Worst customer service and record keeping
My daughter recently went to college and was having all sorts of issues with T-Mobile service so I called and they said it would be fixed and there would be no charge for the roaming and drop calls. This continued for three months and each time they said it was fixed. only later to find out that the real problem was that there is not 3G or 4G in the area as they advertised and what I am paying for. I was told my several managers/supervisors that there would be no charge to terminate the contract since quality service could not be provided by T-Mobile. Well that was not true nor did anyone attempt to make notations to the account in reference to my call and waiving the fee. So here we are after I chose to terminate the account for less than adequate service I am being billed for closing one of my accounts. Remember this is only because the phone doesn't work in the area and nothing can be done about it. T-Mobile has the worst customer service and reliability of all the companies out there calls continue to drop and they offer no legitimate reasons. I would not recommend them to anyone, I would tell people it is a joke and the charges are not even reasonable.
I've just been reading all the negative reviews of T-Mobile, and i have another one. I cancelled my account 7 days into a new billing cycle, and waited for my final prorated bill, which came with a full month's billing, instead of the prorated amount. I called them to have this corrected, and they said to me that their policy is that all final bills are for the full monthly amount, not for a prorated amount. How convenient for them! Apparently their policy condones stealing my money for a service that I did not use. Very glad I have cancelled my account.
samsung s iii 4G recall
A recent phone and plan order was changed by T-Mobile increasing my cost without contacting me. To make matters worse, I have chosen a phone which is not actually available. I hope Samsung has not decided to stop shipments or to recall the S iii 4G
lm not happy with t mobil plan
I'm sending this message to T mobil because I am very disappointed with them. the first month I was happy with my phone and my plan but after 3 months I have charges that I do not understand because Im always giving excuses .I have charges for Two applications that I've had from the beginning and now is when lm being charged. EVERYTHING IS LIE."
This is the worst company in the entire world! They opened an account with out my permission after a sales guy bothered to run my credit for his sales specials. Never purchased any equip. Never opened any acct. Sales rep left acct open status 6 months later receiving bills which is amazing since never had any service now collection bills. No one seems to know what the other is doing suppose to have been fixed 5 days after problem 6 months later on creidt report NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DISHONEST SALESPEOPLE
A FEW WEEKS AGE I PURCHASED 2 SIM CARDS FROM T-MOBILE AND WAS TOLD BY THE SALESPERSON THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO USE THEM IN MY AT&T PHONE&NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR PLAN FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH. WHEN I GOT THE SIM CARDS I PUT THEM IN MY PHONE TO THEN FIND OUT I WOPULD HAVE TO PRE PAY THEM, SO I DID. 2 OF THEM FOR $60 EACH. AFTER PURCHASING THE CARDS AND FILLING THEM I KEPT HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE PHONE'S NETWORK NOT BEING AVAILABLE SO I CALLED T-MOBILE A 4TH TIME AND THEN WAS TOLD I NEED TO CONTACT AT&T TO HAVE THE PHONE UNLOCKED. AT&T WILL NOT UNLOCK THE PHONES UNTIL DEC AND THE PLAN I PURCHASED IS FOR NOV. T-MOBILE WILL NOT REFUND OR EXTEND MY PLAN TO DEC SO I AM OUT OF POCKET $120. I ASKED SEVERAL T-MOBLE REPS IF THERE WOULD BE ANY PROBLEM USING A T-MOBILE SIM IN AN AT&T PHONE AND WAS REASSURED SEVERAL TIMES THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE FINE. ONCE MY DEBIT CARD WAS CHARGED AND PROBLEMS REMAINED THEN THE TRUTH CAME OUT. THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL SALES TACTICS AND UNFAIR. THEY ARE LEGALLY ROBBING PEOPLE!
t mobile does not pay there own bills when building their own facilities to sell you there products.We are a concrete company that just recently finished a facility in the Bronx New York.The Location is at corner of Boston rd & Eastchester ave .3490 Boston rd Bronx New York is the exact address,After we finish the job according to the specifications of the General Contractor who T Mobile hired and now open to the public selling there products.Has not paid there final payment,also has had bounce check payments. T Mobile is not taking any part in trying to get my money .Vertex corp. of Staten Island New York is the contractor T Mobile hires. T mobile does not care how they get there product out to the public
Also we have been a customer of Tmobile for over 10 years so they will be loosing 3 customers .... They at one point had good customer service .... But somewhere in the past 4 years their customer service level went down dramatically.

My ex husband had his phone transferred to a seperate account when we split up. He paid his phone off completely in July 2012. First of all ! The remaining balance for his phone should have transferred to his account immediately - it did not. I continiued to pay for his monthly installments. I called T-moblie customer service and asked them to remove this from my bill. Said they would...months later I find out I am still paying for his phone. He paid his phone off completely in July 2012 and t-mobile continues to bill me. When I complained about this I was told "We cannot help that the phone was paid off using his account but you have 9 more payments to make! What the H _ _ _!!!!!!!! They refuse to take this off of my billing stating it has not been paid when all they have to do is look at his account. Then customer service tells me she cannot pull up his account. Come on liars and theives - go rob a bank - not ME!
No stars! I am having a very difficult time due to a very bad employee of T-mobile. I went into the store in Torrance (Crenshaw and Sepulveda) where Andrew was supposed to set me up with the no contract 4G plan for my iphone (free talk/text/web) for $50 flat a month. I spoke to him and he said that there was no such program happening despite the big poster on the window saying the same program that I wanted. I desperately needed a phone so he convinced me to sign up for a 2 year contract and he waived the initial fee, and he said to come back in the next month and cancel it. He guaranteed that he'll cancel it for me, no problem. I liked the idea of being able to use my phone right away and I said okay because it gave me the time to speak to my husband about what he wanted to do with our phones. My husband is a soldier and was overseas so I was waiting for him to come back. Anyways, Andrew signed me up and the fee was not supposed to be very expensive, he guaranteed it. Low and behold, I get a massive bill the next month. I end up going to the store almost every single day for weeks because Andrew is giving me a roundabout story and just stalling. I go to another T-mobile store (San Pedro, on Gaffey) and he tells me that what Andrew did was wrong and he cancelled my plan and set me up with the 4G plan that I had originally wanted. Regardless, I still had this huge bill that I had to pay. So I paid most of it and a remainder of $50 was left. I go back to the store and I speak to Andrew about the $50, he says that he'll pay me for that as long as I don't report him to his manager. I felt sorry for him so I said ok and left. Days pass and he's still giving me the runaround so I call his manager and tell her what is going on. Meanwhile, T-mobile is calling my sister and mom every single day and hassling them for the $50...life was quite miserable during this time. My sister gives them my current number (T-mobile number!) and tells them to call me to discuss it, I NEVER get a call from them. I call Andrews manager Bridgette and tell her what happened. She calls her higher ups and said that they agreed to clear the $50. Phone calls stop. I think that everything cleared up. Fast forward a year later (now). I apply for a home loan because I found my dream home. I get DENIED and find that my perfect 789 credit score is ruined to below 600 because I have something at collections. It was that $50 that Andrew was supposed to pay me, or that T-mobile was supposed to clear for me. I ended up paying more than $200 for 1 month of phone service. I am so frustrated beyond belief, this issue has been ongoing for over a year, and many nights I've stayed up and cried about it. It just won't go away! I wrote to the T-mobile address T-Mobile Customer Relations P.O. Box 37380 Albuquerque, NM 87176-7380. And yes. Never heard back. I spoke to countless customer service reps and of course, they just refer me back to that address. I don't think that anyone checks the mail at that address. My next step is to get my lawyer involved. I regret ever walking into that T-mobile store and ever meeting Andrew. They are a bunch of thieves, I can't believe that T-mobile has gotten awards for customer service when all I see is that they've ruined good people's lives.
I have T-mobile as my phone carrier - I'm under contract until 2014 -- if I quit before then they charge $200 for each line -- so since January every month - my account information has been compromised - someone is ordering replacement phones in my name and they are not returning the damaged phones so my account gets charged - right now these extra charges equal $600 - basically being defrauded - Asurion is the T-mobile Insurance and that is how these phones are being ordered....They actually cancelled my account with Asurion & this is still happening - I want to get away from T-mobile w/o getting charged due to their lack of security & negligence - PLUS god only knows what other information they have obtained on me and my family....also how many others are they doing this too? do u know someone I can talk too?
tHE UNFORTUNATE PART OF tmobile IS THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND RESPECT, unfortunately they do not treat customer the way they are supposed to, they are part of a German company they customer service/managers treat customers they way the NAZI SS treated the Jewish people in WWII (I am Jewish), very bad. The best thing is find another provider. What a bad company to be associated with.
I just started my tmobile service as of 9-24-12.The biggest mistake ever!!! I purchased the galaxy 2 for my husband. After two weeks phone was acting horrible. Called customer service n did the all that technical support required.The next day n the same thing happened.I called to get a NEW replacement phone and guess what no They would only send a refurbished phone.Really?!!My phone hasnt even been a month old but Tmobile still was sending me a USED phone.Guess ,again. I was still having to pay the same price for a new phone but the replacement is used.Does that seem fair?! They could careless over at Tmoblie.The staff orginally claimed I was getting a new phone then come to find out Its LIKE new. The customer service reps are nothing but liars and all Tmobile cares about is the Almighty Dollar!!! When my year is up, I will gladly pay 100 Dollars per line for cancellation fee n be Done with them!!!!
Worst customer service ive ever encountered. ive had to call customer service 4 times this month and each time its been a bad experience. They keep transfering me from pre paid line, to authorization, to customer srvice line. its like they dnt know what theyre doing! or dont have the authoriation to do certain things i dot know its just very frustrating. it shouldnt be that hard to just change my phone number but appearantly it is. i had to spend 45 min on the phone just toget this done.
I have been with t mobile for 6 years and last month my husband got me the t mobile prism phone as a gift, what a disaster it has been. I have 3 replacement phones in the 1 month that he purchased the phone and now my only option was to pay for another phone while I continue paying for the manufacture defective phone that i have. That is ridiculous. The only reason i have agreed to that is because i do not have a house phone. I have to have a phone for my job. I spent 3 hours at the t mobile store this morning only to walk out with the same broken phone and a bill for another phone that is being shipped to me in 3 business days. I was so frustrated after being transferred 5 times on the phone at the store and having to tell my situation to each person that im not even sure exactly what im ending up with. This is not the end of this, i am going to keep on until i get to speak with someone that has the authority to remove that old phone crappy phone from my bill. or going to the better business bureau.
I hate T-Mobile, I have never had anything but bad luck with them. I was with them for 3 years to long. We cancelled out account and went with another cell phone company. T-Mobile is still calling up wanting to charge us each month. I have called and called and was told everything is ok. Again another call today. They want me to pay for number that they do not have a right to. If I get one more call I will take them to court.
The people I have spoke with have been very nice and polite (for the most part) but their policies (the scripts that their employees must read) are completely ridiculous. I ported my numbers from T-Mobile to another carrier due to the fact that they could not fix the issues that I was having with the phone. They provided 2 replacement phones (same make and model) over the period of a month but the issue persisted. The issue was with their network/software/lack of upgrades/etc and they would not provide a different model phone. They also are currently charging me for services that were not rendered and are refusing to prorate my final bill based on the date that I ported my numbers out of their system. I was under no contract at the time that this has all taken place and they are still trying to hold me responsible for these services. I have never been more disgusted with a company than I am with T-Mobile.
t mobile i the worst,I have been with them for years and I had it my contracts were over I called to cancel my service and this people insted of canceling renewed the contract when i recived my bill i imedietly called, i told them that it was a mistake that my catract was over and i canceld 3 lines they said it was renewed not canceld it was their mistake but their was nothing they could do about it and now their charging me over 400dlls for their mistake to cancel their cantract iam so upset , cant belive such a big company would do such crime cause they are robbing you in plain sight and admited it was their mistake but they wont do nothing about it ........ if some one can help plz let me know
No Stars! The WORST customer service!!!! Sales people on my area told me they never recommend Tmobile due to the customer service. I bought my start up kit last night 10/15/12, phones did not activate called to find out what the issue is and was treated so disrespectfully, by 2 associates and a supervisor!! it is causing me physical pain how upset I am. Needless to say I will not be remaining with Tmobile and I will be sharing my story with EVERYONE I come in contact with. DO NOT USE TMOBILE FEDUP
T Mobile is about the only company that does not allow you to contact corporate. What are they hiding from? Oh, I know! Is it their AWESOME service? No, it can't be because they don't have it. Is it their billing and errors? Could very well be. Read all the delightful comments about this company on the internet. I gave them one star as this is the only way to post.
