I thought with Walmart turning against Paula Deen, that Target would be behind her and would revel financially in all the customers that once shopped at Walmart, and that they would all come to Target. I am so disappointed in Target.

I am 75 yrs. old. You should not have cut off Paula Dean from your shelves at Target. The American public should decide, if we want to purchase her products or not. This is not 1950's Russia. You would be smart, to put her back on your shelves.

I really loved shopping at Target, will No Longer due to what they are doing to Paula Deen. It's so wrong! She's free to say whatever she wants. The sad part is this was 30 years ago, she admitted to it, and she was sorry for it. It's the media and liberals who are making this such a racist issue. Leave our successful lady alone. Everyone needs to look within- who hasn't said something they didn't regret? Geeze..people! What's this world coming to?

Target's decision to drop Paula Deen certainly shows cowardice and small mindedness. However, what else would the public expect from the company that cannot utter the words "MERRY CHRISTMAS" or allow the Salvation Army to collect donations for the poor. Target's top brass needs to man up and cut out the operating in fear of NOT pleasing everyone! What about a mea culpa on your part?

TARGET, you made a big, big mistake when you treated Paula Dean the way that you have! I enjoy shopping at Target. My problem is that every time we are asked of the "Red Card." I have one but prefer not to use on small purchases. Is the Red Card Target's only mission or satisfying customer service? I know the cashiers are doing their job but is there another way to introduce your Red Card to guest and not the ones that are loyal? Sometimes I feel it is becoming borderline harassment. We understand the savings of using the Red Card but to be constantly confronted makes one shop elsewhere.

Shame on Target for dropping Paula Dean ! I can only assume that you will be getting rid of all the racist hip hop music that you sell. I would have thought you would have had more class ! I will be doing my business elsewhere . I am guessing that NO one in your corporate headquartes ever used a racial slur . I hope your stores take a beating for doing this.

I am extremely disappointed that Target made the decision to drop Paula Dean. It is too bad that I can no longer shop at my favorite store.

I've always been a Target fan, but now I'm totally ashamed of Target. How dare your Corporation judge a person the way you did. Apologize to Paula Deen and bring her stuff back to your shelves. No ones perfect in this world, she deserves forgiveness and a second chance. I just spent $94 on Paulas website ordering some cookware. Boy did you just lose out!

Because of your attitude towards Paula Deen, I will no longer shop at any of your stores. Companies like yours, striving for PC are absolutely out-of-control!

I am not shopping Target any longer because you dropped Paula Deen products. Poor business judgement and I guess you don't want my business any more because you acted so quickly without hearing all the details or waiting for an outcome of that frivolous lawsuit from a disgruntled ex-employee. I would like to say that as of today I am ending my ties with target. I will no longer buy anything from that store due to the dropping of paula Deen. You won't get any more of my money.

I will no longer shop at target due to you dropping Paula Dean. She has apologies for what she did. We all make mistakes. I can not believe you dropped her in the first place. Big mistake. If enough of your costumers stop shopping at Target, you too can be brought down. Your job is to sell products and keep your costumers happy. I, along with many others, am completely disgusted with Targets decision to cancel Paul Deen about something that happened so many years ago, when it was acceptable to use that language.

Since Walmart and Target dropped Paula Deen, I fully expect them to remove all hip hop and rap CD's that contain the same word and that are also racist against whites.

Now that Target has made the sensational decision to dump Paula Deen I assume Target will now also discontinue Quentin Tarantino films for his creation of Django which uses the N-word a total of 113 times. I assume Target will also discontinue hiphop and rap CDs which also use the N-word. I trust Target will make the right decision this time.
