I am sorry to say that the Warrenty department of Sears is very sad situation. I have a flower farm that requires me to keep it mowed and three times my lawn tracter has had to have the tire/bearing replace due to the wheel falling off. I bought the warrenty to make sure I had a working tractor when I needed it. I have had them come out and twice now it takes a month for Sears to show up, specially during the summer when it is imperative that I need the tracter running, again it has happened and again it is taking a month. The last time the technician told me that he did not know why they did this because he was available to do the work. I am so upset with Sears. The warrenty is good, but the service department setting up appointments are terrible. I will not purhcase anothe Sears product or their warrenty for this very reason.

I purchased a Kenmore Refrig which was delivered on Tuesday, 9/18/12, and noticed it had several small scratches. I paid for a brand new refrig. and paid good money for same. The delivery people were orally nice but were in a hurry. Took all the papers with tape off and said to keep it set at normal. The refrig part was set higher, which I discovered later in the day. As I was wiping it out, I noticed scratch marks on the side. I tried calling but no success. Today I got a live person on the phone and explained the problem. She mentioned to me where the scratches were ON THE LEFT SIDE. I never said where they were to her. Anyway, she offered a replacement, which I said NO I dont' want to have to go thru that again. Then offered touch up paint, which I said NO. The best she offered was a $30 gift card. I did say yes. BUT I really think Sears could have done better than that and given me something off the price I paid. I don't think I'll be shopping Sears any more. I have been a loyal valuable customer for years, purchased many appliances, but those days are over.

My garage door would not open via its opener ("Stanley" brand). I originally purchased the garage door through Sears and called Sears Garage Door Services. The repairman came and said I need a new Opener Mechanism costing $300 and I agreed. He installed the new Opener. Upon leaving I was informed that "if the new system failed, I could have the old system re-installed". He left the old system with me, but has since called to retrieve it. Not a chance I said. I have since complained to most everyone, in every service department at Sears to no avail. I am an EX-50 years plus Sears Cardholder as of this moment. Someone should have "kissed me first".

I ordered a deck for my riding mower, the deck is not available and it's been 30days and Sears keeps telling me the check is in the mail. I called corp. and I am told the check is in the mail. I was told in the store I had to deal directly with the manfactor , they are in another country. Don't order any parts are the Sears web site.

Absolutely terrible appliances and worse service. I will never do business with Sears again. Buy from COSTCO. If you have a lemon, they will take it back, even appliances.

Sears has turned into a Chinesse outlet store with nothing but low end junk.....Their Craftsman 42' rolling tool cabinet at $700 is a perfect example...JUNK... Harbor Frieghts US Geraral Pro is 10 times the box at half the price.............

I purchased a refrigerator from Sears approx 8 years ago. I paid an additional charge to get STAINLESS STEEL, now the door is bubbling and peeling, to the best of my knowledge Stainless Steel does NEITHER> This is Horrible, i've wasted or an hour and 3/4 getting transferred to 9 different departments only to have the " Customer Resolution Manager" tell me thee is NOTHING sears/kenmore can do. I have been cheated and lied to. This is downright fraud, What was depicted as stainless steel is NOT> I expect a quick response or I will have to take other courses of action. The technician didn't come out to our house for our scheduled appointment and the local store said they couldn't send a tech out today. BUT after calling the coorprate office and explaining my situation, the fella that I talked with was very understanding and got the technician to come out today and fix the dishwasher. He was quick to help and very friendly over the phone. He made my weekend:) Thank-you so much. Sincerely, A highly satisfied customer

We had never done business with Sears before and if we knew then what we know now we would have kept it that way. They are the worse company in the world to do business with. I actually don't see how the store is still in business. Their reps, office people, contractors, service people, anyone that says they are associated with Sears are rude and very disrespectful. THEY LIE VERY MUCH MOST OF ALL!!!! Do not believe anything they say because it will turn out to be a lie. We purchased 4 windows which were suppose to cost us around $1200.00 the first invoice was right but when we got our 2nd invoice they had added $3000.00 for installation fees. To make it worse they hung 1 window wrong where there was a small hole which we were told they would fix if they found anything like this. It was under some siding so we didn't know it was there but instead of fixing it they installed the window on top of it and in 4 months the whole area had rotted, water was running inside our walls and we didn't know it until I walked over in that area and almost fell thru the floor. Then the hassle began. It was a living nightmare. I finally told Jack that we had better fix it ourslf before the entire front of our home rotted. We wouldn't pay the bill but we're afraid they will ruin our credit. We have learnt a very hard lesson but one thing for sure WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SEARS EVER AGAIN NOT EVEN IF THEY ARE GIVING SOMETHING AWAY FOR FREE! WHAT A JOKE1111 SEARS GIVE AWAY SOMETHING FOR FREE111 They won't put a 0 up on the star system because they know that 0's would be pretty much all they would get!!

The fact that Sears is still in business is a disgrace. I placed a parts order on the phone with a non English speaking representative. The order was incorrect and supposedly cancelled. It was NOT. My debit card was charged $105.00. I spoke to countless non English speaking imcompotent uneducated horrible working people. With so many people out of work it's incredible to me that these people get hired. Hers the real problem. They cannot release my money back to me because the order wasn't completed but yet the funds were taken out of my account. It's not within the policy. I am out $105.00 until the pending transactions date releases it back to me which isn't until next week. Not only is this unfair and incredibly inconvenient it's also extremely wrong. To say “no we can't give you back your money because we don't see an order.” My bank clearly sees it on my statement that it was taken out! My bank rep. offered to fax my statement with my permission and Sears told them no as well. This is not the way to conduct business. This is wrong on so many levels. I will not be shopping here ever again and advise you to do the same.

I paid off my account with a settlement through CBV collections and neither Sears nor CBV notified me, end result CBV says they sent the money back I did not get it, and now several mths later it is back in collections after 80 phone calls to talk to someone to help me and NO ONE PERSON DID I was told I own the money and had to pay it, no one admits to the errors that they made and both are big companies and I am a person living cheque to cheque,thanks to ID thief of over a million dollars which is still in process years later, all my accounts where shut down re lawyer advise November 2005 and not used since I use a pre paid credit card . now David said he would allow me time to get the money back out of the banking system, and now I have collection calling me that instead of the rest of the 700.00 it is over 1900.00. now I am finding Sear is one of the most in human companies to deal with. The bank forwarded the 300.00 that went missing from CBV but we are still working on the 700.00 that did not come back to my account so it was sent to collections, and I am told my account has never been in collections and it has, so who was the stupid fool that put first placement and end result I am a person with EP and at the rate you guys are going you are going to kill me. I hung up on the last collection agency guy as I went seizure level and then 5 after that, thanks to trying to convince him It had been in collection, CBV had settled the account , no one notified me, money did not return to me, mths later I am having to prove something that should have been done immediately, I thought this bill was paid in full and was waiting for a letter to confirm and no I get a demand letter. wow talk about poor business handling of an account. you SEARS are in the wrong by not notify a person you had changed companies the money went to that company and wow some poor person is now being harassed for a failure to communicate. We purchased an LG refrigerator 2 months ago and was told it would be delivered in 2 weeks. It is still not at our door. From what we are told, that Sears could not get it from the LG warehouse. Well then why in the heck did the Sears computer give us the 2 week delivery date???? Something needs to be changed wth their computer software that schedules delivery! I will never purchase another LG and may never shop at Sears again. Buyer beware.

Over the past few years, you guys have become one of the worst stores in the United States. Your Customer Service Sucks, and your inability to correspond with customers sucks even worse. I hope I'll live to see SEARS file for Chapter 11 / Bankrupt.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SEARS !!!! I purchased a pair of jeans on line. They were delivered only to find that they were too short. I called the number that was included in the shipping box and was forwarded to some little tart in the PHILIPPINES !!!!!!!WHAT THE .......? I called the executive offices in Illinois, spoke to some "Rebecca" with a sassy mouth and I assured her I would no longer do business with Sears as I wish to keep my money in the US and not to some idiot cupcake minus a brain in the Philippines. I'm done.

I think Sears is great if you realize that you are not shopping at Nordstroms and are looking for Nordstroms quality. You get what you pay for. I never buy clothes online because they never fit. All clothes are not created equal. You can take a size 12 and the same pants made by a different manufacturer will be a size 10!

I would put zero if I could. Your customer service in ??? is terrible, The person I spoke to had a very heavy accent. I asked for someone else she refused, I asked where her office was and she refused. I wanted information about a water pressure tank for our home well system. We have always bought sears. She had no idea what I was talking about but would not refer me to someone who might. Eventually she hung up on me. YES HUNG UP ON ME! I tried several ways to talk to someone in sears. Couldn't get a number for the local store the calls all went to a com center somewhere in the south. No one knew what I wanted. I decided that I would try to order on line. The item I wanted was on sale (yeah). However, it could not be delivered in my area - expand your area the prompt said- I did and it wouldn't let me order it at all. I called customer service again. This time I was told that this item was out of stock (why was it on sale on your website?) I think if Sears wanted to stay in business you should bring your phone people back to the US and have them be more responsive to your customers. I recently purchased a refrigerator from Sears and bought a service policy as well only to learn that you are probably going to close the store in my city. That service policy is really going to be a big help. After purchasing sears products for over 50 years, I am really disappointed. I even wonder if anyone even reads these comments. I noticed that many of the comments on this page are negative. Are you getting the message yet. Call me and I would love to talk with you about my experience.

Sears better get their act together. Orderd a new mattress from them delivery was set for between 1:30 and 3:30. Stayed home and they never showed up. At 8:00 pm they called and stated they were not coming. Ask them when they said Wedneday and could not give me a time. Not asking for much just to get someone who cares. Their attitude is oh well can not make eveyone happy, at lease that is what I think can not understand what anyone is saying. Very poor english.

Absolute worst! Scheduled appointment - took day off from work and no one showed up. Called and was told my appointmnet was cancelled as tech was not available. No phone call to let me know this. Reps all seemed to feel this happens all the time and is no big deal. NEVER AGAIN.
