I am saddened and disappointed that you decided to dump Paula also. don't any of you have a back bone? I see how you will treat someone who makes a mistake and then apologizes for it. I wish I could get an apology for the way I have been repeatedly treated. Rudeness and laziness abound at your stores. I sure hope Paula being a well to do, white, southern woman has nothing to do with your decision.

I know how things worked before the super stores replaced the smaller stores. I was in the Marshfield, Mo store on June 28, 20013. Due to ankle surgery a month ago I am in an orthopedics boot; which has me handicapped and up able to walk far. As I was leaving the store NOT ONE EMPLOYEE ask if I needed any help! In fact while pushing a full cart to exit I spoke to a young man regarding the cart I had used while shopping.( I know what his job was due to the vest he wore; retrieve carts from the parking lot.) I ask him to return the motor cart to the plugs for me if he didn't mind. He stopped, looked at me and just kept walking. Several of the people using the exit at the same time ask if I needed any help. Why is it fellow patrons saw I needed help with my groceries but none of your employees did? Great store unless you need help. As for me I'll be shopping at my friendly neighborhood 'Grocery Store' with service Sam would be proud of.

Very discusting news Walmart has banned Paula Dean for a comment made over 20 years ago. I am certain the same executives have made slanderous comments over the years.Paula apologized. Hopefully we will here in the next day or two you are banning all hip hop and rap musicians that spew the same comments or worse. Holier than though executives.

I recently went to your store in Citrus Heights,Ca. I was appalled to hear a "top manager", scold an employee in front of others. It is very sad to see that Walmart continues to treat employees as if they dont exist. Walmarts" loyality is only to $$$$. That is becoming more evident. The store was in total disarray and every so-called low level mangers were all pregnant!! You never see smiling faces anymore; just robots. Dont get me wrong, pregnancy is a blessing. But all of them could barely assist cashiers and customers in a timely manner. Long lines, all products missing from shelves and the list goes on and on. Its time to go back to better service elsewhere. ~Candy

Open door policy is used to get a jump start on issues to reverse them and make it easier for the top dogs to prepare themselves to be defended. They definitely need a union at all DC levels. Now they have cameras to spy on associates in certain DC'S and tell you its to watch they system for problems. Need a better mixture of minority GM's and AGM's. Too many country hicks and uncle toms working against you instead of for you.

I am boycotting Walmart for dropping Paula Deen. Yes, I agree that her use of the "N" word long ago is totally inappropriate, but your reaction was too extreme. We've become too PC! Even Kmart didn't drop Martha Stuart when she broke the law & went to jail. What happened to the 1st amendment? She is not a racist, but you judged her like she was before her pre trial even went to court. I spend a lot of money at Walmart, so too bad you will be losing my business!

I do not understand why Wal-Mart has decided to no longer order Paula Deen items. I understand that you sell an item that says the N-word 113 times roughly, depicts sense of violence against the slaves during the late 1800s. This seems unfair. What's more, I don't understand how you cannot see the high number of supporters for Deen. Where is the justification for this? Oh and I also understand that Wal-Mart had a racial issue revolving the Jewish community. This seems hypocritical.

I just don't understand how you can just drop her like that she has made your company money and she makes one mistake and you all burn her at the cross really since walmart has gotten to big for its pants you all think your god well new flash your not and there are a lot of smaller store that I will be going to just to avoid a company like yours and a lot of other people feel the same your company should look at its self very well cause there are a lot of other things you all could be doing to better the store not bring it down how about clean it up get people in there that want to work not sit and at like there doing you a fav ringing you up and make them wear nice clothes not ones that fit to tight and have them selfs hanging out and have better mangers ones that help you when needed not pass you off to the first person they see but no you have to drop some women who is great in order to be in the in group try thinking out side the box and keep her and show the world that you don't go out of your way to hurt people but the company is there to support and help !!!!!!!

If everyone who has ever used a racial slur at some point in his/her life were fired, there would be almost no one working. The PC police are at it again. It's hypocritical and cowardly to single out Paula Deen for punishment. All of you are guilty of the same thing. All members of Congress are, too. I could go on and on listing groups. I am not so naive as to think that words can't slip out no matter how religious, conservative, and pious you are.

You get rid of this woman for something that happened 27 yrs ago, you get rid of her for saying the N word but I hear it everyday in rappers music, in movies , and i've heard black ppl call each other it.... In two separate occassions, I have purchased the 8 piece Deli chicken and has gotten SICK both times. You need to see just what is going on in the kitchen at the Sartell, Minnesota Walmart Deli. I will never buy anything from your Deli again.

From the people work there to customer service and now Paula Deen. She is too good for you. I don't feel sorry for her-she will make it through this- I feel sorry and disgusted with Walmart. Twice now I have been to my local Walmart to find the cashier smacking and popping gum in my face as she checked my items. This is so rude and now I find myself searching for a cashier that does not seem to be chewing and popping rather than looking for the shortest line. If Walmart continues to allow such I will go elsewhere rather than feel like I have been checked by some low class prostitue.

If I could I would not give WM a star at all for what they have done to Paula Deen, dropping her are you kidding. 30 years ago she said something yes it was in a the past a long time ago, not to mention when she said this no one knew who she was. No one knew the name Paula Deen, WM I have been a shopper of this store for a long time and have spend a lot of money in the store. I cannot believe you have dropped Paula Deen over something she said 30 years ago. Did you fire the person who used the F word? When I worked at the home office, this would never be allowed even in house. Accidents do happen and you seem to be the discriminating party. What good is this review site if Corporate does not look at it? Maybe that is why there are so many complaints.

Well, I just noticed that Walmart has stated they would no longer Order from Paula Dean. Well....I will no longer order or buy from Walmart.
