Wednesday, 5Sep12. I went into WalMart #697, Ocala, Florida, TLE Dept. I spoke loudly "Good Morning!" The 2 customers spoke, however, WM TLE Associate (Sal) refused to acknowledge me (YES, he did hear me. He is very rude, and continued his rude behavior throughout my visit). I wanted to see if I qualified for a pro-rated tire for the one I purchased 25Sep2009, and purchased the insurance on it. It's a Goodyear V2 P215 60R16 w/60,000 miles limited. I haven't driven 60,000 miles on it, but I had a blow out earlier in week. I drove on the tire to a location to have it repaired, but they couldn't repair it. At WalMart, although the cashier had already reviewed my original paperwork, for some odd reason(s) Sal the TLE service didn't believe I had purchased insurance. So he said to me, "I need to see your paperwork!" I wondered "why?" He pretended he needed to see if it's a WalMart Tire. Then he said "you're not entitled to a pro-rated tire because your tire blew out because you need a wheel alignment!" I asked for a member of management. The Cashier summons the AM for me, but Sal answered the phone and whispered to the AM things that I could not hear, but I did hear Sal say, "the tire is bald, she needs a wheel alignment and she's not entitled to a pro-rated tire." The AM came without talking to me. I asked him before he repeats to me what Sal told him, would he come look at the tire to see that it is not bald. He agreed, but still said, "you are not entitled to a pro-rated tire because you need a wheel alignment!" This Sal was out of line, he works in the garage and makes management decisions. Also, he's not customer friendly.
your commercials say that they will match prices. Then why did the mamager at store 1021 tell me they didn't price match with the new Aldi's we have? That makes me shop the other store more. Either stop running that ad or match the prices?
After getting the 11159W Clock/Compass/Thermometer Battery Included from Walmart on Albert-Pike road In...Beautiful Historical Hot Springs National Park Arkansas USA. I opened it and I was looking at the battery and how it installs in to the 11159W Clock, Compass, Thermometer I had to talk with A customer...so I put the battery in my pocket till I finished talking...I heard A loud sound that sounded like A 22 Rifle and A sharp pain in my leg when I took the battery out of my pocket I noticed that the battery had exploded in my pocket and burned A hole in my slacks and my leg. Call me at the below phone number now A...Please and Thank You...Have a Blessed One A. Dr. Weathers 501-463-8438

Hello, The reason I am emailing is because my experience with the Walmartment located in Pittsburg, Ca 94565 has been horrible. I have called 3 times this morning looking for a certain product that the store carries and I was placed on hold for 10 each time, the third time I wanted to speak with the manager but the customer serivce person was "relaying" a message from the manager stating that the store doesnt sell this certain product which is untrue because I have purchased it from this particular walmart in the past numberous times. Online it said that the product was not sold online but it was in the store. I feel that this information was unaccurate, incorrect and I got the run around because someone didnt want to actually look to see if the product was there. It would be easier if walmart would have an undated system that allows you to check to see if the product is really there using the item #. This is sad, unfortunate and should be handled in a different way, its early in the morning which means the store isnt that busy and someone should have really for the item instead of guessing.
I went to Walmart to get my oil change along with tires they put the wrong oil and refused the tires I live in sc and always went to Walmart for oil change and finally startd paying attention turns out the have been over filling the oil as well they cost me $660 to fix everythig
walmart has charged me for retail theft for $ 3.33,because i opened a box of icecream bars for my disabled husband that was having a sugar attack and was ready to have a seizure or pass out in there store.they dont care to lisen, made me feel like a criminal i am in my forties and never been in trouble.now i am stuck paying lots of legal fees ,i beleived i did the right thing.walmart needs to focas on the real theives and there own employees.i am going to fight them as long as i can.i know last black friday 2 tv s got stolen off there truck, who do you think did that?
I am a current employee and I have a sibling that worked for Walmart for 25+ years and then retired with them. She highly recommended them to me after I retired and was looking for something to do that would generate some extra spending money. I have retail banking experience so this is not my first retail selling environment. This is the worst work experience of my life. This store has the most unprofessional management team you can possibly imagine. They are mostly very young and lack any kind of personnel, inventory, or customer service expertise. They do not work with their teams in scheduling hours. They make mid-week schedule changes without discussing or notifying the employees that it affects. The Dept. Managers are clueless in inventory control and keeping products that customers consistently buy available. In listening to them in our breakroom they do nothing but bad mouth the company and district management. Morale, inexperience, lack of leadership are all major issues. Turnover is beyond rediculous! In my short 9 months the store has been robbed, the manager has been fired, the zone managers and dept. managers are like a revolving door and last but not least...the store should be condemned! The health dept. needs to visit the dairy, deli, cheese wall, egg wall and back of the house. It seems that Walmart does not want clean, competent, professional employees. They go out of their way to bring in many employess that cannot/will not speak english, cannot read therefor cannot stock or zone correctly, cannot weigh product and serve customers because they do not know fractions. They do not understand 1/8 lb. 1/4lb. etc. These people need jobs so whose fault is it??? Walmart does not screen these people! They do not train or educate these people. Walmart does the absolute minimum in approving and hiring these individuals. I think it is much deeper than local HR people. I believe this is coming from executiuve management down to the districts and local stores. Get them in, pay them minimumly, work them hard, push them until they are broken and succumb or they leave. Then replace them with another just like them. Should Walmart teach them to read and write and understand fractions??? Maybe not, but if they truly were wanting their customers to "live better", would'nt they want the best people serving their customers??? I have lost all respect for the organization and like many professionals still at Walmart I am seeking another opportunity. In the end my sibling insists that it was not this way when Sam Walton was alive. Sam believed sincerely that his Sales Associates/employees were what made Walmart a success and kept customers coming back. Now the corporation is only concerned with share prices for shareholders and bottom line profitibility. They accomplish this in a big way by manipulating store budgets through cutting employee hours and income which causes unfair work loads on other employees, effects morale and performance, and causes customers to have poor service, long waits in line etc.. It is a sad disappointment for me but it is what it is. I'm sure my leaving will not change one thing. Customers will continue to blitz the stores at Christmas and put up with the poor customer service for the sake of saving a buck.
I really want to know why is the Walmart on Old National always closed at times, it is 6:40am and this is the third time that I experince this. If it is to be a 24hr location why is that their close?
Due to a problem I had with one of the employees of the local Wal Mart store (which I contacted the manager of the store to address and did not address the employee) I have been asked to curtail my visits to the store. Keep in mind that for years I have spent a minimum of $12,000 per year in that store. Both I and my husband have purchased tires for our vehicles through the Wal Mart store and this includes the guarantee of a free balance and alignment performed at the store for the life of the tires. I believe that I would be due a full refund of the monies spent for these tires as I would no longer be able to use what was sold to me. Please address this issue and send your reply asap.
Watch out in SMYRNA, Tennessee a lady was charged with Shopplifting and a Law Firm from FLORIDA sent the Lady a letter she owned $500 dollars. Problem was the lady that WALMART was trying to charge with the crime lived in TEXAS. After getting the mess resolved the Law firm still tried to charge the innocent lady for the crime and fine. Look up Channel 5 nashville news VIDEOS and , More VIDEOS , the entire story is online and Nashville channel 5 news. I was floored by Walmart doing this.
DO NOT BUY GMO/MONSANTO PRODUCE!!!!!!!!!!! TELL THEM TO LABEL IT,if they must sell it. GMO food seeds have been banned from many European countries for a reason.
massena ny. walmart. bought fish for children, the first batch died. took them back, got more for them. they died. what the hey. don't these employees know how to take care of fish. all the fish had ick. and died. ick is very dangerous with children as well. They need to get someone in the fish area that knows what they are doing and keep those tanks clean of dead fish that are floating in the tank. if dead fish are in the tank there is a reason why those ones dies. you don't sell contanimated fish. dugh. no wonder so many are trying to shut walmart down. I like walmart don't get me wrong, the one in my town is okay for somethings, but their produce section, you have ot look out for. you can smell spoiled vegitables and we got chicken that was out dated and spoiled. some employees dont seem to care about others, but it not the owners fault for the employee wrongs. I think that more training and inspection needs to be taken place.
Hello People, I am writing this comment in hopes that the Corporate Headquarters will read this ! I have been a loyal customer for 15 years and through this time I have seen and heard allot of bad stories about Walmart and now reading these comments on peoples experience as a customer really tells me that Walmart definitely needs a wake up call to improve there stores at which I am sure they are losing allot of money. So to start it off I see Walmart needs to start all employee's off with training in customer service to show them how to deal with customers in a polite and mannerly attitude and to never show discourtesy or rude behavior and the same go's for the Managers. Also I see major problems with stores either not having or having very little Handy-Cap electric store scooter baskets available either because the door personnel lacks the memory to plug them in or frankly they don't work or they are left in the parking lot . When I went to public grocery store I notice they have a system to help the elderly and handicapped which is once you go thru check out and if you are in a handicap electric scooter basket the cashier will have the bagger or one of the floor personnel to follow you to your car to not only help put the bags in the car but to also bring the cart back into the store to make sure there are plenty carts for the Handicap or elderly now I find this very refreshing to see concern for the handicap and the elderly . Now lets review Walmarts policy and problems on the Handicap electric scooters: Policy: according to Walmart personnel they expect you to return the cart back into the store once you are finished with it and not caring if you are handicapped or disabled which is bad PR for the Company. Problems: They have very little or not enough of handicap electric scooters for the customers or they simply don't work ! So in conclusion , there are allot more problems with Walmart such as employee's not doing there job and standing around doing nothing and problems in the deli and employee's not stocking shelves " I thought Walmart was in Business to make money " so I ask how can you make money this way , if anything I see you losing millions . Lady's & Gentlemen that's working in the Corporate Headquarters I am writing this comment of not to put down Walmart but to hope some of you who are working as Corporate Heads or Corporate Managers to make Walmart what it once was ! I give these comments of complete experience as not only owning two Business but also working for a Corporation for 20 years and being in the Service Field work for 40 years so I hope my comments get to the right person. Thank You Mike Z gynoman1951@yahoo.com
I was shopping at Walmart in Anderson,Ca for several years, until recently.Almost every time I'd shop there, I'd end up having to go to a second store to complete my shopping list due to the empty shelves at this location.I would go to this store some weeks 2 or 3 times, yet every time i leave with only half of the things i intended to buy.Final straw was seeing the empty coolers where the milk is supposed to be, what few containers of milk were out, were about to expire, looking past the empty shelves you can see big racks full of fresh milk that no one was bothering to stock. On top of that, the employees of this store seemed to have plenty of time to stand around talking to each other. I have tried to tell the CSM's on the floor about the empty shelves, but their response was " yeah we dont have enough employees to keep it all stocked all the time, we're short-handed." Really?? perhaps if the ones you do have would do more than standing around talking, then perhaps the water spills on the floor would get mopped up, the shelves get stocked, the expired food replaced with fresh and maybe even bring a cart or 2 back into the store so that customers aren't having to bring in their own. After trying at the store level to get someone to do something and seeing that fail, i have decided that i will not be shopping at walmart anymore. i drive a bit further and pay a bit more now, but at least im not burning up all my gas having to make 2 different stops for the things i need, not to mention not having to go through the frustration you typically have to deal with when you go to this store.
I,m an ex-associate from store 1560 who worked for the company for over ten years before being terminated and was told that after 30 days I was eligible for rehire,I've been reapplying every three months online since my separation in Jan.2011,the system recognizes my previous employment however no one ever contacts me when I know there is an opening at the stores which I have selected on my online application, why is this? I know that I qualified for the opening at store 4557 when there was an opening for overnight AP but no one contacted me,same for 1560,1559,2837 and 2838.
I live in Alpharetta and visit at least twice a week your Windward store in Alpharetta, Ga., and also the Mansell Walmart in Roswell, Ga., thinking one is cleaner than the other to find that they are both disgustingly flithy. The registers are and keyboards are nasty, where put our credit card in has never, ever been wiped or washed in either store by maintenance, if you walk around the register all you see is (I cannot even think about it) such dirty waste paper baskets in my life, they have NO linings most of them and the ones that do have look like the garbage is taken out and the lining left in. Under the registers are dirty the floors in the cabinets under the registers are never cleaned out I have noticed bugs and reported it to the Manager of the Windward store and nothing ever gets resolved. The MATS the cashiers stand on make me sick they are flithy. It has gotten to the point where I do not trust to buy food at Walmart I come in and only buy canned or paper goods. If something should fall from their hand and onto the turn table while packing my groceries I do not take it - I have them remove it from my bill. I do not know why you have maintenance people if they do NOT do their JOB!!!! It is not for the cashiers to come in and do it!!!!Some of them that you get to know complain to the customer to see if they can do something about this horrible mess you have going on in both your stores. I sure HOPE that YOU do NOT have this PROBEM in YOUR NEW STORE on Haynes Bridge Road in Alpharetta, Ga., your Neighborhood Walmart because right across the street I could go either way to PUBLIX or your new neighborhood Walmart. So please make up your minds Publix Clean or Walmart Neighborhood store dirty...... thank you and I sure hope I will start feeling better about Walmart
Dear Walmart, You have to be the most ungrateful employer I have ever came across, the stories I have read from trusted past emploies i have known are insane. For instance, my father in law.. Dave is a extremly hard working man. For 11 year's he worked in your tire and lube express at the 100 North Londonderry Square Palmyra, PA 17078 store. In that 11 year's 9 times this man was asked to take a managment position, he didn't want to for his own personal reasons. He never was late, came in with 4 feet of snow out side, stayed late, covered for everyone... My problem here is this man was fired, why.. for being diabetic and needing sugar the closest thing in his reach was the coffie they have sitting out for customers, so because this man took 1:30 seconds to drink a cup, he was fired for waisting company time............... Yeah.... He fought for 6 months to get unemployment, he went to court and was still denied... "according to walmart they don't have any records of him being diabetic" This was not the 1st time his sugar droped, this is not the 1st time he had to act quick... Since then on my family alone Walmart has lost $9,365.32 why, because i will drive the extra hr to go to target, I can not belive this company, how disrespectful they become once someone age's, even with a medical condition... Even worse, he has filled out well over 100 job applications since then and has not gotten hired. i called Walmart, as a potential employer I could not believe what i was told. Insane, pathedic, sad i know... I am sure your company will comment to try to make your self look better, but they wont... there still a pos.
