i recently was in the chicopee, mass, store, i have never been in such a filthy store in my life, and it was not the floor from the recent storms, here, everything was so disorganized, they need a manager who can do abetter job getting everything in order, i would never get any food from their food comcession for fear they do not wash their hands, i go to the westfield, mass walmart, most of the time , everything is wonderful there, clean organized, and when i walk into the door, i know where everything is, i will never go to chicopee, mass store again and i will tell all my friends what i encountered, and with so many people out of work, they could have been hired to do the snow removal, i was stuck in a space for over 30 min, because i could not get out,no reason for this at all, i am very disgusted with what i saw there, i think you had better have a talk with the person in charge, i give you no stars.
I work at a Wal-mart I have been getting sick by using a PROPANE BUFFER. One of the over night Manager's will not give them up. And when I had to take time off and than returned to work they told me they do not take Doctors notes. If nothing is done about this I have picture's of the BUFFERS I will post them on FACEBOOK. I am TRIED OF WAL-MART RUNNING OVER THEIR WORKS. IT TIME SOME ONE STANDS UP FOR WORKS RIGHTS I AM THE ONE THAT WILL DO THAT. My e mail thmretail @ live . com
The comment regarding don't get sick or die should have been 0 stars

I just read an article in my local newspaper about 4 Layton,Utah employees who were fired for detaining a shoplifter who had a LOADED semi-automatic weapon. These people are heros and should be honored! Walmart will not be getting my business until these people are put back into their positions in their store. They stopped a convicted felon from returning into the store where customers shopped, where many people could have gotten hurt, or worse could have died! Shame on you!
The Statesboro, Georgia Walmart is not honoring their own Price Match Promise: Price matching Our goal is always to be the low price leader in every community where we operate. Our customers trust us to have every day low prices ... there's no need for "special sales." Our unbeatable promise: Store managers make the final decision in always taking care of our customers, but we do have guidelines for matching our competition. •We do honor "Preferred Shopping Card" advertised prices. Must be like items, be advertised and require a competitor's shopping card, for the discount to apply. •We do not honor advertisements that require a purchase in order to receive the advertised price or free product. •We do not honor "Buy One / Get One Free" advertisements. •We do not honor double or triple coupons or percent off advertisements. •We do not honor other retailers' "Misprinted" advertised prices. •We do not honor Internet Pricing. •We do not honor competitor advertisements from outside of the store's or Club's local trade territory. They refused to honor their own promise of price matching with "Preferred Shopping Card" of local competitor's advertised price even though they had the sales paper displayed of that competitor! REALLY????? Come on Walmart.....ever heard of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Don't let this happen to you!!! Call the 1-800-WALMART while you stand in the checkout line. Report these happenings!!!
Walmart recently opened a Super Walmart on Boston RD. Springfield, MA and as with so many other store complaints this one is on it's way down. As they say first impressions are extremely important and for me and my friend this store is poorly managed, poorly stocked, poorly kept in it's appearance and all that entails. I have a home in Florence, SC and those area Walmarts are a pleasure to shop in. This Springfield store is not in keeping with the image Walmart desires I'm sure.
Very displeased with the Murphy North Carolina wal mart . The ebtire staff was so hateful and disrespectful. The deli was not at all busy but the staff would not take the time to acknowledge us . The female in the jewelry department was very very rude We interupted her cell phone conversation to ask her if we could look at a ring . Abruptly she said JUST WAIT A MINUTE and went back to her personal telephone call. Cashier was also in a bad mood she never smiled or said hello she just started scanning the items and throwing them in the bags . We asked to see the manager and you would have thought we had asked her for her first born child . Her reaction was way out of line . She said YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT we went off to the side and we waited 26 minutes for a manager to show up . We told her of the expierence but she was unconcerned and blamed the rudeness on the fact that thier hours were cut . I am sorry but that is no excuse for thier plain down right rudeness Sam Walton would fire everyone of you in Murphy North Carolina if he were still alive
The walmart in Murphy n.c. what a joke . no one there knows what they are doing The only thing they know how to do well is being rude and stupid , very poor management from the top to the floor supervisors , will not return I hope that someone in the main headquarters reads this as it is very difficult to speak with a manager in Murphy N.C. guess they are just to busy to listen to the customers that pays thier wages
your store 0338 in fort smith, ar---has the rudest managers I have ever encountered!!! walmart claims their customers are #1, that's a big lie!!!! The managers do not like to be bothered by customers!! Faith Skinner needs to be retired or better yet a truck unloader that stays in the back of the building. She has no people skills !! but I guess that's what walmart wants--someone that talks down to customers & employees like they don't matter!!. My husband was in the hospital 2 times in 2 weeks--he is a door greeter and tried to come back to work after the first time. He was sitting on the chair--passed out and hit his head hard-- they called an ambulance, that was the 2 time. She could have cared less, I don't think she even new it. When I tried to explain to her he needed to be be on leave from work until his health was better , she was very rude, wouldn't let me explain, told me I could pick one up at any walmart!!! I was a manager in retail & food for over 20 years so I know how to treat customers & employees and it sure is not the way she treats people. I would have been fired a long time ago--but I guess this is the way walmart wants to treat you!! But not no more from this family!!! to bad they don't let you rate with a -0......
Our vehicle fan quit working, which will allow the vehicle to overheat. Before taking it to a shop to be fixed, we needed a tire replaced. Took it to WalMart Tire and Lube in Hamilton, NJ to get a tire. Explained to the mechanic that it would overheat, so please turn it off when he parks it in the bay. Made him say he understood, several times before giving him the keys. He took the keys and walked off. After waiting in line behind two other customers to give their information, and one to fill out a complaint report, it was our turn to give all of our information. During this time, had seen the mechanic go into the store, come back, say they didnt have the tire we needed, manager told him to get one off the top shelf, mechanic went back inside, found a ladder, climb up and got the tire from the top shelf, put the ladder away, rolled the tire back out of the store, and then all of the sudden... an explosion echoed through the service center!! He had left our vehicle running for 20 minutes or more!, and the radiator exploded, and the engine block cracked open... $5,000 worth of damage! Called the store assistant manager over, had her sign a detailed statement that we wrote about what happened, and had them file a claim. Then they had our vehicle towed back to our house! Had to rent a car, to pick up our son, who had to sit in the school office until we could get there. It is now 3 months later... we have not been able to pay our rent or part of our utility bills because of paying for the rental car (our vehicle was paid for), and now have run out of money for the car, how are we supposed to get to work to put food on then table! WalMart has decided that they are not at fault, and refuse to pay for the damages! What are we supposed to do!!!?????
It's simple..no one hour film developing, no walking around for an hour spending money on things I don't need, but now find I have to have...don't reset my change oil light because of new policy, and I go somewhere else to change my oil, and don't walk around finding things I don't need but find I can't live without...lots of people did the same thing. I own stock in Walmart and would really like to see some changes...changed.
can we please have jean friday back?
Read that sales are down, want to put the fabric back and the lay-away yet??? That old man was smarter than any of you wasn't he.
Don't get sick or die. It will not be excused by Wal Mart. So glad all the executives are healthy and plan to live forever
You built us a new Walmart in Irmo, SC about 1 1/2 - 2 yrs. ago. We were all exicited that we had a Walmart closer to us, as we live way out in the country. So to go to the store is an event. But after the store opened and we started looking for products that we normally would buy and this store did not carry them. They didn't even have the automotive center. So no more getting your oil changed or whatever. The craft section is pathetic and this store doesn't even sell fabric. What a bummer. I do go and shop at Walmart, but not nearly as much as I used to, because of this store. It is a very nice store, but lacks the products I was accustomed to buying. And customer service is a thing of the past.
I am a very frustrated wife!My husband is going on his 15th year of working with Wal-Mart.We had to transfer a year ago and he was told he could take part time an hour away until something opened up.He took it as I wasn't working as we were working on getting my son a Cochlear IMplant!Anyways, we were dropped from benefits and everything. However, they scheduled him full time hours!!!In the course of time they also screwed up his vacation hours and his checks got screwed up a few times. Now we both worked retail and know that hours cut Jan/Feb happen but he gets 40 hours next couple of weeks cut to 32-38 but then he was scheduled one day and now taken off and now only 30 hours!!This is nuts!!He gets the feeling sometimes they are trying to get rid of him! Also, I am an avid customer and I have been in quite a few stores and I am just astonished on how the customer service is so poor!Very seldom do I come acrossed decent service.I have to say ,I may just have to shop else where.I feel that Sams dream is crashing down!I would not tell someone to work there if I had too.
Menomonie, WI Wal-mart. Talked to asst. mgr about poor location of handicap scooters in store. Seems they would rather have bags of salt sitting where handicapped riders should be. Also riders don't work half the time. Very poor condition and should be replaced. Just came back from Walmart, wondering why I even go there, got my prescription drugs and asked about the $4.00 drugs. Mine were generic but was charged more than $4.00. Was informed that if the drug has a * by it then it fell into a higher costing generic drug. I didn't read the fine print !!! Also got oil/filter to change my car oil. Went to check out and, golly gee, most of the check outs were closed. This is a normal policy for Wal-mart. Let the customers stand and maybe they might happen to buy something else. I took a picture on my cell phone of the people standing in line but their management didn't want to see it. Hello . Walmart stop messing with your customers.
Wal-mart is a disgrace. The saddest excuse of a store, they rip people of everyday and the people who don't watch them ring there stuff up don't notice they are paying a higher price then marked. Also if you are having trouble with your W-2 your not alone. Now they are messing with peoples hard earned money.Selmer tn Wal-mart is screwing people. So who do we go to tell them how bad people are getting screwed.I personally asked the personal lady to give me a copy of the last paycheck stub and she refused. Why would she not want me to have a copy of the last chsck stub.Because the W-2 we got said he earned a little of $9400 and the federal taxes was $20.00. My husband own his class action lawsuit for working on break we beleave the w-2 problem to be retaliation will be contacting attorney if they do not resolve our w-2 issue
Not a Bargain Anymore. I shopped almost exclusively at Walmart for the past 15 years plus. I bought all of my groceries, prescriptions, health and beauty items, cleaners, electronics, toys, housewares, and even oil changes and tires for our vehicles. I am sad to say that I no longer find many bargains in the Waco stores. In fact many of the things I used to buy are just no longer on the shelves at all! Your prices are no longer competitive either. I can find better deals at my Local HEB on the items that I buy every week. HEB stores are cleaner and more organized. If I can find an employee to help me in Walmart they never know how to answer a question about where things are located, or have any information about products. HEB employees are much more helpful and knowledgeable. If I ask for help in locating something their employees will actually take me to the item I am searching for. Many times I have been in the check out line at Walmart when the checker said not a word to me- until they announce the total after ringing up my items. I have even greeted the checker only to have them not even acknowledge that I said anything to them. They are beyond rude! HEB checkers are friendly and always greet you in the checkout line. Walmart often has only a few checkout lanes open when the store is really crowded. HEB has personnel who watch the checkout lanes and open up more lanes when necessary. They will actually come and take you out of line and into another to reduce your wait time. Walmart's produce is often wilted and ridden with fruit flies, and apples and oranges are already too soft. I used to love Walmart, but have become very dissatisfied in the past two years. With money being as tight as it is these days I will choose to spend mine with HEB. They are just as conveniently located as Walmart, have better prices, better selections, nicer stores, and much more friendly and helpful employees. I also like that they will carry my groceries out to my car as well. Though I probably don't save much money with HEB I am at least getting better treatment for the money I spend and that makes it a better value to me. Sincerely, Carolyn Petry
