Aweful Customer Service
I purchased a desk online in December, and have been dealing with Sears Customer Service via phone & email, attempting to return the item due to quality issues. This experience has been a total nightmare! And the sad thing is, it's not over yet!! Sears Corporate Headquarters, maybe you should look into the service that your CS crew are providing!!
impossibility to reach the HR support center.
Am trying to reach the SEARS HR support center since two days but nowbody picks up. Only the voicemail put me on hold for severals hours telling me that all the associates are curently assisting other customers and that they will assist me shortly. But after hours and days I still could not get anybody to solve my problem.That's bad.

Very Upset
I purchased a DVD in November for a Christmas gift which i never received..Sears promised me a refund and today is January 15 and no one can give me a straight answer!! Who takes almost 2 months to issue a refund? This is insane...The most horrible customer service i have ever experienced..Will never purchase from them again and I will make it my priority to let everyone know!!!

I have recently been going through the same process of trying to get a refund took sears a day and a half to take the money and here i sit a month later with no refund absolutely horrible customer service will not be buying from them again...
Worst service in life
I order a laptop for my 13 yr old for christmas so after we turned on that laptop it already had 15 virus on it it wouldn't shut down properly I returned the item on 1/3/2013 and have not gotten a refund yet I provided them with that tracking# for tje returned item they stats it takes 3-5 days to get a refund its not in my account yet and it's 8 days after they received there product back I will be contacting BBB about this matter
Television Repair
We purchased a TV in April. It stopped working 12/28. We sat on the phone for 3 hours with tech while we diagnosed what was wrong. They ordered part without seeing the TV. Wrong part of course was ordered. They ordered another part. Today is 1/13 and we just got a call canceling our repair service for 1/15 and rescheduling for 10 days. Service sucks! No wonder they are going down the tubes.

garage door opener
we recently bought a garage door opener that was on sale. One promotion was to use your Sears charge and get an additional 5% off. When my husband got home we saw that he didn't get the 5%. I contacted customer service on your website, have sent copies of my sales receipt to them, have tried dealing with the store, The Galleria Mall Sears in Middletown, NY, and then went back to customer service on your website. I keep receiving the same form letter stating that they cannot find any information on our sale (although I have since paid one month payment on this bill) and then ask me to take a survey on how well they are doing. Since it's over a month and a half since we bought the item, I would say not so well. Can someone please help us.
Poor Customer Service
Thank you for submitting a refund that included the Shop Your Way Rewards. After viewing the email sent, I saw that Item# 02947727030, Joe Boxer Pajamas, Dinosaur had shipped. This was one of three items ordered on 11/29/2012. I had received an email on 11/29/2012 indicating that the Dinosaur Pajamas were not in stock and this item was cancelled. I contacted customer service today and spoke with Customer Service who stated that it was not in stock and would not be shipped. I requested an email to be sent to reflect order cancelled and will now have to follow up to make sure I do not get charged for the Pajamas. I realize that the toaster credit of $41.68 may take 5-7 business days to process the refund as stated in the email. I hope I actually get a refund as promised after reading all these reviews. I can not express how disappointed I am at the service that was provided to me this Holiday Season by Sears and UPS and I hope this is not a reflection of what I have to look forward to this new year; not to mention, my mother in law never received her Christmas gift. I told her that I would not give up on finding out what happened to her Toaster and now it is obvious that Sears has given up. What a shame, I guess this will remain a mystery and a merchandise loss where Sears is concerned. Also, you have Customer Service and Sears Executive Office employees to thank for you having a job, because if it were not for their incompetence, then you would not have a job. This proves to me that Sears has no policy in place to assure that online orders will reach their destination. Once again, a tracking label was printed, maybe before actually pulling the item from the shelf and maybe item was not available on shelf except the display model and maybe the display model was included in the online available inventory, and then the employee responsible for cancelling the order dropped the ball and never followed up and misplaced the tracking label. Maybe an employee decided they needed a toaster and took it home with them and tossed the label in the garbage knowing that it would be considered lost and a Sears write off which is exactly what happened today by issuing a refund and giving up. Now, after finding this website, I realize that I am not alone in dealing with the incompetence of the employees of Sears and UPS. What impact this could have in the future of Sears staying in business. Good Luck!
It's someone else's fault
I purchased a new washing machine and it was delivered Friday Jan 4th. As a result of the installation, water poured down the wall and into my finished basement damaging the carpet and the sheetrock. I contacted the store (after much aggravation from their electronic telephone system) and was told that it was not Sears fault but rather the delivery company they subcontracted with to deliver and install the washing machine. Suggested I contact the delivery company to be made whole. The delivery company said it was Sears fault (product liability). Today is Jan 10, 2013 and water is still sitting in my basement carpet/sheetrock and they are still playing the blame game. I didn't purchase my washing machine from the delivery company, I purchased it from Sears. Sears may look to their delivery company for relief, but my recourse is with Sears. Now it looks like only an attorney will get this sorted out. Is it any wonder that Sears no longer dominates the industry as it once did?
No Product/ Charged Anyway
Sears lost my order but had already charged my account, now I keep getting passed around, hung up on and lied to. Never got my tablet ordered was canceled and they still won't issue my credit card a refund.
Store Manager
I am a current Sears employee in Arizona. In recent weeks I have discovered just how far the store manager will go to rid herself of one of her employees. After hearing for myself and one other employee the threats that have been made on our jobs and the blackmail that is going on, I am appalled as to the unprofessionalism and the illegal tactics that are being enforced. I would think that as a former HR manager she herself would know better, but I guess she doesn't care. I have every intention of taking legal actions against her and the company itself if this issue is not resolved.
Bad service
I ordered two christmas presents for my wife on Dec 4th and have still not received them after many lies from them apparently they never had them in stock heve wasted a lot of time on the phone and still no refund!!
Stolen money
You guys literally stole my money I have called gone into the store your people say oh it should be back in your account well after a month it's not. I was charged four times for orders that you then cancelled saying out of stock but charged me anyways. Now as I write this I am sitting here on hold with your offices again. It's been ten minutes since I called. I hope someone who works here reads this because this is beyond shameful. You cannot take customers money and provide nothing!
return policy
I'm very disappointed in your return policy and the service I recieved. I've been doing business with Sears for over 30 years and won't be back. Apparently this does not matter.I ordered at Sears .com. I guess we shouldn't do that. I was unable to return the item and can't get credit for it. Your written return policy states that the item may be returned to store . But your sales /cashiers refused.
Lost shipment
I have order two rings from sears and paid over night shipment. they were to arrive Dec 26th 2012 . Today is Jan. 7th still no rings and there coustomer sevice has me on hold more then an Hr with no answers. they have my money and I have no items. poor shipping pritice. Stay away from the sears dot com. this is the not the only order they scewed up of mine.

Sent Used UNIT
I have been a loyal customer of Sears for many years and due to the treatment on this purchase, I will never do business with Sears again.
Don't know if anyone really looks at these but...I bought a foam mattress from Sears. It was advertised as an 8" mattress. It was only 6.5" (my son-in-law & I BOTH measured it). I asked for partial refund as I could not send it back (shipped compressed) & I had already given my old one away. I tried e-mailing cust. svc twice...no response. Then talked to cust svc twice. Both times they promised to have the vendor call me...no response. What does it take??? (I even have a pic of the mattress with a ruler). Trying to contact corp offices but difficult. No wonder they aren't as popular as they were when I was growing up...terrible cust svc!!
