Do not buy anthing from Sears worst Customer service ever. I,m so gald I don't work for them and deal with all the complaints.It's a shame some of the people that work for them are good people but sears policies are worst than the government. I will buy from a homeless person before i go into any of there stores!

Sears is the worst company to work for!!! 17 years of service and they fire a team player that helped them get back to making money. I was FIRED and did NOT get a warning or written up just out right fired what a waste of my time/life to help them look good.They do not care about all the people that have employed for them they only looking out for for the company so they save money and rip people off and mess up there lives!! DON'T DEAL with SEARS. White glove service my butt! They only give you one finger and you know witch one that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The engine on my refrigerator went out a few days ago!i called sears repair in cin oh and a gentleman came over to fix it and said it was not cooling and he had to order parts,that along with the warranty we got was hundreds of dollars and he said at most two days for the part and two days for repair it is now being scheduled a week later for a week from now that is two weeks with noo fridge.we have had to spend a ton eating out,drive thrus,etc..on top of our sears bill.i called a service manager to see if they could do it any sooner or help in any way,even a suggestion,I was told no we can move it up 2 days and that is it.no care,no concern just cold treatment and have a good day..click.this is a horrible way to conduct business and treat long time loyal customers.and also he put a fan in the back and said it would work for a few days and he put it in the wrong place causing all our food in the freezer/fridge to go bad that is a lot of money for nothing I feel I am very dissatisfied

I am shocked to read all this with Sears !!!! Have never had any problems with thier service . We shop Sears in PA and FL . I hope my luck never changes with them !!!!

In all honesty, after reading these horrible, horrible reviews and really sickening way Sears seems to treat their employees, I can't see any real reason to go back myself. There are too many other places to shop. They just closed a Sears where I am and I won't go out of my way to find another one in support of the employees who are discriminated against as well as this poor woman who was treated so poorly about this grill. How dare this "manager" treat her this way?!?!?! I am a strong, honest and ethical human being, and if I can stand up for my fellow human beings, I guess this is one way to do it.

I am on my third stove and still waiting over six months for Sears and my Insurance company to figure out the payment for the dishwasher with a broken fill valve that flooded our unit and the unit under us. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! We have been a Sears family for years every applicance purchased at SEARS but not anymore.......THE GREATEST SATISFACTION WAS NOT GOING TO SEARS OVER THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND AND BUYING A BEAUTIFUL FRIDGE. purchased portable dishwasher july 2011, faulty from the start, first a gasket, then the racks, hoses, electrical cord, resolution center for complaints was most unhelpful. They wanted me to purchase an additional service agreement even before the original expires to ensure coverage without additional expense, what good is a warranty if parts are unavailable/knowledge of how to repair is unknown? Today, Sept 5th 2012 called Sears corporate in Chicago, spoke to account executive who promises to contact manufacture about needed part, he states there may have been a update to the unit and new parts may be only available for new manufactured units not for replacements and if so he will work to get the unit replaced. I had a kenmore dishwasher purchased 29 years ago and never had a service call for that unit, I was very happy with it I'm sorry I did not have it repaired instead of buying a new one, it needed a new tub, I thought at the time I received my monies worth and then some for having it for 29 years and would replace it doing my part to help the economy by purchasing a major appliance hence supporting manufacturing jobs, I can honestly say from this experience I will NEVER consider SEARS for ANYTHING and that goes for K-MART as well, buyer BEWARE!! one can always expect a possible problem with a new item but to experience the lack of customer service from a national company with so many years of being a major corporation of American made products is unacceptable.

RE: Purchase on April 4, 2012 We purchased a Sears, Kenmore water softener #2042038350 in the Amount of $499.99 plus Installation of $209.99 plus the salt for $12.98 a Grand total of $722.96, which we put on the Sears Credit card. Today we had to have a service man come to repair the softener because it was not working, his diagnosis was that a rodent had gotten in and chewed wiring which in turn shorted out the circuit board and the transformer, the repairs would be $400.00 because it is not covered under the warranty. According to him and the office when I called, an act of God nor animals is covered on the warranty. Well It was not a rodent it was a lizard. The softener is on the outside of the house which we were insured that was perfectly all right. All the softeners here are on the outside of the house. If this is true about an Act of God or animals then you have made a softener with a defect in materials and workmanship. It should have been made to keep animals out of the mechanism. I refused to have the repairs done and asked to have it uninstalled and removed and my money refunded and they said they could not do that. I need something done now. Sears has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever encounter. My Kenmore Refrigerator/Freezer has not been keeping anything cold, continue to shut off automatically this pas weekend. Contacted CS on 09/05, unable to get an appointment uuntil 09/19/2012. This is unacceptable, food is spoiling and there is not appointments for extreme emergencies; only option they suggest is rent a refrigerator and submit food voucher for spoiled goods. No help what so ever..

At 4 am on 8/2/12, I was shocked awake to feel my blankets soaked. I jumped up in a panic to turn on my overhead ceiling fan-light to see what was happening. The light did not come on. I found another light to turn on and saw the water streaming from my overhead celing fan-light (that I just tried to turn on) onto my brand new mattress. I ran upstairs to turn the AC unit off and then to call Sears, the company that I paid to install the central AC. I was told to call back at 8 am when the correct department would open. I called exactly at 8 am and was extremely surprised to be told that Sears didn't consider watering coming through an electrical fixture as an important/urgent matter (I was asked if I had a medical condition that might expedite my case!). Sears told me that they had 24- 48 hours to respond to me. I called a local Heating and Cooling company and they came out that afternoon. The technician was baffled at how Sears got the unit installed in the restricted area that they did. The technician documented that the unit was missing necessary parts, the unit had a negative pitch which would cause the water to ripple in place and not drain out properly or be able to shut the unit off from the safety mechanism, the drain pan was too small and the hole in the pan for parts to go through wasn't covered because the tape wasn't sticking anymore and that not all the ventilation ducting was connected to the rooms to allow for the flow of cool air. Sears told me that it wasn't there problem and that I should contact the last person who touched the unit....it was a technician to clean the unit last year that I contracted through Sears. Sears proceeded to tell me then to contact the installer who gave me an ear full of why he no longer does business with Sears. He said that the Sales Reps didn't know what to order for the installs and the parts weren't correct most of the time. I think that I have called and have been transferred to every phone number within Sears (even Corporate) and told my situation to every member of the call center at Sears and they still haven't accepted responsbilitiy! I thought Sears was a reputable company that stood behind their work; I have been proven wrong the entire month of August. I am now at the point of calling Lawyers and trying to contact the Channel 8 News Team to get the unit fixed. I am so frustrated with the entire situation and from being uncomfortable in my own home!

I am DONE with Sears, I will never Shop there ever again!!!! My saga began in mid August with a Kenmore Washing Machine that stopped working at the Spin Cycle. The machine was a gift for my husband and I from my Dad, purchased in March, 2011 along with a Service Agreement. You see my Dad has been a customer and cardholder for over 40 years. He swore by Sears' products and convinced his whole family that "you have to buy at Sears....they're the best." Unfortunately, Sears has "burst his bubble"....he has just torn up his Sears Credit Card!!!! No one in our family will be shopping at Sears!!!! The first techinician to arrive at my home brought along his supervisor, and spent the entire time trying to impress his "Boss". Instead of fixing the machine, he talked endlessly about how to operate the machine and how much detergent, etc....should be used. He really aggravated me with his "pompous" attitude, and in the end said there was nothing wrong with the machine. After he left I tried to do a wash and the problem was still there!!!! I called again, and had to wait a week for another appointment. The same "idiot" showed up, but this time he said he had to order parts, again with his bad attitude. I was angry, I called Sears Home Service and requested "jerry" not come back. I had to wait another week for parts and a different service technician. "Charlie" fixed the machine and was very upbeat and friendly. I was very satisfied with the visit. However, it is now one week later and the machine is having the same problem as before. This leads me to believe it has not been repaired properly. They are putting a band-aid on a major problem!!!! Today, I called Sears Home Service to complain about what has transpired this last month. The Customer Service Rep, Heather was very understanding, but could not offer me an appt. for ten days. I explained I had wash in the machine, water not drained and door would not unlock. I did not feel I should wait that long for an appt, since my clothes would be ruined and this would be my 4th service call for the same problem. She transferred to a "Supervisor" named Pam....that was the beginning of the end for me!!! She had an attitude, talked down to me as if she was doing me a "FAVOR" and said she could give me an appt. in two days. I said that was unacceptable since I had clothes that would become mildew in a locked washer for two days. She proceeded to put me on hold and I listened to music for 20 minutes, until I just hung up. I called the number appove and spoke to a nice gentleman, however he could not do an earlier appt. So here I sit waiting for a "LEMON" to be repaired with no recourse from Sears. The company that my Dad swore by for many, many years!!! To the Executives who have the power to change things.....you had better wake up or Sears will be going out of business, and you will be out of a job!!! In Today's Economy I don't think that is a good idea!!!!

Sears is #1 under category; how to play with CUSTOMERS EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is an idea for Sears CEO, please look in to how much people in charge of customer service make a year, let them all go. After that... reward all your customers, by giving them deep discounts and excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE. You’ll be surprise how much money you'll still have left to improve your CUSTOMER SERVICE….In the meantime, i’m giving my business to anyone but Sears. You do need to learn how to appreciate my business. You must start with a very top.

bought refrigerator 8 months later quit running, still under warranty. tried the phone then the store to get it repaired. response no problem ten days was the earliest they could schedule the repair. NO problem for them! hammond store manager says well if you would have spent the money for the service contract then we would have payed for you to rent one for the ten days so its not sears fault. at that time i asked for the number of his regional manager he said he didn't have that number i asked again you dont have your immediate supervisors number he said no and if he did he wouldn't give it to me. sears has gotten the last dollar from me. hope everyone else thinks this is just not acceptable!

It is nice to have company.... We are closing our accounts and will not deal with Sears again in the furture. It's a shame that a company with such a good name is living only on that and ripping off the public.

I have a Kenmore washer that was purchased in April of 2009. My extended warranty expired in April of 2012. In july it stopped spinning and I had my repair guy come out. He replaced the motor coupling, but told me that it was a defective part and had damaged the shaft of the motor. He told me that it would be an issue and that I should contact sears and/or kenmore. Sure enough, 2 days ago it stopped working again. I called sears and was told that since I did not have a protection plan they couldn't do anything. I was furious! A washer shouldn't stop working after 3 years. the bad part ruined the motor. All she said to me was that, and I quote: "we will not be repairing or fixing anything for you." I don't know if I was more appalled by their lack of concern or the tone of voice. I decided to go and speak to the store manager where I purchased it. He was more than happy to give me a good deal on a new washer for my trouble. Short of being free, I wouldn't give another dollar of my hard earned money to sears. No wonder they are in financial trouble. I plan on telling as many people as possible to not shop their as well. Many other stores sell appliances too.

Refrigerator didn't work and the hinge on the door was broken.  Badly damaged, I can't believe this was refurbished... Looks like it was used to strip parts and put together the scraps to sell.
