Aweful service...lost a customer FOREVER!!!
Expect less, Pay more. Ought to be the slogan. Had the last straw with this company tonight. I ordered my 21mo old nephew a sit-n-spin for christmas on the 19th of Dec. guess what...he still hasn't gotten his package as of today. Why? The package got lost in transit. I never received an email stating it was delayed or anything. I had to call to find out where it was. It was shipped from and lost in Kentucky on the 19th. the package was supposed to have been at its destination by 12/24/12. There have been many many many other issues that contributed to this loss of a customer. This company has lost a customer forever! Very disappointed! P.S...these arent all of the details on this situation.

I find target a very clean place. I think their prices are a little to to high, walmart is not as clean but the prices to me are a lottle cheaper. I don't like their return ploicy I bought my son sweat pant so I thought and their were not the right ones( Xmas present ) He took them back 12/26/12 looked for the right one's could find "any they would not give his money back the manager said truff S--. will not shop there again.

I shop with Amazon online most of the time because they usually offer the most competitive prices. Something I was looking for Target had for $6 less and I was both excited and happy to purchase it. While it was in my cart (5 minutes before!), I chose to continue shopping to check if Target carried a particular ds game for my son and when I went back to my cart (again, 5 min later) to check out, the price of the first item went up to $25/regular price! When I googled it it still came up for $18.99 from Target but as soon as I selected the link it took me to the Target website where it shows it for the $24.99 price. This is ridiculous and I'm super irritated. There is no reason the price should have gone up $6 while I was purchasing unless Target just likes to mess with their customers and change the prices as items are added to their cart. Update: Well, I spent a total of 2 hours today on the phone today with Target guest service and even spoke to a supervisor at the end trying to resolve the $6.00 issue. $6.00! No help was provided, I was called a liar by the supervisor and now I think your company is HORRIBLE!!! I hope the $6.00 was worth losing a customer for life. I will be telling EVERYONE I come across to place an order ANYWHERE online other than Target. P.s I was a team member for almost 3 years and I CAN'T believe how awful your (poor attempt at) customer service is now! I will be posting my experience ANYWHERE I can online. I will not be shopping with Target again. Period. Good riddance! P.s This is after trying every possible avenue to get help. No one has helped me. I've been called a liar, I've been lied to and I have gotten zero responses back from anyone. Why would anyone want to shop from a company like yours when you obviously don't care about your customers and only think of the bottom line (money) is beyond me.
Unplugged
BEWARE! My daughters received internet gift cards from Target for Christmas. When we went to redeem them we were told to go to target.com to activate them. Then the activated bar code would be sent to a smartphone with data which would be scanned by the cashier. Very stupid. There are still people that don't have computers or mobile phones. I've not seen e-gift cards from other stores do this. There is usually a bar code and/or number on the printed certificate. Target can not just type in the # off the printout. Luckily, we had activated internet on their phones the day before and after some time were able to figure out how to do it. NOT EVERYONE HAS INTERNET ON THEIR PHONE. I don't. Could not find a review site on target.com. With all the bad reviews I’ve read I know why. They don’t care. Most businesses today bend over backwards to keep their customers. I hope they lose the battle for business in this economy. I didn't like Target before and now I'll never go back.
TARGET IS HORRIBLE! -10 stars!
I ordered a Ranger Pillow Pet on line (not available in stores) on Dec 22nd. Understood that I would have to wait due to the holidays. I received the much anticipated "Target box" on Jan 2nd. Very excited, but very disappointed when we opened the box. The shipping invoice stated the correct item but the item in the box was not what I ordered. Called customer service and all I got was a run around. Spoke to two people, one named Rhonda who would not give me her last name, but said she was the corporate manager! She was sorry for my inconvenience but the only thing she would do for me was give me a $5.00 gift certificate for my trouble. Mind you, I have to print up a return receipt on my paper with my ink, pack up the WRONG item, drive it to UPS with my gas, receive a credit when they receive it. Had to charge my credit card again and we have to wait 5-7 business days to receive the correct one, which is obviously not guaranteed! Needless to say I cancelled my order! They do absolutely nothing for customer service!!!!!!!! NEVER SHOP TARGET!
I received a coupon in the mail for 50% off NOOK HD or HD + accessory. I was very excited about this because I have a disease that affects my joints, especially in my hands and I find it painful to hold a book. Well after trying to order on line and having the code not work, I called customer service. I was told that the coupon was a misprint and should have read 50% of accessories. I told them that they needed to honor the coupon and not penalize the customer for a printing error and was hung up on. When I called back I was told that I needed to be educated on how to read the coupon. I think Target needs to be educated about how to treat customers. Bad customer service equals loss of money.
Rain boots
I am a single mom working hard to get my kids christmas gifts. I order seashore rain boots for my daughter. I received fur boots that are not even her size. I am in tears :'( Target said there is nothing they can do to get me the rain boots in time and they said the refund will not go through for 10 days. Christmas is 5 days. I now have nothing to give my little girl and no money either. Good thing Jesus is the reason for the season. This just is not right :'( and I will NEVER shop at target again. I would not even give one star if it would allow me.

My husband purchased a IPOD 16G for our daughter as a Christmas gift on 10/31/12. Our daughter asked from Santa for a IPOD5. The IPOD has not been opened and I have the receipt. I tried to return the IPOD to purchase the more expensive IPOD and Target said they could not return it. I called Target customer service and got the same answer. I was told that if I purchased it on 11/1/12 and not 10/31/12 I could of returned it. If the IPOD was discontinued I could understand but Target actively still sells the IPOD I want to return. I will not longer be a customer at Target and will take my money elsewhere.

I ordered a vanity but received a baby swing. It is two weeks until Christmas. Target will not refund my money until I print out my return shipping label, put the baby swing into my car, find my nearest UPS store, send the baby swing back, have the warehouse receive it and do their paperwork to refund my money. The paper on the box was my correct order but it was taped to a baby swing. This was their mistake and I am having to fix the problem along with not having my granddaughters wishes of a vanity for Christmas. Please don't shop at Target until they can show improvement in treating their customer's fairly. I won't have the money to purchase another item...thanks Target and Have a wonderful Christmas.
Shipping
Placed an order that showed shipping for the item two weeks before Christmas and now it won't be here until after Christmas. Customer service states the order can't be cancelled. Every other online shopping can be. Why not target? Maybe because you know your service stinks and this is the only way to keep customers? Your Target.com is the WORST on line shopping! I will not shop at target again. There is no customer service at all just a bunch of sorry people. Total disappointed in Target. I'd give you a -5 stars.
WOW! I am not the only one that is having issues. I ordered two shark steam mops. It was shipped on the 11/23 and received on 11/29. The problem: there was only 1 not 2 that was shipped. My order says "2 item[s] will arrive in 1 package " but only 1 shark was delivered in its own packaging. It was not in another box but just its own package with the shipping label on the end. I called the "customer service" once and was told I needed to wait until the 5th for the package to be delivered. I called today the 7th and need to wait three days after the expected delivery date. I can't get them to understand that there is no package to be delivered since it already was delivered with only 1. I am getting the run around with the customer service. They said that when I call back tomorrow (cause it is three days after the possible delivery date) they would give me a refund. I don't want a refund I want the other mop. This is CRAZY!
Samsung Galaxy III
Completely DISGUSTED with Target!!! Gift book mailer advertised SAMSUNG GALAXY III for $199.99 no where on the as did it link this price to a 2yr contact!!! However, after going to th the store with the ad...not only did the Kiosk and store manager refuse to Honor the as but also Corporate refused!!! This is called a case of "FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!" But also misleading customers to get then into the store!!! Lets sees what my local News stations have to say when I call and send them the AD!!!!
I ordered two portable DVD players on cyber monday for my grandchildren, one pink and one blue. i received a confirmation e-mail and a few days later another e-mail saying that the pink one was on it's way but the blue one would be delayed and a request from me to approve the delay on the blue one. i was okay with that since it seemed that i would still receive the blue one by Christmas. The pink one came right on time and a few days later i received yet another e-mail saying the blue one was no longer available and Target cancelled my order. i got right on the phone to request that they send me another color at the sale price since at this point it was no longer on sale on the website. I was told that would not be possible because the store policy did not allow them to price match cyber Monday prices on cancelled orders. I reminded them that i did not cancel the order, they did but my argument fell on deaf ears. I will be returning the pink DVD player to the Target store and will take my business elsewhere. Target has terrible customer service.
Received Wrong Bike
I placed an order online on 11/23/12 for a Mossy Oak Bike for my son for Christmas and today 12/4/12 I receive a Schwinn Model 700C M Median. My question is .. who quality checks the item before shipping it! The picture is on the side of the box and doesn't even match to what is on the packing list. Then when I call, I have to ship it back before you give my my refund and then I have to re-order and hope that it gets here before Christmas and lets hope its the right BIKE! Looks like the last time I use Target.com!

I go to your store in Foothill Ranch, CA. The store that is at Portola Parkway. For the past several months there have been people out soliciting for donations on your property just outside the store exit. I have stopped going to Target because of this and will do all of my shopping elsewhere from now on. The last time I was in this particular Target there was a sign that said no soliciting, but the sign was inside the store and all the way to the right of the exit doors. It does no good to have the sign INSIDE and NOT NOTICEABLE! These solicitors were supposedly asking for donations for homeless shelters but the previous week the same people were there soliciting for battered women.....Please do something about this!!!!!
Online Order
I ordered 2 items on Nov 27th of 2012 and have not received them as of Dec 3rd. Estimated delivery time was Nov-28-30 and still not here. Call the on-line support team only to be told wait til the 4 of December. Ups doesn't have the item since the tracking info has not been received and Target insists that Ups has it. The reps from the Philippines and Nicaragua say that they are being shipped from Michigan to the closes Ups facility where i live. Well its a 2 day drive to my city from Michigan and that's going 40 miles per hour. Please don't order from target on line.
Horrible Customer service and manager
We went into the store a few weeks ago and wanted to purchase a steam mop on sale. Of course you were out of them, so instead we got a rain-check. My husband and I have been calling everyday for about 2 weeks and we are always told the same thing, we get a shipment in on these days. We call on those "said days" and you still don't have them. I called last night and you told me that you had one left and that it would be held for me. I went completely out of my way, to go pick it up. We get there and you guys tell me you made a mistake, and that you didn't have one. You also told me to go pick out a different mop and that you would substitute it for the same price. We spent 35-40 minutes trying to figure out another one. The mops that were the same price were not even close to the quality of the one we wanted. We went up a step in price and of course that one wasn't stocked either. So found another one that we liked. We took it up front and we were then told that we couldn't have that mop for the same price now, we were just told to find another one to replace it for the SAME PRICE!!! The manager told me she could just give me a "discount off" or drive to another store to get it. #1 I called and you said you had it, I had an appt to be at but had time to get it, but you wasted my time and gas #2 you never even apologized for my inconvenience, the only words you repeated were "I can't" and #3 I spend THOUSANDS of dollars there every year on my products and that's not including the money I spend of my prescriptions as target is my pharmacy as well. So unprofessional.
Black Friday Order
I ordered 6 items from target.com to be shipped to 2 addresses with my red card! I noticed on the invoice printed and my email that one of my addresses did not include the apartment number I included! I called ordering.. and asked the lady to look to make sure the apartment was on the addresses were correct and that the apartment number was on the one address to be sent to.. she saw the apartment number on the order. I said then nothing needs to be done the order is correct I just wanted to make sure the apartment was on the one order. A week later nothing in my email about delivery etc. I go to target to look up the order number in my email and it does not find that order number! I call Target again.. they cannot find the number but found the order by my name it was left unsent by the representative that looked up the address to see if the apt was included. The order never sent. Then when they tried to input the order it was no longer available. 4 of the 6 items were not available online! He transferred me to level 2 to reorder the items at the Black Friday prices. Blam I was disconnected. I called again and a different person answered all through the same look ups numbers etc and transferred blam I was disconnected from target when transferred. Trial 3 I tell the lady I have been disconnected every time I am sent to level 2 and she said they were closed call later.. It now is 7:35pm I said what time do they close she said 11pm I said Where the heck are you? cause 7:35pm PST is 10:35pm on the east coast they would have to be in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean to be closed!!! She put someone else on the phone.. I could now only get 2 of the 6 items and those 4 not included were not at Black Friday prices but regular prices but they are now not available online!!!!!!!!! She orders the 2 items and supposedly gets the discount but the numbers are not right I am billed more. I am to get a 5% discount for using my red card and the item was discounted through Black Friday and numbers do not match! Shipping Free with my red card. The 4 items I ordered on Black Friday not available now online only allowed in store are according to the superviser not available to me I would have to Go from California to North Carolina to pick them up in the store to give them to my daughters! UGH! I am still not sure they are billing me right as this is such a major mess up I am so exhausted. My husband came home and ordered the 4 items immediately through Walmart with no problems and CHEAPER AS THE 4 ITEMS I LOST BECAUSE YOUR ORDER LADY LOOKING UP THE APARTMENT NUMBER LEFT THE ORDER OPEN AND DID NOT CLOSE IT FOR ORDERING. TARGET HAD NO IDEA I ORDERED THEM AT ALL! Because your customer service left the items un ordered when she looked up the apartment number!!!!!
Charged Me Twice :(( Shame on You Target
On Black Friday, I purchased from Target.com one order. When I looked at my online banking this morning I saw where Target withdrew the same amount TWICE out of my banking account. I called the 800 number for billing and I talked to Nathan (which I cannot understand half of what he is saying) however he did tell me that it IS Target's policy that they charge the total amount twice and it will stay that way for 7-10 days and then I would see the extra charge would be gone. COME ON NOW!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING???? After I became very upset he continued to say that I'm not the only one this has happened to that everyone who ordered this also happened to them and they all understand and are just patient for the extra charge to be taken off. I hardly believe that!!!! After I hung up with him I call the corporate office and speak to a very nice lady Giselle (I think that was her name. I could definitely understand her) whom told me that what Nathan told me was in fact not correct. It is not Target's policy to charge twice for the same order. She advised me to contact my bank and dispute the second charge because she only showed from her side that they charged me once. Now I'm taking time out of my busy day to go to my bank to fill out a dispute form. Just to make sure this never happens again, I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM TARGET.COM AGAIN!!!!!!!
I have been a loyal Target pharmacy customer for over five years and have seen the service and employee attitude plummet in the past few months. I am a retired heart patient who takes eight prescription and four over-the-counter medications every day, I rely on the pharmacist and staff to help manage my health and well being. "Management" recently did a shuffle among their pharmacists (I understand this is now routine corporate policy to prevent key employees from getting too familiar with the customer base and transfer responsibility/accountability to employees who are no longer around to defend themselves. . Since the "move" I have run out of medicines five times (in six months). All meds are on auto-refill, but that doesn't matter. The pharmacist blames my doctor. Never happened before, but now it's easier to pass the blame. Filed two complaints to Target corporate office with NO response. The one thing I did notice is the degradation of employee attitude. Looks like Walgreen is going to get a new customer.
