warranty ...what warranty it screwed lady
I purchased a washer two years ago with three yr warranty I call 7 months after I bought it to get it fixed. Magically there is no recall of my warranty so I have to drive to store get recipe to show the service guy that I had the warranty. He said they fixed it and took recipe withhim. I call today for washer service and again can't find warranty. Drive back to store for recipe to where the guy working tells me sorry mam u r screwed BC we only save recipes for a yr and there is no other way to recall sale . I will never ever purchase another thing from these crooks
Unprofessional auto work
Sears Auto Center has a sign in the waiting area that states:" We protect our customers' automotive investments with guaranteed fast, professional car care solutions that earn their turst and build lifetime relationships". This statement is far from the truth. I am thinking about not paying my Sears Credit card bill of $3,000.00 and let my excellent credit go down the tubes because after I spent another $1,500.00 for someone else to try and fix my car that Sears damaged my car is still not running like it did when I took it in "Just for Tires" and one thing led to another, etc. Sears needs to start taking interest in their customers concerns and they should start now one by one to try and save Sears from going down the tubes. Shame, shame, shame on Sears.
No Integrity Company- SCAM
Basic story: we bought TV, TV broke two months later, tech declared TV malfunctioned and covered, 1 month and 2 weeks later with 10+ hrs of my husband trying to get someone on the phone Sears says "their hands are tied." Found out today techs pics were never sent because Sears never contacted Panasonic regarding replacing faulty TV. If replacement hasn't been sent or full refund for both TV and warranty aren't reimbursed we will be filing a lawsuit for a fraudulent contract.
Unsatisfied--
Would give them 0 stars if available. Ordered an expensive built-in microwave. It arrived dented, clearly damaged, does not work. We tried to order a replacement, but the date gets pushed back...and back...and back. My wife told me she'd had it with the Sears Customer Solutions line. I tried, and spent 70 minutes, mostly on hold, talked to four people, none of whom knew about the case. Each person said, "I will transfer you to someone who can help you." Next person said, "Hello, how can I help you?" And so on.The last person denied that there was a purchase. Received no help, just perfunctory "I'm sorry that you feel that way sir," and so we are out $1000...with no microwave to show for it. Will not buy from Sears again.
Craftsman lawn tractor
This is my second craftsman lawn tractor and it will be my last. I should have learned from the first one when the engine blew up and they ended up screwing me out of any compensation even though it and the engine were under a recall, they kept saying the needed more info then after several attempts they just blew me off. Now the second one is having engine trouble as well. What ever you do DON'T buy a Sears product. I won't ever again.
Took My $ and Ran
I ordered a mini fridge online at the beginning of Feb and no one will tell me where my merchandise is. They say they are looking into it and they would let me know in 5-7 business days. On day 8 there was still no contact from Sears so I called. The rep told me to wait another 5-7 business days. They won't tell me what is wrong or let me speak to the dept that is "investigating". They just took my $96 and ran with it. I will NEVER buy from Sears again!!!!
service and value of your customers
I have never been talk to so rudely one of your sales people at your store in Cleveland Ohio Richmond store was rude and condescending.Plus I have not received my refund for my cancel layaway and for what I read on the internat I probably never will. I plan to let people know that you are no longer a quality store via the internat. am very disappointed in overall service at sears. I will never enter another sears store again. Shame on you the way you do business.

item purchased was broken by install man . have been hung up 4 times and have been on hold for more than 90 minutes. lost my temper and was told i was abusing customer service. 2 days and no satisfaction yet. great company.
Automotive dept
Your automotive dept told me a lie to steal money from me. New car and told me I needed a new alternator. Fortunately I knew better and confirmed my alternator was fine with my car dealer. I have a written quote from them also. I am appalled by the lack of trust and the dishonest people working for sears.
Compressor Recall
This e-mail is for my friend I talked into buying a Craftsman compressor, Paul Novak. His compressor overheated and died and he called me to tell me I helped him buy junk. I informed him it was not that Sears had a recall that he did not receive information about, so I gave him their number. First they sent him a new cover for a burned up non functional compressor. Second they took the compressor to look at for 3 weeks and would not return his call so he could find out what their fix was. Last he was told that the compressor was burned up and that it was his problem they would not fix or replace the unit. As for a rating it does not even deserve 1 star and this continues to justify why the sears corp. has sales problems. Keep replacing quality merchandise with junk and not standing behind it that should keep you in buisness until you run out of customers!!

Kenmore Elite dishwasher spontaneously erupts in flames due to a well documented defect in a circuit board behind the control panel. Reports and photos of this are all over the web. Are they concerned? Nah, they think it's a good time to sell me a service contract. Imbeciles.
Being Taken Advantage Of
I purchased a fix me up home summer of 2012 and thought it would be a good idea to get the furnace, ac unit, ducts cleaned out. I did not have the gas turned on because I had not planned on moving in, so I was on the look out for a reputable company giving specials. I came across Sears. I had them clean my air ducts out and as far as I could tell the guys did a good job. So, I decided to call Sears again for A/C and Furnace cleaning. The technician came out and cleaned the A/C and when he came in for the Furnace - he took out a wet/dry vac and vacuumed the dust out... I looked at him and said "for real, that's all you are doing" he said yep... everything else looks good. I was upset to pay $130 for him to vacuum dust but I did. Now when January comes around... it's time to use the furnace because it's getting cold in GA around that time. I notice the furnace comes on but the flames kept going out. I called Sears because I wanted to know if the technician could have told me this problem with gas not being on in the house back Sept. Corporate Office at Sears unsure if they could give a diagnosis with service on or off... representative was unsure. I told her that I was upset to pay $130 for a vacuum and she kept telling me their 90 day warranty was up... my question was still - why did he say he performed a check on the furnace without being able to really do it. She didn't care just wanted to know if I wanted to pay more money for them to come back out and do another diagnosis since the unit is now on. How much money would Sears loose for ignoring great customer service? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that customers are the ones that keep your business alive! They surely lost me, and at least 50 -100 other people that I tell not to use them anymore because they do not know how to resolve problems.
Worst Customer Service
I have tried to call the local store (Coral Gables) in my area to drop off a vacum cleaner for service. All the numbers go to a national call center where no one knows what is going on. Second, the Repair Center locally never answers calls. The Escalations dept said they would call me back and never did. It's going on 3 weeks now with no response! Call the Corp Escalations and I get disconnected twice. Wow, is this for real? Is this a major company or the DMV? Vacum dropped off on 1/28 and still no resolution today.
Upset customer
On Feb 18 I brought my 2007 Ford Fusion into the Sears automotive for a platinum package. A transmission fluid flush, an oil change, a fuel system clean, a tire rotation and a multi point system. Price quoted was $244.00. At check in at the auto counter, I informed the clerk I had a ford and it had 118000 miles on it. After my car was done, I was informed the transmission wasn't done because it was a ford and it had over 100000 miles on my car. I asked why I wasn't informed of this upon check in. I feel like I was taken advantage of and I spent to much. I could have taken my car to ford and had the same charge for what services I needed. Is this the way you run your business?

The WORST SERVICE , The people at the sears automotive store in Houston Texas [ Memorial City ] is a prime example of incompadance of employees that I have ever seen other than Walmart employees , it is this kind of service that is destroying the industry in this country and is no wonder that Sears is closing up to 120 Sears and K-mart stores , Terrible Service , Un - Educated Employees with no manners . Needless to say it's only a matter of time before they all shall be closed .

I do not like the way the store manager of this store runs his employees ragged like they're dogs. They should be treated like humans and I really believe something should be done with that store manager.
Poor Service
Made a purchase of a Sears Kenmore Elite washer and dryer. The dryer was not hooked up properly. If we had not remodeled our laundry room 1 yr later my house could of burnt down. The charged me to come take the dryer apart and clean the lint out of the inside. Also had a recall on the washer that use to take me 45 min for a load of towels now takes 1hr 2 min. This was an energy star product. I called corporate and that is a joke. Will never purchase from Sears again. Had bad luck from day of purchase. Very poor customer service and stand behind nothing they sell with service agreements or not.
very poor customer service
our local sears store in Fergus Falls MN can't find a 15/16 short 1/2 drive impact socket for warranty and can't find one on the corp web site. talked with craftsman also got the same run around and said it would be three weeks to get one mailed after they found one. then later in the evening the local store found one and would get it ordered. two to three weeks later one showed up that was ordered by someone in the corporate office and they mailed out a 11/16 deep impact socket in 3/8 drive NOT EVEN CLOSE !!. Called sears and craftsman and after an hour on the phone and all i got was the run around and still don't get the proper socket that i need for work. Thinking that craftsman is NOT the place to have any tools from!!
Sears Service is HORRIBLE! I had an appointment scheduled for 3/1/13 from 7-12 noon. At 11:30 a.m. I received an automated call of a delay in service from 1to 2 hours. I attempted to call service to try to find out the true nature of the delay as I had other appointments scheduled. It took me 3 hours (most of the time on hold) to finally speak to a supervisor. I merely wanted a time frame for arrival of the service tech at this point. I was told that the appointment had been cancelled and it that the first available appt was 2 weeks out! This to fix an oven that was working prior to a service tech coming out for preventive maintenance 2/14! Unbelievable...I don't even know what to say about the incompetence of Sears...very disappointed to have wasted a day waiting for a scheduled service call...
