Fun place but trying to be a professional and making a career in management is unbelievably upsetting. I have never before experienced a poorer group of procrastinators and buck passer like this human resource department or district management team. They all love to promote and back each other and praise the company however, when it comes down to a simply telephone call or keeping a professional promise to finish a task set up, suddenly arise all the excuses, lies and red flags and they seem to appear out of the blue, just to save their behinds. If I were upper level management in this corporation, I would serious take a look at how to teach management in this chain to close the loop. Look many of us simply do not care when we are passed up for a position, but when it takes a 18 days for a so called super district manager to follow up with a possible GM,when in fact you were told 2-3 days and then be tossed in the trashed as if you have no significance after a 2 hour interview with praise, is astonishing. I was told I was a finalist and that I would go through the entire interview process (5 Stages) and I simply made it past the awful recruiter, who could do nothing but make excuses and the district manager (the hiring person), who simply felt a few trite emails would do the trick and make me disappear. What a joke Fridays in every way! The poor management wonders why a Restaurant went from $5.2MM to $3.7MM!!! I will tell you why... they do not know how to recruit or treat people properly. They did not even have a job description or a salary scale during interviewing. This is sickening! Just beware of Fridays in the Metropolitan Area in and around the NYC area. Sorry to shed the bad news but it is true. I will tell all family, friends, neighbors and community to try another place.

I went to one of your sites in St Augustine Florida on Monday the 8th, and fond my self very up-set with the way I was treated with a friend of mine. We got there at 2:15pm to find that there was only one waitress and they had three tables of people with three to four people at each table, the host says to me "Im sorry but we can not seat you because we have no one to wait on you, we only have one waitress and she has three tables already" I said your telling me she can not wait on two more people and/or one more table the host said "no she is at her limit and you can come back later" I inform her I would not be back and I would be contacting the manager, "she said she was the manager so dont waist my time" I feel this is some thing I would be looking into if I owned this company and I would not be very happy...

Homophobic comments from customers was repellent, and staff was ignorant or non-reactant (worse) to the occurrence. Almost more irrepressible ... might return to determine correction ... but bewRe

First let me say I have never been treated so poorly than I was treated tonight at TGIF located on 5th avenue Pittsburgh, Pa. The person who waited on myself my daughter and niece was so rude and unprofessional. He made us feel unwelcome and made no effort to treat as customers. I am a supervisor in a call centrex and have over 30 years of customer service. I know as a customer and as professional what is expected and what I deserve as a customer no matter what the business is. I am so extremely disappointed in the events that occurred tonight. I will never return to that location again, and I only live a block away. The mgr only offered to pay for the drinks. Well that was a slap in the face.

My mom, my 2 children, and I visited TGI Friday's in Kalamazoo MI last night. My daughter ordered a steak which she wanted well done. It was medium. They brought it back after 15 minutes burnt to a crisp. I ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp. The platter was not sizzling and the shrimp tasted old. It looked nothing like the meal displayed in the menu. We called over the manage and he told me the don't serve the platters "sizzling" anymore because of complaints of burns. Well in my opinion, they shouldn't call it sizzling anymore. My daughter lost her appetite after she took one bite of her over cooked steak. I was highly irritated and unimpressed with the food service, or the manager. I enjoy eating out and rarely make a fuss over food at restaurants, but this was terrible.

Went to TGIF on 34th street, the one down in the train station. To make a long story short. We closed out the tab and asked the thief of a bartender, Crytal, for the bill. She gave us the bill and we put the money on the bar with the bill. Crystal picks up the money with the dishes that were left on the bar. 20 mins. later she says we need to pay the bill. They ended up calling the police, the witch ended up with our money and we ended up paying the bill twice. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANOTHER TGIF AGAIN!!! According to other people that frequently visit the bar, she has done this to many people. It is a damn shame!

Last night my husband took me out to dinner to cheer me up because I have two broken bones in my foot and been wearing this ugly boot forever. We always go to Friday's and have had that best experiences but we had not been there for a while so off we went to have our special date night. We have been married for 25 years so these special dinners are very important to us. It was the worst meal we ever had (I believe the chef's name was Augustine or something like that). My husband and I both ordered 10 oz sirloin with shrimp scampi. we had a Mozzarella appetizer, I had a side house salad, we each had a couple drinks. The Mozzarella sticks were fine but the sauce served with it looked burnt tomato past and we always get them and they are not like that.I also got a side house salad which was good. Our drinks were fine and the server was excellent. Our main meal came out and right away my husband knew his steak was not Medium rare but mine was correct. So my husband sent back the steak but we were told that it would be 8 more minutes before we got another because of other tickets in front of us. I know it don't take 8 minutes to cook a medium rare steak. Meanwhile my meal was already in front of me. The lime slaw was horrible. It had so much salontra in it that you could not taste the Lime what so ever. The rice I got had no seasoning and was bland. My meat was cooked correctly but hard to cut and chew. So by the time my husband got his meal I was almost done mine. 80( The manager came over, Mike, Great guy and very concerned with what was happening. He offered us Free desert but at that point we just wanted to go home. He gave us two cards for free appetizers/deserts on next visit but when I got my bill which was 68.00 with out tip. After we got home I looked at it and they had taken off my husbands meal and put it back on, then i saw the appetizer off which is what Mike said they would do but so confused with the receipt (which i have if you would like me to fax you a copy) I know i should have looked at the receipt before I left but I needed to get my husband out of their before he made a scene, which I did not want. I guess things have changed since we were there last but I will say it changed for the worse. I am telling you this to help you be able to revisit the restaurant in Langhorne, PA 19047 and maybe check out your chef. Mike, your manager spent a lot of time with us and i think he is a great manager and the server was excellent who I gave a 9.00 tip to as well. Today, my girlfriend and I went to Friday's at 4:30 p.m. We sat on the patio and ordered from the Pick 2 menu. I ordered the Parmesan Chicken and my girlfriend ordered the parmesan fish. We got the fried green beans which were wonderful and hot. However, seconds after getting our appetizer or meals arrived. When I tried my tortolini, it was lukewarm so I tried my chicken. It was ice cold. My friend's fish was hot, but her sides were ice cold. We sat and waited for Danielle, our server to come back, and when she didn't, I went inside the restaurant to find her. Another server volunteered to get her for us. We told her of our dilemma, and she asked my friend if she wanted to eat her fish and she would bring her new sides, and she agreed. She said she would get me a whole new meal. In a few minutes, Danielle brought out my friend's sides and told me mine would be a few minutes more. Well, a half an hour later, she finally brought mine after my friend was completely finished eating. At no time did a manager come to our table to apologize. Needless to say, I was shocked when the bill came and absolutely NO discount was given to me for the cold meal and the long wait following for my hot meal to be served. I live just four miles away from Fridays and eat there at least once a month, but will not be doing this in the future. My friend and I were so terribly disappointed! What a shoddy way to run a business!

I was at theTGIF in Woodbridge New Jersey off Route 1. after we were seated it was no more than 5 minutes when a roach came up on top of the table right in front of us I couldn't believe my eyes. needless to say we where is going to eat there. really TGIF roaches in the seating area.

I believe it was in Woodbridge New Jersey on Route 1 or Islein but after we sat down there was a roach that just walked right up on the table we got up and left really roaches in a seating area

I HAD THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE @ FRIDAYS ON ROUTE 1 IN LAUREL, MD!! GOT A "SWEETIE, HONEY, BABY" WAITRESS THAT SERVED US APPETIZRES WITH NO PLATES, SAT IN THE BOOTH TO TAKE OUR ORDER, OVER CHARDGED ME 46$ THEN LIED ABOUT A REFUND THAT WAS NEVER CREATED! MANAGER CAME OUT INTIMIDATING, AT LEAST 6'5 300 SOLID!! STANDING 7 INCHES FROM MY 5'3 155 FRAME. ADVISING HE HAD NO RECORD OF SITUATION & COULD NOT FIX ANYTHING UNTIL THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS!!MY ELDERLY MOTHER WAS STANDING BEHIND HIM WHEN HE WAS ADVISED HE SAID"GLAD U TOLD ME, I WOULD'VE TURNED & KNOCKED HER DOWN!" I ADVISED HIM HE WOULD'VE WENT TO JAIL! THEN HE ADVISED ME AGAIN HE WOULD'VE KNOCKED HER CLEAN DOWN & OUT!!! SAD, SAD, SAD, DAY @ FRIDAY'S!!! SMH!!!! WAIT UNTIL THIS HITS FACEBOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday August 1st, my brother and I decided to visit the TGIF on West End in Nashville TN. My brother placed an order for a shot of Hennessey and I ordered a glass of wine. It took our waiter about 30 minutes to bring our drinks to the table and once he finally did, he had put ice in my brothers drink. I nor anyone else at the resturant or outside of the resturant had ever heard of putting ice in a shot of anything. The waiter had to have left the glass sitting on the bar for awhile because once he brought it to the table the ice had melted and diluted the Hennessey so much that the drink was almost clear (Hennessey is brown). Of course I complained to the waiter as well as the assistant manager and manager and was told that whatever you order whether its right or wrong you have to keep it and pay for it. The manager there named Ryan insisted that the there was nothing wrong with the drink and that there was nothing that he could do about it. He and his assistant as well as his waiter were all very rude and did not try to correct this issue at all. The table behind us informed me that they had come in an hour before us and was told that they could only order appetizers as they were not serving food, but myself and my brother were both served meals. I'm not sure what is wrong with this resturants or it's management, they treat you as if they are doing you a favor, when it's the complete opposite. Owners should be more careful as to whom they choose to hire and run these establishments. I have never filed a complaint against anyone before as I have never been treated this way by anyone, especially when I am spending my hard earned dollars on something. I am going to give their corporate offices a call to find out what they have to say or will do. I am not looking for any free B's, just some type of justice with the situation. Will update.

Fridays employee from Mechanicsville location. I have worked at this Fridays for two years and it's really sad how this store has become. The managers make you sit off the clock when you are scheduled a shift and wait for hours til you can clock in do to labor cost. Natasha one of the managers there actually made me wait for two and three hours to clock in due too high labor then I had to leave and never got paid for my scheduled shift. I hope some higher up managers can fix this because as a valued employee I honestly think this is redictilous how they treat us. When the higher up people come in to check out the restaurants it's like a dog and pony show, so beware of this.

Less then a star. How can u run out of sauce but yet still let us order a dish? Plus the 30 min wait for a tap beer. They brought out 3 dishes and made me wait for my food another 10 minutes and 1 out of the 3 dishes which came out on time was wrong. They gave us the appetizer that we wanted for dinner for free but then charged us for the wrong dinner which was twice the price. We come to Fridays a lot and I never complain but come on... I even have a points card which gives me free chips and salsa well we never got that either with absolutely no explanation but a shrug. Well if u don't know then how the hell would I know. Sorry but this is not how to run a business. Done with TGIFridays.

I come to the cupertino location every other weekend, me and my boyfriend decided to treat his mom amd step dad to a night out. We sit at the locion where we alsways sit, th hostes never once told us we could not sit there. So we sit at our regualr spot and 5 mins later the hostes told us we could not sit here because there is no one on duty. That i do not mind the thing that biggs me is that me and boyfriemd that come almost everyother weekend get told we can not sit in our spot with our family and wait patentnly. Then have the manager be complety rude me. I was a waitress and never did i once tell a customer no you cant not do this, we were always told to make every one happy. Since then i held the same standards when i go places. I do not like this one bit i might as well go to another place to relax and take my in laws.

I usually like Fridays, its good food reasonable prices. I know its a young crowd of workers but you managers need to be circulating and be on top of your waiters. I'm not tryin to be judgemental, but I really could not enjoy my dinner. We were by a booth upstairs and there was a guy and a girl waiter talking for like ten minutes at the computer by our booth. The guy was obviously gay and very feminine voice, kept loudly talkin about guys he thought was hot there and hooking up with guys. To each his own but its not conversation anyone wants to hear about while eating dinner whether its straight people or gay.. Very inappropriate and not gonna lie, I probably wont go back to Eatontown Fridays again if he working there. I can go to freehold, brick or something instead.

What is going on with the bartending and management in Eatontown,NJ fridays?! I was in there the other day with my friend and the bartender, short Indian girl allyson or amanda or something, I forgot to keep the receipt. I ordered an ultimate electric lemonade, like I have for the past 10 years. I watched her make it and she put malibu in it. Now im not a bartender but this is my drink and I know malibu does not go in it! I told her and she argued with me and then said they changed the recipe. I asked for a manager she said he was on a important call, but that she wouldn't charge me for my electric lemonade. Listen I watched her make a few drinks that happy hour and I don't know if shes new or trained poorly but girl does not know how to make a drink. This is definitly not a person to have on your bar if you trying to lure guests back in.
