WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!
Sears has the WORST customer service of any store I've ever shopped at. I bought a pair of nursing shoes online, and when I received them they were too big. I ordered another pair in a smaller size, and when I received them I returned the pair that was too big. Sears received the returned order a week later. It's been a month, and I have still not received my refund. I've called at least 10 times, and nothing has been resolved. It's getting to the point where legal persons may be needed. It sounds to me like Sears doesn't like paying the people the owe. On top of all of that, the shoes that fit are falling apart already and I've only worn them a few times. Very disappointed.

I purchase a Kenmore oven. 7/11 & the oven stop working. When I looked where the burner & baffle it was used. Meaning I paid for a new oven & was given a re-furbished oven. I spent $350 for parts & repairs.
Given the Runaround
I had a water heater replaced through the Sears Protection Agreement plan only to have it installed improperly and I did not receive all of the parts which I purchased. I have placed several calls to the installation department only to be placed on hold for average of 35 minutes at time. In the meantime, I have leaky water heater and a company (Extreme Services) that refuses to correct the work that they have done. I have been a loyal customer of Sears for over 30yrs., but I after this experience I will never purchase any applicances from them again.
eliptical,gas range
Everything we buy from comes damaged,and nobody knows how to correct the problem. In the summer the gas range I bought came dented. Took a month to for sears to replace it. I bought a eliptical exercise machine as a christmas gift. It came with a broken leg. Three times a repair man could not fix it, because they keep sending us the wrong parts. Sears has the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. Customer service rep "Lexi" was completley useless, and unhelpful. She acted like it was my fault the machine came broken, and they can not figure out how to send the correct parts to fix it. I will never ever shop at sears again. Was a great store, recentley turned to complete garbage.

Sears has stolen my money and won't give it back! December 13th, I ordered a Christmas gift online from Sears.com. They got their money from my bank account on December 15th but I never received the item. Numerous attempts for a refund have proved unsuccessful. My next call will be to the attorney general and the better business bureau. It's no wonder Sears has financial difficulties - with service like this, customer loyalty is gone.
I called Sears service department to have a Kenmore washer repaired, the person I tried to talk to and I say tried .. could jest barely speep English.. After a very long time of trying to get a repair set up, not happy, I told the person to cancel which he did not.. If Sears want return customers, a good look at how you treat the ones you have..
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Sears Corporate Office escalation department is a joke! Its been 1 month since my issue was brought to their attention, and the Simmons electric recliner sold by Sears last March, 2012 (still under warranty) still hasn't been resolved or fixed. And Sears wonders why they are losing customers!? I've purchased four (4) major appliances over the past 7 years and each one had to be replaced and/or repaired due to poor quality. I will never purchase anything from Sears again. Yet, the individuals at Corporate Headquarters don't seem to put two plus two together. In other words, if they continue to treat their customers the way the do, one day says will be declaring bankruptcy, and they will be out of a job.
A lemon is a lemon is a lemon
We purchased an Electrolux from Great Indoors, a Sears company in 10/10. We purchased an extended warranty and paid dearly for it. Our icemaker has broken several times. Sometimes the technician replaced parts, sometimes he didn't. The ice maker worked intermittently until 3 weeks ago when it again stopped and then the entire refrigerator stopped. After waiting a week for a technician, we were told that Sears needed to send out a coolant specialist. After waiting another week, they sent the same type of technician came out and told us the same thing, that we needed a coolant specialist. In the meantime, Electrolux sent out their specialist who diagnosed the problem as a coolant leak that has been going on since we bought the unit. He said that this normally warrants an entirely new unit and Electrolux offered to replace the unit but would not cover delivery, installation, and haul away. Sears is refusing to act on our problem without additional delays. We were told by the warranty department that it must break 4-6 times (depending on who we talked to) in 1 year in order to qualify as a lemon and get a replacement. It seems that Electrolux is stepping up to their part in this and now we would like Sears to step up to their part. Since they misdiagnosed the problem for 2.5 years, and continue to spend time and staff sending the wrong people out, this should be cheaper in the long run.

I was very frustrated trying to get a real person to answer questions about and your customer service rep got me in touch with the/sales person at the Melrose Park outlet store The sales person did not have a over/under washer dryer for a price we wanted to pay The floor model was at Cermak and Toughy and my husband went there to purchase this unit today. kudos for you washer /dryer sales men and for the telephone customer service representative Gabriel who found two other phone numbers where I coul contact the sales person who knows what we wanted to know and if all goes well we will purhase the floor model at Cermak and Tougy!! All in all your employees at Coporate and at the outlet (Melrose Park) are on the ball We appreciate their help and because of them we will continue our using Sears for our appliance purchases. My gofer is a joke.
I got emails from my gofer. But they could not honor the price on the items. So far it has been back and forth 10 days for one and 4 for the other. All I want is what they advertise for the advertised prce. They have some Idea I should pay full price and wait for the adjustment. My gofer is horrible. I always thought customers were important. Maybe they have found a way how to run a company with out them.
the worst service
I am shocked and so upset with Sears. I have never had this kind of treatment from any store in my life! we ordered my daughter a pair of shoes and they showed up with two left feet. I thought it would be any easy fix, boy was I wrong! I have been emailing sears for over a month and a half, I have also called more then once and told each time they were sending my a UPS return label. I think I have at least 15 emails between Sears and myself and nothing has been done! All I wanted was a return label being the fact its not any fault of my own that they sent two shoes of the same foot! Calling them and speaking directly to them hasn't helped either. I wont ever buy from Sears again and the sad thing is they use to be a good company that stood by their stuff and cared about their customers. Not anymore.
Horrible, none service
We bought Washer and dryer from Sears store In Santa Monica Ca .LG ( most expensive one). Shorty after to find out it is defective . Sears told us they will give as new one in exchange( supposibly). Driver call us 5:00 in the morning and told us that he got two dryers to exchange for Washer and Dryer. I spend 5 howers on the phone, trying to find enyone to help. They keep transfer us to different extensions. So far nothing is bean resolve, nore do we got one straight unswer .Nasty, unprofessional, ignorant company, with all of its careless employes !! I will have yo file formal complaint, and get my money back !+ attorney fees.

i took my truck to get new brake pads before they could get it in the shop they lost my car keys and didnt tell me until an hour later than made me wait a whole 5 hours before giving me a rental still waiting 2 days later to see what they are gonna do about it!!
Long delays
Sears is making me wait weeks before sending out a repair technician to fix my dryer, which is under a service contract. In my opinion, a service contract should provide something better than long delayed service. I am disappointed in Sears. Going weeks without a working dryer is a significant hardship, and I'll keep that in mind the next time I shop for an appliance at Sears.
Hulen Street Store
I love Lands'End merchandise but I order it online. The nearest Sears to me is unbearable. The store stinks. In the AM, it smells of bleach - it's as if someone went through and tried to cover up the sour smell that comes from the AC/Heat vents. The handicapped doors do not work. They haven't worked for at least 4 years. I had a friend check the doors for me a few months ago and they still didn't work. I do not shop there. Why do we have to do the dumb word game below?

sears techs blew up my house . they needed a simple coil to put inmy unit and they spilled gas and freon all over the house and the unit exploded ... i never in my life . these guys are horrible my experiences with sears are never good !
Frigidair Stove
On September 9, 2012 I bought a Frigidair stove at sears in Champaign,Illinois It was delivered on September 19th. My Christmas dinner was ruined because of my oven. cookies went flat and burned on the bottom pies got done one at a time the one on the bottom rack never got done and had to be throughn out, my turkey baked seven hours when it should have been done in four, the casserols never got hot I had to ccok them in the microwave and the dressin got brown on top and never cooked underneath.I called Sears they sent out a repairman who said there was no problem. I tried three pies again with the same results another repairman came out and told me this oven cooked differently and I was going to have to learn how to use it there is nothing wrong with the oven I'm to use small baking dishes rotate the food while it's in the oven preheat 10 minutes longer than what the instructions in the book says. He also said I should bake in the middle of the top shelf thats where the oven is the right temperature,I'm suppose to make sure nothing is close to the oven door after checking out comments I can see why lots of the glass on doors have shattered. He claimed cold air gets in under the door and mixes with the heat in the oven he also compard an oven with a furnace thermastat he claimed you set it on 75 but it reads 70 Itold him not mine. I told him I hated the stove and was informed with my attitude the oven would never work for me. I do want another stove I want my money back and fom the sounds of it it's going to be a fight after reading all the cmments I have today I' now afraid to use the oven.
Sears Auto Center
Sears Auto Center ruined my car. Went in for tires and then was told I needed so many other things. My car was in good shape when I took it in for the tires and did agree to some of the other work but something happened while in the garage to my car and had to have another place fix what the Sears Auto Center messed up. Ten calls to customer service and an email to the Sears Corporate Headquarters and they will not do anything about it. So many years I shopped at Sears and this is how they treat their customers. No wonder I am hearing things about them not doing well. I could go on and on with this review but it will become a book!.
We bought a heating and air condition system and first they quoted us a 12,000 to put in.They than called and asked how we liked it we said it was way too much.They sent another guy out to give us an estimate and he said 8,000. We got an estimate for all electric and we thought it was a good deal and we went with it. the first problem we had with it was that they sent the wrong compressor the sent one for gas and when we called they stated we ordered the gas we told them no we wanted all electric. They said it would be more to do that to send it back and get the right one.We told them that it was their mistake and that we would just do gas. We had to get our gas tested and that cost us more money. They put it in and it did not work right and did not heat. so we had to call Dalton and get them to come and figure what was wrong with them .The bill was never sent to us and they kept billing us late fees and we never get the bill. We have nothing but problems with this company and we have asked to refinance and they won't do it and we are trying to get help and they won't work with us. We will not buy anything from here again and 'I will advice people to not to go there.
