2011 Prius Design Flaw
The 2011 Prius hatchback has a major design flaw. The trunk when opened in the garage does not clear the garage door. If the garage door is opening while the trunk is opened, it will cause severe damage, in my case the spoiler rack was torn completely off.
Faulty Headliner
I just purchased a 2013 Avalon XLE. I love the car, however, I can't believe that a $36,445 flagship vehicle would have an issue such as the headliner falling down where it meets the rear window. It is not only falling down but has a bent crease in the middle at the back end as well where it meets the rear window. C'mon Toyota! You have got to be kidding me. I had to let the dealer know of the problem. The one they have on the showroom floor has the same problem. Unbelievable. How does something like this get past quality control? The problem is all over the internet and should hurt Toyota's reputation. Can I please be notified when a decision is made as to how Toyota will handle this poor situation to be in for not only anyone who buys a new car but also for someone who has spent almost a third of what my house is worth. Pretty sad.
Tacoma Rust
Bought a used 2001 Tacoma found out the frame was rusted. Called Toy Customer Service, given case # and told in would be replaced if dealer deemed it necessary. Dealer evaluated truck and concluded the frame needed replaced. Now I am getting run-around from Cust Service and a Toyota Regional Office that actually ok's the replacement of the frame. Long story short, if not remedied, I will NEVER purchase another Toyota!

i own a 02 tacoma and the leaf spring shackle weld to the frame rotted and snapped my neighbor had the the same thing and he was the 2nd owner like me and my tacoma i am the 2nd owner and before i bought my truck it had never been sent in to be sprayed and neither was my neighbor's Toyota gave him a check and bought it back from something called I S G buy back program and your service staff told me my truck was not sprayed there is nothing that toyota can do for me. but toyota bought back my neighbor's truck and his wasn't sprayed either so you guys are helping some people that have an issue and not other people that have the same issue that is very unprofessional and messed up i have a lawyer from the boston superior district court that said that i have a really good lawsuit against toyota and i will make this Global and on the news so please do the right thing and help me
poor customer service
Boch Toyota in Norwood has the worst customer service ever!!!! First they couldn't find my paperwork when I went back to finance the car. Second the front desk staff was painting their nails and I was told to take a seat when I went in to pick up my car. Third the front desk staff never told the sales associate I was there to pick up the NEW CAR. My children and I waited for 40 mins we counted 20 people walking around doing nothing never got the car. Worst of all the GM at Boch is the same way. When you have an issue they don"t care its all about their number of sales and the money not the customer. Stay clear of BOCH TOYOTA
Round Rock Toyota - Questionable Service
I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna which has 200,000+ miles on it. I have maintained my vehicle every step of the way and had NO major issues until having it serviced at Round Rock Toyota in Texas. Twice now I have taken my car for service at the Round Rock Toyota dealership for something other than a simple review and oil change and both times I had to bring it back within days for other issues never previously reported resulting in at least $1,000 each time. I honestly think this dealership should be watched. There has to be some kind of scam going on here! After 8 years of working with them, I will not be going back!!
Venza
I have owned my 2012 Venza for a year now. It has 15000 miles. The radio and panal around the climate controls has either faded, discolored and chipping. I have contacted Lakeland Toyota and corporate (Mike at Lakeland and Jeffery Moore at corporate.) I have been told since it works will not cover it under warranty. It is the lotions and finger nail polish my wife wears causing this. So everyone that owns a toyota, if you wear lotion or finger nail polish ensure you put on gloves to drive. Toyota has just lost a 12 year, 5 car customer for life. Hello Ford

I had this car for 2 months and it's making a clunking noise underneath......great now I have to waste my day going to the dealership. This is the reason I bought a new car........so I wouldn't have problems.....I have bought toyotas for the last 13 years ....I'll look into Honda next time
I have been trying to speak to a human for over 30 minutes and still can not get an operator. It goes to a loop. A very unsatisfied customer.
Camry
I have a Camry that just rolled 285,000 miles and still runs excellent. I travel 67.4 miles to work one way and reday to buy another Camry to finish me out until I retire.
2013 toyota corella sport
after owning my new car for 3 months i am starting to have lots of problems with the motor when you take off from a stop it accelerates then goes to a idle then picks up and goes like it is suppose too it only does it once and awhile my dealership in winterhaven florida said the computer says nothing is wrong so you are liying nothing is wrong with this car I have almost been rear ended 3 times after haveing toyotas in are family since the 1970`s this is it for me this dealership I cant even trust to change my oil the service dept SUCKS never again will I trust toyota they wont even give a loaner car they make my wife wait Winter haven toyota did alot of lying to get me to believe in them sure hope I dont get killed driveing this car.
PALM BEACH TOYOTA BAD SERVICE
I purchase a used certified Toyota camary 07 not knowing that this car had a leaking oil problem after having this car for 2 months i realized it but every time called and complain or even if i would take it to Palm beach Toyota for a regular oil change the staff at that dealer would always say it's normal for a car to burn oil its been a year that i have this car and still the same problem no body has even try to help I think Toyota's corporate and owner at palm beach Toyota should gather up and fix all this problem because if i wanted to purchase a car with this type of problem i would have went in purchase it at some cheap dealer don't won't stand against there name..... but i really can't believe this they won't even except the fact knowing that they sold me a bad car and help fix it all they want is your money I would not in a million years recommended palm beach Toyota

BAD SATELLITE RADIO INSTALLATION
had satellite radio system installed in 2007. was told it was the first one installed in a 4-runner at that location . Satellite radio starting cutting out in the middle of songs. Took in many many times to get fixed but nobody could fix it. It has been virtually unused because of this problem. decided to contact toyota again to resolve it. they spent several weeks trying to figure out what to do. i received a phone call last week from service manager that it is called buffering and is common. I have seen several satellite radio systems in my friends cars and they never cut out. Who pays 2500 for a Sirius satellite system and is ok with it cutting out frequently. I'm sure they would not keep it if it was in their cars.
2006 Avalon XLS Engine Problem
I have owned three Toyotas previously and have driven them until each had between 250,000 to 300,000 miles with very little problems I bought them pre owned. In 2006 I bought my first New Toyota. I was so excited I expected the same service from it that I had with my previous cars. I changed my oil religiouly it was garage keep and I drive my responsibly .But for some (at this point unknown) reason my engine which is a V6 has gotten out of time and I am looking at having it replaced with only 95,000 miles.

Avoid Atlantic Toyota service they don't stand by there work can't solve problems and walk you in circles when you have an issue with your vehicle all they want is your money.
Extended Warrenty
Toyota miss represented a warranty coverage on my 2006 toyota tundra. Toyota said that the warrenty was a win win coverage. If I did not submit a clame during the coverage period I would receive my investment back and if I needed to use the warranty it was available for the coverage. But I did not use the coverage so there for Toyota should reimbursement my investment back. Which is 1795.00.
No Service
Call to complain about the service I was getting from the dealership. Got no help what so ever. I have purchased 3 Toyota cars but will not purchase another one. EVER!!!! SELLINGTHE ONE I HAVE!!!!
Joyride behind my back.
Yesterday, I brought my car to Prestige Toyota in Ramsey, NJ, to fix the condensation forming in one of my tail lights. After a few hours, I came back, looked at my car and I noticed this big dent and fresh scrapes by my wheel and part of my rim was chipped off. I called the dealership immediately to let them know what happened but I was replied with "they drove it around the block to test it"... Test what? They obviously took my car out for a joy ride.. The manager of the dealership did not take this situation seriously. I don't ever recommend this dealership as well as their service department. Toyota, you failed me.
Thoroughly enjoyed my 2004 Echo (recently totaled). Wish Toyota would make this car again.
