i love that electronic cigarette you guys have. its rechargable and i can get a 5 pack of cartridges for about $15. each cartridge last as long as a pack of cigarettes. these day it cost $6-$8 a pack. i usualy smoke 3/4 a pack a day. it helps me save money.
I bough cheese cubes at Walmart and when I opened the bag the cheese was moldy so I called and I told them, they had the nerves to tell me well bring in the bag of cheese with the receipt and we will gladly exchange it or give u money back I was like are you serious, Walmart is such a disappointment to me right now specially because they have rude employees and they are never around when you need assistance.
I was at the Wal-Mart store in Granite City, Il on Sat. 2/4/2012. I am a handicapped person who needs the electric cart to shop. There were 3 of them right inside the door, so I was dropped off there only to find ALL three were being charged. 1 was to be done at 3:30 pom, I got there at 3:35 it was not charged still, another was 3:45 and 4:00 pm none charged by the time stated. I finaly got 1 as a man was leaving he said it was fully charged, I got into the store 5 minutes and it died. I finally got back up front, still none charged. Long and short of it, I went through all SEVEN if their carts,NONE CHARGED, after being in the store 5-10 minutes. Three times I asked for a manager, finally the thrid time one was called. She was very rude, when I ask her why ALL the carts were dead? She said she can't do anything about it because they are used all day every day. I ask her to post signs by the carts, asking the customers to be curtious of eadcdh other and please plug the cart in upon parking it. She said we can't tell customers what to do. I said it is merely asking them to be curtious of each other. I was also told that the carts are plugged in every night, but one of the associates told me more often than not that is not true, because she comes in at 7 am, very rarely are they plugged in. WAL-MART all we are asking for is a little common curtiousy and have customers asked to plug them in, and for associates to check them when they pass by them to see if they are plugged in. I used to drive 20 minutes just to go to that store because everyone was so much nicer than the store near me....BUT NO MORE....they treated me as if they did not want the business of handicapped people by not having the carts charged and by the rudness of management.
There not doing away with door greeters they are just going back to there normal job the way sam wanted it in the beginning are they are going to be required to do is be door greeters they will no longer have side jobs thats the way its suppose to be..
I was a walmart employee and everything but in the last month they have fired 4 people all for the samething i just got fired today for the same reason they said productivity well there is ppl in there who dont work at all and they treat the ones like that like gold and treat us like crap i wanna get together and file a law suite against walmart for favoritism and discrimnation for what they are doin if u know how to go bout doin tht let me know

I USE TO LIKE WALMART BUT IT'S NOT A GOOD PLACE TO WORK....BECAUSE MY MOTHER WORKED THERE 13 YEAR'S & AND NOW SHE'S VERY SICK AND THEY WANT GIVE HER HER BENIFITS BECAUSE RIGHT BEFORE SHE GOT SICK IN THE LAST YEAR THEY CUT HER HOUR'S LIKE A HALF HOUR TO MAKE HER NOT FULL TIME AND NOW SHE HAS NO DEATH INSURANCE AND IS TOO OLD TO GET ANY BECAUSE OF HER AGE AND HEATH..AFTER 13 YEAR'S OF WORKING FOR THEM YOU WOULD THINK THEY CARE MORE ABOUT YOU THEN THAT BUT ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SO' I SAY WALMARTS IS SO WRONG FOR WHAT THEY DID TO MY MOM.
@ pissed off will you cant trade store credit for american express to use somewhere else. you CAN buy cigarettes, alcohol, condoms, swiss cheese, a vacuum cleaner, or anything (so long as its legal and on the shelf). they gave you STORE CREDIT. YOU NEED TO GET SOMETHING AT THE STORE. HELLLOOOO MORON??? (GREDDY ASS WAL-MART WON'T ALL MONEY SPENT IN THERE BIG STORE) <--- what in the world does this mean...its embarrassing :( @ computer guy what are you blabbering about? some kids are using prepaid phones? why is walmart responsible for anything? lemme guess, someone uses paper and pencil to write death threats...WALMART MUST PAY. idiot @ walmart employee those rules you dont like have a reason, and are not illegal, immoral, or unethical. you seem to understand why they exist, yet it did not stop you from adding them to your gripe list. its unfortunate that you arent getting the money you feel you deserve, consider a transfer or getting the education to become the pharmacist. no better way to improve your situation. as for avoiding time and a half employees on sunday, ok. thats not really your problem. dont get angry on behalf of someone else, someone that been working almost 20 years and is probably doing just fine. @ f.a. sounds like you dont belong. take a hint and its their loss (assuming you are the wonderful individual you claim to be, not some slacker that reduced availability just to get out of work you dont like but are probably needed for). instead of ranting here, you could have been applying somewhere else. @ happy camper horray! good for you @ a pround american (spell check, idiot. dont ignore that red squiggle) you dont work for the company, and you dont like it. got it. @ Vincennes online rollback is only online. rollbacks are for a market area to push certain products (within an advertised local area), clearance is for individual stores to push (usually deleted) products. coupons are really an outdated thing, but if you arent trying to bend the rules they are very simple. my suggestion is to figure out which cashier handles them the best and use that person regularly. my suggestion is NOT the new inexperienced person, thats who the scammer would use. ask the manager who is the most experienced (and let them approve the coupons proactively), and use them @ angela sounds great! @ John Reed thanks for the heads up on that scam @ brittany blaise you stole items, you got caught. its unfortunate that you feel you should get "chances" or some kind of childish excuse for lack of being an adult. accepting tips is strongly against company policy, and if it was unreasonable to return the money while explaining our policy, that money should have been turned in immediately and directly to management. three strikes and youre out. @ shawn fartley keep your nose clean for a while and you will go back to "good" status. i know its really difficult, ive been there man. you can either stick it out or cut your losses. you realize that insurance policy is not discount policy. you realize that you cant slack off on the job. hopefully you move on and win those managers over. best of luck. @ wal-nopoly doesnt sound like management is the right fit for your hubby. if he is the good employee you believe, he should use that experience to change position or employment. there really is no other answer. @ mary ann unfamiliar with that store chain, but if you found a price match, ok. not sure what the issue is, do you mind the prices on everything else in the store? are you upset on behalf of other people because a different company has different prices? its not a monopoly, you can pharmacy one place and shop another. they just happen to have them both, for your supposed convenience. spoiled much?
There is very little communication between the stores and corporate office for assistance to help customer service. Your'e just left hanging till ------you hopelessly let go with no resolve bbut to do it their way.
I live in Deming New Mexico. I retired here two years ago,and would like to tell you this has been the worse Walmart I have ever been in. The majority of the help do not speak English and do not understand anything you say when asking for their help.We were full time RV;S and we traveled all over the U.S.A and Canada and have found this Walmart to be the worse we have ever encounted. #1 No one speaks English #2 No one helps you when you ask for their help because it is not their dept or they do not understand you because they do not speak English. #3 When cashing out there is always (visiting friends) talking with the cashier in Spanish when she is suppose to be taking care of you. ( This happens all the time) #4 I asked for Beef Barley and no one could help me find it because they couldn;t understand what I was looking for. A customer helped me find it. #5 I really believe everyone of your employees should all speak English and understand us. #6 When I ask anyone on the floor to help me look for something they look at me and shrug their shoulders ,because they do not know what I am saying. I have been working for walmart now for almost 2 years. I agree with alot of what most of you are saying. I am located in pa and it is no different here! The store IS greety, I pull skids and everything everyday, pulling my back out many times cause im only 110 pounds, and i get paid 8.00 an hour!!! Come on now! Everyone else I work with is a guy, and im stuck doing all of thier work and I am a girl, how is this fair? I don't think women get fair treatment at walmart either! As far as managment goes, the ones in my store, I could even do their job, they dont do ANYTHING at all and lack of communication, one tells me one thing, another one tells me something completely different, i don't know what the hell to do anymore!!!!
walmart in porter texas treat people rile bad that shop there managers there no nothing about keeping people happy that shop there hell they don't even smile i cant stand them at all there are two women that manages store that are brown they treat people that are honest and yes there are some honest people that still shop there i had coupons i have a large family and it takes me 3 to 4 hours a week to hunt for sales not counting cutting over a 100 coupons to go with thoes ads so like your police says no need to have the ad with you to match other store ads come on 6 stores i look thru to be told if they dont have the paper with them then they want match ad even thoe its a 50 mile span that they should have paper like i was told from yalls headquarters so most my stuff went back i hope they are happy match other papers price at regesters my ass i think thoes two women are treating me bad because i am white yes i went there because the same women keep treating me that way every time i shop there and thats not right

I was hired as a temp for the Camden DE store.On 12/17/2011 they hired me as a permanent employee. On 12/22/2011 I showed up for work and went to the CSM for my positon and they told me that Co-Manager Anita wanted to see me. Co-manager Anita told me they had to let me go because I was one of the last temp hired on. Now mind you that it's an employee who has been there for eight months and is still a temp but yet she still remain an employee. I have never missed a day of work and was a great employee.Now all I need is a letter stating that I am no longer employed and can't get one because I can no longer log on to their website.
I shop at Wal Mart at least three days a week - I take my Mother along as they have electric carts for her to use. Today we were advised that Wal Mart is doing away with the Greeters! This is not a good thing. I will not shop at Wal Mart any longer as they are such a huge help. In the days of hauling out your own groceries and the checkers have to bag the groceries - it was refreshing to have a greeter assist more then once - they are always ready - I have seen them catch people stealing - when harassed by people begging for money in the parking lot - they have always taken care of the situation asap. I have posted on fb as this is not a good thing. I will spread the word. I will go to Safeway as I would rather spend more and have help out with the groceries a big perk - any assistance is a help and good customer service is what I look for when I spend the amt I do a month.
I hired into Walmart as a greeter. After basic training on their computers I was put on the front door with no training on how to do returns, check out alarms, etc. They did train me with CBL's on how to use the trash compactor which we never go near. There were other things too such as carding people for cigarettes and alcohol which we have nothing to do with. Most customers are nice but we have some real butt heads who think they are special and want special treatment. We try to fill most requests but don't appreciate rudeness when we can't. The worst people are the ones who live off the taxpayers with the WIX ( food stamp program ) and leave with whole baskets full of groceries and other goods at taxpayers expense. A lot of them look healthy enough to hold jobs but apparently never have to look for one. They stay at home, watch TV and eat all the wrong foods and get fat. Then wonder why they can't walk but waddle all the time. The management here is aloof and not caring. Very few of them will smile or even acknowledge you when you pass each other. The new manager told her supervisors that they did not have to care if the employees hated them, just make sure they get their work done. They will not take suggestions, sorry Walter, but ignore you and make policies that make no sense at the work station. If I wasn't trying to pay off my cancer medical bills the insurance ( Humana ) wouldn't pay I would quit and live on my Social Security. Sorry Walmart but you get an F on store management and customer service.
I work at Walmart store number 1886, I have recently been given my d-day when I was leaning by my register to take some weight off my feet. This process took about 15-30 minutes, and meant being understaffed in that department the next day, The reason I bring this up mostly is because it was a large waste of time for the manager, the witness, and the employee. I personally find this an atrocious thing to be done, and I hope that the assistant manager who showed a clear waste of time by doing this, gets a coaching for wasting managerial time. The big issue is, that he didn't simply say "Find something else to do that's productive" I'd understand if he said it and I ignored it, but the big issue is that I went from nothing wrong then get hit by an extreme. On another issue, I was coached a few months back for letting a beneficiary use my discount card. It's an official beneficiary via the walmart life insurance policy, this was done by the same assistant manager, who did not explain in detail what he meant by beneficiary, or the fine details on things. I personally would like something done about this, because I work my tail off, the other managers like me, and respect me, including the store manager. But this particular one seems to have some issues with me, I feel hurt, because when I go to the co-managers, I get nothing but avoidance...
Guess my store is the only one that rocks, go #1114 woot! I'm a customer service manager and try to be fair with everyone and please everyone. The managers treat us and customers fairly good. First walmart I've worked for where I can say I feel like it's my second home. Lots of nice people, we live in a good community so customers are most of the time nice, except when they don't get their way with coupons or price match but that's because they are cheating sorry can't say yes to "EVERYONE" our prices would sky rocket. Keep on rocking 1114 mountain view Arkansas.
The Vincennes, IN walmart has the worse service ever during the day, but the employees on the evening and night shift are a little better. I have never in my life seen so many people absolutely hate their jobs and take it out on the customers. Forget couponing there! The employees all act as if it is coming straight out of their pockets! I have on numerous occasions found rollbacks listed on the walmart site and shown as out of stock in my Vincennes store, so I requested to be notified by email when the item became available, yet when I went to the Vincennes store, the item was not marked down and the employee and manager refused to give me the rollback price despite the website printout. I have not seen one single person on the day shift smile in years, and I shopped there quite often, until recently. It is nearly impossible to get them to take any coupons without a fight and having to show them the walmart coupon policy. I have heard on many occasions how horrible it is to work for this particular walmart, but if an employee hates their job that bad, quit, there will be a thousand other applicants willing to work, especially in this economy! As for management, what are you doing to make those people hate working there?
