I usually shop at the Forest Hills NY store.There are mouse dropping in the vending machines.DISGUSTING!The store managers hardly work. I see them in the office watching movies and drinking coffee.once in a while they come out to check on the sales staff and tell them that they are working too slow. Shouldn't the managers help too? The is understaffed as it is. shouldn't the managers help too1!Maybe they can clean out the mouse droppings too!

their gift card wont work online...even though if you turn the gift card around it says you can use it online but i went to go purchace 2 mets hats and after putting in all my info it said they're not accepting their gift card wtf???

TSA's Clearance pricing is a complete fraud - we found a pair of Converse on the Clearance table and they were marked $45 (there were many, it wasn't a single pair of Converse), I asked for the clearance price, and I was told $45. "No, they are on the clearance table, it should be a lower cost" I was told when they can't find a box for a pair of shoes, they put them on the clearance table and don't change the price. We walked over to the regular area and the same Converse were $39.99. Let's see, shoes without a box, banged up and man handled - $45. Shoes in a box, not sullied - $39.99. So a Clearance Item (same shoes, same color, same SKU number) is the same price or more... I think somebody slept thru that pricing class. I called and wrote to TSA - oh yeah they'll get back to me. Its been a month. Think I should quit holding my breath? TSA is worse than Sportsman's Parasite (anyone remember them?) No more $ going to TSA - Dick's opened up in town and I will gladly give my $ to a company whose philosophy is not one of "Yeah, so?"

All I can say is that I love the downtown Chicago Sports Authority I was visiting the city for the first time and it was cold as ever and I wasn't dressed for the weather at all and Warren and Chanel got me everything I needed they were awesome I can't wait to come back to Chicago this summer. Thanks a lot my new favorite store..

I found a way to beat the system. First here is my story, i hate sports authority because they do lie about there cash card offers. they say its good as cash yet when i had two 10 cash cards they said you can only use one so my 24.99 can only be discounted by 10.00 and i have to purchase something else in another transaction with the other cash card. Not only that but you have to pay at store price and not get a discount as like when your paying with credit or cash so this is not like cash. Ok so to me this is fraud on there part. Well now its payback because when you fraud me i will do everything in my thinking to get even. Here is what you do to never pay for anything in sports authority again. Buy something and get the cash card offer and then return the item you bought but keep the cash card. Works great with the 50 dollar and 100 dollar ones. I have made over 26,425 this year using there cash card and not a penny out of my pocket. My plan is to shut this store down as they treat people wrong and are even worse then walmart in service. No business should ever step on my foot because i know this store will file bankrupt within the next year or two. My goal om 2011 is to triple this amount and to create a damage inventory of over 400,000. Mess with me sports authority and i will show you who is the Authority around here.

On Sunday, December 19, 2010, I was purchasing an item from the Latham, NY store. I handed the cashier a coupon for $10.00 and a $10.00 Instant Cash Card. I was told I could only use one coupon. So I used the $10.00 off coupon to make my purchase. I then select a piece of gum and handed the cashier my $10 Instant Cash Card and was told I must make a purchase of more than $10.00. I asked him where on the card does it state I must make a minimum purchase. He read the card and said well it doesn't say it but it is store policy. He then got the manager, who said it was on the sign before entering the store. I asked him where does it say that on the sign. He said right here and pointed to "See Store for Details". In any language, that does not say nor translate to: "must make a minimum of $10.00 purchase to use a $10.00 Instant Cash Card". Neither, the Assistant Manager (Emmanuel) nor the Store Manager (Dan), were able to provide anything on the Store Policy sign that stated "in order to use a $10.00 Instant Cash Card you must make a minimum of $10.00 purchase to use that $10.00 Instant Cash Card". I will NEVER go to a Sports Authority store ever again no matter where I am. Your stores are the worst for customer service and worst place I shopped this holiday season. I will go back to Dicks Sporting Goods for good.

We are done with Sports Authority, from now on we will drive clear across town to Dicks, why you ask? We received some coupons in a mailer for xmas, went to the store today to use them and were told that they would not honor them on orders from corporate. Last month we tried to return a soccer ball that we had bought with a 1 year extended warranty only to be told that Nike would send us a new ball if we returned it them as it came with a 1 yr. warranty from Nike! Nike told us that they have an agreement with SA to take returns so back to the store we go, after arguing with a manager they finally refunded our purchase---but not the cost of the bogus Sports Authority 1 year extended warranty. I will never spend one more penny in your stores for any reason. From now on it is Dicks and that thing called the internet, ever heard of it SA?

I would like to get contact with the department that can assist in donating backpacks or equipment bags to the Athletic department @ Incarnate Word Academy in Houston Texas. You all have the best in sporting equipment than anyone else. Thank You Linda Taylor

YOU ALL ARE SIMPLY THE BEST! HAVE THE MOST IN SPORTING GOODS AND EQUIPMENT THAN ANY OTHER SPORTING STORE. I CAN USUSALLY FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR THE FIRST TIME. A REAL TIME SAVER

Customer service is below poor. And Angel, who is supposedly a supervisor, is more concerned with being a right-fighter than working for the customer. No one seems to know what is going on (except for Mike #72496, who was great at helping me as best he could). Not only does Sports Authority rip you off, they won't accept their own gift cards or Sports Authority Cards.....hmmmmmm. They refuse to give you the coupon codes that are rightfully yours after sucking you into purchasing products for said codes. They have "no corporate number, but can contact you with a CALL CENTER SUPERVISOR". I will no only be NOT purchasing from them again (and I have a son who has just started a sport for every season....) I will be telling every parent, every mom-group friend, every single person who subscribes to my blog and newsletter NOT to purchase from them. Very shady.
