Over 40 hours of vacation time used up for a really bad Whirlpool French Door refrigerator. 4 missed, I mean no phone call to say we wont be there missed. 2 scheduled delivery days missed also no phone calls. Now for the Icing on the Cake, Sears is going to replace the unit after 3 failed attempts to fix various warrenty issues. Lets add this up 9 days of lost wages I'm a Union Glazier hourly package $47.42 per hour times 72 hours $3,414.24. This Sunday I give up my Tiger/White Sox tickets to take a 2;30 to 4;30 delivery time slot to bring out a new Whirlpool guess what? Are we surprised that Sears does not show up , oh, but I did get a phone call at 6;30 that evening saying that could not make scheduled time. SEARS SUCKS RATHER LARGE DONKEY DONGS. I will never shop at another SEARS, K-MART I never shoped there anyways, or any Store that are affiliated. Sears' are like Republicans, LOSERS I hope Sears Fails and the sooner the better. Do everyone a favor and voluntarily shudder every Store what Stores you have left and move to Indonesia. All upper management how do you actually wake up every morning and look at yourselves in the mirror. Upper management you are pathetic, you incompetency reeks of fumunder cheese, call me and I will supply all ammunation and the weapons of choice to eliminate yourselves. I returned a compact refrigerator on June 20 because it was not working properly and since then Sears has refused to return my money. Sears and several case managers, Martin and Nicole Scott refuse to give me my money back even though there have been conference calls between sears, myself and a bank Rep. The bank rep. REPEATEDLY told them that the bank has no record of the credit coming in. Now Nicole Scott, a case manager at the executive office, keeps claiming they need paper work even though no one asked for paperwork during the conference calls with the bank rep. IF THEY NEEDED PAPERWORK THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR IT WHEN THE BANK REP WAS ON THE PHONE AND NOT WAIT UNTIL A WEEK HAS PASSED. I WAS PROMISED A BANK CHECK!!!!!!! NOW THEY ARE LYING AND REFUSING TO RETURN MY MONEY!!!!! NICOLE SCOTT IS A LYING FUCKING BITCH THAT REFUSES TO RETURN MY MONEY.
I bought a Kenmore side by side refrid. 2 years ago at Sears in Greece Ridge Center, Rochester. N.Y. Cost was over $1200.00. Now the interior wall of the fridg. has at least 7 cracks in it. I have been dealing with Sears service dept. for a month now. Their fix is drilling holes at each crack and duct taping them, or glueing them and be without a fridg. for 4 days. They did offer me a dorm size fridg. but I have to charge $100.00 on my charge and they will credit my account back. I dont trust that!! Plus what am I to do with all my food? Throw it out?? I have purchased all of my appliances from Sears for 30 years. Now I would not step foot in a Sears store for anything. Well Im out $1200.00, Thank you Sears!!!
What does it take to show you people that buying from this store just keeps them open to screw over a few hundred more people, stay out of there damn store.
I had a layaway at Sears that was canceled and its been almost two months and I haven't received my refund yet. The people at the store in Toledo keep giving me the runaround. I am so mad they seem to act like I am bothering them when I call. Its funny to them.
Well, here I am still dealing with Sears. I asked to be compensated for all my issues but did not specify state the amount. I have been paying for warranty on my appliances for the pass 13 years. Can you believe Christy from the corporate office offered me $50. I had spoiled food, missed a day at work and flooding in my kitchen from my refrig. Really unbelievable, and it has been maybe a good two months or so of trying to end this disaster. Wow, see everyone what we are paying for and helping to keep money on Sears employers' tables.

I was on the telephone with Sears Repair this morning. I spoke to six different people. I hung up on Sears twice. Do not buy anything from Sears again. My husband and I have bought Sears applicances plus maintenance agreements on those applicances. Sears does not live up to their agreements. They just take your money and then push you around when you try to get they to take care of the problems with their applicances. No one is in charge, because you can not talk to the person making decisions on your problem. Sears you suck. Will never step foot in your stores again.
On June 30 I had a Sears repair man tell me that the "motherboard" on my Sears water softner was not functioning properly. It read Error 3. He ordered the part and came at 8 a.m. on July 16, earliest appointment" and installed new board. One hour after he left it read error 3. I have been on the phone with the repair service all day. At 11:15 a.m. I was told the serviceman would return. At 3 p.m. when no one came I called repair service again. call 2, Jay hung up on me when I asked to speak with someone above his level. All 3 Lisa disconected me after telling me he couldn't come back today. Call 4 Erika told ma a woman anmed Shantil would call me back within the hour..of course..she never did..My last phone call Jay put me on music hold.. You billed me as of June 2 for this repair and I as yet have potable water... If you wonder why you are not bringing in customers look up the word servicing. It's something you don't seem to do despite being paid in advance, in good faith. Shame on you! P.S. I will be sending copies of my experience to the B.B.B. as well as all on my mailing list.
My family has always believed in Sears and their service, but I will not buy anything more from Sears. Call it my negligence to check it out when I bought a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave from Sears, I did not realize that I would be paying 25% interest. This is not the family-friendly store of yesteryear; instead it is out only to make a buck. Wait, weren't you Sears RoeBUCK at one time.
Sears is a HORRIBLE company to work for. My mom and I both worked at Sears. She was fired because she got into a car accident and had to take a leave of absence, then came back to work for a week, then got into another accident where she broke her arm in 3 places (she wasn't driving in either accident). She worked at Sears for more than 2 years. She started at $7.25 and went up to $7.70. Really!? $7.70 after working there for more than TWO years?! She stood on her feet all day and folded clothes and put clothes on racks and got paid MINIMUM WAGE. Oh and god forbid she came back 5 minutes late from her break while some managers took hour long breaks! I worked in Fine Jewelry and started off at $6.50 and commission. This was my first job (I was 18) so the pay was understandable, but unless it was Christmas time, you made next to nothing! I loved working in Jewelry but the manager was very unprofessional. When I did something wrong, she would give me dirty looks and say something snarky to boot instead of explaining to me what the correct way to do something was. Not to mention she used to smoke marijuana on her break with another manager and then she'd come back and talk about it...I didn't say anything because it was not my place to say anything, seeing that I was not a manager myself nor did I want to start drama. I now work for a WONDERFUL company that started me off at $8.25 and now I am an Assistant Manager for that company, they decided to promote me after 6 months! My hours are consistent, my manager is awesome, and we get bonuses! I am so unfortunate to have worked for such a crappy company that treats their workers like second class citizens. Take my advice, DON'T APPLY TO WORK AT SEARS!
I am still waiting for service on my AC. I scheduled an appointment back on June 15, 2012 and am still waiting on service..it is now July 11, 2012. Your service is horrible. We have a maintenance agreement and this happens every year. I would strongly advise anyone who is thinking of purchasing from Sears to go somewhere else and to never ever buy a maintenance agreement from them!!
we have bought sears products for over 40 years, because sears appliances, & yard care appliances, & tools have been top quality but in the last 10 yrs sears products quality has gone down the tubes! we purchases again sears lawnmowers , one sears riding lawnmower, & also a sears push mower. we also were talked into buying the extended warranty along with the items. well the riding lawnmower is only 2-3 yrs old. we had nothing but problems with it from the first month. we had sears repairman come out several times to fix it this repairman was so rude and obnoxious! now our extended warranty has run out. and we are still having problems with the mecanical parts with this sears riding lawnmower/tractor they break. wont work or dont last long! WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE SEARS PRIDE IN THE QUALITY OF THEIR TOOLS, APPLIANCES, AND LAWN CARE TOOLS???? YOU ARE NOT NUMBER ONE TO PURCHASE OUR ITEMS LIKE IN THE PAST OUR RATING OF SEARS PRODUCTS NOW IS A ZERO!! OUT OF A 100 VERY POOR QUALITY! WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO SEARS??? Sears customer service is a joke. They have a rehearsed format and do not alter. Don't expect any help. I have probably spoke to over 20 people who say they are sorry and want to help -BUT - that is all they do is say the same sentance over and over.
I wouldn't even give the Hillsdale store 1 star. My family and I went into this store yesterday to look at a washer with my Niece because this is where we usually purchase our appliances. While standing in line to purchase some shoes my Niece got into an argument with a woman behind her (I had already gone to the car). The argument was loud enough that not only did the store clerks know what was going on but so did everybody in that department. This woman apparently then gave her purchase to her friend and left the store to wait outside for my Niece. When she left the store this woman followed her to my car and unfortunately it then became physical. I did call the Police and we had them take a report however my issue is with Store Clerks not calling Security. I called the store today and asked to speak with the Security Manager and got Myron who identified himself as Store Manager. Myron seemed a little defensive and bothered by my questions but bottom line, he did not want to admit they're not in the practice of using Security for Customer safety. Given the fact this mall had a homicide committed in the parking lot a few years ago, I would think safety would be the number 1 concern for all stores including Sears. Needless to say, the purchase we made is being returned to that store, my Niece went to Home Depot to purchase her washer and our family will never purchase any appliance from Sears again.
My Brand New Kenmore toploading washing machine purchaces at Sears Jan 2012 under warranty is BROKEN... ONE Month ago I started the NIGHTMARE of trying to get the machine repaired or replaced... Through call centers of over 18 different phone representatives from SEARS Only one time did I recieve a call back. They(Sears) say the Transmission is broken after sending to repair techs out. I spent 2 hours on the phone Last Friday Night after working all day, only to be transfered to another phone tech who answered as if I had just called in. then he put me on hold and after puting me on hold the second time I waited another 20 minutes to find I had been disconnected. SUPER DISGUSTED with the waste of TIME and all the lack of TCB (Taking Care of Business)!!!! Dirty Laundry = SEARS

Maybe we need to be talking to K-Mart and not Sears. I get nothing done going through Sears. I think I may have to take my concerns somewhere else.
I needed the bottom panel on my sears kenmore stove. Over the phone the guy quoated me $110.00 for parts and labor. The guy came out the next day and charged my husband $201.60. When I called they said they have to charge parts, labor and a trip charge. Well that's not what the guy said on the phone. All I can say is Sears is not the good company they were years ago. When it comes time to replace my appliances I will never purchase anything from sears again and I am closing my account with them. Part was $53.00 and he was here 15 minutes!!
