I have been shopping at Walmart for years, but I have decided that I may have to stop. Recently I was in the Walmart on Coulter in Amarillo Texas shopping in the grocery section. There were three employees working back by the eggs, butter, etc. They were of a foreign ethnic race and speaking to one another in their native language and ignoring all of the many customers moving about around them. This is very rude and I approached a store manager and asked him why his employees did not speak English in front of customers. He said there was no policy on speaking english and could not say anything to them. This is the United States of American and english should be spoken here. I do not have a problem with people coming to our country legally to better themselves. But they need to show respect for the opportunity and learn to speak english. Also in all WalMart stores I have shopped at if you want help with anything you are better off to ask a customer than an employee. Most of them I have encountered could care less about helping you, the people who are the most friendly and helpful are your greeters at the door. Also why can't you have a policy that gives management the power to ask people to leave the store if they are so disrespectful that they allow their children to just run wild and if they knock something off a counter they just leave it or run over it with their cart. If something does not change in this country we will no longer have a country. we will be like many third world countries.
i was called about a $200.00 gift card and billed $4.95 to have it sent to me.they billed my account but i still have not recived any gift card from wal-mart.they even gave me confermation #..what the heck is going on....was thinking about calling the local new and tell them about this....i was looking forward to thid gift card..for my kids for chirstmas..im a single mother of two...want something done have all the info i need to go to local news thank you jennifer my cell # 678-789-4528 thank you for ur time...
I recently bought a camera at walmart for my wifes birthday. We charged the camera once, and when we charged it the second time to use for Christmas, it did't charge. I went to Walmart to see about an exchange. While I was talking to the employee at the photo center, she rolled her eyes at me. I was so taken back that I even asked her if she was rolling her eyes at me, or maybe I just misunderstood her. She infact confirmed that she was rolling her eyes at me. I have bought many high dollar items at walmart only later to have to turn to the manufacturer to replace it. This was a last straw for me.... I will never shop at walmart again. The convienience of having everything in one place does not outway the quality that I can find at other stores. Your lose walmart, as I spend several hundred to a thousand dollars per month in your store. I will now be taking my business else where.
WALMART sent us a broken TV and they aren't answering their calls on Christmas, thanks for FUCKING up our Christmas FUCKMART!!!!!!!!!!!!
don't know if anybody can do anything about this or if anyone even cares but here it goes! I have a friend who suffers from cerebal palsey and has severe deformity of her hands but is able to use the Ipad. I took her to a Best Buy store to find out. It is the only thing we can figure out to give her some independence, she is a very smart kind young woman but has to have help with everything from eating,dressing to even writting a simple love note to her boyfriend via e-mail. If she could get a Ipad it would mean the world to her but the only problem is we are all too poor. We all live off Disability income and that is not much. I am a handicap individual who recently underwent spinal surgery and requires the use of a back brace and cane in order to walk. So I went to this Walmart Store #1960 and proceeded with the use of an electric shoping cart, and gathering my merchandise proceeded to the check out counter. The cashier was very helpful and cheerful. As I headed for the door to exit to my vehicle parked in a handicap space and store employee sitting at the door entrance informed me in a rather rude manner that store policy prevented the use of these electric carts from transporting merchanise to a vehicle. I immediately protested citing my condition of which he replied that if I was able to walk into the store, I could walk out of the store as well. My response was that I walked into the store empty of any merchandise and leaving the store had a cart full of merchanise. He began placing my merchandise into a regular shoping cart and told me to push it to my car! I asked for the store manager and he seemed very indifferent about the whole affair. So I had to make two trips pushing a cart of which I am not supposed to do since the merchandise was paid for. I will seek legal advice. I still cannot believe that this has happened. What is the sense of having electric carts if handicap persons cannot use them to get merchandise to their vehicles.
I'm writing regarding the WalMart on Rosedale Hwy in Bakersfield, CA. I drink the Sam's Club Diet Cola and I'm perfectly fine with it. In fact, I prefer it.. BUT this stupid WalMart cannot seem to keep it in stock. They keep everything else in stock, but the shelf is always empty, or nearly empty of the 2 liter bottles of this product. They have to KNOW that they sell out on this product every day, so why then do they not order more/enough from the distribution center to keep the shelf stocked??? I am frustrated enough at this point to acquire a taste for another brand so that I do not have to deal with the frustration of their inventory control failure any longer!!!
I HAD PURCHASED A TV FROM WAL-MART WHEN I GOT HOME THEIR WAS ONLY 3 SCREWS IN THE PLASTIC BAG TO MOUNT THE TV ON THE BASE WHEN I CALLED THEY TOLD ME TO BRING THE TV BACK I HAD TO TAKE THE TV DOWNSTAIRS AND I AM A SENIOR THEY TOLD ME I HAD 30 MINUTE TO RETURN THE TV I EXPLAIN I DIDN'T LIVE AROUND THE CORNER AND I WAS ONLY ASKING FOR THEM TO HOLD ANOTHER TV FOR ME AND OH HERE THE KICKER THIS IS WHEN IT WAS RAINING HARD IN CALIFORNIA I WAS SO UPSET I CALLED CORP I'M WAITING FOR THEIR CALL I GUESS I WON'T BE BUYING ANY MORE TV FROM WAL-MART IN LAKEWOOD CALIF. 12/21/2010 A Walmart greeter PinellasPark, Florida battered a child who was playing with their own DS on the way out the door. When did the rules for going hands on with anyone, let alone a minor change. I worked store security and unless you were 100% positive there was a theft you do not touch. I called corporate office "Devon" and they confirmed that they are not suppose to touch you, then he quickly said "I didn't say that". Police are being notified, watch the news for a further update.
BLACK FRIDAY BUYERS BEWARE OF WALMART: My mom purchased an Emerson 40inch TV set on black Friday. Yesterday the picture turned black and she can only hear the sound on the TV. She called the store in Ocala Florida on Easy Street and she had this very rude person tell her they did not have any more Emerson TV and she would have to purchase one at a higher price. My mom is on disability and she saved weeks for just this one which she had to buy on a black Friday sale. She contacted Emerson and they told her they send extra TV's so that if there is a customer that has a problem with a TV they can exchange it. Turns out Walmart sold "all" the Emerson TV's offered on black Friday. I am very upset at the way Walmart has handled this !! They have done a bait and switch, now the only way she can get a 40inch TV is to pay more due to the fact that the TV was purchased on a black Friday Sale. I think this it not good business practice for Walmart. As I was writing this website I received a call from Todd from Walmart he told me that the best he could do is to give my mom another TV set that he would discount $100 off but she would still have to pay $80. I am very upset and I think that a Muli-billion dollar store like Walmart can't do without $80 !! She is not asking for another TV brand, she wants the same one, but they don't have it since it was a Black Friday Event Merchandise. Walmart does not know how to handle customers ! It is not her fault the TV is defective nor is it her fault that Walmart does not carry that model !! Moral of this story is be very careful when you purchase anything expensive in Walmart on Black Friday Sale. You may end up paying more since they will not honor the price if they don't carry it after black Friday.
I went to the walmart in Galena Il to buy some NfL Dallas cowboy fleese material. Mind you i had it in my hand and was gonna buy it and one of the managers came back and said a lady just called and she wanted us to hold it back. That she was gonna come and pick it up. I was told there was no layaway so how come since i had the material in hand i wasnt able to buy it.
Wondering Job Seeker, Overall, I have had great experiences with Wal-mart wherever I shopped. Recently, while looking for employment I applied at Wal-mart, being unemployed is difficult and the labor market gives a lot of choices for companies to choose who they would like to hire. Wal-marts interview process is extensive and unsettling for those of us who have a difficult time interviewing, one definately needs confidence to apply even for an hourly position at Wal-mart. Well, I made it past the interview process, I don't do interviews well, however I have been gaining a pretty impressive education that would qualify me for a management position and was offered a sales accociate position, Okay, so start at the bottom I am very okay with that. However, I went to the U/A of course passed but my criminal background had a petty theft from five years ago, result not hired! Let me see if I got this right, They do their hiring based on a decision of competitive/non competetive criteria, that petty theft charge made me non competitive. I may be wrong in my thinking but I am sure I am higly competetive with my education which camme after the fact of the petty theft, a bad choice (which I take responsibility for) years ago is the deciding factor and not the current good choices that make me a higly educated individual. My complaint here is that resoources were wasted when a job was offered and I was sent to U/A as well as the background check. Let's just say that if I was to oversee this process I would have to be sure to only offer a job to someone I was going to hire. Check the backgound first, then if I want to hire the person offer the Job and send them to U/A. i recieved a canadian walmart gift card, and i live in the u.s.a . i cant find anyone to tell me if i can use it. i emailed help@walmart.com . no answer . i phoned help line, no answers. i also want to know if i cant use it, why? isnt walmart one big company? different branches yes but same company isnt it. this is ridiculous.218-456-2012. walmart used to be my all time fav store, now im not so sure.even store managers couldnt help me....

My family and my self have been doing buss. with the yucca valley wal-mart store in calif for 20 plus years. I have never had a problem until NOW. (LUCKY). any way my wife took ur 03 toyota tundra in for new wiper blades and on three occasion either the driver side or the pass side came off. each time I returned them Carlos in auto would replace the wiper blade clip,saying it was defective. well as you all now southern cal. if. is being hit by the storm of the century,and guese what the driver side wiper blade come's off on my wife's way home from base. well she made it home but when i called the yucca valley calif. store and askedfor the the manager, (which I got) he was vary rude and and basicly said it was a manufactor defect and hung up (HARD). needless to say I will NEVER GO TO WALMART OR SAM'S CLUB EVER AGIN AND I WILL SIGN THE PROTEST SHEET GOING THERE TOWN AGAINST BUILDING A SUPER WAL-MART.
Purchased at $250 gift card for my dtr. She went to use it at the Peach St Store in Erie, PA and the card show not activated. No one would help her get the thing activated so she brought it to me. I called the number on back of the card and it said it was not activated and for me to take to my nearest Walmart which I did the one on W23rd St, Erie, PA and they had no clue on what to do. I've sent 3 emails, and have called 4 different numbers and now I am on hold at the corporate customer service been on hold now for 9 minutes. I HAVE ALL THE PAPER WORK, I WANT THE CARD ACTIVATED TODAY............................. How can I give you a good rating when your employees have no clue how to do their jobs, that includes MANAGEMENT. Very, very disappointed in Walmart.....
i get my retirement on the i spent 91.00 off my card in the store and when i got home i found out that someone took 453.00 off my cards in mexico while i was in my stor in mertle beach south carolnea i did everythig there ask me to do and their told me to call these mercant in mexico i am going to sue your comapy because i want have no lights'phone' water' i am handicapped i think this wrong you have this proble to many times all i need is for mmy money to be place back on my card so please help me .

This message is for Corporate Headquarters Executives, who make all the decisions for the thousands of Walmart stores all over the world. I was shocked and in a state of disbelief upon visiting your store today in Culpeper, Virginia. I had purchased a Fiber Optic Christmas tree earlier in December and discovered the week before Christmas, that the tree was defective. The sound coming from it indicated that there was an electrical problem. I moved the tree but the sound continued. I have other Fiber Optic trees and proceeded to examine them and discovered they were not emitting this sound. I disconnected the tree for fear of creating a fire hazard. When I purchased the tree, I was not informed that all Christmas items had to be returned or exchanged by December 25th ..BELIEVE IT OR NOT! I decided to take the tree back as early as possible before the New Year's holiday and transported it today, December 27th, 2010 to the Culpeper store. I was directed to "Checkouts number 5, 6 or 7 by the Greeter to take back Christmas items. The polite clerk on Number 5 checkout checked with a supervisor and informed me of the December 25th rule of return! I went into shock over this! I was expected to get up from my Christmas celebration with my family and rush to Walmart to take this back?? Suppose it were a Christmas sweater that didn't fit? Too bad for me, huh? In all my senior years, I have never experienced such an unfair and ridiculous rule concerning Christmas items. I later called back to clarify my claim of a DEFECTIVE item and was told that one of the managers had stated I would have to send it back to the manufacturer.. All I wanted today was a new and working Fiber Optic Christmas tree! One that would not burn my house to the ground when it "shorted out"! Shame on you for making such a ridiculous rule that affects old and young!
