Some butcher. They didn't have ground chicken and they would not grind it for me. I thought this was a full service meat counter but I was wrong. The other store, better than wholly foods but more distant from my house, never blinked just ground up some chicken for me. They lost a customer today but I'm sure corporate couldn't care less. I've learned to shop at locally owned stores in one short lesson.
I'm really sorry to hear about the horrific customer service stories on this website. I have to say that the Whole Foods in Colorado Springs, the East Side location, has been amazing to me and my family every time we have been in the store. The employees are gracious and more than willing to help me find whatever I am looking for in the store. If I have a question about a product and the person helping me doesn't know the answer they have always gone out of their way to find someone in the store that can answer the question for me. Not many people will do that these days. Thanks to the employees in Colorado Springs for the great job they are doing.
I am glad to say that every Whole Foods store I've visited has been favorable. I've been to one in Beverly Hills, CA, Union, NJ, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Druid Hills, and my closest and probably favorite location in Atlanta on Ponce. The restrooms are clean which is usually a telltale sign of the store's hygienics. The pizza bar makes the best fresh pizza at a great price. I enjoy shopping the perimeter of the store and customer service is amongst the best I have experienced. The employees have always been kind, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, not always in that order. I enjoy shopping and eating at Whole Foods. It's even better with friends. I just wish there was one in or closer to Henry County. *hint*

your fresno, Cal store has the best salad bar and the worst and sarkastic management team.I will not shop there till management is change to a more friendly customer oriented team.sorry aabout that but that is the truth.
Poor rating because Whole Foods still sells GMO products and supports Monsanto and itÕs products.
E-mailed a complaint to the store manager of the whole foods /wheaton,illinois location....he has not bothered to respond...probably too embarassed....was bringing to his attention the fact that the cafe tables in the store are always dirty during the noon hour...thought that someone who works in the store could wipe the tables down every so often.
The WF store in North Wales, PA is pretty good, but unfortunately the space is difficult and it's hard to shop or maneuver around the store. Trader Joe's, across the street, has a much bigger more comfortable space. I hope Corporate is looking for a larger space for the store, like the beautiful WF Market in Cleveland. Also, please more organic and less conventional!
Some of Whole Foods store employees are unfriendly. They act like it's all about them instead of all about the customers! I thought it was ALL about the customers! If it wasn't for the customers they wouldn't have a job!... Would they?! If they want to keep customers coming back and buying their products and expensive food, then they should make sure that EVERYONE who works for them are thinking of helping the customers and PLEASE SMILE! Customers are NOT there for the employees! Employees act like they are NOT there for the customers either! I think the problem is there are too many people working and nothing much to do ... SO... some of them talk to each other and ignore the customers. When they do look at the customers they just talk to each other and keep staring at the customers. The employees were laughing and talking to each other, while we were at the bakery looking at cakes. :( I thought that was so rude. Whole Foods should rotate people and not let them work all the time and then they will be happy when they get to work and be nice to the customers. :) I wish whole foods would please not be so expensive with their food buffet. It's not necessary. They are outrageous! When I get 2 plates of food and weigh it, it all cost about 10 or 15 dollars a box and sometimes it's 20 dollars a box or plate. By the time we get two pieces of cake, a dinner and 2 teas it's 30 to 40 dollars. One day we paid 5 dollars for ONE piece of cake. We don't get that much food. All I can say is Good luck whole foods! Because we've been good customers all this time and are getting tired of the prices. I bet everybody else is too. Every time we walk over to the food bar NOBODY'S there. One or two people. What does that tell you?! Whole Pay Check!
Whole Foods, Corporate Headquarters 601 North Lamar Boulevard Suite 300 Austin, TX 78703 Phone: (512)477-4455 Re: Customer Service, Thousand Oaks Store (and in general) To Whom It May Concern: I’m writing this letter to report to whoever is in charge of the customer service from corporate to regional stores. This is what I posted on the corporate web-site (don’t’ know if it was actually posted, but the web-site is terrible…..it’s not working that well and there’s really no place to make contact about problems): It sounds like the majority of the comments on this corporate web-site are complaints and I have to tell you that I too have had a bad experience at the Whole Foods in Thousand Oaks, CA. When I first started shopping at Whole Foods a few years back, I fell in love with the store. It was my favorite place to go grocery shopping and I would usually get some hot food to go or sit down to eat after shopping. About once a week or so I would bring my two kids and husband and we would sit down and enjoy our meal and our time together. Then about a year ago, something strange started happening. I noticed that the checkers/baggers would start being rude (also, the workers in the Deli-hot food area as well). It seems like they assigned a bagger to go over and guard the counter where the utensils and coffee items where located right before I needed to get some items. Sometimes when I shopped and came there with my family, we would go over and get some spoons and forks to eat with and if I bought a cup of coffee, I would need to get some creme and honey. If I bought food to go, I would go over and get a few forks and spoons to go. It seems like they started treating me like I was some kind of "fork-spoon-creme & honey" thief or something. Then one day, one of the male checkers asked if I was going to be sitting down to eat, and I asked why? And he replied, "I have to charge you a tax for sitting down” which had never happened before. Anytime we sat down to eat, we were never charged previously and we had always cleaned up after ourselves when finished. This bagger that they assigned to "guard" the counter would run over to the area and just stand there......he wasn't there to clean or do anything else....it was really strange. He would try to block the area so that I couldn't go over there. All the times I went into Whole Foods, I would spend a minimum of $100, sometimes over $200. I have spent a lot of money there the past few years. I have the receipts to prove it. Another thing I started noticing was that anytime I walked into the store, they would turn around to look and before I would come to the check-out, you can see them "talking" and having some kind of "joking session" before I came to the checkout – it was so obvious. After this happened, I drastically reduced my shopping at Whole Foods. We also do not sit down and eat there any longer. There are other health food stores that sell food that I like and I can get better service there or at Vons or Albertsons. I became really disappointed with the staff at this Whole Foods store and with the store overall. I even tried to call the manager one day and discuss the situation, but she pretended like I didn't know what I was talking about. I think what Ms. Lee said above was true (it applies at the Thousand Oaks store as well): "....worst customer service I have ever experience, at any of your locations, these employees are arrogant and filled with self pride......They are always talking in the stores and at the register, and most times do not even greet the Customers! It seems as though everyone is so focus on their unique personality and the way they dress. When the Hillboro store first opened everyone was happy and enthusiast, now there is a sense of 'I am better than you for I work for WF". My family member called and filed a complaint against one of the cashiers, and were told by the Lead, in charge of the front line that they have over twenty five hundred customers at that location and they make all of their customers happy! Now I realize where the arrogance is coming from, MANAGEMENT!" That is a very true statement that for some reason, the cashiers/baggers have this attitude and false sense that they are imperialistic and they treat their customers like 2nd class citizens – terrible. Most the employees working at the registers at this store are teenagers or 20 – 30 year olds and they dress like “grunge” and are full of tattoos and look like they are on drugs. I really don’t understand this strategy of service or why Corporate and the managers are allowed to carry on like this. I really hope Whole Foods stock and business goes down after all this treatment they have towards their customers. This business does not deserve any more good fortunes and they need a serious lesson in customer service and management (they should take lessons from Vons or Albertsons). I should’ve been the last customer they treated “badly” because I always courteous before, cleaned-up after myself, usually bagged my own groceries to help out and never complained (was glad to do it) and spent a lot of money there. I would even try to talk nicely with the staff there, but their attitudes got in the way. If someone had a problem with me taking plastic spoons/forks to eat with or sitting down to eat there, they should’ve said something or talked to me about it instead taking on the attitudes and treatment that I got (remember, I tried calling them and talking to the manager about it). I choose to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation from any of the checkers or managers at this store (but I’m sure they will know who I am since they directed this type of behavior towards me + they gossip and probably have “names” or “descriptions” for each of their “favorite” customers).

I go to the one in Paramus, New Jersey. The workers there are really nice. Maybe the store gets a little crowded on Saturdays, but I go in there, get what I need (plus a few other things) and go on my way. I like going in there and seeing the regular faces. You kind of feel like you belong there, especially at the Bakery...it's beautiful.
I tried to call to find out about a product you had in Austin but not in California. Could NOT GET A LIVE PERSON. So can't buy. Your phone system sucks. RNBCOOP@SONIC.NET
I have never had anything but exceptional service at Whole Foods. We are retiring to Spokane.e, Washington this summer and I am already having extreme withdrawal knowing that my closest option is on the West side of the state.
The wholefoods market in Buckhead, georgia is by far the most horrible store I've every shopped in. The team LEADER or CAPTIN or whatever he calls himself has no brains! I got a won a gift card at work and after my purchase I had a balance of .40 (cents). I asked the clerk at CS if I can just cash out the card and she looked at me as if the balance I asked for was 400.00! She seemed nervous and her eyes where shifting all over the place. I told her that she was being unreasonable and to get a manager. The manager didnt even come over, They both just stood across the store pointing and talking about me! When she returned I told her to call mr. owens (team leader of the store). after he told her to go ahead and do it I told her she should be ashamed of herself! I took ever dime of my money and left!!!! Atlanta, Georgia Paces Ferry location treats customers like theives!
I cannot understand these complaints. I have always been treated very well at whole foods. the people working there are great...and the food service is great and I love all their produce. I have shopped at the Naples Florida store since it opened here and before that shopped at the Wheaton and Naperville whole foods stores in Illinois and have never had one complaint. they always give refunds without question are clean and curious.
Raw chicken. The rotisserie chicken I purchased today was raw. I wish I could post the photo. Please be careful as these must not be checked for doneness.
The customer service is really horrible. Whole foods need to start hiring workers that are friendly and helpful. The employees at Whole Foods are generally indifferent and rude. Besides for the horrible customer service that I have frequently encountered at the different Whole Food stores, I like their products.
I shop at the Falls Rd Whole Foods Market in Baltimore, Maryland. I am very sad with the service and the people that have been hired to serve the customers. I have ordered 2 cases of water on several occasions to no avail. Yesterday I wented into the store to inquiry about my order, and the employees were confrontational with me. I spoke with the store manager and he could not get a grocery manager to respond to his call to retake my order. I was reassured by the store manager that some would call me to inform me that the order was taken and when to expect delivery. That never happened! The problem is, the water is never on the shelves. If I want to purchase a case of water from the store, it is never available. The store in Mt. Washington on Falls Rd.,in Baltimore, MD, is going downhill. The prices and quality of the products do not match the service that is given. That place is taking a turn for the worst.
To Whom It May Concern; I am writing you for two reasons. First of all I would like to know why your company decided to discontinue some of your cheeses and replaced them with cheeses of the same name but poorer quality. One example would be the Port Salut which you now sell in a packaged version of lesser quality. I was told by my store in Chicago, IL that this is a national decision - the people at the store are not happy with it. They have had several customers complain and I promised I would attempt to get an email to someone who might have the power to deal with it. Additionally, growing up in Denmark I had access to some wonderful local cheeses which I have never been able to find in the US. I have spoken with the Danish importer of my cheeses and he tells me that he has had no luck in introducing these cheeses to your organization. I would think your organization with it's educated customer would be a perfect outlet for some of these wonderful cheeses. Sincerely, Rikke Vognsen rvognsen@earthlink.net
