Wawa Corporate Office I was just recently in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for a baseball tournament. We would generally stop by the Wawa, Store #849 to get coffee. On July 15th. I stopped in to get a coffee, and when I went to pour out the French Vanilla creamer, the carton had not been opened and the plug or tab had not been removed. I asked the lady who worked at the coffe section if she could take care of it and she said that she would not, that wasn't her job and if I wanted it I had to do it myself. OK, that was good customer service, and I asked her why. She stated to me that it was because of health issues and if I wanted it I would have to take it out. She then said that if I had a problem with it to talk to the Manager so I approached him. The Manager said to me that that was correct and if I wanted it that I had to remove it. I would like to ask some questions: 1. Is that good customer relations? 2. You are telling me that the gloves that they wear to make a sub can not be used to open up a creamer carton? 3. You are telling me that Wawa would sooner have someone who has lord knows what on their hands put their fingers on a carton opening where others will use the same carton? 4. Is that Wawa corporate procedure? I typically go to Royal Farms, and every and any time this happens, they immediately go to the counter get out the disposable gloves and open the container for the customer. Maybe Wawa Store #849 should have the Rehoboth beach and State of Delaware Health Department made aware of this. Customer service and Customer Health should certainly be the #1 and #2 priority of any store. I will no longer go to this location, and will try and avoid having to go to a Wawa simply because of that simple little incident. God forbid I told them they were out of toilet paper in the bathroom. Richard Astle 410-658-2018
I worked for the company for 6 years ran two shifts a day did 72 hour work weeks and kept the store running. To get fired buy a power hungry DM who at the time just started at the position and now has been DM for years. Not sure how that works because he was bad at his job then and i was told he still pretty bad at it now.I was fired for telling a drunk irate women that she had to leave the store in a not so nice manner, but that is what it came to. the only reason I am writing this is that i was unjustly fired for one reason she was the DM friend of the family that's the only reason. He fired me plan while i was on shift. The next day i went back to pick up somethings and the had hired SEVEN people to replace me........
I am so happy that you opened a new store in Orlando, Florida. When are you going to open a store or two at The Villages, in Florida?? Also, it would be nice if you would sell Turkey Hill ice tea in your store. We are from Lancaster, PA, and we live at The Villages now and --- we miss Wawa and Turkey Hill ice tea!!!!
The Wawa at Lindenwold NJ does not give the gas attendants breaks on 90-100 degree days they only have 2 people working. This is unfair and very unhealthy conditions the manager does not seem to care. Do Something before you have a real problem
I was in your store on Germantown Ave in the Mt. Airy (19119) section of Philadelphia. First of all the parking lot is way to small and I am surprised there isn't an accident in it every day. Second the deli/food service workers are incapable of keeping up with the orders or even counting. Three out of the last four tome I have been there my order was completely passed by and they just seem to do whatever order seems easiest or the ones the workers friends order. Today was especially bad I ordered a frozen cappuchino at 7:16 my number was 652. After waiting 20 minutes they were long past my number, somewhere in the 680's and had served only one other drink order whoa number was in the 680's that was when I took my slip. back to the cashier (there was 2 cashiers and no line) and asked for a refund. How hard is it to find people who know how to count, read and make sandwiches?
Re: Fuel prices Ocean County, NJ Week before July 4 the price of Crude went up 9 cents. Next day you raised fuel 7 cents a gallon. Week of July 4 the price of crude dropped 5 cents and you have not lowered your pices. They are selling fuel on the Garden State Pkwy. lower than you are. For the past 9 months you hve been ripping off the resedints of Ocean County, NJ. rnane@yaoo.com Former Customer of WaWa
This is to formally complain about Wawa store #358, Larchmont Blvd. I was a kid when this wawa was built and have been patronizing this establishment since it came into existence. Only recently has it become such a dump with incompetent workers responsible for food preparation. No one knows how to make anything there. The last two times I tried to buy a beef quesadilla, it was so poorly made the entire contents spilled out when I attempted to eat it. No point in trying to get another one or go to that wawa ever again. It seems as if the entire wawa staff at 358 is completely incompetent at their job. Hopefully someone will check out the situation and teach these people how to make the items on the menu because these people do not know how to create any type of edible sandwich.
I have applied several times at Wawa and never even got to the interview process and then got a letter from corporate telling me not to apply anymore. All of you people saying people get a free ride on the government should apply to Wawa and ask them why would they do this type of discrimination. I rarely go to Wawa for this reason.
How dare your employees question Mr. Stark's disabilities. I guess Wawa is full of doctors now. It's good to know that only external disabilities count for something in your organization. Your callousness will not be shielded by the Board of Health. Your employees has absolutely no right to look at a person and say "there's nothing wrong with you, do you must not have a disability." I guess Wawa would rather Mr. Stark have a seizure on their floor. Even then your employees would probably just tell him to stop faking. Rest assured that I will never spend a dollar at a Wawa.
i was working at wawa for 3 years. there was a racist manager always making racial slurs and putting down other employees. i went to my gm several times about her and he never did anything becuse they were friends. i started to get fed up and i was gonna call hr about it but then the gm started saying what great friends he was with the people in hr and that calling hr on a gm or any other manager would be a great way to get fired n he also said that if his employees called hr the people who worked in hr would definitly give him the names of the employees who called. another associate said to call off the clock as a customer and report it that way. she said she had done this several times before and problems then were taken care of, so i did it. a couple weeks later i was called into the office and fired because my manager said he heard a recording of the complaint n recognized my voice. i tried to fight n get my job back but the gm was right, he had tooo many friends working in hr. i heard from other employees that the woman who told me to call as a customer told the gm what i did and following my termination they went out with a couple of other workers from that store and got drunk and was talking about how they got me. wawa used to be a good company but now they are so corrupt they take and take from their employees and then they screw them over. i have never worked for a more corrupt company in my life.
The Wawa stores in Virginia are a bit out of control Store 671 right off rosemont rds Is usually really dirty the management is very incompetent there is a store manager by the name of Lala that is very unprofessional I like the concept @ wawa but the management needs to be selected better when you go into this particular store It looks like a war zone customers treating associates like crap and management so incompentent to maintain a hostile work environment do not know how to handle situations no profesionalism what so ever and really uncordinated managers screaming like that Lala I dont understand how this company doesnt come around often to overlook their operation how is handle by this so called managers, You can see it as you walk in the door very very poor service this store is located by a ghetto customers walk in stealing all the time and the reason why I am taking the time to sit down and write this is because I witnessed how a customer went behind the deli and wanted to assault an associate for no reason I witnessed the whole thing but management doesnt step in and takes control of the situation
My wife and I frequent the Absecon WaWa on New Jersey ave. It is not the easiest WaWa for us to go to however, over the years we have been going there because one of the employees Kenny Davis makes our day and everybody elses day that goes there. He just got fired over what I call nothing. He has been there 12 years. The manager there is a jerk. We are planning a picket but, I want to give you a chance to investigate.
I got called out by a customer who was young enough to be carded, didnt have their ID and made a big fuss about it in front of other customers. The way this person talked to me, about me and cursed AT me downright pisses me off. Call me whatever you want but at least I have a fucking job, teeth, a car, drivers license and money.. Fuck you miserable, unemployed asshole. Get a fucking job, get a fucking license, make money so you can get some teeth in your mouth to replace the ones that rotted out because you smoke 10 packs of ciggerrates a day with money you get from my paycheck that the state pays your lazy ass for being unemployed and on welfare.
The above rating is for one particular "team member" at Store #274 (Pottsville Pike in Reading, PA.) Gail, if you don't like your job, then quit!!!! Acting like a B**tch to certain customers is not very professional!!! When you are cashier, YOU BAG THE ITEMS FOR THE CUSTOMER, not throw the bag at the customer, and when you are asked to bag the items,(which is YOUR responsibilty) you don't toss the food into the bag. My suggestion is for you to take a customer service seminar or training class and learn your job responsibilities!!!!!
The fresh food manager at wawa 230 has a really nasty attitude with customers and employees it's just sad that nobody cares and these people have to work like that
Store 460 in Palmyra has new management..that's great! But the new agm is so stuck on his position that he lacks the customer service! All the employees are shocked at his actions, they include during morning rush when he needs to help he instead sweeps the lot,or during lunch rush he orders a sandwich also! & then sits in the office to eat rather than help get customers on there way! Or I watched him today hand his keys to the safe over to a customer service associate! REALLY??? Us this what Wawa is representing?
My complaint(s) are about store 4231 in Turnersville NJ. First, avoid going there very early in the morning (5-6 am). The woman who works that shift is MISERABLE. She's always complaining about her job and apparently always sick because she's ALWAYS coughing all over everything and everybody. 2nd, my wife (who is clearly older than 25) couldn't find her current ID but had her expired ID and not only would the sales associate not sell her cigarettes but was extremely rude. Ok, the law is the law and I get that but there is no excuse for rude customer service. Now I'm 40 and had my ID but the associate wouldn't sell me my brand or her's. What gives Wawa or this guy the right to refuse to sell me a product that I am CLEARLY LEGALLY entitled to buy by law? No problem, we just went right down the road and gave another store our business. Get your sh#t together Wawa and hire some pleasant employees with good work ethic and half of a brain.
So fed up with wawa on Rt 70 and Massachusetts in toms river, NJ. Can never find a gas attended when I arrive to pump. I get up early in the morning and commute to work each day. Its not my gas station of choice but stop there because prices are cheaper. They usually have the same attended at that time of morning. Every single time I get there he is inside bull shiting where he should be outside waiting on cars. Im not the only customer that's had this problem. It's to the point where you have to leave your car and walk inside store to get him. I'm so done with this place and I'm sure there will be more people to follow
WaWa 2845 north Rolling road, customer service is poor. There are some cashiers that Are customer service oriented, but there are some that have no Personality at all and poor decision making
I purchased a coffee in Philadelphia @Ridge ave store ...needless to say by the time I got to enjoy it...there was debris in it!!! The taste was old and bitter which tells us they did not bother to make new coffee for the morning shift...I used to go out of my way to get coffee at WaWa...yet, this is the 4th time I've had poor customer service and coffee I believe could make me sick...Please fix this problem!!!
