i recently purchased a chain hoist online from sears on arrival of he item I was disatisfied with item i return item via mail and i was told by 4 service reps on 4 different times that my monies would be refunded and now its been 11 business days and no sign of money yet i am very unhappy with them

Every story here sounds like mine. Bought a relatively expensive side by side kenmore refrigerator 18 months ago. The freezer has stopped working so I called Sears and they tried to force feed me another expensive warranty saying it would break down again and I would need it - but their costs just to come out was $75. So I called a local repair shop and they came out - seems the very expensive main computer board is faulty and has stopped working. This repairman said he wouldnt even replace it because the refrigerator isnt even worth selling used. Now I dont have a freezer or ice maker and Sears attitude is "too bad - pay us". Will never buy another item from them and will tell everyone the same thing. Horrible place, horrible people and horrible products.

To have grown up with Sears, my first Credit card was them in the 1970s, to now see all these complaints. Have had great luck with store bought appliences through these years, but now can not get their customer service to follow through with what they tell me over the phone. Order 6 shelves through their Dot Com, and received only 1, but was charged for all six. And now almost a month later after many attempts to get either a credit or my merchandise, am still contacting people at Sears to no avail. Sears, please find competent people for your customer service, and/or change your policy back to Keeping your customers, through honest helpfull service.

I got my sons pictures taking a few weeks ago! There were suppose to be in this week and i had to call to find out if they were in!! I call to find out they are going to be a week or soo late...i have been waiting to hear from the manager for three days now...i call and noone picks up!!! i also had to wait a half hr after my appt to finally start!!!!!! lets get serious!!

I have been shopping at sears for 30 years but sears is not like before most of the people who work for sears automotive are very rude they need to be train how to deal with people they should know if there no costomer they would not have a job this is a very searious problem some one from sears corporate office need to add.it.

Horrible company. Purchased built in Microwave, not even delivered. I am getting my money back. Will go somewhere else. What happened to customer service??? Confirming with customer delivery time and date and actually doing it???? I will take my $500 bucks elsewhere.

We purchased a Kenmore chest freezer from Sears last year on 6/29/11. Sales check # was 058731014820 and we paid $163.11 total. This past Sat.,Oct.20,2012 we found a puddle by the freezer and phoned a repairman. $50 later, he told us the compressor was broken and the freezer would not be worth it to fix.I phoned Sears to see what they can do for us & all they can do was give us a 10% discount toward the purchase of another freezer.Needless to say that is unacceptable! An appliance this old should NOT break down so soon. I will never purchase a Kenmore app. I will tell friends and family not to purchase Kenmore app. Absolutely disgusted! We do not have the extra money to purchase app. every year!!

I am extremely and utterly disappointed in the service that I received from Sears. I purchased a really expensive washing machine and dryer in 2010, and the washer just stopped working. Since I have the service plan, I tried to schedule an appointment, and the earliest they could give me was two weeks later. When the technician arrived, he told me its a 2-person job, and requires a certain part which took a week to get to my house. My appointment was then scheduled for a week later for them to install the part. Sears then decided to cancel that appointment, and the appointment after that because they claimed that getting two technicians together to fix the machine is difficult. For a third time, they rescheduled my appointment to another date. Each time I have taken a day off from work for this issue, and my boss is getting real annoyed. I am still waiting for my machine to be fixed. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SEARS AGAIN, NOT EVEN A PAIR OF SOCKS!!!!!!! I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT I KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Sears customer service sucks. I purchased a dishwasher in September 2011. It broke down in June of this year and was repaired under warranty, but the job was not done right. It then broke down again September. I called in the morning of the day after the warranty expired. Tough luck they said, you will need to pay for this repair, even though it was the same part that broke in June! On top of that, it took an entire month to get the part needed to do the repair. I was sold a lemon and the customer service is terrible. I will buy my appliances from Lowes or similar outlets in the future where they understand what customer service means.

I took my car to sears to have them repair an oil leak.The men told me what they though it was,and could fix the leak. The leak never really stopped and i took it back several times.Sears says now they cannot fix leakand refuse to give me my 400.00 hundred dollars back, I am 75 yrs and feel like i am being misused. can anyone help me.I would like to get a number for the Headquarters.

I am upset with Sears. The customer service is lacking. I will think twice before I purchase any new products from Sears. The company is not what it used to be. My husbands and I have been customers for over 30 years. Disappointed!!!!!

Worst than poor service. I bought a kenmore electric stove 5 years ago. Stove malfunctioned in July. Repairman came after 5 , no tools, said he was tired & could not move stove. Said he needed a helper. shook the stove & electric went back on. I called & complained. Rep said she would send 2 men next time. called back in oct, repairman came said I had to remoce woodwork ( 1/8 in) refused to do anything. Stated SEARS never sends 2 men!Made numerous calls, & spoke with extremely nasty people. Called PSE&G. tech came, stove shorted out. This tech said stove was defective & could cause a fire or an electrocution. He had no problem pulling stove out. He advised me to buy new stove asap. Bought 1 in Home depot. One man took out sears stove & put in new stove. Sears is selling defective items, they do not want to help customers. Been a loyal customer for 40 years. will now buy in Home Depot. Advise all to do same. No wonder sears is in trouble. very disgusted.

I have been a long time Sears customer. I take my cars to the automotive shop (11 miles)for new tires every 3 or 4 years, passing other shops along the way (including Les Schwab) that is only 3/4 of a mile from my house. Now the problem is this last set of tires from Goodyear was not up to their(Goodyear)standard which is not Sears fault, but where they are slacking is customer care. I took one of my cars in to point out the defects in the tires and the staff could not care less. And here is the kicker, 4 months later the sidewall of 1 of the tires blew out(still under warrantee) and also destroyed the(custom)rim.In stead of " Let me analyze that tire and send it back to the manufacterer" I got that will be $40 dollar for tire disposal & balancing. Les Schwab here I come!!!

I had a mistake of buying a fridge on sears.com on October 16, 2012. Today is October 21, 2012 - the delivery got cancelled again this time because the item set for my delivery was defective. Now the delivery is scheduled for October 23, 2012. Instead of 1 day delivery - apparently 7 days (and counting - we do not know what will happen on October 23 again). Every day counts when one is expecting a fridge and cooks for her child. The customer care assistants on the phone are horrible. A representative named Arve (or Arvi) put me on hold for almost half an hour (on Saturday morning). The worst purchasing experience of my life.

Today me and my wife were so disappointed in Sears. 40 minutes of waiting time staying by jewelry department without service.Never again will shop at Sears.

I bought a 39 inch TV and i returned it 2 days later and the supervisor passed buy me and told them he needed 400 dollars so I took the TV in and the supervisor said I would get the money in a check in 7 to 10 days (i played cash) he said he only had 50 in the cash register and then proceeded to do the check transaction and I said no way because i gave you cash not a check not a charge card and not a debit but he still refused to give me cash so I said to him let me take a 1000 dollar TV and send you a check in 7 days ,he was dumb founded and said i have to chooses take the check or take the TV back so I will call sears customer service because it’s not in there policy to give a check when I payed in cash ,I will never shop there again and I will get my money back and not in a check !!!!!

DO NOT work for sears they are not the company they used to be when we grew up!You are just a # like you are in prison! They will do anything to save a buck and not pay a good employee that helped them be profitable in these hard times.Should have flipped burgers for 16 years.Just so they do not have to pay out when I retired!!! I really am so disappointed in Sears. I keep trying to spend my money there but everytime I go I wind out walking out with nothing . I have never seen such unmotivated staff trying to avoid helping you spend your money. They do everything to look unhappy and as I walk past departments actually hear them complaining to each other. If I ran my business this way I would never have been successful . I want Sears to be successful I grew up with them. Have walked out trying to buy a major appliance three times this year and gone somewhere else. please help SAVE SEARS GET SOMEONE IN THEIR TO MOTIVATE PEOPLE!!!

Tried to schedule anappointment for repair of our Kenmore washing machine on line . A time frame of 1PM-5PM for today was set. I called 2 times to have an update on timing and was told the tech would call. at 5Pm I called customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold for 15 min. and finally hung up. I called customer service back and said I had been holding for a supervisor and I was hung up on. I will never spend another dollar at Sears.
