Wal-Mart- Marrero, LA Store# 0911 What is wrong with Wal-Mart? Where do I start? I purchased 6 tires from Wal-Mart. One of my tires needed repair. I brought my tire to your store for repair and was given one story after another on why they could not repair my tire. The tire was no longer available/stock. I was told I would have to pay the difference in the tire because you no longer carry my tire. Why is this my fault? What is the purpose of purchasing a road hazard waranty. Your employees gave me the impression that you were giving me something that I already had paid for. The manager argued with me that this is only tire they carry etc. I often have my vehicle serviced and have been told on several occasions with a disrespectful attitude that no more oil changes today and it was only 11:30 in the morning. The excuse I was given was that you do not have the personnel to take care of the services etc. What has happened to your customer service? The employees do not seem to care. They are only there to make a pay check. Majority of your cashiers do not even pay attention to the customer they are more concerned about texting on their cell phones, eating at the register or talking to other employees while checking your items out. One thing that I can say is that at least your stockers are trying to keep up with the public demand. I suggest that you have a customer service training and re-training include your managers at the TIRE DEPARTMENT.
I don't know what has happened to Wal-Mart since Sam Walton passed away but I can assure you that what is taking place in his stores would not be happening if he were still alive. He would be appauled. My husband and I were in the Wal-Mart in McCain Blvd in NLR, AR. As we were checking out, I asked the cashier if she would give me change for a $20.00 bill. She told me she couldn't, that I would have to see a CSM. She said management had just had a big meeting with the cashiers and they were told not to make change for customers. Give me a break! What happened to Customer Service? While I realized Wal-Mart has rules to follow, what about the customers? There wasn't a CSM to be found and I had completed my shopping and was ready to leave. This was a delay forme. You've taken the layaway program away, a program that many customers used and depended on, especially at Christmas, and several other things, and now the Customer Service SUCKS! Let's get it together the way Mr. Walton put it together. Wal-Mart is going to run Wal-Mart out of businss. I am very upset because of the way Wal-Mart treats their employees and their customers.
i visited Walmart on Nov 22nd to do a little shopping before the mad rush on friday, I picked up a zhu zhu princess palace for my little grand daughter for xmas along with some other items. When I got to the check out the princess palace wouldn't scan, the cashier said it may be a recalled item, I told her that if thats the case there were many more back there. She looked it up and said they had mistakenly put them out there and that they were a black friday item and it couldn't be scanned. I asked to speack to a Manager and got Don the Assistant Manager who told me the same thing, I in turn said it was Walmarts mistakes for putting the item out and marked for sale and should honor it, but Don would do nothing to help,I told him I then would like him to hold the item for me until sunday which was the first day I would be able to return to the store to pick it up I wasn't happy with this but felt it would have been a compromise non the less. But He wouldn't even do that. He said it company policy not to hold items for customers. So I asked Don for his full name which he would not give me,when I asked why he said he didn't have to because that was company policy as well that a Manager didn't have to give his full name. So I asked to speak to the Manager who gave me the same song and dance about saying that it won't scan it was a mistake to put the item out and that he couldn't hold the item for me, and then and said what else could I do to help you. I said what do you mean what else could you do you haven't done any thing for me. You should honor the sale being it was Walmarts mistake were talking a 15 dollar toy here for crying out loud and I would like to but it. Its been my experience in the past and there have not been that many but when the company makes the mistake they honor it. They treat there customers very badly and I have written a letter to them as well, with no responce...Shocking. But this much I can say for sure I will never never shop at Walmart again I certainly don't mind paying a little more a getting better customer service and aside from toys there stuff is JUNK.
Oh and by the way this Walmart was in Fayetteville Georgia at the Pavillion
I am in Springdale, AR, just south of the home office of Wal-Mart and was very proud to be one of the first customers at the first Wal-Mart store which was in Rogers, AR. Wal-Mart is now helping to fight hunger in America. Isn't that wonderful? But my question is this, do they give food to the hungry through food banks, which is then kept too long in the food banks, until it's spoiled... or do they just take their old and rotted food and dump it at the food banks in our area, and then take the amount for a tax deduction for giving to charity? It's two days before Thanksgiving. I am a disabled elderly lady who has become needy because of our economy and no increases in Social Security. I haven't had a turkey or ham for Thanksgiving or any holiday in two years. Actually I can now rarely afford meat. I saw on the news on TV that I could go to the NW Arkansas food bank and get help. Cargill had donated thousands of turkeys for the needy. So I swallowed my pride and went today, the day they were giving it out. I received two very large boxes of food... almost all with packaging from Wal-Mart. Included were 10 loaves of bread, all past "use by" date of at least a week. Two pies, old and past date. Bananas so black and rotted that mush was all over the bottom of the box and running out. Same with the grapes which were rotted and molded. There were five packages of salad mix which I've only found at Wal-Mart, and they were all wilted and rotten. I can't say where the two soups came from but they were three years past due date. There was some ground coffee... in a sandwich bag. Some cooked sausage also in a sandwich bag, and it smelled bad. Soft tortilla shells that said use by March ---. So out of two huge boxes of food I will be able to use the turkey ... from Cargill. Thank you for helping feed America and the hungry. This really makes Wal-Mart look bad. Some of our people are needy and going hungry but it's just not right to give us spoiled and rotted food. Happy Thanksgiving Wal-Mart. Because of what you gave to our local food bank, (your outdated and spoiled food) I'll have a nice holiday. God bless you because I know it was done with good intentions, but I wanted you to know what you're giving to the needy and hungry.
i work at walmart 1400 in athens ga and they treat the employees like trash they always are notified when corporate is coming and thats when they get there act together what you should do is not notifiy them u are coming just come.. plus you should really take a w2nd look at who u have running they place and managing it
hi my name is cathy and live in las vegas nv i love shopping at the 5070 ( fort apache ) store in las vegas nv. but recently i have noticed a new loss prevention man by the name of drew . they usually stop you at the end to check your reciept to see if everything was purchased. the first incident was last week i was walking out with a cst in front of me with large items underneath the basket he had a red toddler 3 wheel bike a lamp and some wii item under his cart .. i had one small bag that had pre cut lettuce and hamburger meat. he can up to me instead of the plp in front of me and asked for my reciept. no problem gave it did not think nothing of it. But then i came back again yesturday and again. this time the alarm went on before i came up to him by the mcdonalds area waiting for my kids. then instead of stopping the person in front of me who made the alarm go off he stops me. i told him hey the alarm went off when the teenagers in front of me walked out not me. and he tells me its my job to check. i come in here almost every week now i choose to go the neighborhood wal mart which is farther from my house jst to avoid the harassment that i feel that i get from DREW.
This is a copy of an email to Walmart that I just sent them: I am trying to resolve a problem I am having with Walmart.com and have not been able to do so through their normal customer service channels. I hope, since Walmart owns and operates Walmart.com, that maybe someone at corporate can help me resolve my problem. I have ordered a product (4W replacement bulb for stinger bug killer #MA06, pack of 4) a total of six times. The first time I ordered the bulbs, I ordered (5) packs of four for a total of twenty (20) bulbs. I received five single bulbs. The order was a site to store order so the order was canceled at the store. I have since not been able to get the number of bulbs I tried to order in my original order due to available quantity and orders being filled wrong (single bulbs instead of packs of four). So out of six orders so far, I have only been able to acquire three packs of four in two orders while four orders have had to be canceled due to being filled incorrectly. Whenever I call Customer service I am told the issue has been resolved and it will not happen again. Then it does. I have made SIX trips to Walmart to pick up and cancel four orders. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I need someone to put an end to the lying and deception the customer service department seems to be so fond of and get something done so I can get my order completed. My last three orders have been for three packs of four bulbs and every time I get three single bulbs. I don't know how much it costs Walmart to fill an order, ship it, have it canceled, shipped back, filled again, shipped, canceled, shipped back, filled again, shipped, canceled, shipped back, starting to get the picture???? Not to mention my time, gas, frustration, fifteen (or more) phone calls to customer service because they do not call me when they say they will, and my time typing messages on here trying to get someone to listen who really does care about a customer, and who is farther up the ladder than the people I get on the phone who will not forward me to a supervisor. Maybe this is just another wasted email but I hope it gets through to someone in upper management. PLEASE HELP me get this fixed. I am getting tired of dealing with Walmart regardless of their prices. It's just not worth it anymore. I went to Target last week for the first time in a while and it was very clean and the prices were very close to Walmarts prices. They might not have as large of a selection of stuff but they usually have what I need. I never buy food at Walmart anyway.
I purchased a teevee for my 3 year old great granddaughter in April...19" led/hd. This was a $300.00 purchase including tax. The brand name is Emerson (I have a good many products by Emerson and also I have purchased Wal-Mart items many times. This has become so frustrating for me. The teevee was placed on my granddaughters wall and she loved it. It just QUIT one day and died. I called the store to see what could be done because it(teevee) was only seven months old...the store informed me they only had a ninty day guarentee on the teevee, they could do nothing about the teevee. I felt this was not acceptable. I asked the store where the corporate office was located...they did not know. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager just gave me the ninty day saying and offered me no information. I finally discovered I could contact a place called www.sunaiservice .com and they told me I had one year warrenty on the teevee. I needed a receipt before I could complete the transaction. The person that looks up the receipts kept putting me on hold and one time just cut me off.I have a very good credit with your store, the receipt was available to me yesterday and today they have just decided not to give me the receipt. I am eighty one years old and looking at hip surgery next month...I am on a fixed income and the $300 was an expensive gift to my great grandchild...I am so disgusted to learn of all the frustrating things I have to go through to get the information I need. FYI, this is the third teevee I have purchased from your store. Best Buy is looking very good to me at this time because they STAND BEHIND THEIR PURCHASES. The economy is such today I don't know how you can have people that have no regard for any of your products. I work at a hospital (in communications) if I had as little information for the codes and PBX I would be shown the door very fast. I purchased this teevee on my credit card (Fry road), there is a listing of the purchase...yes I have misplaced my receipt. The teevee is paid for and was purchased in April of 2010. Thank you for your support in this if given. Sincerely Valerie Lee Clark
I was just in at Wal-Mart (#3271) of Calera, Alabama. I had all the items that I wished to purchase, except for some juice. As I approached the back of the store, I suddenly found myself sliding across the floor and onto my knees. There was a huge spill of apple cider. ONE employee was attempting to clean up the mess. She calls for the manager, when another employee comes over with a little radio and a pack of marlboros hanging out his front pocket. He was extremely rude, didn't ask if I was ok or anything. So the manager finally arrives about 15 minutes later. Didn't even have a report in hand! So he has to leave the scene to go search for another 15 minutes for a report. Is this what we call customer service? What if I had been hurt badly? After I filled out the report, he said "well be a little more careful next time!" Seriously? You have ONE challenged worker who can barely get around herself trying to clean up some huge spill? I'll never shop at Wal-Mart again!!

(NO STAR) from me. I am writing this complaint on the behalf of many others that shop at the Colerain and Ronald Reagan Hwy. store here in Cincinnati, Ohio in hopes that something can be done about the way this store is overlooked by management. The lines are long with 30 registers that could be open and are not and management just looks at customers as if they don't care that the people who shop at this store are unhappy. I have seen so many others besides myself who actually just leave the cart sit and walk out. I stood in line for 45 minutes this evening which is way way way too long for anyone to have and wait. I know that times are tuff and there are a lot of cut backs going on, but this situation is going to cause even more cut backs by people not shopping this store anymore. I know I will not waste my time in line at this store anymore. TOTALLY uncalled for, and many others feel the same way. Management from higher up really needs to take a look at this location. One of many unsatisfied customers. This Wal-Mart and all others were not built on this type of management. Store # 1521 Date shopped: 11/18/2010 Time: 17:08:34
I have just had an episode with store #4281- their paint computer has been down for 5 days now and no-one can get paint mixed. I have been calling every day to ask if their computer has been fixed. I have worked at this store and did have to take care of the telephones a couple of times and I know that when the phone to a certain department isn't answered in a short time the line rings back to the main line. I was just on hold for 40 minutes and I feel this is totally uncalled for- no response from any one. The person that answered the phone is named Sharon as I did call on my cell phone and merely asked for her name and it was the same person. There has not been any one taking care of hardware. Are they trying to cut down on salaries to get their bigger bonus at the end of the year? This in very inappropriate for the customers!!!!!

I am so terribly disappointed that Walmart has chosen to be open on Thanksgiving Day. There are 2 days during the year that should be designated as "family time", Thanksgiving and Christmas. In some families this is the only time they get to spend time with each other. My daughter is a manager with the company and will not be able to enjoy being with her family because of this decision. Her grandparents are both in their 90's and not in good health. This will probably be the last Thanksgiving we will all be together. It breaks my heart that you are so selfish and feel a need to make more $$'s to add to your already Billions of $$'s in profit that you can't allow not only her, but all your employees to enjoy this day with their families. My guess is none of the Walton clan will be working, right? I am going to tell everyone on my email list to "blacklist" your store on 11/25. I am going to request that they in turn forward this request to everyone on their email list. I'm not sure how much this will affect you, but at least I will know that I have expressed my disappointment in you as a company and hopefully others will do the same. Shame on you Walmart!
Why do u have all those handicap spaces and hardly any scooters .disabled people have a constant income of which is spent at all walmarts . If I thought a lawyer could change this I would rally a petition at every store . Most are broke down .my god it's a few wires and a dang battery. The greeters are rude about it to. They say corporate won't listen to them we have to complain . You no some little ole man in every town could service them weekly or be on call . Shoot I'm a woman I'd do it for free.come on Walmart we need more riders!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't spend my disability if I can't get into the store. My main gripe is weatherford tx n Hudson oaks tx. Please come on guys
HELLO, I just got a call from a company named Oasis Travel and they said that WAL-MART gives them all their customers credit card numbers that are used at all their stores all over the country. I don't know if this is true or not but if Walmart does this then I will take legal action. This is a violation of customers privacy. They were wanting me to give them my card number to verify....HELL no!!! I will never give my card to anyone for any reason....wow, I am amazed.
Just experienced a frightening encounter with a Wilton, NY WalMart employee. Upon trying to pull out of the parking lot, I was blocked in by a "cart retriever" parking lot attendant. When I asked him to please move so I could get out of the spot I was in, he said that I shouldn't have parked "so dumb" in the first place! He claimed that I was parking too close to the cart corral and that I should have realized that when I parked in the space to begin with that I was over the line. I said I didn't realize that it was a problem, since the corrals were always shifting around. He then proceeded to continue to block me in when I said I would contact the manager. I finally was able to get out but was afraid to go back in the store to complain to the manager since I would have to leave my car unattended. Is this how a good customer is treated? I estimate that I spend thousands a year at the local WalMart. I am now afraid to shop there for fear of retribution from this disgruntled employee. How does someone like this keep a job when the economy is supposed to be so terrible?
I recieved one of the you have won or are eligible for a $iooo gift card. I had to give my information. I was having to feel out serveys, pick from list of things I don't want or need, and could not ewit the page. Why in the world do this to people that are on trying to play games or looking up things on the internet. You people are so stupid. In my opion it is cruel and makes people hate walmart. When you took layaway out of the stores was stupid for rule areas and people on a limited income. Back to the gift card page. It is so irretating to be in the middle of a game and this pops up. Then can't even navigate away from the page no matter what you do. If we want a gift card we would go to the store and buy one ont have to go through all of the bull you do just to say no to the page that pops up. It doesn't matter where you are on the internet. You need to put a stop of this it is not only annoying but makes you not want to go to any of your srores.
I am very dissapointed in Wal Mart. My husband went there today to shop, was in the store for about a half an hour. When he came out he discovered somone had broke into the back of his truck and stole $1600 of his work equipment. He made a police report, and asked the manager of Wal Mart if they could pull the surveillance tape of the parking lot to see if they could see who had done this, and they said he would have to come back Monday. We all know the tape will be recorded over by then. This disgusts me, of the theif and of Wal Mart.
