worst service ever!!!!!!!!!
It took 3 hours in the store to get (what I thought was my order right) only to find out on 2 freaking deliveries they still didn't get it right. After calling no one seemed to care that they screwed up so I just ended up canceling my order. My husband and I are in our 80's and find ourselves without beds thanks to sears.
botched installation
Had terrible experience with Sears. I bought washer and dryer and paid for delivery and installation. When delivery people arrived, they weren't able to hook it up. They said valve was defective. I paid pro plumber to come out and he said valve was fine and started washer. Service call cost me over $100. No one at Sears store will call me back. Sears in Colonie Center in Albany, NY.
Carpet Cleaning Service
I was so looking forward to your carpet and upholstery service. However, the price I was given over the phone turned out substantially more ($120), items to be cleaned were missing from the work order which also cost more. The work was started before the lead rep called his manager at which time I asked them to stop the work. Now my not only is my carpet and upholstry not cleaned but my house smells damp and musty from the pretreatment. My family has used your service and never had as issue. Disappointed in Goodyear, AZ.
Appliance repair
I purchased an appliance from Sears including the extended warranty. I have had this appliance in and out of repairs for over a year. Same issue every time. I scheduled accornign to Sears the final repair visit to qualify for a replacement, waited all day for some one to call or show up and no one ever did, called the help line. I was then told it would be another week before someone could come to my house. If i conducted business this way i would not have a JOB.
worst service
I never had such bad service. Sear automotive in albuquerque nm is the worst. They charged me twice for a mistake they made and refused to give me district managers info.
Mower Purchase
ordered ride on mower at Toms River, NJ store and never got delivery. They claimed order was written wrong. This was done twice. No managers to speak to because they were on vacation. Still waiting for money back.
Bad Service
I bought a lawnmower 2 years ago with a 3 years extended warranty and the store had it for 4 weeks because every time I went to pick it up (4 times) it was not fixed properly. Last night I went back to the store and I finally took the lawnmower back but the blades were not sharpened. The "manager" which she was only a "lead" did not have any authorization to do anything, was very rude and didn't care about the whole issue.

I wonder if the new CEO of Sears is even MAN enough to read these reviews? Its pretty obvious that he isnt doing anything but running what used to be a fantastic place to shop into the ground. Oh well, as long as he gets his billions in stock options why should be care.
Poor Service & Delivery
I purchased a dishwasher & stove at my local Sears on 4/13/13 and when the dishwasher was installed (on 4/19)the installer stated it was dented on the side. He & my husband called the saleslady to fill out a form to replace it. Received a call next day to say it would be replaced but date unknown. We have been getting run around since. The stove was to be delivered 4/29 but received a call to say it was unavailable & have been getting run around on that too. Will no longer do business with Sears & am writing letter of complaint to Corporate Office now.

i needed new air filterers for my air filter cleaner that i bought at sears. i called and this guy said he would set a side 2 packs of them for me. when i called back to find out where i should go to pick them up. i called 6 times! before i located some one who would help me even though it was not her department, her nanre is betty. she works on the secmd flool rnear mattresses. f you have an employee incentive recognition program...she should be recognized. she is a keeper. an nett silva
The Sears Parts store in Houston off I-45 and E. Little York has some of the worst customer service and telephone etiquette that I have ever experienced. I went to another location, gladly paid more for the part, and completed the transaction in less than 10 minutes.
Sear SUCKS
I purchases ALL of my kitchen appliances from sears for my new home. I am having issues with the LG stove that I paid over $1500.00 for. It takes them over 2 weeks to come check it. Then it needs a part and I am told that the part will be delivered to my home and a repair person will come back to install the part in 6 weeks!!!!! What am I supposed to do for 6 weeks????? All sears says is "I am sorry". Well the part shows up at my house the NEXT DAY.......... I will NEVER purchase from sears again.
Should have went to LOWES
Bought their top of the line lawn tractor. Second time using it, the engine blew. Took two weeks for repair man to come out and confirm. He order new engine, which will take another two weeks to come and then I have to set up another appointment. Engine cost darn near as much as the mower on sale. Good PR would have been replace the mower, but no, the customer is the one that has to put up with their bad business practices.
Never Again
Wow after reading these reviews I am not alone! Complete lack of customer service. Installers never called just showed up. These same two guys that installed the stove and demanded another $105 when they arrived now showed up to install the new dishwasher. I had already made an official complaint. When I refused to sign after the install, this guy threatened to take it out and called me a "thief" this thing was paid in full at the store? In my house he is going to disrespect me? Go to another store but don't deal with Sears, they don't care about the customer.
delivery of 3 appliances
Bought washing machine, dryer and stove about $3700 worth. Paid Delivery day they never came and no one ever call. I call about 7:45 pm Store gave me delivery center phone. Three phone calls: two phone hang up while they were trying to connect with trucking company. Third a lady said they will call you. No one did.Called the store again.3 more phone calls. disconnects and music and nothing.
Terrible Customer Service
Sears really only cares about the dollar. Their customer service is the worst. I have been a loyal appliance Sears customer for 20 years. That ends today. I will never shop Sears again! After reading all the reviews I do not understand why they are still in business.
Crooks
Sear's Portrait Studio suddenly closed one day. Bought a certificate, called and asked for refund. I was told no refunds will be given. Called customer service 5 times, put on hold for 1 hour to speak to manager, after was told I wasn't able to. (I guess they were wishing I would hang up) Sear's is a real joke, and I know they soon will be closing their door's.
I will never shop at Sears again
I wish I had seen these reviews before I bought my dishwasher. A missed installation window of 4 hours. 5 phone calls to request a refund of delivery charges, a call to the corporate office to complain and I was offer a $25 gift card for Sears for "my inconvenience". They would rather I return the dishwasher than give mey $149 back. After requesting that they uninstall the dishwasher, I was finally offered the refund. Worst customer service experience ever. I will make a point to go out of my way to let people know that Sears is the worst kind of business. Disrespectful and disinterested in their customers. I will never shop at a Sears holding company again.

I visited your Sears Part North San Antonio, Texas twice in the last week. There are no sales associates to be found in Sears! There is one associate as you inter the store to answer the phone, ring up a customers. I predict if retail stores don't return sales associates and registers back to the departments each store will continue to lose money every day. The code to give great customer service, but the store has forgotten about great SERVICE !ha Sears is not the same Sears when it became Kmart!
I purchesed a Kenmore chest freezer 18 months ago and if just died I went online to try to get some clarification as to why and low and behold there was review after review indication what a horrible model this was and how it died after 18 months of use! I thought how could this be its obvious this model freezer is defective and surly I'd get some help, I called sears and all I got was after telling then my situation including the fact that I'm a single mom just spent $300 on groceries and can't afford a $75 service call for a appliance that's obviously defective according to all the complaints on the website I received NO help and was basically told if I don't pay for the repair I'm out of luck! How can 95 reviews all be wrong yes 95! I will never buy from Sears again EVER, A company that could careless about its customers will never see another penny of my money and I will tell everyone that will listen about this horrible experience
