Steak n Shake Corporate Office & Headquarters

I am an enraged employee. I got to work and was told not to clock on. I sat there for 2 hours and THEN was told i could leave. I was neverclocked on. Im pretty sure this is illegal, and im mad i wasted my time. I really want something done about it because it really sucks! and its not first time this same thing has happened. It should be we need you or not today. dont make me wait all day! This happened at the location in Richmond, IN

This place is always understaffed n dirty. People Are nice but really slow

On my Facebook we were sent a picture from food at a Edwardsville Steak n Shake. (This area would not allow for me to forward the picture.) The picture showed it came raw and the person put the manager was not very apologetic. I really believe you have a management problem and probably not enough training at beginning level. This picture is making everyone say things like yuck, need to tell health department, etc.

The Steak & Shake In Montrose OH Sucks when it comes to how they treat their employees i was a dishwasher there and they have the worst attitudes employees and maybe one manager alike and how they do the scheduling is ridiculous... I Will Never Work at another Steak & Shake Again,

I just moved here from ohio.I cant believe there isnt a steak n shake when they have EVERTHING else.There must be 4 Hardees.Big tourist town,and when they leave the college kids are here, and you know how they love a bargain.

I am the husband of one of ur ex employees whom yesterday got fired for clocking out when she was supposed too and i heard the manager ask her why did she clock out when he didnt tell her she could leave....another thing is she did not yet get paid for her time worked which was supposed to be last night thru direct deposit...if nobody does something about these fools at the hallandale, fl steak n shake i will go there n only God knows the fury i am ready to unleash... dont ever go to steak n shake at one located in adrian michigan staff very rude to you managment sucks one lady shronda dont like old people running grill she was always getting on me for no reason made me look like a fool i hate the woman.

I'm a dishwasher at a Steak N' Shake in Indiana and I was forced to work a full day running the dish machine with no dish soap! The dishwasher the previous shift did the same. I asked if I could travel 15 minutes to another Steak N' Shake location to pick up some soap and they refused and told me to get to work or else!

Steak N Shake in Albany Ga has the worst employees. No one acknowledges you. Ten minutes before seating us. We are a party of seven. Not a huge party. Someone should do something about it.

I was fired for no reason nobody told me I was fired and made it to the the point were I am not rehireable when I didn't do anything wrong I would like my job back but at a different location

He has threatened several people that i have heard from the front of the restaurant and he is always having a scheduling issue therefore forcing people to come in on their days off. And i believe you should check your cameras to ensure the safety of the people that work there and the sanitation. And undergo an investigation if so necessary sincerely a concerned customer

We went thru the drive thru in Bradley Illinois and only ordered 3 milkshakes and the service was slow and the the lady that took our order, Tanisha, was very rude to us over the speaker. And we also were there last night for a late snack at 9:15 pm and we were never asked if we want a shake and never asked I we needed more to drink. After we were done eating, we sat there for 20 minuets waiting for her to come back so we could get shakes and she never did, so we just paid and left. That is why we were back today to get shakes. We did not like the service 2 days in a row now! I will not be going back anytime soon!

My experience was terrible. My family and I went through the drive thru of a store in Peoria il. and when we returned home we was missing part of our order. I cald and they apologied and said I could come back and get it. So I went back to get it went inside and was told that I had to go thru drive-thru. So that's what I did I waited in drive thru for 42 minutes. When I returned home my food was cold and soggy and all they could say was that they was busy. Im sry to say that I will never go back.

Stopped by after a hockey game. Since I was alone was offered counter seating. After 20 minutes I went to register to ask about ordering food. Was told they were extremely busy and larger parties would be handled first. I would just have to wait. Will not return since they don't need my business.

Right now I am sitting in the Englewood CO Steak & Shake. I walked in about 2:00 pm and I was "warned" that it could take up to 1 hour to get my food. No the restaurant is not full! Looking at the floor they also don't have time to clean under tables. Oh my shake just arrived it's now 2:15 pm. Shakes are messy but no napkin from the wait staff. Prices are unbelievably great but if your store is not clean in the customer dining area what is it like in the areas I can't see. You could raise your prices 25% and still be the cheapest in town. Put some labor back into the store to cut wait time and clean.

Just sat down for lunch with a coupon in hand and was told oh we dont have that anymore and the paper placemat in front of me was advertising the very thing I had a coupon for and coupon says valid until the end of January they came in the mail yesterday.very disappointed

Quit hating on steak n shake cause yall aint got no business and he does but the service in Carbondale Illinois does suck sumtimes but overall the food is good. just attitudes and friendly servers are needed.

I use to love coming here but apparently new management took over and they fired most of the staff who were great not the service sucks and if there was a negative rating they would get -5
