase them.the next day i experienced a slow start to my engine.later that day wouldn't start. towed it back to pep boys , told the service manager we had to jump start the van in order to get it accessible for the wrecker. all that day the mechanic simply got in the van and started up a vehicle that had been recently charged. with no phone call again,i asked the manager when i called had he even hooked the van up to there fancy analyzer and his response was simply no.they must have found something because when i picked it up it cranked up for a day and a half. then that day it started leaking antifreeze so fast i was on the side of the road again.towed for the third time in eight days.for the next five days they said they were trying to find the leak.long story short, i now need anger management, and a lawyer.there customer service is the worst i've ever dealt with ,there machanics are incompetent, and the floor and service managers at this tallahassee pep boys are liars and in fact should seek some other line of work, like politics! i'm spreading the word tallahassee pep boys

In addition to my previous text, the store address is 3829 Austell Roao, Austell, GA 30008.

You can always tell the heart of the company when they are in the middle of a crisis. I usually go to Pep Boys because it's conveniently located close to my home. On today, I was purchasing a part for someone else, and when I went in ALL of the staff members were just standing around. When I went to go get the part, I was told that the system was down, and they did not know where the part was. Between all the people I spoke with Floyd (manager), Kenneth (manager), Ricardo (parts), and William (register), no one could assist me, or even have decent customer service skills. I won't be going to that Pep Boys again. I rather quality service over convenience.

I needed tires for my F250 pick-up to replace the 35” tall tires. I knew shopping around would be the only way to find what I wanted for a tread pattern and of course to save money. After receiving several quotes I pulled into Pep Boys and spoke with Matt Fasig the manager of the Spring Valley, Ca. facility. After stating what I was looking for Matt gave me a quote and I said thank you and proceeded to the door. He asked what he could to have my business and I replied save me money. Not only did he save me cash but he recommended other tires that were a little more but he charged me the same. While they were installing the tires I observed the daily operations of this facility. I am very familiar with cars and how to repair and what is required. Not only did they treat each customer with total respect whether in person or on the phone they did not try to sell unwarranted parts or labor. The goal was to only do it right. They finished mounting the tires on my truck but the mechanic did not like the wheel weights they used because they rubbed on the brake caliper and it was now closing time. Knowing I was going to use my truck on Sunday they said they would get the proper weights and deliver my truck to my house. They drove me to my house and went above and beyond customer service to do it right. My truck was delivered to my house at 8:00 p.m. Having taken courses on customer service with my employer I observed supreme service and team work like I have never seen in any other car service center including dealers. I am one who will write or call when service is bad and the need to be noticed but I can only say Matt and his team at Pep Boys are very few and far between in true customer service. You may wish to have Matt show other Pep Boy teams his knowledge of team building.

WOW! I didn't realize how bad Pep Boys really was and they are still in business WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought my experience was ridiculous - obviously not. Same incompetencey the only difference so far is that everyone was very courteous and pleasant - sorry still no excuse for the ineptitude of the workers. I went to the Pep Boys in Eatowntown, NJ for a battery. The person at the desk Ray said he would install the battery and it would take minutes. (I had called first) Great! The car was parked 2 parking spaces away from the entrance. He went out put the battery in, came in, I paid and then that is where the problem started. He went to hand me a set of keys that were not mine. I told him I never saw him come in with my keys. So the morale of the story is that in 5 minutes he lost my keys. A five minute job turned into so far five hours of lost work and the next day another hour of lost time and it still is not resolved. After some not so clear thinking on everyone's part (I was beside myself and couldn't think straight) the mechanic drove me to the dealership to get a new key made. I have a key and factory wireless entry system. The key did not fit when we got back. Ray offereed to rent me a car next store because of course the dealership did not have a wireless entry and had to order it and did not have anymore blank keys (really). After a hassel at the Enterprise rental agency I came back to Pep boys to find out that they got the key to work but they had to force it in the lock and you had to jiggle it in both the door and the ignition. Drove the car home but could not lock the car. The next day they wanted to call when the key was delivered and have me meet them at the dealership to make sure the key worked FAT CHANCE I made them bring the key to me. Of course the next day they called at 4:35 again wanted meet to drive to meet their person. I got a good working key but am still waiting for the remote. And I paid for this aggravation and lost wages from me job - on my fourth day of a new job. Don't worry Pep Boys has not heard the last of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way curious that now all of sudden after paying with that bank card, when I logged into my account they say that there was another attempt to login from another computer just hours after using it at Pep boys. Let's face it the PEP is gone time to call it quits. Let Manny, Moe and Jack rest in peace!

Something is wrong with the BOSCH BATTERIES. They only last less than 1 year. I have been to pep boys twice . All I hear is. WE HAVE TO CHECK THE BATTERY. Then all I hear is. THE BATTERY IS GOOD. I had the last battery checked 2 times, at other auto parts store, they told me the battery was BAD. Which is was. The store clerk said it was GOOD. Hmmmmm. I see a satanic connection here. wow to them who say good is bad and bad is good.

Actually, a score or rating of 1 is still too high for the Clovis, CA service station. My husband contacted the store/station regarding a tire repair and was advised to go ahead and come on in since there was still ample time before closing hours. When he arrived he was not assisted and turned away because of the approaching closing hours and miscommunication between workers. The call was made at 6:29pm to the store. He was there by 6:35pm and left only to end up with a complete flat tire on the side of the road. This is bad customer service!! You will never have another chance of having my business again!!!

I went to the Pep Boys Store in Lake Forrest Drive Lake 92630. 949-855-9593 I was impressed by the service. Thank you very much. Sam Glassman

I puchase a battrey at pep boys, a bosh in 12/19/2010, today went out to my car and battrey was dead, after standing 1 1/2 hour in over a 100 % Heat, some one stop and gave me a gump, went to the pep boys at 75th ave and peoria, peoria az, withproper paper work, they test my battrey and the test showed it need replace at end of battrey life, but was not completely dead. the man i spoke to said they could not warranty untill dead. Another man walked out of the back and ask, what was the issue, the other man said they battrey was not completly dead yet, so could not warranty it, Ken spoke up and said replace it we do not want her to get stranded some where it telling us it need to be replaced. Ken was wonderfull, he was so helpfull and care about me as a customer, I worked for 25 years at ups in customer services, Ken need a gold star , that kind of compassion, and customer service is not found today. he a keeper, give him a big kudo for me, cathy benson of peoria az .thank you and god bless

I went to Pep Boys on Abercorn Street in Savannah, GA for possible fuel leak. The woman at the front desk asked the mechanic is he busy. At first, he didn't respond. He seemed like he didn't want to do anything but stand around. So finally he said he can check the car. My family and I walked to a nearby store in the shopping plaza and it was about ten minutes later and they called to come back to the store. We walked back to the store they told me that the fuel line broke and that he (mechanic) just touched the line. Yeah rite.. I was furious because the mechanic broke the fuel line. Then want to charge us $900 to get it repaired. I told him the car was driveable when I came here and now I can't drive the car. I had to get my car towed. There's no way I was going to let them work on my car when they broke the fuel line completely off. You can look at the line and see that it was snapped off freshly done by them. The same day I was there they broke another customer's window. I think they break parts on your car for you to get it repaired and charge you tremendous fees. I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS AND UNTRAINED SO CALLED MECHANICS! THIS PLACE IS FULL OF LIARS.

I took my son's truck for brakes and rotors, and tires rotation. The bill was close to $700.00 so I charged in on my PEP BOYS card. I believe the service on the truck was good and we are happy with it. To the shop I give it 5 stars. For customer service I gave it a BIG ZIP and a rasberry! I have been a look time customer of PEP BOYS and family members have worked for them. HOWEVER, everytime that I bring a vehicle for some type of service, I am told that I will be notified when the work is completed. HA! It has never happened! So, I have figured out when is the best time to show up; I wait until 4:00pm and I am sure the vehicle will be ready because the mechanic/employee that worked on it is ready to go home. This last time, when I went back for the pickup a relief counter dude, about 40 years old, was looking at a paper as I stood directly in front of him. At first impression,I thought he was a mechanic because his blue outfit was dirty and oily and he did not acknowledgeor looked at me. After a couple of minutes a mechanic came out from the shop and said to him that he was leaving. The two of them started talking about a personal matter for about 3 minutes; then the employee departed. The "customer service" clown continued with his paperwork while I waited. I was the only customer in the store waiting for to give my money away, to him, for Pep Boys! I wondered if he wanted me to run the credit card, complete the paper work, get my keys, and thank myself, and say to myself "Come back, now, you hear?". After 5 minutes I said to him if he was ready for me. He looked up and said yes. I had to spell my name so he could find my paperwork. He took my pep boys credit card said to sign the paper gave me the keys and did not say thank you, screw you, or anything! During the entire time that I was before "Mr. Happy", he never smile, nor said anything. I thought of Harpo Marx and Buster Keaton. At least they acknowldged you. Telling on my age, huh? Generally, this store has outstanding customer service employees. He needs training. I truely believe he is like this all the time. Thanks

Went to the Pepboys on Route 17 in Hackensack Heights NJ for two new tires and asked about the on line special of purchase two tires and get a free oil change. The manager named Laura told me that we were honoring that special anymore even though it was on line. After she rudely walked away I took my business to Sears where I got my tires, alignment, oil change. Sears thanks you pepboys and so do my four other friends that needed there oil change and new tires

You should allow zero stats because that's what your company deserves! ! You suck

To whom it may concern, Up until now I have always thought that the Pepboys in Bossier City, LA was the best I had ever been to. I am from New Orleans and the service was adequate there. The reason your rati g has clone down is due to a visit and was told that Mr. James Shaw was no longer with your company. This really saddened me because this gentleman was an incredible employee. He always greeted me by name which in many companies such as yours is very rare. He treated me with kindness and respect and made sure that the over employees gave their best when they were working. Your employees there are wonderful people who care for the customer. I feel it was a bad move on your part to have let Mr. James Shaw go. I hope you would reconsider your choice and bring him back to your company. He was a GREAT asset.
