not good policy... violates the automatic stay provisions of the bankcruptcy code section 362 (a)(3)... no bussiness to freeze people's money while going to thru BK or tough times... yet, how they expect me to buy food, pay bills and pay rent on time, that put me more problem... this bank just wants to take my money...
Wells Fargo Auto/Finance is a joke and will call you all day long. They even called my place of employment several times a day in which I was written up and I was told that I would lose my job if they continue to call. I have asked them time and time again to stop calling my job, but the calls continue. I have falled behind on hard times but I continue to make a payment each month but I know they can see I am making every effort to get this situation resolved but they have no remorse. I agree, they keep calling, calling, and calling all day long trying to aggrevate you into giving them a payment. When I get home at night, I have had over 7 calls each day from them. Then they start shuffling you around getting their co-worker to call and threatened you saying you have 24 hours to call back or what!!! The game is lame and old!!! They start at 8 am and continue calling until 9 pm at night whether you speak. I will also call my congressman and an attorney to see what our consumer's right are. Maybe someone needs to look at their practices if they are getting so many of the same complaints. But, they don't have to worry about me anymore, because I am looking into getting my automobile refinanced elsewhere and closing all my accounts with them and taking my business and moving on. I will make sure I tell my family and friends to do the same!! This company's customer service is the worst ever!!!
in my ongoing saga with wellsfargo. i didn't like wachovia so much either - hey i never have trusted bankers and banks are banks - I did have hopes that wf would come through for me, but I am beginning to wonder... actually i am mad at them for giving me false hope. they told me all my accounts would have transitioned by jan or feb, now they are saying october. i don't even want to get started on the mortgage situation!!! scary, scary, scary... what are we to do?
Wells Fargo taking over Wachovia has ruined expectations of professional customer service and courtesy. In November, after having checking cleared out on an old, closed Wachovia ICR account, my checking was drained. I called and was informed of a balance and as good gesture, a Mr. Cruise offered a settlement of $125, I explained that I appreciated and told that I had no funds, due to their withdrawl, but could they draft that remaining amound later in December, when I got paid. We verbally agreed. Yesterday, the cleared out my account again for the total amount. Talking with front line, Keith M. and Josh T., supervisor, was a rude, and condescending discussion. They said their was nothing in their notes, that I set up a draft, questioning my word against partial notes and incompetence, by Mr. Cruise, who they say doesn't work in Recovery! They would not even tell, what department he does work. They have sent no correspondences, I have no idea what the account # is now, but I will never take a verbal agreement like I have with Wachovia to settle anything again. I spent 5 hours today in phone purgatory trying to speak with someone that could help, to no avail only to leave a message with the dept manager, not holding my breath. I hate WF, and will move my business elsewhere!
I agree with everyone on this page who has rated Wells Fargo as the worst company to work with when you have a mortgage problem!! Again as other people have stated on this page when you loose a job or have your hours cut...Wells Fargo says they are here to help, what a joke. You call them right away send in the paper work they ask for every week for a month, call them every night to stay in contact like you are told to do!! Wells Fargo passes you from person to person who then asks you the same questions day after day, when you tell Wells Fargo you just answered the same questions yesterday, they say they did not know that and they would have to read the file and that is a waste of time??? To top it all off they still foreclose on your home!!!! They say they work with the government on helping you keep the home you would like to keep??? I wish now we had gone with our Credit Union for a home mortgage when we built this house. To anyone out there who is thinking of using Wells Fargo for anything think again!!! My husband and I have hired an attorney. I have lost my job and my husbands hours have been cut, we did not know that this was going to happen to us!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP WELLS FARGO....BUNCH OF ASS HOLES,HOPE YOUR COMPANY FALLS!!! WORD OF MOUTH GOES A LONG WAY ABOUT A COMPANY!!!! Wells Fargo Financial is the biggest douchebag corporation in the United States Financial Industry. They are not only unprofessional, but they abuse the United States Comptroller of Currency's oversight and guidance every way possible. Being that I am a GOD centered person, I am trying to turn my other cheek but if anyone knows of any CLASS ACTION Suits against Wells Fargo Financial, would you please leave that information on this web site. I personally feel that a company of that size and reputation who abuses its customers in an unethical mannner as I have been dealt, should suffer. I have contacted both the Comptroller of Currency and my congressional representatives, and those of you who have suffered behind their modus operandi of treating customers as though they were dogs, I'd advise you to contact both of these groups as well. My attorney wants to know if there are existing CLASS ACTION suits ongoing, if not we would like to see how many of you would be willing to join this class against WELLS FARGO FINANCIAL. Right they give you no phone numbers for their corporate office as though they can make these decisions independently. Someone must answer for their misconduct and pay damages accordingly! Wells Fargo,My view of them is only that of my own.I had been recently without employement for approximently 5 months and its been nothing but harrassing phone calls one after the other.If you do call them back they dont listen to anything u have to say ,all they know is yes we understand (we need a payment today,can u send a payment today,can u wire a payment today,can u do an online payment today)and this is after you have already told them if you had the money today we wouldnt be haveing this conversation.I have been back to work for two weeks now and made a payment and offered to make payments of $200 a week until all payments where up to date,They refused ,we have to have at least two payments today,Its like they are sitting there reading from a paper,and if you call them back again or answer the phone when they call you go through the same thing every time, If you look up wells fargo most of the stuff u find is bad,according to varios web pages they have closed all branch offices involed in lawsuits of holding payments until the are late so they can tack on late fees and more interest.I did call the number listed (515)243-2131,pressed 1for wellsfargo financial then 7 for human resourses gave them my number and ask that some-one from the corporate office give me a call,a lady called my wife today while she was working and got pretty sarcastic with her and of course my wife got sarcastic back,because we just made a payment within the past seven days and i told them i would try to make one xmas weekend instead of buying any xmas for my girls and they said good,now they are calling wanting it today.I really hate to see people loose thier jobs but at this point i wish that Wells Fargo would fall.If i had a face book account and better with a computer i would have a blog or what ever its called just for people to list all the problems they have had with WELL FARGO,If i were to win the lotto tomorrow i wouldnt buy anything from anyone affiliated with WELLS FARGO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wells Fargo should be sued and this company dissolved. This company is quick to take your money from you and they then give you the runaround when the money taken was an error on their part.
Worst Bank I have ever dealt with. These people violate everything that is called customer service in any industry. I have attempted to executive office and all you get is voice mail. This bank is a complete opposite of the customer service I recieved at Wahcovia prior to the merger. Wells Fargo online bill pay is a joke. They take your money out of your account to pay bills and then sit on the money for anywhere from 3-7 business days before they pay the bill. So they use our money for free for 3-7 days or longer. Unacceptable and dishonest. I am switching banks. These guys get free money from our Government that the US Tax payer pays for and then steals from us. Watch out for these guys. If there were such things as bank robbers in reverse that is what Wells Fargo is to average people, THEIVES.
never go to wells fargo if you have business banking needs the only thing they seem to be able to do is deposits and withdrawals if you need any service like wire transfers, order additional atm cards you will have to make several requests in the branch to get service. If deposits large checks they do not just put the check amount on hold they will lock your entire account so you will have no access to your money for several day. This will include the money you had in your accounts for months. This branch is the worst bank I have ever came into contact with and if you complain be careful they will close your account without warring. BTW they ask me to move my account they came to me.
I was recently charged 15 dollars in fees by wells Fargo becuase their ATM was out of service and I went to the bank next door. I knew the ATM owner would charge a fee and that is understandable but the fact wells Fargo charged me fees on top of the ATM owner is wrong. I called about these fees and was told too bad by the woman in south Dakota and her boss would not take my call and I was told to leave a voicemail and he would call me back. I still have not heard back from him and that was last month. Please do not use this bank they will screw you worst than the other banks do. And to think we the American people had to give them a bailout to keep them from going out of business we should have let them go out of business and let the FDIC pay us back. Screw wells Fargo
I am a Wells Fargo Identity Theft customer for over 5 years and I called your Fraud Department Manager for Southern California because they declined my $50 donation to Sid Roth's It's Supernatural and a couple of times when my wife and I tried to use our ATM to buy a maximum of 10 gallons of gasoline for our Toyota Prius Hybrid tank at COSTCO they disapproved it with some excuses. This Card allows $400 a day cash access a day at Wells Fargo ATM, $2000.00 a day purchase over account balance. ATM Card is also backed by an Equity Smart Line and a Savings Account. Wells Fargo Bank does not want Banking Regulations imposed on them by the U.S. Government but your Fraud wants to impose a $50 regulation on me if they ASSume my ATM Card is stolen without contacting me. I am writing the Government because of this asking for strict Bank Regulations on your Real Estate FIASCO lending practices and not following an Industry Customer Standard for Consumer Affairs as mentioned above.
It's been over a two year battle now with Wells Fargo! My husband lost his job and all of our insurance benefits as well. I contacted Wells Fargo immediately making them aware of our situation and asking for help. I was told by Wells Fargo NO PROBLEM we are here to help you. I thought wow this is really great most everyone else I had contacted explaning our situation was very sorry to hear about my husband losing his job, our daughter become very ill and having emergency surgery and being in Riley's Childrens Hospital but there was nothing they could do to help us. Wells Fargo set us up on a program to meet our finanical needs at that time with the understanding once this program was finished we were to resume back to our normal mortgage payment and tacking on the remaining balance that would be owed to the end of our loan adding approximately 1 - 2 mores years on to our original loan. NOT THE CASE AT ALL. Once the program was completed we sent in our mortgage payment to find out it had been sent back to us and our house was now going to be prepared to go through forclosure process. My husband contacted Wells Fargo immediately asking WHAT THE HELL is going on?? We completed the program and followed the contract as stated. We did this 3 times and followed the program exactly as written even though they were raising our mortgage each time. Soon after completing the 4th program we were told we were no longer eligible and that the foreclosure process had already been started. We were served with foreclosure notice and we want to work with you on saving your home notices on the same day. How is that even possible? My husband filed the necessary paperwork to stop the foreclosure and we were told once again to send in copies of our pay stubs; a hardship letter and a list of our bills and they would work with us. We have done this 5 times and each time we are denied becaue we don't qualify but we are continuously told not to worry that they will work with us but it has been over a year since we have made a payment on our house since they will not accept a payment and we continue to get farther and farther behind. How is it that we don't qualify for any of these programs that are not out there to keep people in their homes. All we want is to keep our home and make our payments. If that means we owe 5, 6, 7 or whatever more years on the loan then that's fine. We are trying to do the right thing but we're not getting anywhere. Wells Fargo has done nothing they said they would do. So much for customer service it SUCKS!! We had some friends there were buying a home and heard great things on Wells Fargo T.V. commercial. They asked us what we thought about Wells Fargo, guess what? You LOST their business. Why would you not want to help someone who is willing and able to make their mortgage payments instead you want to forclose. Great Work Wells Fargo! This is why your company is going down hill beacause you dont know your ass from the hole in the ground.
We have 3 properties with mortgages with Wells Fargo. 2 are upside down. We are still paying, and have not been late. I have business accounts with them, and personal accounts. We have been with them for 23 years. We accidently let our home insurance lapse for 1 month on our primary residence. Wells Fargo charged us $664.00 for one month for insurance. Our normal annual insurance is $1,300.00 per year or $108.00 per month. I spent well over 2 hours being passed around Wells Fargo trying to get this looked at. After all that, they claim that there is nothing that they can do about it, and that those kind of policies are always expensive. I am now moving my accounts away from Wells Fargo, and to another Bank. I will never use them again for any service.

Now that circumstances WELL beyond any control we have put us in a bind due to the economy, my wife’s medical conditions, and her loss of job, over ten people at WELLS FARGO have wasted weeks of my time and effort (half the time not knowing who’s doing what and where to send people internally, losing paperwork, subjecting callers to ENDLESS computer voice prompts- all the time reminding you they will take any measure to collect on debts- NOT TO MENTION OVER 135 PAGES OF FAXES SENT) *and as of today have turned their backs on us for any re- financing! THIS PROCESS TOOK OVER TWO MONTHS!! **They’ve CLEARLY, UNQUESTIONABLY proven customers aren’t really valuable- money is- and the more the better!

My wife and I bought a Prsche for each other and we are not rich by any means. I had a decent relationship with the dealership and they discounted the cars enough to make the deal possible. I financed my wifes and she mine. Recently I was in an accident and the car sustaine a great deal of damage mostly frame as well as having a part put back on the car with a differant #. The car was documented and for a high end car it is no longer worth the paper it is written on. Instead of suing the young man and ruining his life for years to come. I had it appraised and took the lowest appraisal. In Tx you can drive a 400 thousand dollar car and if a preson only has minimum payout you are screwed unless you have uninsured as well as underinsured. Also learned my lesson about medical coverage. You mention car wreck they will not take your insurance. The guy hit me so hard it broke me seat belt and knocked me unconscious. whil only having 25 k worth of prperty damage. My origional contract was with wachovia which was bought out. We have never been late on a payment and allways paid more to get the principal down. Now Allstate which I think of as the bottom of the ins companies out there is will ing to pat the tiny amount left over from the 25k and Wells Fargo has laid clam to my misfortune. The kicker is I did not start out with them in the 1st place. I use credit unions and upon calling all 3 I use was told there is no reason for Wells Fargo to lay claim since for one we are still under the watchovia terms whether are not they bought tham out are not. But the fact that we have perfect payment history and only 1 time did we have a problem but it was on the banks end and had nothing to do with us. Being disabled and living from check to check is bad enough being still somewhat young and not being able to work for a living is hard enough on me as a man. But to have a financial institution step in and capitalize on my misfortune is out of this world. I spent the first 2 months after the accident on my back. And having my body torn up in the military and having grown use to living with what I have only to have my life rearrangeg by someone who was totally at fault is bad enough. But when I found out what Wells Fargo intended to do it incensed me. And getting a name was almost impossible but I did and she was and account manager. now I am stuck with the option of suing the young man and hurting him as well as his family and going to the media for what Wells Fargo intands to do. And what really gets my goat is I was told it is what is best for me like I am a child. It is not a lot of money and I am stuck with a car I will eat if I ever try trading it in or selling it but the very fact an organization I did not even start out with and by the way I begged my wife to go through a credit union is the fact that wells Fargo intands on captilalizing on my misery. I might could understand if we were not living up to our end of the contract and had a bad payment history. But now I am in a position ethicly I do not wish blogging getting the news media involved and and attorney. I have another option but I think it will be my last resort and was told by my credit union I would not suffer on there end. we are on processing BK chapter 7 didnt know that they freeze our checking accounts, money market, my daughter and i savings accounts which is for her college education. When I contacted the bank, its Wachovia (wells fargo) policy whenever you filing chapter 7, and of course they never notify or warned me or my husband. Now, we have no access at all to our money just wait what our attorney can do about it and hopefully trustee fund can release our money ASAP at same day... got no money at all buy food,gas,medicine,cash,rent,utility bills...
