Please don't be fooled by the text you receive for deals cricket has to offer. I received text stating to upgrade or add a line of service and the first months bill is $15.00, I went to my cricket store and upgraded to a muve music phone and was told that I could not get my first months bill for $15.00 I have to add a new line of service. A month after, I bought my son a muve music phone and once again at a different store was told I could not use the $15.00 promotion for the first months bill this is only if you upgrade a current phone. I explained to them that I already upgraded a month prior and now adding new line of service and both times been turned down the promotion. I called cricet customer service.. what a joke! was told by the rep and the manager sorry, you can only get the promotion at a corporate store.. I stated why did the text not say go to corporate store. Why did neither of the cricket stores I visited and purchased new phones state you can only get the deals at a corporate store. I think this is lack of communication on Cricket's part and even though they may be a franchise store they still carry the Cricket name and someone should be able to help. The manager did not want to hear a word you said. I think they all read from scripts and don't understand anything you are telling them. I will be switching to a new plan. I don't think Cricket really cares about their customers.

Cricket is affordable..I was paying over 130.00 a month for an unlimited plan with verizon, I pay about 54.00 with cricket. I had my Verizon DROID X flashed to work on the cricket networ k and it works great! Voice quality is good but that's probable. because I'm using a better quality phone then they Sell. I personally never had a problem with not getting a signal and I have traveled from NC to CT. I will give 5 stars when they offer true nationwide coverage.

I previously posted my experience with this company. Today, I attempt to log on and again it won't let me. So again, I call India apparently, and speak to what they call customer service. Again I'm told it will take 48 hours to get the modem activated, when I ask why did it work last night for an hour and now it doesn't, the usual response "I don't know." When I asked why it would take another 48 hours to fix, the answer "I don't know." Well enough is enough, I returned the modem and the $30 pay as you go card to the Walmart, purchased a Virgin Mobil Modem, installed it and here I am on the internet it less than 20 minutes. So I search for an email address for Cricket's Corporate offices, finally find one, spend an hour and a half writing my complaint, send the email, only to go back into my email to find out that that email address does not exist. WOW!!! I would have never dreamed of a company whose vision is to not assist customers, to lie to them, to make empty promises and to just straight up not care. Karma is not going to be nice to the employees of Cricket, and you can bet that I will post, call and email everyone I know and them some to tell them how horrible this company is. Good riddance.....

Well, I purchased the cricket broadband modem. I brought it home, installed it, and bam-a message came up telling me to call customer service. So I did, after being on hold for 25 minutes, I get a man who could barely speak English. I tried to explain to him what was going on, he had me reboot the computer, move the modem to a different usb port, manually connected...etc...only to have it not work. He then stated he would put in a ticket to tech support. When I asked to speak to his manager, I got another person who could barely speak English, by now, I'm furious...I asked him for someone who speaks English as a native language and he told me that was not an option. I explained to him that what he was providing me was not customer service and all he would say is transferring you is not an option. so I hung up...called back and another 25 minutes later spoke to a young woman named Emily (yeah right...she was Indian but ok...)explained the situation to her, she stated that they only sell one modem. when you get the modem you have to call so they can tell the modem that its a monthly plan modem or a pay as you go, I told her great tell it it's a pay as you go, she stated that it would take up to 48 hours for them to get the modem reprogrammed. She apologized for the hassle and gave me a free month. GREAT!!! The next day I tried to get online, and it let me, for a minute, then cut me off. So I called again, I simply asked the rep. how much longer, and his response was I don't know. So I asked him, could you call tech support and give me a time frame? As soon as possible is the time frame. I explained that if it was going to take longer than a day I would be returning the modem to the store and going with another provider, he daid "do what you feel you need to do." WHAT??????? I then asked to speak to a manager, explained the whole deal to him, he stated he would call tech support and call me back....I asked him how long until I hear back from him...he said a half hour...well it's now been 3.5 hours and no response, but it is working now....So my complaint...SPEAK ENGLISH!! two-the cusotmer is always right....three-as soon as possible is not an acceptable answer, four-train your people on how to speak English, how to be polite and most of all how to resolve issues!!!!! And by golly don't you DARE tell me that you can't let me speak to someone who speaks English...if you choose to run a business in AMERICA where the native language is ENGLISH, than train your people how to speak it!!!!

Living outside the city limits, I do not have access to high speed internet except for satellite (requires contract) and Cricket. After only six months of Cricket Broadband I am very disappointed with their billing. I refuse to being forced into any form of automatic payment after all the bad reviews I read. Therefore, I send a check each month a full ten days before it's due. They must need much more than ten days because the checks are not being posted. I am getting past due e-mails. I would never recommend Cricket to anyone for this reason. Incompetency is the norm. As soon as I can get another service, I will drop Cricket. I do not use their cell phones nor would I ever in the future. Very disappointed. No other company I do business with has this "check in the mail" problem even with snail-mail.

Cricket phones are tht worse experience we have ever had. We went to a Cricket Phone store in west jordan, Ut. and they gave an address in Texas to mail our monthly BILL IN phone we did so about December 20th. ABOUT CHRISTMAS TIME IT WAS WEIRDLY CONNECTED WE GUESS SO WE COULD TEXT COMMERCIALS FOR MORE EXPENSIVE PHONES. NOW IT IS DISCONNECTED AGAIN? If any of you have any solutions to this horrible service email us at colleenlaterart@gmail.com Our cricket phone number is 801-854-2136. We will very soon go to another phone company. Are we Flakes? Hardly--we haved paid cash for a new home being built here in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Bud Later 1974 Trellis pl Saratoga Springs, Ut. 84045

I bought someone a broadband device for Christmas and they have not been able to activate it. When we call they say someone will call back in 48 hrs. after 3 call and 3 (48hrs) I'm fed up. One told me that the device wasn't suppose to be sent to Walmart as a prepaid device and was a bad shipment. the device can't be activated. Maybe someone at head quarters can help (MEID # 268435460613768886)Model: HUAWEI EC1705 all I ask is for some assistance. Kenneth Brooks kmbjaguar@netzero.net (410)736-8131

I paid in advance in October for my November bill. Cricket then contacted me saying they had not received my payment. I faxed them the confirmation of payment they sent to me and my bank statement showing the money was taken out of my account by cricket. I then decided enough was enough and took my service to another company requesting a refund for my pre payment. This was on the day before Thanksgiving. I then was told I had to yet again fax the proof of payment over to them within 24 hours or I would not get my refund. I spent my holiday seeking a fax machine to fax this info over to them. It is now December 26th and I have not yet received my refund. Cricket states that I need to again fax over the proof of payment again in within 24 hours to get my refund. I had been a customer for years before this and am incredibly upset that they sent me a card in the mail statig that I need not worry about my past due charges if I want to come back to them. WHAT PAST DUE CHARGES? They owe me.

Better Business Bureau, This complaint is about my experience with Cricket Wireless; I paid in advance in October for my November bill. Cricket then contacted me saying they had not received my payment. I faxed them the confirmation of payment they sent to me and my bank statement showing the money was taken out of my account by cricket. I then decided enough was enough and took my service to another company requesting a refund (29.62) for my pre payment. This was on the day before Thanksgiving. I then was told I had to fax the proof of payment over to them within 24 hours or I would not get my refund. I have called Cricket Customer Service several times over the past two months and even tried the corporate office (which just rings and rings forever). I feel like I was stolen from and also cannot get them to stop sending me mail or texting my new number. Can you please help mediate a solution as I want my refund based on principle alone?

The apps on my phone kept moving around, it would never stay in the same spot. Cannot receive calls. voicemail is blurred. Incoming and outgoing messages. Went to a cricket corp.

I have spent 45.00 on phone calls to cricket broadband telling them I cannot download anything because the connection is to slow. They kept promising they were looking into it and even gave me a work order number(you see where this is going). You will hear from us within two days. Two days later they cut me off and told me I had downloaded my 2.5 gig. limit in less than 10 days. I couldnt download 2.5 gig with this service in ten months much less 10 days. Word of mouth is a strong tool and so is the internet,I intend to use both to warn people of the out right ripoff of cricket wireless. And please someone give marsha at the top of this page a midol.

I am totally disgusted with Crickets so-called customer service, which is non existent. It is ridiculous that although I have put in for automatic payment on 2 phones and 1 modem. The direct payments only seem to go through every other month. Trying to get to speak to an actual person (prefer one who speaks or understands English) is a complete and utter (not funny)joke. I have been complaining about Crickets automated service for over 3 years now and the issues get worse. The price for the phones and the unlimited service is the reason why I went to cricket but the frustration on a monthly basis to either get the bill paid or to find out that for whatever reason the automatic bill pay did not work is like finding gold at the end of the rainbow(there is none). If and when you do through you are so frustrated that you don't even want to be bothered. Also the number at the top of this website must be a ghost number since no one ever answers the phone. I am going to send this to the corporate email address and see if that will work (probably not)

ALL YOU GUYS BEING "HATERS", need to stop being so damn high maitenance! you pay for what you get, so stop piss whining because your having an issue! maybe its actually YOU who has the bad additude. You probably dont get anything resolved because your heads are so far up your righteous ASSES to where you dont have the patients to let them try to help you!

I love crickit comunications,i own this company in my imagination....i will cancel all your plans and smash all of your phones, pay up now with my flexible bridge pay. this payment method ensures me money from you the idiot customer... after I recieve your bridge pay,i shut your service back off hahahaha im the boss of your communications

I recieved a two texts from cricket last saturday december the 10th advising me to refer to gift 4444 for a free month of service along with happy holidays from cricket.I replied to the text and was told the phone wud be turned on in 12-24 hrs.Monday rolled around and still no service.Tuesday I visited the local cricket store and showed the cricket rep the text. he called customer service and put them on speaker phone so all cud hear. His exct quote was,I guarantee the phone will be turned on today. Not to my surprise wednesday morning the phone was not turned on.I called the store rep I saw on tuesday and once again customer service promised to have the phone turned on today.Lo and behold thursday morning the phone was still not turned on.At this point offended and upset I called the store rep once again. He informed me the phone was canceled period and advised me to visit the corporate office in houston.Being disgusted with crickets pis poor service at this point and losing all faith in crickets ability to commit I was not going to drive to the corporate office to make a wasted trip. The store rep gave me the phone number to corporate and made clear to me it was a waste of time as they wont answer the phone.Go figure. I asked him why they canceled the service when they text me saying my service for the next month was a christmas gift along with corporate not answering the phone. His response was I dont know. What an answer,I dont know.I have been with cricket for three yrs and have paid for my service faithfuly.I fell behind the last month due to unemployment and hard times.Cricket interupted my day with a text giving me a gift for christmas and then after chasing them around for four days canceled my phone permanently. The store rep has all my notes to validate their commitments to me on the computer and still I got a slap in the face.after reading all the above comments as well as my own it goes to show you whoever is the big man in charge runs a sloppy pis poor business with no integrity.how wud you feel if I offered you a gift and then zeroed your name out.their standard is way beyond poor and I will make sure to tell everybody.

I have been a cricket communications client for over two years. months ago all three cell phone lines started having issues with the text messaging as well as the data. After 8 months of calls, tickets, emails, taking the phones to stores the texting was resolved. For the last month I have attempted to no avail to resolve the data portion and was told by the technician who finally fixed the texting it was probably an equipment issue. I spoke with Mr. Ojeda National Sales Operations Manager at Cricket Regional Customer Operations Manager at Cricket Communications on Friday 12/9/11 and with the usual condescending attitude of the San Diego office and similar accusatory voice I had received previously he stated our phones were in actuality NOT having any issues. I ended the conversation with him offering to meet him to show him the error messages two of the phones continue to receive and in hopes we could resolve this problem once and for all. He called me back and set up an appointment the next morning. I met with the Pete Ojeda that Saturday at one of the stores and provided him a detail list of site we attempted to go on both phones the day before, times and error messages. As we stood there, I also showed him on the spot the problems we were encountering just hear him say “it seems you expect a 3g service when you have a 1g” , I explained that no, we simply wanted a service that did not have multiple daily messages when attempting to log on yahoo, hotmail ect. and he proceeded to amongst other things to inform my husband and I that and I quote:”you are receiving the service that you pay for and for the kind of phone that you have, this kind of issues are expected, you will not be able to get on many sites' According to him even his wife had the same model phone [msgm8] with similar issues and all though there are pre-set settings one should not expect to actually access it. In his normal accusatory tone he scolded me for "my behavior by contacting his higher ups" after he stipulated your company would not do any further attempts to resolve this situation and he had received the Okay from all his superiors to cancel our service and send us a letter of termination. Today 12 days before Christmas my daughter, husband and I awake to find that this kind of bulling strong arm tactics and intimidation are not rare with cricket communications a subsidiary of Leap, as easily planted on every sight you go on when you goggle the company information. My phones all have been disconnected, this morning i made a $135 payment just to find out that the month they credited has been reversed and now I am being charged more than that and a full cancelation notice appears on the screen when you speak with customer service . I have been sending emails to the corporate offices as well as executive team to no avail. 2 of the phones that still have issues were provided by the company when we continued to have issues with the texting and data in July 2011 and I purchased my android for $99.99 that same month which removed the data problem only. Up until November 2011 the texting had not been working properly on ANY of the three lines. Sadly as with many clients who have worked hard for their phone service we are being bullied because yet again this corporation seems to believe that they can do as they please without any accountability virtually saying that you and your family do not deserve a reliable service with customer care. Help me and others say “NO MORE” to such practices and telling BIG corporations to remember that we are the reason they are so big, customer service is a right not a privilege! Free to contact: Pete Ojeda Regional Customer Operations Manager at Cricket at 760-755-4930 his cell [you will hear a sublime song but it is his cell] or Stephanie at 858-882-9082 office number both work for the corporate office

This is an unusual email. I am a mother of three, but who currently only has one child living at home. This christmas, we will have no money or gifts for our son, he is ten. I am asking you if you please can help us. We have been a valued customer to cricket for years, about five. I am humbly asking for any help, of any type. For us to be able to buy our son at least one gift. thank you 615-568-4620

Can’t believe it! I have spent hours on line to support. I tried to buy a phone that was on sale from the web and it kept saying “The shopping cart is unavailable at this time. Please try again later.” I had purchased my last phone on the web, on sale. I had a problem then, but they finally fixed it. The support person gave me a number to call and said they would help me. When I called the number they gave me they said it not right place and gave me another number. This happened twice more. They told me nothing was wrong with the web site and they had not received any calls to say the site wasn’t working. Liars! I was finally told to go to the store and they would handle it. When I went to the store the manager of the Springfield, OR store wouldn’t come out of the back to talk to me. My 1 year old phone is dying and I can’t spend a lot of money (Retired on fixed income) for a phone. What a bunch of lying crooked people! Only said 1 star because they didn't have a no star option
