Sears is dishonest

I had always purchased Joe Boxer camis from Sears affiliate, KMart and when I didn't find them online, I went to the Sears website and they had them and I ordered two of them. What I received were two camis of another brand and they didn't even fit well, being so long that they went to my knees. My money is now tied up for probably a month before I receive the credit after I return them and I need camis for the holidays. I find that this shoddy way of substituting merchandise is truly the bottom of the barrel and a desperate attempt to get people's monies. I don't drive and can only get things online and would not have chanced buying a product that was not known to me and that is why I bought the Joe Boxer camis. I can't tell you how angry I am at this underhanded baiting and switching method of doing business.

Faulty Dishwasher, horrible customer service

I purchased a dishwasher from Sears and if was defective (broken latch) but not discovered until after installation. I called sears and after many calls and many disconnects I decided the CU service was so bad that I was just going to return the broken one andjust buy a new one at Lowes (best decision I ever made). For the last 30 days I have been trying to get the dishwasher returned at sears and I have spent hours on the phone and many emails to try to get the unit picked up. Departments don't communicate, so where one says they will pick-up, another tells me something different when it does not happen. I think the funniest email I received was two days ago when they emailed that my dishwasher was on order and when it comes in they will schedule a delivery. Somewhere in the process they "forgot" that they were picking up a dishwasher. The challenges are endless. today I got an email that said they can come get it but will charge $70, when I have an earlier emal that said they were picking it up at no charge. I also spoke to someone on the phone that said i would have to pay a 15% restocking fee to return their broken dishwasher. It is very sad that Sears has gone so far down hill. I can with certainty say that I would never purchase an appliance from Sears again and if you are reading this, you shoudl not either. I recommend Lowes or Home Depot. They are both amazing and have GREAT customer service. Sears will be out of business at the rate they are going.

Bait & Switch

Bought and paid for tires from Sears. One hour later they call - tell me the tires will take 3 to 5 days and it will cost $40 per tire more. I picked up the car and went to BJs to get the tires at $50 per tire less. I am finished with Sears...for good

I will not shop at Sears again

I purchased a refrigerator on line because my local store does not carry the model. Two days prior to our purchase the refigerator was discounted but I could not be given the lower price. Prior to the refrigerator being received at the store the price was reduced again. The store manager could not provide a price adjustment but gave me a couple of numbers to call. After several emails and being on the phone with 4 different customer service representatives for over an hour and half, I was finally able to speak to a supervisor. He too denied my price adjustment request of $100 plus tax. We have been a longtime customer of Sears for appliances. No more.

NEVER BUY FROM SEARS AGAIN!

After being a customer for 40 years and spending 10's of thousands of dollars, I will NEVER buy anything from sears again. I purchased a freezer online, tried to exchange it for another one was told I had to return it and purchase the other one. Then wait 7-10 business days for a refund on the original one. Talked to over 15 people, finally got a mgr that was in the US. Thought she got everything right and she probably did but accounting dept is another nightmare to deal with I'm sure. After spending another 35 mins of my airtime they were able to get me to her department only to find out that she was on the phone and would call me back. I am scheduled to get the freezer tomorrow but at the price is wrong. Oh gee, what a shock! Have appointments today but now have to wait until my case mgr calls me back and then use up another 30 mins or so of airtime again. Total amount of airtime is probably 3+ hrs, after numerous calls and being transferred from one incompetent person to another. Believe me this is the short version of this whole story of horror. I am soooo frustrated and only have a couple more words to say about the whole sears experience: DON'T EVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM SEARS! NOT EVEN A BOX OF TOOTH PICKS, THEY WILL BE WRONG TOO!

Sears doesn't need my business anymore I guess

The Sears credit card company tells you one thing and does another. I went through a hard time for a year and was late a few times. I never defaulted and made payments although some were late. I made arrangements with the company to make automatic payments and for over a year was always on time. I only had a small balance left and it said I had over $800 left of available credit. I went to use the card for Christmas and was totally embarrassed as the account had been closed without any notice because of being late two years prior. I have been told that company policy says the account can be closed at any time when there is a late payment. I had not been late for over a year because my finances were good again and now they close the account with no notice! I will not be shopping at Sears or Kmart anytime soon if this is how their company policies work. They are a very uncaring company and now that I am back on my feet will be spending my dollars elsewhere.

Sears Sucks

Had a recalled Kenmore dehumidifier.Did the recall form and mailed all requierments in. After several phone calls received a $100.00 gift card and $25.00 off your next purchase of a Kenmore dehumidifier. Coupon for 25.00 states "valid at Sears Department Stores and at Sears.com only. Ha...Tried to use it at Sears.com and the code is invalid! And try to get someone who can help you to place your order online...NO WAY. Sears, you suck!!

I bought a Kenmore Elite Steam Washer 2 years ago and have had it serviced 8 times, this is unbelievable. Customer service is a joke, I remembered when my Dad was a service person for the old Sears and that was great, thats why I was loyal. The first year after the Washer I bought a Dryer, Fridge, Dishwasher and this year a lawn mower. Now I want them all gone, I have been hurt badly. I did inform Purchasing Power that they need to look elsewhere for products.

WOW!!!! I bought a dishwasher from Sears and it broke in 2 weeks. Instead of replacing unit, they sent out service guy. Now they say 2 more weeks to order part. Why not replace and make this right? I spent over $2000.00 dollars in their store and cant get a straight answer!!!! they transfer you to 20 different departments and no one can make a decision. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I will buy from Lowes from now on.

DieHard Batteries are the Best!

In 1988 at the very early stages of computer development, I purchase a Franklin Wordmaster Linquistic hand computer. I needed somehing to check my spelling, since spell check had not been invented and develope for the computer. It's been a nifty little device that I use almost daily,after a few years I gave it no thought, if it stop, I'll just buy some new ones. Now after all these many years, the thing is still running with the original battieries that came with the device, 25 years has to be some type of record for four triple AAA alkaline batteries to last that long with continuous use. All I can say is Wow! You have my five stars for this product and my thanks.

washer/dryer

Never again! Second yr in row that SEARS BLACK FRIDAY is nothing but a nightmare. Last yr they messed up my BOSH micro order. After all these yrs they still have no clue what they are doing. I will NEVER buy from them again. Bought a Kenmore Elite washer/dryer online. Realized after paying they didn't give sale price. Now I have to fight for refund. TWO yrs later I'm still waiting for $800 refund for a returned refrigerator. Washer/Dryer delivery supposed to be today but I accidentally hit 2 instead of 1 to confirm delivery. Because of human error we lost todays 3:30 deliver & not one person can help us. Amazing there are no managers available each and every time we call. Delivery is now Dec 10. We need our washer/dryer! Spent 30+ mins on phone with delivery center. Woman was no help. She told us we have no choice but to wait until the Dec date. She refused to give us a manager, the delivery co. name, location, her last name, warehouse # or even a corp #. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE -- HORRIBLE ONLINE STORE. Anyone have a corporate #? Buyer Beware: DO NOT SHOP AT SEARS! Not even worth it during a sale!

black friday ad a joke too

i had the same experiance as did Bill in review on 11-23. he must have been at the Shelbyville Tn. store.the stoe clerk was rude and impossible to work with. Stated that "the sales paper is for sears and we DO NOT honor it ! " the ad had 27" tv for $88 and other tv on sale. He stated that they had tv's in back and wont bring out till 4am and "YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME BACK THEN AND PAY FULL PRICE" corprate was NO help! Was told Home town stores can do what the want. They are ONLY a franchise leasee. I have spent alot of $$ there in the past But now they will never see another dime again!

Unprofessional Black Friday

My daughter's and I went to the PBG Sears store at 10:30. We were told tickets would be passed out at 2am for the 4am deals (50 inch TV sale) I asked two Sears Employee's how many TV's are available for the sale and explained how I didn't want to have my nephrew to come and stand in line if there wasn't enough TV available. We were told 5 Tashiba's and 8 Panasonics. We were number 9 in line. I asked my nephew to stand in line while we continue to shop. At 3am, the store representive told the customers that only 7 TV's were available. Now to remind you, this question regarding the amount of TV's available was aroung 10:30pm. When I went to address this matter with the store Manager JR., he stated "that's a chance customers take on Black Friday". I explained that the staff was questions about the amount of TV's available prior to having my family member stand in line for 7 hr's. THe manager refuse to satisfy me or even attempt to satisfy me as customer. I have a regular account and a master card account with Sears. I have been a loyal customer for many years. However, after the treatment from the Manager Jr. I'm seriously considering closing all accounts as well as returning the xbox and the 5 Samsung tablets I just purchase. I rather pay full price elsewhere then to deal with Sears. This is only part of the story. The store manager didn't try to investigate the problem. I felt unimportant and brush of by the sear manager. This is unacceptable and I am planning on calling the corp. office and writing a letter until common ground is met. This far from over.

Complaint

Today was the FIFTH no-call, no-show by Sears Repair Service to fix my dryer. The parts have been in my house for two weeks. I have missed four days from work waiting for their promised 8am-5pm arrival, and today, although off from work, I could not spend it with my family who is here for the holiday. I sat again from 8am-5pm, calling throughout the day, being promised that the technician would be here. Fortunately, I copied and pasted an online chat with customer care regarding this matter, and have the representative promising me that the technician will be here. This will help my lawsuit when i file it, as well as my complaint to Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. Why am I paying for a maintenance contract? Never, ever, ever will I give my business to Sears again! This is totally unacceptable!

Boiler/master service plan

I have never been soo dissatisfied with any company like I am with sears. Such a large multimillion dollar co and I have been w/o heat for 9 days after purchasing a $7000 boiler with the Master service plan. The boiler is only 2 yrs old and the transformer blew on it. I know things happen to parts, but 9 days w/o heat with little children in the house and a diabetic. It occurred on sat night, no service tech until Tues morning and no part until tomorrow. Unbelievable. Right thru Thanksgiing. Worst Thanksgiving ever : (

commission

On black friday i bought a 43 in t.v for $406 and when i checked my bank the next day like i always do, i noticed they charged me twice for that t.v just so the salesperson can get extra commission. I still did not get my money back. So i am going to corporate.

Return and "customer care"

I returned two items from an online purchase in one package and received credit for only one. Have had numerous emails from your supposed customer care (each from a different person), asking for the same information. I can't imagine what you've spent on this - the return was approximately $17.00! I've asked them to not contact me again and I don't plan to order anything from Sears in the future.

Tire fraud

I purchased two tires from sears, paid in advance, went to the store in Cutler Bay, Florida. After leaving my car there they called to tell me it would be three or four days until they would have the tires and that the price is increased $60 each tire. I went back, got my car and will not buy anything from Sears again. Never had such horrible service.

CRAZY RUN AROUND

I have been dealing (over 16 hrs) with various dept on-line and no one knows what the others are doing. Ordered Wash/Drt, Refrig/Diskwash/Microwave. !st delievery was scheduled (so I was told) for 11/24 then 11/25 and then order was cancelled due to out of stock (on 11/25). I order early AM on 11/22 due to such a high dolalrd amount (so I was told) their fraud unit had to call me to verify (used AMX) so everything was in the warehouse waiting for me. NOW as it took two days to release the information they are out of stock, Called different number and now told all items will be in by friday and then I call call back in and schedule a delivery date/time.
