At the Carousel Center in Syracuse, New York there is a large Victoria Secret. While there yesterday I handed my 17 year old daughter my VS Credit card, a $10 gift card for my birthday and a coupon for a free pair of undies. It is important to note that she is an AUTHORIZED USER ON MY ACCOUNT. When she brought her items to the checkout area, the cashier immediately screamed at my daughter that she had the wrong underwear for the free promotion. Hannah said "Could you please tell me where they are?". The cashier responded "OVER THERE!" Hannah said "I'm sorry. Where?" "OVER THERE!" When she came back with the correct panties the woman rudely pointed out that my daughter's name was different than the name on the credit card (My name IS different than my husbands) She rudely asked for ID, accused my daughter of taking someone elses card, called a number to see if she was an authorized user, yelled at her that she wasn't and...here's the best part...seized the card and coupons. The woman wouldn't speak to me on the phone when my daughter called me and said into the phone "You can keep talking to me as much as you want I'm not going to listen". And, yes, by that time my daughter had had it with this woman's bullying and searched around for support from other's waiting in line who couldn't believe that this woman was speaking to Hannah this way. I went in today to get my card from the safe. I showed ID, and said "I'm here to pick up my credit card and coupons from the safe" The woman who waited on me took a while to acknowledge me...when she finally established eye contact with me, she took my ID and returned a few minutes later with my card and only 1 coupon. My $10 birthday gift card was gone. I asked her "Were there any more coupons in the safe?" and she said "No". That's it....nothing else was said. I toyed with the idea of speaking to a manager but instinctually knew that this would get me nowhere. The manager at this store needs a tune up in customer service. Bottom line...it starts with the manager. She's responsible for allowing such a poor attitude towards customers and I'm considering closing my account. I regret not knowing this person's name...long hair, pacific islander looking..worked on April 2nd at approximately 7pm. Unbelievable..
I think Victoria Secret has a Great Collection. However, in your 34th street store the customer service is beyond horrible. I come in the store excited and leave out ANGRY. Most of the customer service people on the floors don't like to speak to you or look you in the eye. I ask questions and they mumble with their heads down. These are actually manners your parents teach you! I don't go into this store very often for this particular reason and will most likely start shopping at Frederik's of Hollywood as I feel this unprofessionalism is a reflection of the Brand. Manhattan is one of the most popular locations and I am confused as to why the customer service is not up to par!
The company may have government regulations about undergarment....you never know...I know If I owned VS i would not allow return of undergarment. For the safety of the consumer, who wants to return panties and bra's that been on somebody...that's a lost
VS in Bloomingdale, Il..I am once again writing about poor service in this store. Noone ever asks you if you need help. The girls at the front of the store are not wearing name tags, and should i assume they are sales associates, by the yoga pants and pink sweatshirts with the elbows cut open??? The other two were trying to show the guys at the kiosk cell phone stand the new body spray..obviously outside of the store. The girls at the counter had there backs turned and were looking at a magazine, they saw me and looked annoyed until they finally said can i help you. Again rude from beginning till end. This store needs serious mgmt. and customer service skills.
The company need to better evaluate ur managers, as they are dating employees. Its very unprofessional and discusting.
I received horrible service at the Victoria's Secret store in Carbondale, Il. I went to exchange some bras that I had grabbed the wrong size in and that went just fine. No problems there. I also wanted to return a can of the dry shampoo that I had bought and it never sprayed! I told the store manager this, who was helping me, and she said the can was half empty! Really?! Pretty sure I just told you I had never used it. She refused to exchange it, refund my money, nor give me a store discount. So I told her yet again that I had not used it. Still got no help and she was beginning to get snippy with me! She even tried to give me back the can that wouldn't spray after I just told her it didn't work. So I told her to keep it! That store and most likely all of the Victoria's Secret stores have lost my business!
I have been shopping at victoria's secret for years & when I go I drop some money. Recently though I have been very dissapointed in the store. The employees are EXTREMELY rude. I have been to 2 different stores on 3 seperate occasions in the past week. At the first store I asked for a job application and was told "sorry we are all out of applications right now." That was a lie and I knew it so I put it past me and went to a different store and they had some remaining stuff from the semi-annual sale I bought some make-up, perfume, and a PINK collection bra. Outside of the store they advertise "free PINK dog with ANY PINK purchase" key word the ANY. I have bought clearanced items from VS before and received a PINK dog. When I got to the register the cashier was very slow and was already being rude. She rang me up and I asked her politley "do I get a pink dog with this bra since it is the PINK line" and she looked at me and chuckled sarcastically and said "no you only get those with full priced items dear" she said it so sarcastically the 2 customers behind me started laughing. I was VERY embarrassed. I did'nt even argue with her I just left. Today I went back to the same store to return a lotion and body spray I got for my birthday, I sprayed the body spray once to smell it. I walked up to the register and told the girl my story and put my stuff on the counter and she looked at me and in a very aggressive voice told me "NO NO NO this spray has been used I cant take this back." So I was like okay what about the lotion I didnt use that she scanned it and said "um I can take this back but you're only get like $2.00 for it so there is really no point" I proceeded to ask her why only $2.00 and apparently the specific fragrance was marked down during the semi annual sale. Last time I checked the return policy they are supposed to make their customers happy and I am pretty sure she should have taken that back. The funny thing is right after I went to Bath & Body works and returned about $60 worth of stuff I had gotten as gifts between christmas and my birthday and some of it was even used a little bit and they did'nt ask any questions they took everything back and gave me a store credit and they were very helpful and kind. My past three visits to VS have done it for me & I will not shop on line as their shipping prices are rediculos. VS has lost me as a customer for good & they wont see another penny from me & as for the girls from the second store I went to I will be calling their manager tomorrow and even if they dont care I will make sure they know they lost a loyal customer and I will tell all my friends what a terrible store VS is.

Hmmm.... the sweaters have straw on them and smell like sweat, urine and perfume. Where are coming from? Add periodic charges to my account that VS mysteriously cannot and will not acknowledge as fraudulent much less trace the origin. A supervisor? Mayyyybe one will call you back next week...
VS is overrated and needs a new everything. Pink is old already! Do you know how many times I have gone into your stores and pulled on those dumb looking little drawers for a what I see online, in your ads etc and found NOTHING!? I think you should pay me for the car rides! I am officially boycotting your store and I know a about 500 plus women I will get to do the same with a simple email to family and friends. Its not that I hate VS, its just lame already. Quality is down, employees are all my size and I know cant shop there either, but try to sell ME a SECRET CREDIT CARD! ha ha Now that is ballsy! Bottom line is I am so glad I have seen the light. Who needs PINK, trendy, crappy VS bras and sizes that cater to the scrawny and underfed? Not me. I am all set with Fredricks or even mall bras! GOOD BYE Victoria - your secret is out!
I have two daughters and we've bought many items at VS over the years. On 12/22 one of my daughters bought her sister a sweatshirt for Christmas at Pink for $49.50 at the Square One Mall in Saugus, MA. The only sweatshirt available was on a manequin so the salesgirl removed it and sold it to my daughter without a tag on it. We tried to return the item on 12/29 (poor fit) at the Northshore Mall in Peabody, MA. The manager at the store refused to accept the item because no tag was attached. I tried to explain that this was the way it was sold. She didn't care. She was incredibly loud and rude. She took the receipt, turned it over and slapped it down on the desk, pointed at it and said "this is our policy and we don't have to take it back and we won't". I was so embarrased for myself and my daughter. They clearly took advantage of her when the sold the sweatshirt to her. I will NEVER shop there again and will encourage my daughters to shop elsewhere. I'm not surprised, I've heard this is how they operate.
This is my story. I was one of the best sale's associates at Victoria's Secret, and after a month was promoted as a "beauty specialist." However, as the holiday came Secret Santa Reward Cards were given out and my mother recieved 2 or 3 of them, and luckily for her one of them was a $100 dollar one. We went to a VS store and she told me that I could get something too, so I did, I got a sweatshirt. Basically, I ended up getting fired because they said I wasn't allowed to use the card, when yet I was with my mother and it was her card...basically VS is WACK and UNFAIR.
Well woo hoo for you Teresa. Wait until they stop carrying your size all of a sudden like they stopped carrying size 40 bras and xl panties maybe a month or more, If you are used to shopping in a store for 10 years it can be a little upsetting to find out that the same bra you bought for years and recently bought maybe 3 months ago is no longer being carried.
I am appalled to find out that employees at VS are patted down and purses are searched each time they leave for break and at the end of their shift. These women are humiliated and violated and I will never step inside a VS store again. My friend/relative was told it was corporate policy, Maybe they should mention that before they hire them. What a disgusting practice for a retail store.
I had gone to the Miami Lakes, FL store at 10:00 AM and found other ladies (approximatley 8) waiting for the store to open its doors. Apparently some were upset as they would not open the door until the Manager returned. The weather was cool and damp. A couple of the ladies became upset stating this is not the only store in town and left. Another woman also became fed up and left. About 10 minutes later, the Manager shows holding a container with beverage/food. She left the store and had the customers wait so she could get her food? Why did she not do this before coming to the store in the first place? She apologized, but we all ignored her. I don't like to shop this store, as they never seem to open on time and I had told these ladies this upon my arrival. This is the norm for this particular store. I can't believe they have stayed in business at this locale. It just seems no one seems to care anymore.
I am in love with pretty much everything in your store and website!! everything is aimed at helping women be more comfortable in their own skin, and i absolutely LOVE IT!! Everything is very sexy, and glamorous, and i look forward to seeing what else will be created :)
For those complaining about the VS billboard in the Thanksgiving day parade, that billboard was on a VS storefront, if anyone is to blame, its NBC.. I shop at victoria's secret for all my underclothes and wouldn't shop anywhere else. As for VS not carrying your size, you can't expect them to carry EVERYTHING, I understand what your going through with people not carrying your size, I'm the same way, fortunately my uncommon size is ONLY carried at VS. I know there are other stores that specialize in larger sizes, and have great bras. I don't go into those stores complaining they dont have my size, so the same should go for you all.
I was recently in the Little Rock, Arkansas at Park Plaza Mall Store over the Holidays, I was treated like trash by three girls at the register, I shop in this store every year at this time, getting the free bags after u purchase $60.00, I usually spend 400-500 dollars and I have two girls so I get two bags. I have done this every year for 7 years, and never had a problem. Instead of the girls explaning this before hand that it was changed, to only purchasing 1 bag per person, they embarrassed me and were very very rude. Only to find out, after waiting on a friend to come out, I saw ONE girl come out with TWO bags that I was told u could not do that. I was furious, I asked the girl how did she get TWO bags and she told me "My Home Girl fixed me up". This ruined my whole day of shopping, thinking that this store would not be racially discriminating against me because I wasn't "the home girl" that they knew. I am white and I feel like this was held against me for this, and I did not have their Connection. I would hope that there will be percussions on this kind of treatment to your customers. I am on your mailing list and from now on I will travel 30min out of my way to go to a different Victorias Secret, maybe haven't decided if I would want to spend my hard earning money for treatment like this.
i love your sexy adds. Being bold and sexy is a part of every womans life.
I was shopping in a Victoria's Secret store in Portland, Oregon, Clackamas Town Center, and a store clerk harassed me by following me everywhere and watching me as if I was going to steal something. I'm sure they get their fair share of theft, but there was no need to follow me like a dog and have the store associate pretend to arrange merchandise, when she had just done so five minutes before. So I played along and made the gluing associate follow me to the back of the store, then the front. She gave me sly looks the entire time, and as I was leaving, it seems that customers aren't the only ones to be treated like criminals, because one of the employees who was leaving had to get her bag checked, which was extremely humiliating to watch. Get your act together VS, and treat people with respect! We don't want to buy our undies from a fancy police station!
